Overpriced and average food. This place is like a mediocre nightclub. The prices are high and the service is poor. The staff are sarcastic and aggressive.

Food here was decent, could have been a better quality spread for the banquet. Service was attentive and they kept drinks flowing. Music was WAY too loud though so we could barely have a conversation at the dinner table. If you want to charge up before a night out, probably the best to go.

Very disappointed we came for a 30th and they literally gave our table away and kicked us out after 2 hrs when we were promised the table for the night.

Great food, fun vibes, attentive staff. Just can get a little tight for space when the dancefloor part opens up which does make it feel a little cluttered at times. But recommend for big groups.

Ricki and Anes went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, they were so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend Zaffi for a top night out with great food, service, and vibes!

Went for an event, the space is quite nice but can be a bit small for larger events. The booths are nice place to sit and the staff are really nice. Entrance is down a little alley, but overall a good place to be and hang out

Unfortunately if your an early seating, youre rushed out! Food was good but definitely not enough for the cost. You also lose your table and seating when the music and dancing begin. Definitely not for the older and less mobile people.

Abysmal to deal with. Rude, awful communication skills, and absolutely no integrity. Booking dinner almost two months in advance was apparently too difficult so we had to book elsewhere. We were informed that they wouldnt honour their agreement to have no time limit on our booking, after agreeing to get the most expensive banquet for almost 15 people.

Zaffi Sydney had the worst customer service. I had called to cancel a reservation as unexpected plans came up. They were not understanding at all, the person on the phone proceeded to scream at me over the phone for canceling my booking. Had I known the workers treated customers like this I would have never come and will spread the word for this horrible experience.

If I could rate Zaffi a zero I would. The restaurant is not a restaurant or a bar, it s a club apparently. No where on their website does it advertise as a club. Due to this reason, we had issues that we had one 17 year old with us, even though she was with responsible adults. Nonetheless, the staff are rude and abrupt, I have never felt more disrespected by restaurant owners in my life. The inability to communicate is ridiculous. I am aware of multiple people, including myself, who have attending Zaffi underage, and there has never been an issue. They claim they are a licensed small bar downstairs, although in government acts, it sets out legislation that a minor can be present in a small bar with a responsible adult. Although, apparently the law doesn t matter at Zaffi, they make their own rules depending on how they feel that day. We were then seated upstairs, which I was never aware of in my booking also, where the speakers barely work and the entertainment is nonexistent, despite claiming they re known for entertainment. The only entertainment I recieved was a grown man, yelling and screaming at me despite my calm approach to the situation. Aside from the horrible staff, the service is awful. They cleared out entrees after 15 minutes, and mains after 20. We never recieved dessert, even though we paid for the banquet, which also was apparently never recorded in my booking? Despite multiple text messages, stating my requests. None of my family members, friends or myself will ever attend Zaffi again, despite being multiple times before. If you want your night to be ruined, as my sisters hens night was, come to Zaffi Sydney!

Where do I begin. Last night my sister in law specifically booked a booth weeks in advance for her birthday. We arrive and they seat us on a makeshift table under the aircon duct which was not a fun experience- do they want us to get sick? When we approached the useless manager he was pretty much like too bad we don t have any booths free . What kind of response is that? We were obligated to order the set menu because we were a group of 8. For $89 per person you can expect to have your entrees on the table for exactly 10 minutes before they take them off even while you re still eating them - what the hell??? Also for 8 people you would think they would bring out more than 2 plates of one fish fillet and 2 plates of beef for a main? Quite stingy I believe. Adding insult to injury the venue was most definitely over its capacity and I believe my video evidence will support this when submitted to the liquor and gaming department. Also what is the point of having security when intoxicated patrons can grind up on young vulnerable women trying to enjoy their meal and not do anything about it? I am very disappointed and will not be coming back. P.s. the dj plays the same cycle of songs every 2 hours so I suggest you find some songs other than the ones on tik tok to add to your playlist. Not going to lie the drums were pretty good though. There are plenty of other places where you can get the authentic Lebanese night club experience that are actually worth your money and time. Don t bother with this place.

Don t go here if you want to leave hungry. Despite ordering the $89-per-person banquet for 11 people, we only received food meant for 4, yet we were charged for 11. The menu indicates the servings are for 2 people minumum, but they clearly dont accommodate the number of guests they claim to. This felt like a blatant attempt to maximise profit. Communication was poor, and the managers demeanor was less than professional. In a reputable establishment, its understood that dishes are shared between 2 people, not 4, especially when portions are minimal. AND they tried to charge us for the $120 pp banquet first try when they brought out our bill, even tho we did not ask for that menu.

