We had such a wonderful experience with their high tea. Their service was immaculate with all the staff going above and beyond with fulfilling the booking requests, helping us take pictures and even filming a video for us, noticing when the sunlight was too hot and bringing the automatic shades down at the windows. The savory items were delicious, we loved the self service sundae, crème brûlée scones, and tea selections.
Beautiful restaurant, fantastic service, very attentive and answered questions about various dishes, very knowledgeable. Our steaks were excellent quality, both cooked to perfection exactly as we asked. Sides were delicious, truffle fries and mushrooms were brilliant accompaniments to our steaks and were so tasty. Our table looked out onto the historic Queen Victoria Building. The staff made a lovely fuss of a 60th birthday celebration meal, which made it extra special. Highly recommended.
Wonderful modern restaurant with huge windows looking out across to the beautiful Queen Victoria Building. Seating is well spaced and the tables generous. The food is well prepared and presented and the flavours are great. Service is top notch, attentive, professional and knowledgeable. During our lunch time seating it was subdued and relaxing. The wine list is extensive and includes a good selection of wine by the glass. Some of the furniture is showing signs of wear which is not in keeping with the overall ambiance.
Enjoyable experience and great location. Convenient parking downstairs if you pre-book. The meals were all great and cooked will would reccommend giving a go if you are looking for a nice meal!
The food was very nice, I really liked the duck breast and my family liked the food as well. They had very good deserts too. Also, wine selection is decent and you cannot go wrong with it. The vibe and atmosphere was good too. If you ask for a table by window, the view is good towards George street and Queen Victoria Building.
A great find in the middle of the city. We had the Express Lunch which was only $38pp. Included a main and dessert. I had the barramundi which was a generous size and delicious. The steak and fries that my friends had also was delicious they said. The service was so good and the restaurant itself was stunning. A great place for client or staff lunches
Hands down the best restaurant in Sydney! The moment you walk on you are greeted in style , the restaurant atmosphere was divine, the lighting and mood on point and just by looking around you are surrounded with walls of wine and a view to the QVB which is magical.
On the roller coaster of fine dining, this was underwhelming. We were here partly on a voucher, which meant they restricted our menu, but for $240 for the food, I thought we would have better options. Hummus for a starter! Very pedestrian. The barramundi was okay, but I didn't like the broth. Surely, they could do better than shoestring fries & green leaves for sides. The chocolate tart for dessert was a milk chocolate casing filled with melting mousse. It was not great. The wine, which was another $100, were all good selections. We sat in a booth looking at large mirrors, which reflected my disappointment.
Great Christmas work lunch. Yummy good and wine and top service.

A delicious restaurant created by celebrity chef Luke Mangan. If youre in Sydney, be sure to stop by and try it. Vegetarian options: We can accommodate vegetarian menus. Please consult. We can accommodate menus with dietary restrictions. Please consult. Parking: Parking is available at the Hilton Sydney. Kid-friendliness: Its a famous restaurant, so its best not to bring children with you. Wheelchair accessibility: It is also available for wheelchair users.
I d have the Glass Brasserie for breakfast every morning during my stay at Hilton Sydney. I m a sucker for a good window seat, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me every time! Food was plentiful and slightly varied every morning and would always set my day right! Shout out to Naomi for the exceptional service she went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of! I love the kindness of the Australian people and this has only furthered that belief!
Food and service was impeccable. The seating however... needs working on. The chairs are so low, when I was seated (on a lounge) I was so low to the table I needed a cushion to sit on just so I could eat...and even then its very uncomfortable to eat with dinosaur arms reaching up to your food. I was at least 20cm too low amd felt like a kid. Why do high end restaurants do this??? Table was also rocky/unstable.
Fantastic service, does the classics to perfection. The wine selection is second to none in Australia, highly recommend to everyone.
Lunch at the Glass Brasserie. A tradition now with my daughter on Black Friday, where we relax after shopping enjoying great food. Extensive wine list. Attentive, exceptional staff. Great location and easy to get to. Would highly recommend.
The other staff are nice but other staff are very rude and giving a bad attitude towards customers like me.
We ordered the christmas degustation menu. The food was at best, average but what was worse was that we left hungry, and ended up going to kfc afterwards. Not the best experience for $150 per head.
Mesmerizing ambience with excellent service and delicious food.
