Maydanoz is an Aegean Turkish coast inspired bar/restaurant paying homage to regions vegetarian and olive oil driven casual meze bars. Managed by the team behind Efendy and Anason, Maydanoz is located in the middle of the revitalised Sydney CBD. The menu is based on produce driven delights of Aegean region of Turkey, rich in culture and variety of the produce, dairy, fish and lamb. Most of the dishes are prepared ‘zeytinyagli’ style, olive oil poached vegetables served as part of a drinking feast. Imagine dolmas, sarmas and seasonal vegetables with plenty of fresh herbs of the area. Most of the dishes are served meze style in small plates to be shared with some drinks from our bar.
This was an amazing dining experience. All of the food and drinks were absolutely wonderful. The service was spectacular, I’ll have to mention our waiter Ayeden, I think that is the correct name, she was so kind and really thoughtful. Would recommend this place to anyone that visits Sydney. Everything on the menu is good and well thought out. 5/5
There were layers of flavours in all our dishes, the staff could not be more helpful and the cocktails were delicious and refreshing. We are definitely returning to try their other dishes. Thank you to all the staff that made our night amazing.
Lovely food and friendly attentive service. We started off with the stone baked bread with aegean olive oil along with Whipped feta, pistachios, sweet & sour grapes, basil, dill. For our mains we had the Leek, eggplant & mushroom XO, macadamia, and artichoke cream. For drinks we had Prosecco and Smokey Seduction cocktail. We finished with dessert of kunefe with Kadaifi, Cow’s milk mozzarella, golden syrup, pistachio and Turkish tea with apple, cinnamon and star anise. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.
(4.5 stars) In between booking and dining, Maydanoz Sydney made the jump from being mostly plant-based, to putting out a fully omnivorous Turkish menu. Serendipitously, the vegetarian diner I was bringing had made a similar conversion, so we kicked off our coastal Aegean feast with mussels dolma ($10/each): logs of aromatic rice topped with plump mussels nestled in sea grapes, radish and the namesake parsley. Don’t worry, the vibrant, vegetable-focused dishes—like the famous mint and dill-topped whipped feta ($32) with sweet and sour grapes and pistachios—still remain. It’s just now you can accompany them with the meat’n’bread Turkish dishes you know and love, like pideli kebap ($$48), where tender beef kulbasti is served on Turkish croutons with lashings of roasted tomato and creamy yoghurt. It also means you can eat your grilled zucchini ($25) and dill yogurt spiked with pastirma and sucuk oil. Hedge your bets by assembling a shared meal of semi-sweet skewers of wood-fired oyster mushrooms ($38) glazed in tamarind and smoky isot juxtaposed with hunkar begendi ($44): an Ottoman dish teaming eggplant and lamb. For the Turkish diner in my party, most of these dishes are like contemporary renditions of her familiar favourites: “the flavours are all there.” While the Brussels sprouts, babaghanoush, pistachio and chilli butter ($28) combo. that inspired my booking wasn’t quite as well executed as it was in the hands of Efendy Group Executive Chef, Arman Uz at Anason Sydney, the barbequed Tilba halloumi ($14/each) made up for it. Brushed with honey-and-rosemary-oil, they’re served on heated grills to keep the cheese soft and creamy. Try it sandwiched in a pinch of the stone-baked bread ($14) or let it ease the heat of chilli charcoal-seared chicken ($32) with bulgur pilaf. Don’t be put off by the glossy big end of town location. While the gold-and-marble-accented dining room and backlit bar does feel fancy, on a Friday night it wasn’t rammed with suits as so many of its Wynyard neighbours were. Value on the mostly Turkish and Australian wine list was hard to locate, but the 2023 Yayoi ‘Vallee of the Kings’ chenin blanc ($90) drank like a quality drop at a reasonable price. With Maydanoz, Somer Sivrioglu has given us the chance to experience another face of Turkey, beyond the glorious lamb kebap, without leaving Sydney.
I recently visited this modern Turkish restaurant with my friend who is vegetarian and lactose intolerant. We appreciated the variety of dietary options, making it easy for everyone to find something suitable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. They’ve recently introduced meat proteins, adding more variety to their menu. We chose the feast menu at $79 per person, which is quite reasonable considering that most Sydney restaurants charge more. The dishes were beautifully presented, and my favorite starter was the 'cacik', a coconut yogurt dip that paired perfectly with their stone-baked bread. It was refreshing and had a well-balanced mix of flavors with the grilled cucumber, dill, and mint. I could eat it every day! I also added their signature barbecue halloumi, which I highly recommend. The thyme honey coating was a delicious touch. The mains, unfortunately, were a bit of a letdown as we found them too salty. Otherwise, my top pick would have been the 'piyaz' which is the white beans with edamame. For dessert, I had the kunefe, which was amazing, crispy, buttery, cheesy, and gooey all at once. However, my friend’s lactose-free dessert, a chocolate caramel tart, was quite disappointing. Something seemed off about the caramel center, as it tasted like oxidised apple, not sure if it was made with apple sauce. We only managed a bite before deciding to leave it, as the taste was very unpleasant. I hope they can improve this dessert. Overall, I still recommend the restaurant for their unique starters and variety of options, and I look forward to trying more dishes on another visit.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this Turkish restaurant. The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, and the service was excellent. The desserts were absolutely amazing—definitely a must-try! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Turkish cuisine in Sydney.
My family and I visited Maydanoz on Saturday night and opted for the feast menu which we found to be extremely good value. Everything was delicious and creative, especially the vegetarian dishes, all made with high-quality ingredients. The food and drinks were exceptional and the service was warm and friendly. Our favourite dish was the quail egg toast, which was both unique and flavourful. We can't wait to come back.
This restaurant is mainly vegetarian with three other dishes that are seafood. The pistachio feta dip was so “Yummy”. We choose the bread as our option to use with the tip but you can use other dishes. Then we had the Leek dish and Kingfish dish as a shared main meal. And also had a dessert to share, the top of the list on the dessert menu. The service was friendly and lots of smiles. They got a tip from both of us. The ambience was good as you can sit at the bar and eat and watch the barman if you choose. We both agreed we would come back. A great night out. The only thing I wish there was more on the plate but that’s fine dining for you. Not over filling you.
Lovely place, super friendly staff and nice vibe.
