I love Social Dining! The welcome is always warm, the food and drink are delicious, and the service impeccable.

Obsessed with this place. Seriously delicious food, exceptional service and the best spot for a business meeting or a classy lunch with friends.

Food was decent. Service was shocking. Waited 1 hour and 15 mins for food.

Ive been visiting Social Dining for 15 years and the quality of the food and service is always 5 star!! Katie and the team always look after you!!

Excellent venue for lunch particularly a business or work related lunch. Comfortable and relaxed feel with quality produce and food at a reasonable price (for these days !). Katie, the maitre de / Manager, id amazing and is the heart and soul of the front of the restaurant and leads her staff well. A regular for me.

Amazing venue as it is the more private dining within the Verandah precinct. The crew was amazing. Katie, the Manager was very attentive. And the food was delicious! I have not tested a better lamb in my life! Everything was perfect!

Whats not to love. Phenomenal, delicious food, all perfectly seasoned. Cracking wine list with all your favourites. First class service, lead by Katie. Staff were helpful, efficient and full of smiles. Loved it!

We were lucky enough to have our Love Party wedding reception at Social Dining by Verandah Bar and we couldn t be happier with our decision to hold our event at this venue. From the very start, Emily and the team (a special mention also to Katie and Saskia) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and exactly what we had envisioned. The space and décor are beautiful and the layout of the venue allowed us to comfortably fit a photo booth and the musician whilst guests could still sit down, stand or dance. The musician even commented that it was his favourite reception venue so far! The canapes and drinks were absolutely delicious and Social catered perfectly for everyone s dietary needs. The guests are still making endless comments about the fantastic venue, the friendly staff and the quality of the food. We cannot speak highly enough about Social and wouldn t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect area to hold any type of event. I helped my friend plan her wedding and we relied on reviews from others on venues so hopefully this helps others too! We looked at Social Dining for the reception and it was the last venue on our list to look at.. it turns out, we had saved the best for last. My friend wanted a cocktail style reception for 110 people and this was the perfect venue. From planning to delivery, the staff and customer service was incredible (thank you Emily and Katie!) and we knew we were in good hands. The venue itself has an island bar (service was quick) and great decor.. we barely needed to add any decoration of our own. Food and drink were great too! Any requests were welcome and accommodated, and response time to queries were answered efficiently. I highly recommend this venue for a Sydney CBD wedding reception.. so much fun and enough room for groups to have their own pockets of space in the one room. 10/10!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Booked a business lunch for 6 ppl here at short notice. Katie was very accomodating when I called and warm in welcoming us when we arrived. Venue and atmosphere was very nice, food was fantastic and service was excellent, what more can you ask for. We had a great time so will be recommending to my peers to come here again.

Great place for corporate events!

From the moment my daughter and I walked in we were warmly welcomed. Plenty of space for the pram too. Staff were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable of both food and wine menus. Both of which were very good indeed. We shall return Im sure. Its always nice to sit and relax and not feel rushed. Thank you Ladies.

That slow cooked beef special! In the dead of winter, it doesnt get any better than that! Update: Had the steak tartare this time, with a 2014 Majella Cab Sav... outstanding as always, and the service is excellent!

Brilliant food and service

Very nice place. The staff were very nice as well. There was a lot of noise from outside and generally acoustics can make talking difficult for some people.

Beautiful restaurant, I ordered the BBQ King prawns yesterday and I d assume it usually came in 3, because I was with my family of four, they gave us and extra! Excellent service, high class services and superb atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

My husband and I recently held our wedding reception at Social at Verandah, and it was quite possibly the best party we have every been to. Our family and friends are still talking about it and are all planning to return for dinner and drinks! Maddy and Katie did an amazing job organising and hosting us. They are both very professional but also incredibly warm people which made the planning so easy and stress free. The space is gorgeous, the food and drinks were so amazing and everyone left well satisfied. The staff were all lovely and accomodating and we could tell everyone there was committed to us and our guests having the best time! We also planned it super last minute but it all went so smoothly, there was no stress at all. I cant recommend Social at Verandah enough for your next function or event (or even just dinner)!

I enjoyed the weekly Fine Dine for $39 which was bbq Pork Scotch accompanied by a glass of 2017 Geoff Merrill Pimpala Rd Shiraz. All of which was devine. Kate and the team are delightful and made me feel very special as I celebrated my birthday. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you

The food is really good with a good ambience. It is less busy than the bar and a great place for a catchup. The staff is very helpful and suggest good options for food based on your liking.Highly recommend this place.

Had a fantastic lunch with excellent service - Katie was lovely and really looked after us well. I had the vegetarian starter and main, and heavenly dessert, all of which were absolutely delicious. Best meal Ive had in a long time and will definitely go again!

If you are looking for great quality dining, and a buzzy lunchtime vibe then look no further. Verandah Bar and Restaurant is my favourite restaurant in Sydney right now. It offers outstanding food, service and the value is amazing. With fantastic cocktails and delicious wines to match each course. I can highly recommend.

Have dined here many times and found the ambience and meals most enjoyable. Experienced staff with excellent customer service skills and great food. My dining companion experienced a medical emergency today at lunch and the care and concern from everyone involved was really outstanding.

The staff and food are incredible! A rare, hidden gem for casual fine dining. Much quieter than the adjacent Verandah Bar. A relaxed throwback vibe with an excellent wine list and seasonal menu rotation.

Good venue in heart of Sydney CBD

I have dined at Social at Verandah on a few occasions and I would have to say it is one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney. The food is phenomenal and the service is outstanding. Highly recommend.

We had our Valentines Day lunch there after not going there for a few years before the new renovations. Great to see two old staff members who were so happy to see my husband and myself. The food was superb and enjoyed the new look. We will definitely be going back and back there. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