People can get good even great food anywhere in Sydney. What you re paying for at Glass is an experience, which fell flat. Even with a reservation the hostess restricted seating in an almost empty restaurant. The initial server (clearly not a server) was less than informed about bar and menu contents. Appearance is great, food is good wait staff is awesome, and it s all brought down by a pretentious front of the house.
Nice place
We are long-time customers and really appreciate what this place offers. However we have noticed some changes in recent visits that in our opinion, bring the quality down from the standard we expected.
I have been invited to quite a few customer lunch meetings at Glass Brasserie. In a city like Sydney, where dietary preferences are so diverse, I expected Glass Brasserie to feature more thoughtfully curated vegetarian dishes that could stand on par with their non-vegetarian selections. Instead, it felt like vegetarian options were an afterthought, and I ended up feeling somewhat restricted in my choices. I d love to see the restaurant embrace a broader approach to plant-based dining, adding a few hearty, inventive vegetarian mains to make the dining experience more inclusive. For vegetarians looking for a fine dining experience, Glass Brasserie may leave you craving more variety. However, if you re okay with limited options, the quality and presentation of their dishes are still worth experiencing.
The customer service was very polite. The food was also delicious. thank you very much. It was a very good trip.
Our go to place for celebration breakfasts. From lovely greeting by Mia at reception to the excellent quality buffett, highly recommended
Its my second visit and not as a hotel guest. There is a class ambience with great food and wine. I had their Steak Tartare for entree and Pork Loin for main. They were delightfully paired with a wonderful French Rose. The staff cared for us meticulously. Dietary restrictions: Staff asked us of any dietary requirements Wheelchair accessibility: There are ample lifts and entries, wide aisles for mobility challenged people.
Fantastic food and even better service, we had breakfast here during our four day stay, we had the pleaseure of being served by Naomi who made the experience so much better, she was extremely kind and friendly and our kids absolutely loved her. Mr and Mrs Martin.
It was indeed a great experience celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the Glass Brasserie. Were very pleased by the way we were welcomed by the lady at the front door and by another male staff who took us to our table. Clavio and another female asian staff who served us were extemely nice, very accommodating. Clavios way of serving was excellent, as if hes serving his own family. The service was so fast and was beyond our expectation. Thanks for a very wonderful service. Our family enjoyed everything.
Food Dinner 3/5 -oysters 5/5 fresh -snapper 2/5 Too salty -side of mash 4/5 good Underwhelming for the price point, expected better Buffet breakfast 5/5 -large selection of food Service 4/5 Pretty good Atmosphere 5/5
Internet
Overpriced and overrated, although the sommelier was really lovely! Chefs need to pull their head in - spend your money elsewhere - bread was burnt - scallops were uninteresting, bland - taramasalata came with about a teaspoon of taramasalata, ratio to the cucumbers was like 1:1000 - mushrooms were soggy, sad, bland. They tasted like how I cooked mushrooms for the first time ever (not knowing how). - duck was overcooked and tiny
I dont think your service is good we ordered the table near the window at Tuesday and we came here at Saturday but you didn t reserve seats for us. The food is too sweet.Terrible experience Dietary restrictions: Afternoon tea is too sweet
Cafe/Restaurant in Hilton hotel.
You cant go wrong here. Staff are attentive & really made it special for my parents 50th anniversary without notice, the atmosphere is beautiful, the food is amazing, it was my second visit & one of the best places Ive visited, the rooms at the Hilton are also immaculate. A special thanks from us to the staff that made it a wonderful occasion for us.
This has been the best fine dining experience I have had anywhere in Sydney. The food alone was worth five stars but the staff, sommelier, view, everything was out of this world next level. One of the cheapest degustation on top of all of that!
Nice place to hangout However, not many variety on the menu Good plating but hoping the quantity is more (comparing to other restaurant near by) Duck dish is highly recommend!
Had a lovely afternoon tea. Great selection, delicious sandwiches, perfect scones, and beautifully presented desserts. The ambiance was elegant, and the service top-notch. Highly recommend for a relaxing treat!
Ok, so we did the high tea which is only on Saturday for maybe 2 hours? 2-4pm...but gosh was it indulgent. Honestly, tea was the least of it. If you go...ask for a sundae. Its not an extra cost but they cant bring it out with the trays of petit-fours. Id go back and pay the $70 or so a head just for the sundae. Everything was spot on and fab. Would recommend over the QVB high tea across the road.