Food was exceptional, and the service was wonderful
We had a truly special dinner here for our daughters 21st birthday. The food was totally delicious, taking Turkish food to a new level. Another plus was the amazing atmosphere which worked well even for our larger group. We also really loved the service, especially from our amazing British waitress, who went above and beyond to be friendly and make sure we had a fantastic night!
A fabulous restaurant in the CBD. The food, service and ambience are outstanding and the staff a delight.
Caught up with a friend for dinner Friday night. Really delicious food. Whilst google suggests vegetarian, they have a small selection of fish and other protein. We had a grilled chicken with pickles, rice and roasted tomatoes, Brussel sprouts with a purée underneath and the Turkish bread. We LOVED the Brussel sprouts and the purée! The grilled chicken was tender and flavourful and a good sized serve. The Turkish bread was soooo good. We weren t a fan of the smoked butter that accompanied it which was actually a bit sweet. The Turkish bread was so good, it didn t really need anything fancy and confess we dipped it into the purée under the Brussel sprouts! The apple tea at the end of the meal was also amazing! Service was pleasant. It was lovely to sit outside on a warm night. Thank you for a really enjoyable evening. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dishes
Absolutely delicious food, welcoming staff and excellent value for money - Ill definitely be back! Thank you! x
Delectable food!
While watching Somer Chef on TV, Ill be honest, I found him arrogant. I appreciated Sydney Parsley after visiting it. Food comments are just like what he tries to instill in young people in the program. The atmosphere is super. I feel lucky to have visited Parsley when I came to make THYs first flight from Sydney after many years. Good luck
It was a wonderful experience, we loved everything we ate.
We had a wonderful experience at this Turkish restaurant! We ordered the zucchini salad, grilled halloumi, and the beef kebab, which was absolutely amazing the highlight of the meal and a must-try for anyone looking for authentic Turkish flavors. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic Turkish dining experience.
We had a wonderful time - the food is fantastic and we love the fact you have Turkish wines available. My favourites were the Kadinbudu Kofte, Whipped Feta and Piyaz. The service was super friendly even if it started off a bit slow to get water and drinks to the table. Even so, we will definitely be back again. Vegetarian options: Almost all of the menu is vegetarian and the food is inventive and incredibly tasty Dietary restrictions: I am gluten intolerant and more than half the menu is available gluten free, and to go with the dips, they serve beautiful fresh baby cos leaves and cucumbers
It was the best cocktail I ve ever had ! Thank you to the bartender and the entire team. Great atmosphere and excellent service Definitely give it a try!
Exquisite food! Interesting and perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented fare. One of our favorite restaurants we visited while living in Sydney for a month. Read on for a very detailed review of what we ordered and some tips. Oh, and don t miss out on the happy hour food and drink specials! More info below. We had read about this restaurant, and it was on our list, but it was not until it was pouring rain one day and our plans for walking around town were canceled that we had to pivot and eat somewhere nearby. I thought we would have to take a ride to something on our list, but instead we were standing a couple of blocks from this place on our list! How fortuitous! And, even though we were not planning on eating dinner that early, we had not eaten a big lunch, so we ducked in and discovered the happy hour specials and then just continued having dinner. I imagine it would be difficult to get a reservation, but since we ate at such an odd time, probably around 4 PM, the place was virtually empty. Good for us! Here is a breakdown of what we had. Bread (happy hour menu). This was crunchy perfection on the outside with a soft inside! It paired beautifully with the feta. Whipped Feta with pistachio (happy hour menu) but also featured grapes. And the dill was really interesting in it. Certainly, it says dill on the menu, but the flavor combination was unexpected. The hunkar begendi (the smoked eggplant puree with a lamb loin). The eggplant alone was extraordinary! The leek eggplant macadamia dish. A beautifully-plated colorful dish, served with a mushroom eggplant XO. (The restaurant clearly knows their way around eggplant). I could bathe in the artichoke cream and macadamia nuts. This was also sublime. Tilba haloumi served with thyme honey at the table on a hot mini-stove. Halloumi seems to be everywhere. It s very good, but when the server told us it was a really big seller, I expected something more exquisite. But that s not really the star here. Good But some of the other dishes were so much more beautiful, that I was surprised that this was one of their big sellers. Perhaps halloumi is not that popular yet in Australia, but it s just everywhere in the states. Certainly, the treatment of it was interesting. How it was served at the table on the little grated stove. But some of the other menu elements wowed me far more than the halloumi did, although it was a good version. We paired the food with a beautiful glass of Sevilen 900 Cabernet. This was an outstanding Turkish wine. I had not tried Turkish wine before, having lived on the West Coast for 10 years, but I was completely enchanted by this wine. The server did a great job of recommending it. It was just a very straightforward drinkable red. We also had other drinks. A couple of margaritas, a vodka drink. They were pretty standard, but they were on the happy hour menu, so they were a great deal.
Nice ambiance and decent food.
Scrumptious food and lovely ambience.
We find restaurants based on reviews. This one looked great! While booking I saw that their website offered BYO on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Great I thought! This is a special occasion let me take a 2012 Mullineux - good food and fine wine, nothing better! Long story short the manager Zainub didn t know how to open a corked bottle of wine and she broke it in the bottle? Her attitude from the start was sorry it s an old cork and plonked the bottle back on the table. The issue was not the broken cork (although frustrating), I understand mistakes happen, but try help us with a resolution? When my partner eventually went inside to ask for a decanter or at least some sort of filter to strain the wine her reply was you bring your own wine it s your problem . Maybe someone should inform the team that they advertise bringing your own wine? Restaurant looked great sad I ll never try their food :( Decanted the bottle at home at least, delicious! :)
One of the rare places where you can find Turkish beer in Sydney
Good food, kind staff, nice vibe. Highly recommend
I had an incredible experience dining at Maydanoz! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The service was exceptional our waiter she was friendly, attentive, and guided us through their fantastic vegan selection. Thank you our wonderful waiter: Zeynep The wood-fired oyster mushroom was an absolute highlight for me! The menu offers a unique pescatarian focus with plenty of vegetarian options, making it a perfect choice for those looking for something fresh and flavorful. What really stood out was how the dishes brought a modern twist to traditional Turkish flavors. While it may not be exactly like home-style cooking, thats what makes it special everything felt innovative yet deeply rooted in Turkish cuisine. I think the creativity of the dishes is what makes Maydanoz so exciting. The meze-style dining allows you to try a bit of everything, which I highly recommend. Whether you re vegan, pescatarian, or just curious about Turkish food, Maydanoz offers something for everyone. Can t wait to return and explore more of their delicious menu! Alex and Mike Vegetarian options: All vegetarian food is so tasty
Absolute perfection!!! Took my vegetarian wife out for birthday dinner, and I (A meat eater) was absolutely blown away: Wow! It is soo easy to make meat tasty but if you find the right vegetarian dishes that is soo flavorfully and lovingly prepared, it is just on a different level - Maydanoz definitely fits into this category.