From the start of the booking we weren t told that the express menu meant that we had to be out within the hour. This was brought to our attention via email hours before our booking. So we called the venue to confirm what s happening. We accepted that we had a limited time and all was fine. We arrived early and the lady at the door was lovely. Shown our seats and ordered drinks while we waited for our guests arrived. On a number of occasions the head waiter was telling us that we needed to start to bring the food out. Mind you there are 4 of us out of the 9 attending. The guests arrived minutes later and food was arriving to the table. From that moment onwards we were reminded that the time is limited and I was almost choking on my food with anxiety! The head waiter was rude and made our evening unenjoyable and rushed. The booking shouldn t have been taken if you can t offer good service and great customer service. Contact me if you need any further information about our experience. Reply - I asked to pay extra on the evening and it was declined due to a booking after us. We never asked for 2 hrs it was a 1 hr package. I am not sure what your talking about regarding blackmail but you are very aggressive .

Never ever go here! Terrible customer service. It was a birthday party for my daughter and was booked for 9 people. From the start we were told we only have 1hr to eat and leave. Nothing about this was mentioned on booking, apparently its an express menu We were more then happy to order outside this menu but was told on the night the table is already booked in an hr . Staff dont know the menu nor the drinks Super crowded Aggressive waiter contently reminding us we have an hour to eat, the waiter told us at least 6 times. Small venue with over priced food and drinks. Not much to no walking pace in venue and very loud environment. Definitely never recommend this venue to anyone. To your reply.. Yes we knew about it on the actual day that is why I called you to confirm. You were happy to honor it . Its not about budget constraints it was about honoring your booking. You had a choice to provide great customer service which would have been memorable. You had a choice to decline the booking it doesnt give you the right to be aggressive and rude. Please dont make assumptions on people when you have no right. Also we arrived early, our party was not late and the hour is for us to use . Thankyou for all your advise on places to go and definitely will try Groupon because I can guarantee a much better service and definitely professional business management. Amazing vibe, definitely worth a visit

Food and service was superb!!

Absolutely horrified by my experience at Zaffi Restaurant. Upon booking this restaurant online it specifically says you have no control over where you re seated. When we arrived the crammed us into a tiny space right next to a rowdy birthday party, where people were literally standing over us as we tried to eat. When we complained they told us you have to book months in advance to sit downstairs or specify your seat which is not clear when you book online. The unbearable stench of body odour was with us the whole night thanks to guests standing over us during dinner time instead of sitting down and eating like you re supposed to at a restaurant. We told the manager multiple times that we were uncomfortable and he pretty much said deal with it. The whole situation was revolting. To top it all off, a crawling bug emerged from my cauliflower! The waiter casually picked it out with his fingers and whisked the plate away, as if that was an acceptable solution. Disgusted beyond words. Avoid this place at all costs.

This has got to be the most unprofessional restaurant/bar I have EVER had to deal with!!! I booked at table at 7:15pm for a set menu dinner, confirmed using the link they sent me AND confirmed again when they called, only for them to change my booking the day before my birthday dinner without my approval to 10pm. I attempted multiple times to call and discuss the matter of my booking only to not receive any response back. So I spent all night stressing, having to finding a restaurant who can take last minute bookings. The next day, after I ve booked for a dinner at another place at a REASONABLE time, theyve changed my booking back to 7:15pm. I ve messaged, asking them to change it back to 10pm without a set menu as I ve already accommodated my night to suit the new booking that I ve never consent to, to which they ve agreed. We rock up to the place at 10pm for our table that we ve BOOKED only for them to say they have NO TABLE and are only prioritising those who booked for set menus. Long story short, I never got my table that they ve promised. This place is an absolute joke - thank you zaffis for causing me so much stress. I will never recommend this place to anyone. An absolute waste of my time!!!

I recently dined at zaffi with a group of eight, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The hospitality was lackluster, and it felt like a real rip-off for what we received. To start, we were surprised to find that for our group of eight, we were only provided with two desserts, which were quite frankly, subpar. The food overall was nothing to write home about; it lacked creativity and flavor, leaving us all underwhelmed. Furthermore, it was so crowded that you couldn t even walk around comfortably, which made the atmosphere quite unpleasant. The prices for alcohol were exorbitant, and we felt they were taking advantage of us. To add insult to injury, we were charged for water, despite being in a package deal. It s hard to believe that in this day and age, a restaurant would impose such charges on basic necessities. Additionally, we faced an unexpected $100 cancellation fee for two people who couldn t make it. We had informed the restaurant earlier that morning, not just 15 minutes before our arrival, which made this fee all the more frustrating. Overall, I would not recommend this place based on this experience. The combination of poor hospitality, mediocre food, high prices, and an overcrowded environment left a sour taste. There are plenty of other dining options that offer better value and service.