Steak was soooo delicious, breakfast was good too. Service was a bit slow for dinner
Late night tipple and cheese plate. Food, service, atmosphere spectacular. Hilton of old.
Beautiful place. Great service. We only had drinks and some small share plates. The food was outstanding, and the drinks were delicious. We enjoyed our time here.
Went here for my birthday, and it was fabulous all round. Recommend the sprouts sidedish as a standout!
Beautiful and elegant location with excellent service. Food is delicious but the afternoon high tea is especially excellent. Check out my food Instagram @erinxeats for more!
Food & atmosphere were great but didn t have the best service. Just my experience. I m sure others have had better!
Really good good service and atmosphere
Dishes were perfect ! And staffs are professional !
Omlette station it is a chaos state. Unbelievable! Mr Mangan you should know better as a celebrity chef in a 5 star property. How come an omlette station and buffet can be in the same queue? Absolute disaster to wait in the same line. Food quality? 2nd grade.
Wow the service and the food are amazing! I ll definitely be back Megan was extremely helpful and well mannered. I ll look forward to my next stay at the Hilton. Dietary restrictions: There are a lot of great gluten free options available
We went for light dinner after whale watching. It turned out to be very nice surprise. Foods are of decent price with excellent services. Love it!
A wonderful dining experience.
I had an amazing high tea experience, highly recommended!
We were here for a party over breakfast buffet. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were helpful and the food selection was great.
Best breakfast ever! One of the few breakfast buffets in the world that keeps food replenished in small increments but at frequent intervals so that it is always hot and fresh regardless of what time you eat. Parking: Best option is online pre-booking at Secure Parking website
Superb in every way. Waiters immaculately dressed - not looking like they ve just emerged in t-shirts from a day s housework - and NO PIPED MUSIC so it s actually possible to conduct a conversation without shouting.
I have been a loyal patron for over a decade, and I must say that the handmade gnocchi has consistently been my favourite dish. The soft and delicate texture, combined with the bursting flavours, is simply a delight for my taste buds. However, its not just the gnocchi that keeps me coming back. The entire dining experience, from the welcoming atmosphere to the attentive service, is always exceptional. Each visit is a reminder of why The Glass Brasserie holds a special place in my heart, and I truly treasure the delightful moments Ive experienced there.
Had a great birthday lunch. Food and especially the Italian wine were both delicious. Staff pleasant and helpful.
The food and the service was smooth in the beginning we was order Ala carte food planing order desert in the end turn out we full so I just ask if we can have birthday sign things and the staff said have to order desert first the get it so I agree but my friend refuse coz they all so full and the staff start give us bad face it s our choice rite they should respect their customers choice
Ok for the price but wouldn t come back. At a minimum a brasserie should know how to cook a medium rare steak. Mine was still mooing on the plate when it arrived. Majority blue, with patches of rare. The duck was practically flying off the plate and when it was sent back it came back overcooked, flavour was good though. At least the Fries and bread were good.
The black angus beef steak was absolutely delicious. Prepared medium rare it had a flavour that stimulated our senses. I highly recomend it. The portion was enough for two hungry people.
Great food, but it took almost 4 hours for the 6 course menu. They didn t check my dietary requirements and I hade dairy on the first 2 courses. It was my anniversary, I mentioned it but nothing special came to us, not even a desert saying happy anniversary
The food was amazing. We started with the cannellini bean humus with broccolini and sour dough bread. Then we had the Ulladulla flathead fish that had a corn and tortilla sauce. Unfortunately, the service was the worst that we have ever experienced. Our waiter struggled with English. I don t fault him for that, but even the manager couldn t completely describe the menu choices. It took 40 minutes from the time we finished our appetizer before our entrees came. My husband ordered a salad which never arrived. It took another 15 minutes to get the check even after complaining to the manager and the head server.
