Ordered from Made in Italy for a work function and everything went according to plan even though it was organised in a very short notice! Pizzas were delivered early and they were delicious! Vegetarian options: The vegan and vegetarian pizzas were delicious Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Definitely caters to all dietary requirements.

Awful branch. Tried to order (in person) something to-go at 9:05 (they close at 9:30), they were having none of it. Ive worked in customer service, I get it, we all wanna go home... but you still take orders until youre CLOSED, GUYS. COME. ON. Went to another branch.. no problem. This one, USELESS.

Its a thin dough with a lot of toppings, so its absolutely delicious. I was disappointed that I went late in the schedule. It seems like a reasonable price for Sydneys prices. The salad is so so so haha. Pizza pasta recommended!

As soon as I entered the alley, the scent of pizza filled me. The dough was thin and it was very delicious. I highly recommend storing it in the refrigerator at the bottle shop in advance and taking it out when youre hungry at night!! it is delicious!!

This was really a fantastic pizza I was really pleased eating this and would highly recommend because the staff were great and my food came out early only a 5 minute wait. Overall very nice food.

I got completely let down by them. Placed a catering order on Monday for Thursday afternoon. Thursday afternoon came and went and the order never came, despite me getting two email confirmations saying the order was confirmed. Worst of all there was absolutely no way to contact them...I had to call the Annandale store to get someone to contact the CBD store. The store owner or manager rang me around 4:40 (40 minutes after our order was due to arrive) and offered to get something to us but by that time we had to order Uber Eats instead. I gave 2 stars because he did offer a discount on a future order, but also told me he would find out what happened and explain why, which never happened. Very disappointing so unfortunately I absolutely do not recommend them for catering.

Despite my specific request to mark the Vegetarian and vegan ones and mention what is what, you sent me blank boxes all looking the same. Vegetarians and Vegans at my office lunch were very hesitant to eat anything without knowing. It was a disaster. Shame!!

Came here with my girlfriend on Friday night and rang to book a table last minute. Thankfully we were able to book a table at such short notice of about 20 minutes. The food was beyond amazing. Would definitely recommend the lamb ragu. Hands down best Italian Ive had in a very very long time.

This place rules! We found it by luck, walking in when they opened at five, and ended up staying for hours. Pizza and tiramisu were first rate. Met the owners who were thrilled to talk about plans for expansion. Staff seemed to be treated like part of the family, which warms my heart as someone who knows the biz. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The service from the hot lady with short black hair was great. Helped us out with a pepperoni anchovy pizza and garlic bread.

We were just staying about a minute away in a hotel near by and stumbled across this hidden gem! Pizza was so delicious, loved the wood fired flavours, very authentic tasting and cabonara pasta was so creamy, garlicy & al dente just PERFECTTT! Highly recommend this place if your looking for Italian food true to its authenticity 10/10, very friendly staff too!!

When you get comments like dont film me Im not citizen followed by passionate finger gesticulations, you know this place is legit. The place is hidden in an alley, you know youre near by when you see the iconic Velvet Underground sign... hold yourself from paying g patronage and follow your nose to the source of freshly oven baked pizza. Pick anything, its all good. My only criticism would be to add a bit more moisture on the potato pizza, even a bit of olive oil and chilli flakes on the side for us to lather on after its cooked. Oh yeah, let it cool down too. Its fresh and hot out of the oven... duh! Must get: calabrese with the anchovies

Excellent pizza. Between 5 and 6 p.m. they have Happy Hour with Peroni beer for $6 and medium pizzas for $16. Excellent service and flavor. I will return without a doubt!!

Great place to pull up a milk-crate in the alleyway and grab a traditional style takeaway pizza. Pizzas are very tasty with a crispy base and just the right amount of toppings. They also do pastas and salads. Try the Next Door restaurant if you want to have a drink at the bar and eat in. The Made in Italy pizza kitchen serves the restaurant.