I had special girls night out and we were given small table barely fits 3 people and we were 5. There was not enough space to move or order more than 3 plates. Very squishy place. Also, we had to wait 45min from our reservation time to get our table ready. The Ambience nice & the food we ordered is good too.

Ok where shall I start with this restaurant! The service was ordinary and quite rude, we made a reservation for 5 ppl for a hens party and they gave us a table which would only fit 2 people at most, and on top of that we had to wait about 40 minutes to be seated. Eventually they found a bigger table for us, though this was after we had already finished eating. We had ordered two bottles of wine which were left on our old table and thrown away. As an apology we were given a glass of pretty ordinary house wine each. We didn t drink much but we all felt pretty terrible the next day. The food was also fairly overpriced. So needless to say, I would not recommend this place.

We had a very beautiful experience in Zaffi this week. We had dinner with my siblings and husband and everything was amazing. The food, service, atmosphere were perfect!!! We were all happy and we couldn t wait to dine in again soon.

Yesterday, my friends and I had the pleasure of dining at ZAffI, and it was an absolute delight! The food was simply incredible, with standout dishes like the hummus and manosh bread stealing the spotlight. Our experience, was nothing short of amazing We cant wait to return!

Zaffi was great, the service was amazing. The food was beautiful. However the crowd was a little too young and it was really squashy.

Group of 5 at 630 seemed a little quiet but the service was great. Little quiet but respected our quintet and chatting (group of 5 girls). Mario was our waiter for the night and his service and communication was impeccable. Always checked in with us to see if we needed anything and if the food was ok. If you re loookign for 90s party vibe but want to sit down and chill and party reccomend this place. Mario is a wonderful asset to the team. Thanks for making our night out memorable.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would!!! So many problems starting off with squished seating 2nd of all we called up prior to attending the place and told them if we have someone who s 17.5 yrs old with a legal guardian would we still be able to attend, they clarified yes as long as the parent was also attending. We went there checked all of our ID including the 17.5 year old they sat us down brought out the food and heaps of rounds of drinks and then decided to kick us out because we had an under 18 there???? And also did not notify us that there could not be under 18s after 10pm when to start off with they knew our reservation was at 10:30pm To me it looks like they just wanted the money. After kicking us out and making us all look like a joke he told us we could go back in if he saw the ID Terrible place will never be attending ever again EDIT in response to your response because I m somehow blocked from telling the truth I did have 2 legal guardians with us there actually and we proved that before entering the premises so quit the lies Yous don t deserve us to pay almost 2k on not even an hour of us being there

Was here last night Food - was quite good , for $95 per head there wasn t much more than a few salads and dips and the lamb was quite fatty I personally wouldn t come here just for dinner , but you come for the experience as a whole The service - was good The vibe of the place is really fun though ! However I was disappointed as for a Lebanese venue I was expecting more Arabic music but it was predominantly English . Dj was ok but random music at times , he would play Britney Spears and then half way through it would change to some hip hop track that just didn t mix well But all in all if you want a fun night out this place won t disappoint

Such a great place! The food and cocktails were amazing! We shared a bunch of appetizers between the four of us and that provided us with plenty of food! The manoosh khabaz was a definite hit, followed by the cauliflower and the eggplant. Honestly, every dish was delectable. Would highly recommend.

First time here and it was a raining evening with all table taken at the street level of the restaurant. This was manned by one staff member who never missed a beat. Service with a smile, efficient and just delivered everything with a smile. Deddy kudos to you. Food was good. Represents good flavours, fresh ingredients and serve size was generous. We made a booking for our cousins bucks night. The reservation was booked for 10:30. Then they changed it to 10:45 we got there by 10:40 and they still wasnt ready. We stayed there till 11:10 waiting outside all 12 of us. They tried to give us shoots as an apology, which was appreciated. But the way they approached this and told us 5 more mins every time we asked was not good. Highly not recommended, I dont know about the service inside. But we waited outside for 30mins and still didnt get our tables. We ended going somewhere else and had a good night. Update.. the venue sent us an email the next morning. Saying we canceled our reservation ourselves.. what a joke

We had Xmas party for 20 people nice place but a bit small we paid $95 per head for the food but most off the food was couple of dips and Fried bread with salad so I wouldnt recommend to eat there Food

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! If you want to waste your money and birthday celebration, get served by waitresses that dont understand english or arabic, dont understand the menu, enjoy sweating with no air-conditioning, receive the wrong drink orders, received food inconsistently. Also we wanted to eat more of my birthday cake but the waitresses said the cake was finished when it was a cake that served over 10 people!