I ve lived in Sydney since 2014 and I can t believe I haven t been told about awesome restaurant. The restaurant is really well designed. It s classy and spacious yet comfortable, with the open kitchen so you can watch the action. There s a huge glass wine cellar right next to you as well. Very clean and tidy. Firstly I had the steak tartare as a starter. A solid 5/5. Faultless with a generous portion. Now, for mains I hardly ever order steak at a restaurant as I never get what I m looking for. However, I gave it a go and ordered the wagyu, and OMG!! I ve been to 46 countries around the world and I can honestly not recall having a steak this good. The wine was phenomenal as well. I had a French red and it was perfect for the steak. The highlight of the evening was the way Cindy looked after me from the time I arrived. I was having dinner alone and she made sure to engage and check up on me regularly whilst still running the show effortlessly. She s really fantastic. I will definitely go back and if I ever have to organise a steak night out, this is where I ll be for sure, 100%.
Fantastic food great service highly recommend
Nice well presented food Friendly efficient team Wonderful atmosphere Well priced Thankyou Cheers Jas from Canberra
I only had breakfast here related to my stay at the Hilton. Impressive hot buffet with different choices every day. I would recommend to go as early as you possibly can get out of bed as it feels like the kitchen gets tired after 9.30 which btw is understandable. I was there in January during vacation time, so lots of hotels guests and the place was super busy. Great attentive staff that offers last round when the barista shut down the coffee machine. Loved it!
The Glass house was outstanding. The service was excellent and the food wonderful. This is a venue that I would gladly recommend.
I was gifted a Red Balloon 3 course dinner voucher and was so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the experience was. We received friendly professional service, coupled with an exceptional menu that was sensational and very good portion sizes. Well done to everyone involved everything was perfectly executed!!
Valentines 2024. 8pm seating, $200 per person. We had a drink at the bar, seated 8:15pm entree came just before 9pm. I think the bread and pasta was reasonable, wagyu steak with bone marrow butter was really delicious. I think for the money value not there, service just too slow. Restaurant itself was very comforting, tall ceilings and mood lighting really sets up a special evening. Loved the atmosphere.
Few of us collegues went to get breakfast here last week while in Sydney . Food was delicious and fresh. Service was friendly. Great place to get a hearty breakfast . Need to book a table in advance.
Good place to celebrate any occasion.
We were so fortunate to spend Christmas Day at such a brilliant restaurant. The food choices on the set menu were all incredible. All of the staff were incredible. Brilliant alcohol matchings with the set menu. We all left extremely full & happy. Job well done
I came twice for breakfast and enjoyed both meals. The oatmeal was simple, but the caramelised banana added sweetness and the toasted almonds lifted the texture. My omelette was also delicious. The setting is beautiful - spacious, airy and calm. Its a wonderful place to start the day. My only complaint was that the service was slow. I had to actively flag down staff. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian breakfast options Dietary restrictions: Accommodating for dietary restrictions Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is tranquil and may not be appropriate for children
Cheap service at premium prices. Service has dropped drastically since the COVID restrictions. You have to call the waiters back several times just to get a drink and then wait unreasonably for food. The floor staff (starting with the child manager) are clearly not at a level to match the prices or the reputation of the chef. Third strike and they re out.
Had date night here tonite with my wife. Always has been our favourite place and never dissappoints. The food & atmosphere and not to mention the awesome staff make the occassion special every time. Definitely a 5 star place if you want to dine in a great place with that special person. Thank you
Friendly and attentive staff, but my partner and I were left underwhelmed by the food, especially for the price. The bread starters were tough and served with a somehow dull olive oil. We got the scallops for an entree, and whilst the sauce was nice, the scallops themselves lacked much flavour and didnt taste overly fresh. I got the duck ravioli as a main and for $50 I was extremely disappointed. The ravioli was overcooked and served in an exceptionally bland broth. My partner got the beef sirloin which was a nice cut of meat, but was overly seared on the outside to the point of being burnt, giving the dish an unpleasant aftertaste. A good selection of wines and cocktails, at fairly standard Sydney prices. I was glad to have $50 off our bill since we were staying at the hotel, but our meal still came to $130, which could have gotten us a much nicer meal elsewhere.
Exceptional service with genuine warmth from all staff in the restaurant. Food superb...a truly memorable Christmas lunch. Dietary restrictions: Excellent understanding g of nut allergy
They serve very well and their letter is of very good quality, I recommend it
Fabulous buffet breakfast. Great service. Relaxing space and atmosphere! First class Barista Coffee!!