Delicious vegetarian food! I m so happy to see a restaurant that focuses on plant based food and is creative with the dishes. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic. The waitresses are lovely. I ve been twice now, first to celebrate a friend s birthday and again to celebrate my anniversary. The team have surprised me both times and I m so grateful. I ll definitely be back!
Food was amazing, every dish was so delicious and well made! Unfortunately the service wasn t as good as the food, and made the experience slightly unpleasant. Definitely need a few smiles in there! Food : 5/5
Amazing food/customer service. Unlike any turkish food i ve had before. As a pescatarian and a person with a nut allergy we were taken care of very well. Customer service top notch!! Loved it can t wait to come back
Overall, had a nice experience at Maydanoz. Wait staff were nice and friendly The food was nice with no issues overall, although it was a bit underwhelming and quite expensive for what was served. The biggest issue was the fact we were charged $20 for still water? It is cheaper to buy alcohol at that point.. unsure how this is justified.
Hi My partner and I had dinner last Saturday We had the feast option The food was very creative and I ate things that I havent eaten before The serving staff were wonderful as well It is also a great vegetarian option for dinners in the city Thanks Vanessa
good
Excellent discovery, very good food, balanced dishes and very aesthetically beautiful.
We stopped by Maydanoz during our few-day vacation in Sydney. I was worried about options as a vegetarian, but we were very pleased with this restaurant based on vegetarian and Mediterranean cuisine. Zeynep took care of us and helped us make the right choices. Thanks to her I ordered grilled zucchini with walnuts muhammara and my husband chose a kingfish. The food combinations were very good. I would have never thought that lentil kofte and nori would go so well together. We were extremely pleased and left happy.
Pescatarian (and chicken) friendly too. Great food. The sauces and combinations of flavours are spot on. Very helpful staff and lovely setting.
Beautiful food, caring service from Zainab and Justine, very pleasant atmosphere. Really enjoyed our meal!
Dont waste your time
Maydanoz has to be the best Turkish food I have ever had! My wife who is a notoriously hard restaurant meal scorer gave it 9/10 (the highest ever rating she has ever given anywhere in the world for 5 years we have been together), whereas I gave it 11/10. Service is exceptional, food is out of this world and a big shout out to Head Chef Michael and assistant Chef Fenny. Vegetarian options: The most exceptional vegetarian degustation menu I have had in Sydney full stop! Nothing anywhere else I have been even comes close. If you are a vegetarian foodie, Maydanoz in Sydney is an absolute must do.
We would like to thank the person who greeted us and took care of us throughout our time at the venue. Their knowledge of the menu and assistance in explaining and presenting the dishes, all with a friendly attitude, was much appreciated. We thank the Efendy Group for truly reflecting Turkish cuisine with Anatolian touches in Australia and providing us with a valuable time. We will definitely come again. Her ey için te ekkürler :)
It was a wonderful lunch and everything was perfect.Staff were really friendly and helpful and we were made to feel so welcome. The ambience was relaxed and comfortable. It was an intimate space, perfect for a business lunch or social occasion. I am vegan and the food was incredible. The manager was kind enough to order for us (at our request), and the selections he made were perfect and delicious. Everything was beautifully presented. We will definitely be returning and i will highly recommend to everyone. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable experience.
Yummy food, great service. Lots of vegetarian and pescatarian options. Service was exceptional, Ismail and Zeynep were very friendly and provided fantastic recommendations for us to try
Delicious food, absolutely amazing customer service, especially thank you so much to Zeinel for incredible hospitality
We went back TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW on our trip to Sydney because our experience the first night blew our minds. Nearly every dish thoroughly impressed. The folks at Maydanoz serve up a vegetarian feast with novel flavors, artistic plating, and *perfect execution. Every bite is an EXPERIENCE. Whether vegetarian or not, you will have a meal that expands your view of what food can be. I definitely recommend getting The Feast. It is an incredible value for what you get. If you can, share a barbecued halloumi and a Kadinbudu Kofte. Cocktails were *exquisite,* and our wine selections really complemented the meal. The absolute best bites from both nights: - Kadinbudu Kofte, mushroom rice lentil - Fire roasted fioretto, fava been puree, dill - Leek, eggplant & mushroom XO, macadamia, and artichoke cream Also incredible: - Cacik, coconut yoghurt, grilled cucumber, dill, mint - Cabbage kebab, harissa labna, coriander, pul biber - Barbecued halloumi, thyme honey, sesame - Brussels sprout, baba ghanoush, pistachio, chili butter When we find ourselves back in Sydney, we will absolutely return to see what theyre making in different seasons. Vegetarian options: A place to get exquisite vegetarian food that isnt simply a bunch of fake meat.
We went to this cute place for the first time in the Darling Harbor area of Sydney, which offers products mainly olive oil, appetizers, salads, boiled vegetables and appealing to vegetarians, exhibiting the culture of Turkish cuisine, you can also eat meat products and also has a bar inside. When we went, we also met the owner of the restaurant, Chef Somer, who has 3-4 restaurants in Sydney and is known by everyone in Turkey. He hosted us very well and offered us refreshments. The food was delicious as always. We bought from the set menu, tasted the extra food and left very satisfied. I see the restaurants and delicious food of Chef Somer as a chance for us in terms of Turkish cuisine. Chefs kiss! If you like vegetarian dishes this is the place for you. The staff were lovely and not too invasive, and offered great recommendations for both food and cocktails. Will definitely visit again.
The smaller sister of Anason, this restaurant is probably the best Turkish food you are likely to ever find outside Türkiye. Anybody who loves Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food styles will really enjoy the subtle flavours, the attention to detail and the incredibly fresh mainly vegetarian with a little seafood thrown in. Service is warm, genuine and you are made to feel like an honoured guest in a home. Quite a feat in this gem. Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is vegetarian, And much of this is vegan. If you have any doubt, ask the staff, they will happily assist.