I ve been coming here for over 10 years since the original takeaway store in Pyrmont, this is my favourite place for pizza in Sydney!

Was looking for some takeout food for a Festival at Barangaroo Reserve. Found this really cool alleyway City-vibe takeout pizza joint just next to Wynyard Station on Maps. It was super easy and convenient. They made really nice pizza that was so authentic and I liked the options they had available. This is a place to put on my list to go back to as it was quick, easy, convenient and I can also supported local and independent business.

The other Google reviews dont lie. This place was great! In town on business and was looking for somewhere to get a good pizza and luckily this was right around the corner from yhe Fullerton hotel. Greeted with a smiling face, ordering was simple and the menu uncomplicated. Its tucked away in a laneway with a few stools and a table. Or was busy but my single pizza made fresh to order was done in 15 minutes or so. It did not disappoint, it was fantastic. Nothing pretentious, nothing fake just great food and rather reasonable prices. I will be back tomorrow night before i head home. There is a bar/restaurant next door that these guys service, so if youre into sitting down to a drink and enjoying some great Italian food then thatd be ideal. Simple food done well. Great job guys! Called up at 8.55pm, they refused to make a pizza for pickup. The website and Google clearly states the Sydney CBD store closes at 9.30pm. Ridiculous.

On a fine summers evening, I was looking for some late night, tantalizingly mouth-watering pizza with a friend, especially after some appetizing buttery croisant cocktails in Sydney. The night was looking grim with such limited options given Sydneys reputable thriving night life. However, out comes Trina, who graciously took our half and half 15 pizza order without hesitation. Pizza was amazing. Definitely will be back, thanks to Trina Also shout out to the kitchen staff for making the pizza.

I ordered the Napoletana pasta and I give it a 3/5 stars. I broke this dish down to 3 components. Pasta, sauce and cheese. Pasta 5/5 because it was cooked to aldente. Pasta sauce 4/5 its a good quality but not authentic sugo napolitana. Cheese 1/5 parmesean cheese was used and it sticks to your teeth like anything. I eat alot of pasta but never have I ever had parmesean cheese stick to my teeth so much. Maybe it was the quailty of parmesean cheese. Who knows. So BEWARE because you will certianly need a toothpick. Other than that Im pretty happy, Im glad it wasnt mushy tastless pasta which most takeaway stores sell.

I ordered a bowl with bolognese, supposedly with beef, pork and extra ham (+4$). I got a bowl full of penne pasta with tomato sauce and minimal meat. I could have gotten more meat by getting a hot dog somewhere.

The online order messed up and so didn t realised I had to pick up my pizza but they contacted me and hung around to wait for me while I rushed to go collect it, even though it was out of hours- brilliant customer service:)) (and yummy pizza too)

It has a restaurant right next door which was extremely popular- people were queuing to get in towards the end of our meal. The medium sized gluten free pizza was extremely tasty and more than enough. My bf got a large and wished hed gone for medium instead. We would definitely visit again if we returned to Sydney.

Really nice place, a little hard to find as it wasn t among the storefronts but rather it was in an alleyway behind. There was a little area inside of a common space for dine in but the food was very good.

Randomly came across this down the alley, youll find this pizza and pasta joint. Service was good, pizza was filling and hearty thin crust. There is minimal seating available so we ordered for take away and also a bar a couple of stores down.

Pizza was delicious. It had a good amount of toppings per bite, and was not greasy. The crust was a bit thinner than what I am used to, but was good nonetheless. Would definitely recommend!

Stumbled upon these guys on a recent weekend away- Authentic, fresh, well sized & balanced Pizzas .. served from a side street hole in the wall in Sydney s CBD. Took 2 large pizzas back to our hotel - fed 3 mouths with one of them and delivered the other one up to the free sleepers in Martin Place .. go try .. we ll worth the visit and a great alternative to emptying your pockets at Darling Harbour.