Truffle & Parmesan French fries. Truffle mashed potatoes. Green leaf salad, raspberry dressing. Rocket and parmesan salad. Sonoma wholemeal Batch 30 sourdough Served with Luke Mangan olive oil. A Glass of Sav Blanc. The perfect meal. Yes I know its an odd choice from a brilliant à la carte menu... but before you raise an eye brow... I suggest you try out the combination if you are a potato, truffle, and fresh warm bread lover. Youll be rolling out of the joint in carbo-hydrate heaven.
We enjoyed a fantastic buffet breakfast to start the day for our sons birthday. The ser ice was excellent, and the food was delicious. Its easily one of the best buffet breakfasts in town. Food : 5/5
Was here for my 30th birthday dinner with my boyfriend. It was good experience. Lovely staff and great food and wine.
Walked in and the older man who was working the restaurant portion of the area was quite rude - greeted us and told us we can sit anywhere but after we found a table and went to sit he moved us somewhere else. Once we were seated this man came over again and snatched the wine menu out of my partners hand as he was reading. After that experience we decided to move to the other end of the area to be served by a lovely woman - that is the only reason why this review isn t 1 star. While the place was lovely the rude man working tonight made sure that this will be the only visit we make to this bar/ restaurant.
We went for drinks only and the bar tender did not know how to do certain drinks. On top of this the only waitress had a problem with priorities, ran around without any plan and cleaned empty tables several times and forgot to wait guests over it. Tables are old and worn out. All in all a disaster. They belong to the Hilton Hotel which is even more embarassing. Never again.
The food is not bad actually, everything a little too salty maybe. The worst was the service, unattentive, had to ask several times for a water refill or if I can please order another drink. Drinks took forever, the bar is too busy tonserve both bar area and dining area. The waitress spilled parts of one of our drinks on herself and did not even realize it. The worst is they add a 10% service charge, which I would not have given them normally, given the very bad service. Not recommended.
Standard upper end hotel buffet. All the normal options but with some good fresh juices/smoothies
Amazing classy bar with a lovely atmosphere , great service and top lychee martinis. Perfect for after work snack /drinks or a cosy date
I visit the restaurant occasionally. The food never disappoints.
We went here before a show. Great service and wine.
NAH Mussel fettuccine Fish tempura chips
Elegant but not pretentious and with excellent service. Dont be afraid to take risks when ordering, the chef knows what he is doing.
Steak was not hot enough when presented to table. Cooked beautifully though.
great service
Comfortable contemporary fit out in a clever architectural space. Excellent service and food was enticingly presented and delicious.
Family and I came in for dinner. The food and service was amazing. Lovely atmosphere. Even offered a little appetiser because the kitchen is a bit busy.
Had relatively high expectations, but were definitely disappointed. The open wines were really not the best. The service was rather chaotic and the toilets were a disaster.
Fine Dining Great service Nice location Recommended dishes
Bit disappointed since my last visit. A bun of whole meal bread is counted as one item in the degustation meal with matching wine!!. The wines poured at our table were not exactly measured. The once superb, fine dining, and attention to detail went downhill.
Sadly something has changed, this was my favourite restaurant and last nights meal was terrible. The staff seemed to rush us through, the sirloin was so tough for everyone who had ordered it and we ordered coffees that never came. We did advise the wait staff and got shrugged off.
Good vibez
Great place, great food, good wine. Doesnt get much better!
One of my favourite restaurants in Sydney. Very nice restaurant. Good service. Variety of wine with a very reasonable price!
Nothing beats a lazy morning, enjoying a delicious buffet spread, with floor to ceiling windows revealing intimate views of the beautiful Queen Victoria Building
A high-priced restaurant, a dinner set for two plus house wine costs 300 Australian dollars, which seems more expensive on weekends The food is exquisite and delicious, a special experience
This place is a pleasant surprise. Lovely team that really know how to look after you. The prawn entree should be illegal its so good. Back now better than ever.
Great atmosphere, convenient location inside Hilton Syndey Hotel located in Syndey CBD, very friendly staff, good service and delicious food. Recommended for any special celebration.
Arrived at 4:45 and asked if food was being served at 5pm - got told no food is already being served so I ordered the $28 burger. Not alot of other tables were eating but it took over 30mins for the burger to arrive. Was a little overcooked for my liking, unsure if they forgot about it while cooking or if thats the standard. Not in a rush to return.
Beautiful decor in a stylish setting. Attentive staff. Wonderful meals.