We had never been here before and visited with friends. Exceptional quality for Sydney. We tried the feast for $79. Superb. The service was also excellent. The only downside was the price of wine. The mark up was excessive, 400%+ in some cases, eg $210 for a $50 Howard Park Chardonnay. Vegetarian options: Primarily vegetarian, excellent menu.
I had a truly disappointing experience right from the start due to the poor service from the waitstaff. I went with a friend who had just arrived in Australia, and from the very beginning, we noticed that we were being treated differently from the other customers. At first, we ordered margaritas, and everything seemed fine. However, when I ordered another drink, it never arrived. Even though the waitress offered me another margarita several times, she still didn t bring it when I accepted. After the third time she offered the drink and didn t bring it, I decided to say no. To make matters worse, when I asked for the bill, I was being charged for a drink I never received. The service was terrible and left a lot to be desired. Honestly, they should consider hiring professional waitstaff who are attentive and kind to all their customers.
Fantastic vegetarian meal at Maydanoz! The kofte, cabbage skewers, wood mushrooms, and brussels sprouts were highlights. Excellent Australian wines, too.
highly recommended for something different, meal is healthy and refreshing. Add halloumi is must to go with the bread. Express lunch is plenty for two
All dishes are of very high quality and delicious. The business manager is very attentive. We brought our guest. We left very satisfied.
We love all the dishes we ordered! Scrumptious and amazing!
Amazing food and service. We had the vegetarian banquet and there was so much food but all delicious. It doesnt feel like much but then you suddenly realise you are so full. The staff were so accommodating and helpful, particularly with dietary needs. Dietary restrictions: Great gluten and dairy free options. Good dietary awareness
Impeccable service and the food exceeded my expectation! Highly recommend coming here for a nice intimate dinner.
Amazing experience here! The food & service was excellent. Shout out to the waitress with the curly hair for throwing in some dessert and sourcing a candle for a special occasion! Highly recommend Maydanoz!
Enjoyed an amazing vegetarian dinner here on Saturday evening. We ate the Feast Menu which was brilliant. I (being a meat eater) added on the Kingfish kebab which was great but to be honest not needed as the vegetarian plates were so full of flavour and were really satisfying. I was quite pleased to see they actually had an option to add in some meat if wanted but again it really wasn t needed. All dishes were cooked beautifully and tasted 10/10. Atmosphere was quiet for a Saturday evening but didn t mind. Seating was nice. We sat out side and the only distraction were the buses that go by occasionally as the restaurant sits next to the Wynyard bus interchange. Overall I highly recommend and would definitely visit again .
Loved our anniversary meal here, incredible mostly vegetarian menu. We did the feast ($99 per person) and it was a filling variety of dishes. Definitely gives the fine dining vibe, service was fantastic too.
First visit and will definitely come back. I had a friend from Malaysia and wanted to take her somewhere different. We were not disappointed. Service was attentive, the waitress was helpful with explaining menu and gave us suggestions. Food was beautifully presented, delicious and fresh.
there is no single dish that we didn t enjoy Food is beyond great And the waitress is very friendly too Food : 5/5
Delicious food, and as a big meat eater I found the vegetarian options to be an absolute revelation. Fantastic.
Delicious food with great fusion of flavours. Its so great to have such a good selection of yum vegetarian dishes. I have a hunch that the staff were expecting a tip but its not customary in my books being from a small country town.
Food was bland and unenjoyable. We had a booking for 9:45, which was an option on the website. Upon reaching, we were advised that the restaurant closes at 10pm and we need to eat very quickly. We paid a $100 hold, which we would lose if we did not proceed. Hence, we had to eat very quickly. The food was disappointing. The service was really bad - we felt pressured to eat quickly, staff hovered over us, and the ?manager especially was very unpleasant. We would still rate the place well if the food was good. Overall a poor experience. Do not recommend.
Highly recommend the saganaki, octopus, fioretto, and Turkish bread with honey butter. Excellent service and Albarino
Awe, damn! Pretty good. I really enjoyed the food. My partner who is Turkish didn t rate it as highly. Although we debated this. It wasn t like home cooking but I think that s the point. Everything was delicious. So, take my word for it instead. Haha.
Their dishes are full of layers; once in your mouth, you can feel the rich and balanced flavors being released layer by layer.
The meal was outstanding, accompanied by top-notch service. I was particularly impressed by the flavorful dips, warm bread, mushroom koftes, and halloumi. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience.
We loved our dine in experience at Maydanoz! The waiter was amazing and helped us pick our vegan dishes. They had a great vegan range! Their wood fired oyster mushroom was my favourite! Definitely coming back!
Incredible gem in Sydney CBD. This Turkish vegetarian restaurant has all you can ask: beautiful location and setting, lovely staff and remarkable food. It was one of these unexpected surprises and I will 100% come back. I highly recommend the Halloumi!
Delicious! Had the feast menu, and will be back again. Great addition to the CBD
When searching for something a little different on a rainy weekend, I came across Maydanozs website. Id been looking for a place that had a blend of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and the menu looked intriguing. I booked a table on line and looked out at the steadily worsening weather, wondering if heading out for a meal was a good idea in such foul weather. Happily, it was. Even the torrential downpour that was Sydneys weather on the night didnt dampen my experience. Maydanoz has a lovely ambiance, courtesy of the location adjacent to Wynyard Park, the high ceilings, and its choice of seating styles. Since I booked online and having not seen the place before, I had played it safe and opted for indoor table seating. Upon arrival, I momentarily regretted not taking a chance and booking at the Chefs counter area, which is roomy, pristine and elevated. That being said, the table seating was very good, not too tightly packed together and of a comfortable size. The staff were lovely. In fact, the gentleman who explained the menu was not only polite, he was both thorough and very well informed indeed on the ingredients in each dish. He made the ordering that much easier. After a short space of time, the food arrived. The stone baked bread was piping hot, and delicious enough that I had to restrain myself from eating more than my fair share. If youre not sure what to try from the bite-sized portion menu, may I suggest the Kabindah Kofte? Exquisite. On a hunch, I had ordered the cacik dip, which is a coconut based, lactose free dip. I personally have no food allergies and lactose free isnt a thing for me, but this dip sounded novel. Even so, I wasnt quite sure Id chosen wisely. Happily, I stand corrected. It was extremely good. Lightly aerated, not too overpowering, refreshing enough that it went well with the flavours of basically everything that Id ordered. Woodfired oyster mushrooms and the Kingfish collar kebab for shared main meals. Both were extremely well presented, with great flavours and done to perfection. The portion size on both was quite decent, enough that we couldnt finish both. The wine menu. Simple, but still quite decent. A bottle of Kaelsers Reach for the Sky GSM rounded things out nicely, bringing out the spices in the food whilst being light enough not to overpower the meal. I passed up the desert menu, not because it didnt look similarly interesting as the main, but merely because I literally couldnt imagine fitting anything more in, much less surpassing the meal. Maydanoz is now on my list of must go back, soon choices. Highly recommended.