We recently celebrated our marriage at Zaffi and it was without a doubt one of the most amazing experiences. We were able to book out the entire downstairs of the restaurant and sat comfortably 85 guests. The booking process was made easy by the events team and the team were efficient and extremely helpful during the bump in with the event stylist and set the room exactly how we envisioned. The food was absolutely outstanding and the service was immaculate with servers, bar tenders and floor manager all working together effortlessly to make the night as enjoyable as it was special. My recent visit to this Lebanese restaurant left me disappointed. Despite requesting to be seated downstairs for the advertised entertainment, we were told that only upstairs seating was available even after booking it 1 month in advance. The service was slow, and for the first hour, all we got was an excessive amount of bread with no other offerings. Considering the high price of $90 per person, the overall experience wasnt worth it. I left feeling unsatisfied with the value for money and the overall dining experience.

Honestly the food isn t even lebanese food, my friends parents can make it so much better. If you want lebanese food go somewhere else because this place is not worth it $200 per person is a rip off and a half. The waiters have an accent and don t even understand what your saying to them. The music is way too loud absolutely ear piercing. Definitely will never be coming back and never be recommending it. Thank you for your immature response we can tell the owners cant take criticism like an adult. We understand now why the waitresses have no clue what they are doing because the people in charge dont have a clue themselves.

Please trust me, I am really sorry for trusting this restaurant I booked a table online for 5 people and planned a special night with my friends But unfortunately, they took the meter to the upper floor, which was the bar place, and said that this is where you sitThe dance floor was low and we didnt enjoy it at all, when we were very upset, they only offered us a free cocktail. I was very embarrassed in front of my friends because I had invited them to this restaurant Our table was in such a way that we were only watching the wall And finally, instead of apologizing, charging with the highest price Only the appetizer was great and the main course was two types of fish and meat for 5 people and none of us were full. Such a vibe with a group of girlfriends. Service was amazing the staff were very attentive. Great atmosphere, it s small but it allows everyone to party together and it makes you get up and enjoy yourself. Wish the drummer stayed out for longer intervals because that was fun. Food was nice but we wouldn t do a banquet just order individually what we all feel like. Will defiantly be back!

Be careful,when u are reserving,because there is 2 spot,downstairs and upstairs, the upstairs has no entertainment section,and they are not mentioning that the reservation gonna be which level and if u are upstairs u will just have dinner and enough.

Food - Came here for a group birthday and had the set menu. Unfortunately all of the food was pretty subpar. Aside from the Haloumi, everything seemed to be lathered in some type of sour sauce, it was all extremely sour. The lamb was very small and a lot of bones. The warm bread was delicious and probably the highlight of the meals. Not many substantial options for vegans. Service - Very nice waiter, only her second week and was left alone (Not even a manager there to assist, she had to phone call him?). Atmosphere - Amazing, great lighting and music. Only downfall was that there seemed to be no AirCon, it was very stuffy and warm The aesthetic and vibe of the venue is awesome, a lot of potential, just the food that unfortunately let it down.

Paid $200 for yoghurt and pomegranate. Literally pomegranate in all 6 dishes we ordered and none were of any substance whatsoever. There is zero knowledge or passion in the kitchen and that makes sense when you see the staff in there, and the prices are unbelievable. Worst meal Ive ever had out and I feel completely robbed.

Zaffi has to be the weirdest place I have ever been to for a meal. I don t think poor Zaffi knows what it wants to be. A restaurant, a club or just your cousins hangout. Food is ok, ambiance is weird, The staff are all really nice and all but they don t have a clue how to do service. It really is truly terrible on that front.. I actually had my waitress bring a bottle of wine, poor a taster and walk off, never to be seen again, completely oblivious. I can t really be mad at the staff as they are all really really nice. But just really clueless too. Bless. Keep trying Zaffi. I won t be back.

Huge party celebration at this place and we paid $89 per head for the banquet. Our food was sent to another group so we had to wait for them to remake our order. Servings were tiny - sizes for two people to share yet supposed to serve to five. Outrageous!!! We had no alcohol and were charged $11 per soft drink and $30 per bottle of water. Food was average. We left hungry. Absolutely disgusting experience. Service was rubbish and atmosphere was a big fat zero. Highway robbery at this rip off so called dining establishment. What a poor excuse for a restaurant!

Unfortunately not a good experience. The only decent food was the za atar bread, the rest of the set menu was very limited and unexciting. The upstairs seating seemed to be covered picnic tables and placed under an air conditioner which was leaking water. The waitress service was good.