Incredible Full breakfast spread (if you re staying at the Hilton and are a Diamond member- be sure to upgrade to the full breakfast for 10AUD! It s worth it!) We enjoyed made to order Salmon Eggs Benedict, smashed avocado, over easy eggs and beautiful cappuccinos! Now let s talk about what s on the buffet! Fresh fruits (included white pineapple and fresh figs!), fresh smoothies and juices, Bircher muesli, cold cuts, chia seed pudding, yogurt and toppings. Hot bar included bacon, meats, sautéed mushrooms, congee, veggie dumplings and more! Then there was the bread station full of fresh baked breads, baguettes, Viennoiserie, spreads (including Nutella and Vegemite!). Not sure why others have given sub par reviews on this breakfast selection. It s delicious and the ambiance inside the Glass Brasserie is phenomenal!
We had breakfast there this morning What a Disappointment Let s start with the Bacon: it was cold hard and no flavour Poached eggs: look like they d been microwaved in plastic bags no flavour at all Sausages: chicken and pork by eating a chicken one and then a pork one you couldn t tell which was the chicken an which was the pork very sad experience 1/4/2023
This is now a second review. I have had to edit the first review as, for some reason, I cannot add a second review. First of all, I want to compliment the restaurant with regard to the service. It was simply perfect. The ambience was wonderful and the food was unquestionably good. The wine list is one of the most extensive that I have ever encountered in a restaurant. I would need years to explore it but there is no doubt that you will find a wine to enjoy here. The food was no less impressive. The signature desert of the licorice parfait is not to be missed but the other deserts are good too. This time we booked the night in the Hilton Hotel so the dinner could be relaxed and there was no worries about passing a breathalyzer on the way home. Well done to everyone, we had a memorable experience for our joint birthdays.
Food very nice and also very nice staffs
The atmosphere was good, the steak was good, the food was good overall, and the staff kindly explained it to me.
Daily breakfast and 2 pre fixe dinners
Amazing food service and so clean highly recommend. We stayed at the rocks and caught the tram the last two mornings for breakfast I also book Mother s Day breaks. Best breakfast in Sydney kids under 7 eat free Kid-friendliness: My kids loved it even though one child only ate Nutella they were very accommodating my older kids ate everything else and helped themselves
Although in the hotel, the Western seafood is great value for money.
Excellent service and I had the perfect beef tartar and beautiful truffle parmesan chips Wheelchair accessibility: Easy lift goes directly into the restaurant
Cant fault this place
Never disappointed with Glass Brasserie. Last time here was around Xmas , now back again and happy to see menu changes a bit. Still delicious, Beautiful presentation and yummy cocktail (ordered Lychee Rose). Great service. I have ordered Kingfish for starter, the winner! Classic Steak Tartar for main...cannot resist this dish!. Finished with Affogato!
Food was outstanding. AJ, who served us, was very friendly and excellent. We enjoyed our dinner here. Very pram friendly too. The restaurant is located inside the hilton. I went up the lift with the pram and was there. They made space for the pram. No complaints! Everything was excellent. I enjoyed the kingfish and prawns for the entrees.
Part of the redevelopment of the Sydney Hilton. They have turned a place that was dark and slightly claustrophobic into a great eating place. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive (without being American cloying) and the food excellent.
The venue was truly impressive, with stunning decor and attentive wait staff. Our waiter Karin was so nice and friendly This restaurant ranks among the best I have ever visited. I highly recommend it. I was blown away by the incredible flavors of the food - the wagyu sirloin was cooked to perfection with a beautiful char and caramelized onions, the gnocchi was light and fluffy bursting with flavor, and the creme brulee was just the right amount of sweet and crispy on top. The truffle chips were so crispy and tasted amazing The wine selection was also impressive with a wide variety to choose from. In addition to the excellent food and drink, the staff were all incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor. I cant wait to come back and try more dishes. We were also able to enjoy a 50% discount on our meal by booking through First Tables - definitely worth checking out for more great deals on dining experiences.
Always consistent high quality food and service in an atmosphere displaying great ambience....been going there for years and will always return...
Delicious food, hard to go wrong with a really good selection. There looked like plenty of tables at lunchtime too so a good spot to walk in. Staff weren t super friendly.