Beautiful place to visit for a date Great vegetarian and fish options available Wait staff was excellent and helped us with the menu Cocktails were excellent Highly recommend checking it out Perfect for a date night Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Good for vegetarian and pescatarian Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access is available might be a good idea to let them know before hand
Beautiful vibe, food was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. Will be back!
Great service and food, the staff were fantastic. Atmosphere is great! Recommend
Great food really great.
Amazing experience with the winter menu. The menu is pescatarian and all the dishes we tried were excellent. The service was very friendly, and the staff were eager to explain and help us choose the dishes. Definitely will come here again!
Incredible flavour, presentation, service. One of the best restaurants I ve been in. It is vegetarian and offers fish. I had the Kadinbudu Kofte and the Leek, eggplant & mushroom XO. If you are not vegetarian, it does not matter. You will love it.
The food tasted amazing! Very well presented! Portion sizes are too small! We spent around $200 for 2 people and still left very hungry. The staff were a bit rushed in clearing the table quickly after serving the dishes even before us finishing them. Apart from that its got a nice atmosphere but might not visit again.
Maydanoz was simply amazing. The best Turkish vegetarian I am ever had and I have travelled to Turkey. You will love love love this place! Thanks again for a great evening.
A delightful Turkish restaurant offering meze-style dining. The menu features an array of vegetarian options, providing a refreshing and lighter alternative to traditional Sydney cuisine. An exquisite culinary experience that tantalizes the taste buds with its fresh and mouthwatering flavours.
Highly recommended! The food was amazing, great ambiance and very friendly staff. Special thank you to Zeynep!
The Best Vegetarian Restaurant in Sydney
Great vegetarian restaurant! We really loved the kad nbudu köfte, it was very tasty. The main dishes were quite bland though and the portions were small, maybe that´s why they suggest to order a lot of food. Anyways, everything was good in general and the Turkish wine was delicious as well.
Everything was wonderful. Special dishes from both Turkish and Australian cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant
We were in Sydney for business and went for dinner. Outside and inside design, both are perfect. We liked the meals as well, they were delicious. Especially I recommend halomi.
We stumbled into this beautiful little restaurant on a rainy Friday night, needing a quick meal. It was so dark we couldnt even read the menu that the maître-d showed us, but he promised plenty of vegetarian options for me. We sat down and boy was he right! Nearly 80% vegetarian options but all so incredibly delicious and full of flavor, that even my meaty husband was bowled over! Lots of smoked and complex flavors, and beautifully cooked breads, fish & vegetables. We had the scrumptious Whipped feta/pistachio/mint dip and bread, the incredibly soft and delicious Haloumi, the delicate and smoky Leek, eggplant & mushroom XO, the super good Kingfish Collar Kebab, and the Kadinbudu Kofte - now that was incredible! I cannot get the amazing taste of this out of my head. The sound-proofing of the restaurant is also excellent - busy and good music playing, but you could still hear each other talk with no problem. Definitely our new favorite restaurant and so handy, right across from Wynyard Station. Oh - PS We also loved their house wine Majestik Syrah & Kalecik Karasi 2019 - smooth and delicious pairing with all these flavours. Vegetarian options: Too many to describe!
If you re looking for a memorable vegetarian dining experience Maydanoz is not be your best bet. Consider exploring other Turkish or vegetarian restaurants. We had the tasting menu that was rather bland and lacking in seasoning and freshness. The service was good, but felt rushed. Sat sown to have a cocktail to start and then 2mins later the first wine from the pairing menu appeared. So the choice was to let the wine go warm or drink it with the cocktail. Wine pairing was stingy with small pours. Overall a flavour lacking experience that wasnt worth the $320.
Loved everything! Our server was fantastic and suggested options. We are veg / vegan and it was one of the best meals weve had in Australia. Wish this place was near home because it would be a regular event. Vegetarian options: So flavorful and beautifully done.
We dined here as a couple on a Wednesday night. The atmosphere and service was outstanding. The food was just as great. We really enjoyed the halloumi, grilled artichoke and the kingfish! Will definitely be back.
This is my first time to try turkish food, and it was so gooood
today i went to this place for a first time and everything was perfect!! the food was good and also service was great,, they were so friendly so i enjoyed to being there.
Brought my parents there when they were visiting Sydney. The food is great, ambience to match too. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Great for vegetarians cause my mum is one.
manager and and both waitresses are professional - discrete, respectful and helpful. Food is 10/10 Chicken/Fish are bith excellent, but you can order anything. It all tastes wonderful. Atmosphere 10/10 You can also buy the Turkish cooking book of the owner/chef. Highly recommend. Iyi Bayramlar
Great fresh food and ambiance. Highly recommend
Exceptional food and impeccable service made for a delightful dining experience.
Visited today for the first time and had a great experience! Zeynep, the waitress that looked after me was really helpful recommending the dishes and super friendly. All the other staff are lovely too. The food is delicious and fresh. Will come back whenever I visit Sydney again. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options!
It was a wonderful dinner, a perfect place with everything.
The food was tasty and well plated. However the serves were too small and expensive.
It s really nice restaurant in Sydney. If you are travelling to Sydney. You should visit this place. Everything was really nice especially servise
Best restaurant in Sydney :)
We had an amazing dinner. Everything was unbelievably delicious. Best place to eat out with an amazing atmosphere and best staffing.