Awesome lunch deal: $15 for any pizza except seafood, takeout only 1 per person. I walked a block and enjoyed it on a park bench at Wynyard Park. Default slicing of the 11 pizza is 8 slim slices. I m from Philadelphia where we like to fold our pizza, so I suggest asking for it to be sliced in 4 or 6. Delicious and fresh.

One of their many branches. It is located down a narrow alleyway making it very easy to miss. Parking is very difficult as there are no spots around but there are a few paid parking lots about 8-10 minutes walk from here. It is a take away only place but they do have seating for four people outside. Service is quick and staff are very friendly. The pizza is probably the BEST in Sydney and maybe even Australia. Even the cheesy garlic bread is mind blowing. A definite must try when having pizza cravings.

Pizzas from here are amazing! Consistently fresh, generous toppings and great flavour. Base is thin with a nice chew to it. Our workplace has ordered from here a number of times for events in the office and the pizzas are always a big hit! Keep up the great work!

So let me start by saying we are the a**holes that are ordering takeaway when the restaurants are finally able to open up. We ordered via Uber Eats with an estimated delivery time of 45 minutes. As they couldn t allocate a driver, the time kept getting pushed out to nearly two hours. We rang the restaurant to see what our options were. After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, the restaurant made our pizzas fresh and delivered them using their own staff to us within 10 minutes. We ve been customers of Made in Italy for years, and they continue to delight us.

Friendly service. Nicely done pasta sauces. Wish it were fresh pasta used but think it s dried. But still tastes good.

I ordered 25 pizzas for an event, the quality was amazing and they were delivered on time. All were labeled probably. They also have a user-friendly app which made it even easier to order. Very happy will order from there again.

What a find. Hidden away down an alley near Wynyard station. Its a very small restaurant. You can order take away from the alleyway or you can eat in. If eating in you need to order from the bar. Service was friendly. The pastas are delicious. I didnt try the Pizzas but they looked really good. Will definitely return to try these and other items on the menu. Definitely worth a visit. Back alley greatness. Weve made the pilgrimage any number of times, for everything from their garlic pizza to a pepperoni you can walk around the city.

Ordered the Milano weekly special last night and it was truly excellent. Delivered on time and hot. The pizza toppings were of high quality and the perfect amount on a crispy tasty base. We could not fault the pizza and it was very reasonably priced. I would recommend the pizza to anyone happily. Thank you Made In Italy we will order again!

Great Pizza. Have been ordering occasionally from Made in Italy (Pyrmmont, CBD, Castle Hill) since 2012 and have never been disappointed once. Seriously, the consistency in flavour, crust, quality of toppings and staff attitude is exemplary!

The pizza was alright. But the girl on the bar was not helpful or polite. She did not even offered me the menu. Just asked what you want!

On time delivery, hot pizza! Decent pizza. No complain but not much different than franchise pizza brands for 30% more. Cost of doing business in CBD. The delivery guy is awesome though. I support local businesses. It is one of the places that make Sydney CBD unique and I appreciate it.

We were walking along, looking for somewhere to get some lunch when we caught wind on this delicious Italian aroma. We followed our noses down this quiet little ally and discovered pure gold.

Pizza for lunch, great menu. There was a wait time, which is a bit inconvenient when you only have a short lunch break. Pizzas tast good and there are also plenty of other items on the menu.

Pizza really isnt Sydneys thing (coming from someone who lived in NYC for 8 years, so the bar is set pretty high!) but I love Made in Italys pizza and would have it every day if possible! The classic Americana is so so tasty - just the right amount of spice. I usually order online and its always timed so perfectly - I get there and the pizza is just being sliced and boxed. Very friendly staff and really good pizza - talking about it is making me hungry!

The pizza here is always fantastic, used to work up the road and would regularly order pick up for lunch with the team. Years later I still drop in after work for their supeme pizza and garlic bread. Love that theres dining space available too now where I can also grab a drink! Highly recommended!