Glass Brasserie team, I would like to express my disappointment over the service I had Friday 5th of May 2023. The service was extremely inattentive and even the floor manager was oblivious. Our whole table of 5 were left to sit there for ages without even a food menu, and no one came. We had to stand up twice to ask for table service. Extremely extremely disappointed with Hilton as this restaurant sits in a flagship 5 star hotel. I would not be visiting again.
The service was very poor, and the table was constantly having to ask for orders/requests several times. On 2 occasions the drinks orders came incorrectly. For a wine bar the staff were not able to provide any information on the actual wines available.. 3 of the main Steak options were not available (despite us being 8pm on a Saturday night) - we only found out that this was the case 15 minutes after we had already ordered the food. General standard of food was pretty poor for the price that was paid. Despite being a nice decor/venue. The menu was overpriced & generally a poor experience. Would not recommend.
Best place to dine for a special occasion Vegetarian options: Best vegan menu on offer Food : 5/5 |
One of my favourite fine dining places in Sydney.
The food here is expectationally good. The flavors of the food was also sensational that you cant get enough of it.The ingredients used for food are fresh so the food taste really delicious. I would definitely recommend you to try this. Parking: It depends at what time you visit.
Quite possibly the classiest brassiest glassiest place to have dinner in the CBD.
This was my first visit to Glass Brasserie with a few friends for lunch. We were attracted by an offer of lunch special for the main dishes. However, we were a bit disappointed for the limited choices of main. Anyway, the served size and quality were still OK. The desserts and coffees are good.
Vegan? Don t go here. So backward and a terrible reflection on Australia. Nothing, not one offering that wasn t a side or slop or both. Luke Mangan so yesterday and boring. Get woke or go broke bro. This sucked so bad. Shame.
Great food, great environment, service A1
My shortest review to date - this is by far the best restaurant in all of Sydney. The food, atmosphere, all the staff, cocktails, ambience everything.......is simply Number 1.
a little slow to serve (45 minutes) but it is a 5-star dining experience
Beautiful food and wine. Great service.
Thank you Daniela, our server Lily and the team such great care and service on our third visit. Food was fantastic tonight.
We went for the buffet breakfast. It was great . Wide and varied options. The wait staff were very alert, cleared used plates promptly . Very friendly and helpful. Great dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend this.
Good range of breakfast offerings. All the usual items you would expect, presented and prepared well. There was a hot buffet, salad bar, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, eggs to order, and barista coffee. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.
Unbiased review. Went for degustation 5 course meal for 3 people. The Pan Seared Scallops & Hiramasa Kingfish Sashimi, Black Angus beef fillet MB2+ was the highlight of the night. The rest of meal was mediocre. Asked for Chicken parfait and the waiter was clueless. After asking the third time then he realised what we wanted. Nevertheless The Glass Brasserie has lost its standard. Will not be returning anytime soon.
Real quality dining and wine service. Though it was a budget work lunch, the quality of food and wine didn t disappoint. Loved the open kitchen viewing gallery high ceilings of wine display.
This time we did not enjoy it as much.
Excellent service and staff food
One of my favourite places. I always have a great experience here. The most recent time I went our waitress Lily was so accommodating and helpful. Really made the experience great. Highly recommend.
Lovely place with excellent service and a very stress-free feel. Great to relax and have a drink.
As with all visits to Glass, either alone or with my bride, service and atmosphere are what is to be expected at a non NA Hilton. I will return again with my .
Came here with my partner this evening, food was beautiful and service was exceptional! Oliver (from Paris) was our waiter and he was so very lovely and attentive! He went out of his way to ensure we received off menu peppercorn sauce. Top bloke. Will definitely be back!
Wonderful place for a meal - serves a great buffet breakfast.
A nice place for having lunch. The venue was huge but was quiet when we went. It s nicely decorated with high ceiling and wine bars. We had few entrees to share. Started with oysters and kingfish ceviche. We also had steak tartare and grilled prawns. I d recommend the oysters, very nice. Prawns wasn t bad either. For main I had wagyu steak medium rare. It was nice but the sauce lack of punch. Also there was part of my steak that chewy, couldn t cut it off perhaps tendon? Please order the truffle French fries. It was lovely. Unlike most of chips with sprinkle of truffles on top, the chips tasted like they ve been infused with truffles. Very delicious and enjoyable. I d give that 5 stars. The wine selection was a lot and our cab sav was nice companion. Our lady server was friendly, efficient and warmth with lovely smile. She made the dining experience pleasant and relaxing.