I like the concept of trying to take a spin on some turkish dishes, but some of them like the imam bay ld were completely a fail for me. It s great to not use meat but then makes it more important to create flavor in some other way, everything tasted very monotone to me. The halloumi everyone raves about is good but absolutely nothing special. The Künefe was mediocre and my highlight was literally just the apple cinnemon tea. For the prices definetly nor worth it to me.
Everything was exceptional. It is a heaven for vegans and vegetarians. They also have meat options. We ordered cauliflower with green Harissa and grilled cabbage. They went above and beyond. Künefe were excellent. Grilled oyster mushroom and kad nbudu köfte were amazongnas well.
Sensational food and service. Highly recommend the cauliflower and Kadinbudu köfte. Great cocktails and general vibes. Excellent finish with kunefe and Turkish tea/coffee!! Vegetarian options: Most menu is vegiterian Dietary restrictions: Lots of gf options
Super delicious menu - especially if you are vegetarian or vegan, and such a gorgeous interior - loved having dinner here!
Amazing food and great service. The ambience is wonderful. Do try the halloumi kebab, it was absolutely delicious.
Yummy Food! Loved it Amazing Service :) Must visit 10/10 Food : 5/5
A real treat. Food was on point and so was the service.
Had dinner here tonight and have to give top marks for the food. The whipped feta was a special favourite, but the leek, eggplant and mushroom was a close second. Its a mainly vegetarian menu with plenty of vegan options (and a couple of meat dishes) but as a meat eater myself I didnt miss it at all.
The menu is consized but amazing. Being a vegetarian this place is the best thing for me. We had 4 out of the 5 appetizers and cant fault any one. Great taste and super light for a mid work meal.
Had an early dinner with a friend here yesterday. Loved the service - our waitress was really lovely and is the reason Im writing this review! We got the haloumi with honey, stone baked bread, whipped feta, the leeks with mushroom xo and the kingfish. Everything was great - we actually over ordered and were rolling out of the restaurant by the end. Favourites were haloumi and the leek with mushroom xo (really good flavours and textures ). The kingfish was also good - it was really soft with a nice crispy skin. I would return for the food and outstanding service
Great food and lovely staff
What a beautiful Turkish delight. One of the best places for vegetarians. 10/10 for the pistachio kenefe and cabbage kebab Food : 5/5
Delicious Food in a very delightful setting. Alot of vegetarian options available. The service standards for food and service are very high. The must try s: 1. Cabbage Kebab 2. Halloumi 3. Knefeh. Thank you so much!
If i had to complain. Id say the staff are too friendly and a little too handsome.
The food was awesome. Everything was awesome. I loved the Turkish wine!
The only vegetable oriented restaurant I find very satisfied with in Sydney so far. Portion was small, but very very well curated and rich flavor. Unconventional way of using many veggies we see daily in our life and make it very delicate yet flavorful. We had spent 300$ for 2 people, had wine and raki, few appetizers and dip and few mains. Also the MUST order kunefe! The best kunefe I ve had in Sydney too. Space was very comfy and elegant, they played Turkish jazz music during our stay, pleasant and vibrant but not too hyped or heavy. Service was attentive and helpful when we had questions about serving size and flavor. It s not a cheap restaurant but thinking about all the good concept and curation stuff, thinking about its location and the space, vibe, all the delicate selection of dishes (the plates were from Turkish artists we noticed), we are happy with the money well spent, left with happy belly. I m glad it s not too crowded on a Saturday night so we got to have a nice dinner without constantly having next table loudly laughing but hope more ppl can see how they present their food and they really make meals without meat very easy to adapt to.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner here last night - our first visit. The food and service were excellent. The Kaloumi Kebab, Osster Mushrooms and Leek XO deserve special mention. This restaurant is predominantly vegetarian which suited us well given our guest is vegetarian. No complaints from the carnivores at the table though! Moments from Wynyard and other public transport options made our visit easy. Highly recommend.
We went to Maydanoz for our wedding anniversary and it didn t disappoint. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. Special mention of the halloumi and the feta dishes which were superb. Oh, and the bread, I mustn t forget to mention the bread. Go - you won t regret it.
I would highly recommend! The service was attentive, knowledgeable and non-intrusive. The food was a delicious match of taste, texture, and nutrition. You wont be disappointed.
We are so glad we found this place. Every dish was perfect. Amazing flavours, amazing presentation. Wonderful staff. Loved the halloumi, shaksuka and the bread! And the kingfish!
Really nice food and cocktails, service was good too. Bread portions were a bit small but otherwise cant complain.
The secret is in the details! Delicately thought menu and service. The coehision on the plate left a balanced flavour taste on my palleteband very friendly Food : 5/5
Amazing journey of flavours, in every bite. Everything was prepared to perfection. Thank you!
We opted for the banquet, a decision that might not have been ideal. While the dishes presented a visually appealing spread, we discovered that many of them, for our party of four, were either lacking in flavour or were overly sweet. We anticipated a diverse range of herbs and spices, but unfortunately, that expectation was not met. Nevertheless, the ambiance and service were excellent just a friendly suggestion: go easy on the honey!
Amazing Turkish food, vegetarian menu. One of the best dining experiences I ve had in Sydney!
Interesting and delicious vegetarian menu - given I m a big meat eater - loved the experience and mix of dishes. Feast platter did not disappoint
Nice interior and friendly service but the food was kinda outrageously priced for the portion sizes, soz gotta be honest but the redeeming dishes were the grilled halloumi which was sweet and disappeared very quickly. Also the knafeh was the best I ve had, fresh hot and stretchy. The falafel and eggplant and chicken dishes were gone in 3 bites because they were so TINY and the total was 200 bucks like we were SHOCKED LOL
Vegetarian food is great. There is a special menu for Valentines Day. Very suitable for couples, friends and families to gather together for dinner. Vegetarian options: The ingredients are fresh and the taste is quite distinctive. Cocktails are also very good
Incredible veg food. Host was so friendly and helpful. Halloumi and the leek dish for the win .
Super delicious modern Turkish tastes. Indeed, Chef Soner created very warm atmosfere. Restaurant manager Mr Berk is quite professional, kind to the clients.
Vegetarian options: Many tasty vegetarian options Food
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian focussed upmarket Turkish cuisine. Delicious even as a non vegetarian. Food
One of the best Turkish restaurants in the city! Four of us had the most amazing meal at Maydanoz and we are already looking forward to our next visit. The service is exceptional and the dishes were incredible. I would recommend asking the staff for recommendations based on your preferences. They were spot on for us. We will be back soon!
Delicious vegetarian food! This was maybe the best meal weve had in Sydney so far. Really interesting flavours beautiful presentation and great service. And comfortable chairs. Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options!
The chefs at Maydanoz are wizards. Fresh, healthy and delicious combinations of dishes that dance through your senses and create happiness!
The food was previously great , however the attention to detail has reduced. Tge baked haloumi was overdone , so were the stone baked breads
Absolutely the most superb veggie (near veggie actually- we had an amazing fish dish at the end) cuisine I ve had on any continent- the chef is outstanding! Get all the veggie dishes plus the fish cheeks - you will be wowed!!
This is the best Turkish restaurant i have been to in Australia. The meals are at very high standard and the waiter who served us was extremely professional and friendly. Congratulations!!
Fabulous spot. We particularly loved all the entrees & smaller dishes especially the grilled halloumi with honey
Loved the haloumi and the kunefe
Maydanoz is a beautiful restaurant with a nice range of vegetarian options. We enjoyed the Halloumi, which came out on its own mini smoking grill, the cabbage kebab with bright harissa labna, the Imam Bayildi, Stone baked bread and the Kingfish. Out of all the dishes the Halloumi and Kingfish were standouts - perfectly cooked, slight char and very satisfying. The service, whilst friendly, was slow and unfortunately it seemed the staff were struggling to serve everyone even though it was early and not full. Vegetarian options: The menu is mostly vegetarian and variety of flavours and textures
I Recently took my team from work for an end of year dinner and I must say, this restaurants predominantly vegetarian menu exceeded all expectations, Each dish showcased a meticulous blend of flavors and textures, challenging any preconceived notions about vegetarian dining. The manager s (Berk) thoughtful recommendations further enhanced our experience. The service was absolutely impeccable!
Service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious - we particularly loved the haloumi, which we all agreed was the best we had ever tasted. Lovely music and atmosphere. The restaurant was not busy, which suited us perfectly as we could hear each other easily. Would recommend. Vegetarian options: All dishes are vegetarian (not vegan)
Amazing food and great service!! Highly recommended.
Wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend it. The food was fantastic.
We had such an amazing dining experience at Maydonoz. Staff were very friendly, especially Gizem, she was very polite and answered all of our questions-very personable. We had the beetroot falafel, su boregi, cilbir quail eggs, borani, and for the mains the kingfish and the chicken bulgur pot. All of the flavours were so amazing! In particular the su boregi was VERY good! The two mains we ordered were so so yummy! For dessert we ordered the kunefe and it was delicious. Hands down one of the best dining experiences we ve had in a while-we both left extremely full and very satisfied. Thank you to all of the staff at Maydonoz!
Had a lovely celebration dinner with friends. We had a mix of the small vegetarian plates and got the fish collars to share. Each dish was fresh, delicious and with its own unique flavours. Absolutely could not eat a single thing more the serves were such a good size. Will happily recommend 100 x over! Vegetarian options: Largely vegetarian menu, all incredibly delicious!
OMG! Whats a fabulous hidden gem! We had lunch here last week and I cannot decide what was better, the amazing mouth watering food, or the incredible service. We were on the fence about which rose to order so the (I think owner) came over, explained all the wines and regions and even gave us a tasting of 3 of the wines. The food was equally as amazing, we had full vegetarian and it was super delish! The betroot tacos were a stand out! We will be back
Delicious food. We have come back twice now and will keep coming!
Great food, good service, awesome music (thats not too loud). But most importantly of all... incredibly comfy chairs!
Amazing modern Turkish cuisine. Every dish was outstanding!
Try the Halloumi and the knafeh
The chicken is AMAZING!
Amazing service and food to match! Highly recommended for your Turkish fix.
Great food and service. Halloumi is a must try. Definitely recommended.
I went here with some friends and after taking a look at the menu we werent sure if we wanted to stay as its mostly vegetarian dishes and we like our meat. But we decided to stay and Im glad we did. The food was excellent. Tried a few different dishes and they were all good. Favourite was the kingfish. Tried some Turkish wine for the first time too. Would definitely recommend this place.
The food was fantastic, congrats to the chefs, and the service amazing!! Leticia was so sweet and knowledgeable, going through the menu options with us. Such an amazing experience, will definitely come back!
First class Turkish restaurant. We loved the ambiance and design. Food was amazing. We will eat there every time we go to Sydney.
Very nice place, beautiful food.
This is awesome food and service. They the set menu it s worth the experience
It is definitely a restaurant worth trying. The food, decoration and service are definitely worth the price!
Ambience is nice and service is quite good. However, the food was not upto our expectation. It was neither tasty for the price we paid nor the quantity was adequate. Indoor seating is also very limited. And menu options are so less, I haven t seen any restaurant with only 4 non-veg main courses. Overall quite average experience.
I had a $45 wine pairing for the $98 course. The portion is too much for elderly Japanese people to eat. I was surprised by the high quality of Turkish wine. If you pay by card, a 1.5% charge is required. The Turkish coffee was too bitter.
As a Turkish, and a restaurateur, I can say this is the best Aegean cuisine in AU, I absolutely loved it! Vegetarian options: They have so many vegetarian options
Visit for a new experience. The atmosphere is good, but I feel like the value for money is not that high. Tandoori chicken is good. The price is expensive too
Excellent for an express corporate lunch!
Maydanoz is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and amazing service. Our waitress Leticia was really knowledgeable and helpful when we were choosing from the food and wine menus, and gave us such lovely service. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is really enjoyable, not to mention the delicious food which left my partner and I excited to return! I would highly recommend dining in at Maydanoz!
Wonderful lunch with work colleagues, the food was exceptional and the service couldn t be faulted. They accommodated our last minute needs without any fuss at all. We had the express lunch deal and there was more than enough for all of us. The Turkish wines were great as well. Definitely coming back.
Vegetarian options: Great Food! The spinach dip, fava with chick peas and the lentil kofte had great flavours. I m not a vegetarian so had the Tencere style chicken too. Enjoyed lunch so much we went back two weeks later for the Express Lunch- great value! Very easy location, just at Wynyard train station, close to buses and light rail.
Unique Med flavours and food presentation. Portion sizes a touch small for the price
Absolutely excellent.