This used to be the best hotel buffet in Sydney. $50+ Nothing made fresh. Coffee never comes. Im not sure if itll ever be worth it again.
Wonderful breakfast, buffet have so many delicious choices, omelette was divine...everything was delicious, and fantastic service 5*
Sanctuary of a space, lovely high ceilings throughout
Beautiful food, incredible service. Would come here again and again. Had a wonderful time and felt very well looked after. Loved sitting by the window on the high table!
Have been going on and off for years and its still an all time favourite for fine dining. Go for the food, go back for the wine. Love it. Food
The food was great but the service was a bit disappointing. The food has amazing presentation and taste!
Famous and delicious place Sydney weekdays from 12pm to 4pm Great place to eat cheaply There is a variety of shopping nearby.
I have eaten here many times & always look forward to a night out here. Last night the food was very average. Service was good.
Nice service , Nice foods. Good for people who like to eat Italian food. As for me, I like to eat spicy food, so its not my favorite dish. But its very delicious. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is nice. I like the cocktails. And Ill come back again.
Food and service was excellent. Sadly we were sat at a table next to two drunk middle angle males. They were talking loudly and inappropriately about women they worked with and were swearing a lot.
Had an amazing time for our work Christmas Party here!
Always consistent always quality
We went there before we went to the theatre and had a steak each very chewy even the people next to us sent theirs back but we didnt have the time to wait, for the price we expected way better
Unfortunately, the food was not up to my standard, and it took a while for all the meals to come out. The set menu didnt have many options to choose from, and I had to eat vegetarian food..I was highly disappointed that there was a limited selection of meat. We were not impressed by any of the desserts either..though everything looked fancy on the menu, but when it came out on a plate, it did not satisfy our tastebuds. Its super expensive, too. It was a one-off experience, but we would not be going back there again. The service was amazing..we were well looked after by all staff members and the atmosphere along with the comfort is super friendly.. the vibe was absolutely fantastic in this place ..but as mentioned the biggest let down was the food.
It s like the hotel threw all their training staff at the restaurant only to spoil everyone s start of their day during breakfast- got my orders wrong twice in a week and the front desk was clueless half the time This is my third stay in the hotel and it s only getting worse every time
Worth having breakfast here. Delicious food
Amazing food. The steak is always top notch and cooked to perfection. All of the food is perfectly prepared and the staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. Glass is my equal favourite restaurant in the country.
My favorite restaurant in Sydney. Food was great and so as the customer service.
Sheer variety of food.
Just a fantastic evening all round.
Requested an entrees dish to be served as a main. Was told yes no problem. W as served entrees size. Meal was taken away and then brought back some 5 minutes later, cold with the explanation that this selection is not available as a Main meal. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Apologies but no compensation for their mistake. Really Hilton.....you need to smarten your game.
Amazing service and delicious food
Excellent!
Quality seems to have dropped since the last visit (3 years ago) Tartare was great Gnocchi was firm/Doughy and not pillowy soft Fish was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and the skin was crispy.
The two staff who served food and attended our table are amazing. Great food, and wine.
Awesome venue, beautiful decor, attentive waiters and waitresses. We have the best service with a group of 9. We ordered 3 course meal and the food was amazing. Even kids meal was a hit. It s one of the best restaurants I have been. Well done and highly recommended.
Its a shame that a stellar, well known brand such as the Hilton struggles with big groups (couldnt cook a steak to liking) and is so unimaginative when serving gluten free desserts. Atmosphere and service - well done menu selections - do better.
Went to Glass for a drunk at the bar on Friday evening. As usual the room and the service was top of the line. Recommended
Great service Luke came by for a quick hello
Wonderful choice for a special birthday celebration. Food spectacular & service attentive , professional yet friendly. Even the teens were impressed! 1 enjoying the duck ravioli & the younger 1 WA scallops! Thankyou for a lovely evening. Marilyn Kid-friendliness: Teens chose to eat from adult menu. Gluten free options were available & youngest teen ws impressed with her mini bread loaf.
Best Buffet breakfast in the CBD, walk ins get a discount. This is great food at an excellent price.
Just went for a drink at the bar with 2 friends - lovely room and service.