We picked this restaurant based on Google reviews and it didnt dissapoint! The food was glorious. Every bite tasted better than the last. We recommend the beetroot falafel, halloumi, and the coconut dessert with raspberry sorbet.
Absolutely amazing vege friendly food. Original recipes raising humble ingredients to fine food
An alternate take on Turkish cuisine. Offering mainly vegetarian food this place is intent on showcasing the variety of Turkish food outside of the ubiquitous kebab. The portions are overly generous and precluded us from ordering any desert which was probably our great loss. The seating is comfortable and well spaced both indoors and out. Our Monday lunchtime was very quiet which negatively impacted the atmosphere score. Service was really pleasant and friendly, happily offering advice and explanation. Great selection of Turkish wine by the glass. Make sure you ask for the apple tea, its like drinking perfume.
Haute cuisine vegetarian fare, with fun combinations and soaring flavours. The ambience is a bit stiff and serious, but if it s fabulous food you re after give this a go.
Superior, cosmopolitan, contemporary Turkish food, similar in quality to Anason. Will be a Sydney favorite for CBD business lunches in no time, sure to impress your GenX and Millennial clients and staff. Very vegetable focused but wonderful delivery and satisfying. We had the express lunch and added chicken, it came out to under 200 for three people - three and a half course including wine. Not cheap but excellent value for money considering the very high quality. RECOMMEND.
We came here for lunch on a work day and had the lunch special deal - $49 per person. It was great value and the food was amazing! As many other reviewers had pointed out, the menu was skewed vegetarian, but the food was full of flavours and the meat dish (chicken in our case) was so delicious. Beautiful restaurant and great location too.
Vegetarian options: My husband and I recently dined at Maydonoz and the food was absolutely delicious. We loved every single dish we had (and we tried a few). We decided to give this place a go because I m vegetarian and read lots of positive reviews and the food and service did not disappoint! It was so refreshing to see a menu with so many vegetarian options as I usually have 1or maximum 2 items to choose from at other restaurants. My husband who is non vegetarian equally enjoyed the food. We will definitely be back in the future.
Food was great, loved the knafeh too!
Nice food, friendly servers. Maybe the heaters could be more spread out on both sides of the tables. Overall experience is great!
Amazingly good food, ordered by a cousin in consultation with the staff, shared with all of the diners. Arrive hungry! A great discovery, well worth a visit and I will return.
Had a wonderful dining experience - great service, food and location
Went with 4 people last year and the food was amazing. Now were trying to book a table for 9, and the website forces us to book for a banquet at $98 +10% per head, which is double what we expected to spend. Tried calling them 12 times and left 2 messages over 2 days, no response. Gone elsewhere now, thats just not good enough.
Perfect!
One of the yummiest Turkish food. Love the flavouring. You can tell the food get prepared in a special way with lots of love. friendly staff who are very passionate what they do. I cant wait to come back.
food was delicious, exceptional dishes of greens. Zeynap was our server, she was exceptional.
Great food with great ambience and we felt warmly welcomed by Tammy who even checked on us to see if we were enjoying our meal. Service was timely and smooth. Zeynep ensured the kitchen team was updated with dietary requirements and they accommodated our needs accordingly. Ulku elaborated on the ingredients of each dish with great detail and checked on us multiple times. We loved our time at Maydanoz
So many great dishes but the highlights were the beetroot Falafel, leek and the knafe dessert
Got the tasting for two. A few knockout dishes filled with average courses. Admittedly I was trying to fight off some jetlag, but a few of the courses were a little too far spaced out. Seemed like a slow night. Cant say Im an expert of Turkish food, but I would have liked a little less of the fine dining and a tinge more of the mothers home cooking.
I visited Sydney for travel with my family. i searched mant google reviews for having dinner place, and find this lovely restaurant. I feel very lucky to find this place !! Foods were excellent and lovely atmosphere. Service was also warm and kind.
Amazing vegetarian food, one of the best Turkish restaurants out there.
The best vegetarian restaurant in Sydney. Food was great and service was so attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back. Food : 5/5
Amazing vegetarian focused food
Delicious vegetarian food - the feast menu was enormous and very filling!
Had such a wonderful time! Service and food were incredible. Really impressed :)
Maydanoz Sydney is a great restaurant with friendly service, a good selection of beer and wine, and a delicious but very limited menu Food: The food at Maydanoz is delicious and well-prepared. The menu features a variety of small Turkish dishes. Service: The service at Maydanoz is friendly and attentive. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and can make recommendations based on your preferences. Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Maydanoz is relaxed and inviting. The restaurant is decorated with warm colours and has a cozy feel. The music is not too loud, and it is easy to have a conversation with your friends. Value: The prices at Maydanoz are a bit on the high side. The menu is limited, especially if you want to share plates or if youre looking for a larger meal, so you ended ordering a lot of small dishes.
Grea meal and very friendly service. We got a bunch of different items from the menu to share. Our favorite was probably the chicken and haloumi. They also have a great drinks list with lots of options. We came for an early dinner but it was packed with people just grabbings drinks. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options
We were a group of 4 friends for an Xmas luncheon. We sat at a table at first that was far too small for 4 & shared plates, but we moved after a mishap with a glass. The service was very good even allowing us to taste the wine before selecting - good strategy as we picked the more expensive. The food was filling, but for the price it should be. I particularly liked the 2 dips with bread & the kingfish. The cauliflower was a bit too charred. The presentation was very pleasing. They did not pressure us to leave as happy hour kicks in at 3pm.
Food & cocktails were incredible 10/10! Manager was so super helpful with recommendations! Cannot wait to come back again soon!
It was recommended to us and we didn t regret it! Excellent presentation, tastes really nice, similar to Greek cuisine, service was cool. We would preferred a music close to Anatolia sounds and not hip hop but this is not o major issue. Make sure that you will leave space for the Knafeh dessert, sooo delicious
Unbelievable
This place, which is located close to the center, served us and helped us even though there were 15 minutes left for lunch service to end. The blonde Australian lady who served us was very friendly, I thank her. Everything he recommended was delicious. The fish was not to our taste, but other than that, everything we tried was delicious. The chicken dish was very filling and plentiful, you can easily feed two people by purchasing a side dish. Definitely try the halloumi cheese! Vegetarian options: Except for two main courses, almost everything is suitable for vegetarians. Parking: I dont recommend you go by car.
