We go here once a week for breakfast and have been doing so for a long time. There have been a lot of negative reviews lately that seem to be motivated by recent staffing changes. The restaurant is a lot quieter in the morning than it used to be and we hope it survives this transition period. Regarding the food and service, it has remained consistently good. Attentive and kind staff, clean environment, and good food. Recommend.
Stopped in at my favorite restaurant and didn't recognize anyone in the 2 weeks since i was there last there has been a major change in Waite staff. I asked the new waitress what happened, and she tried to bullshit me. I told her i was going to go, and when she asked why, i said i was loyal to the staff and not the restaurant. I overhead her tell another member of the new staff what i said and then said we don't need that kind of business anyway. I am happy to oblige.
Busy on Sunday mornings but seems to be the in spot for the locals and always a good sign when picking a restaurant Stop here when you visit Tecumseh for breakfast or lunch. My guess is the service is better. Think it was a new waitress that was unsure of her self but sweet. It's just around the corner from the main road and makes for a nice walk in town
Judy B was an amazing server. She made our experience fantastic. Even wirh the place being extremely busy on a Sunday morning we never felt rushed. Actually it was the exact opposite. We felt very welcome. The food was better than expected as well. Will definitely come back if we are in the area.
Friendliest staff! Food consistently great. We always look forward to coming here. We come a couple times a week from Dundee. Very reasonably priced. Not one negative thing to say.

Excellent service, restaurant reminds me of an upscale coney island with reasonable prices. The food was simple yet good. About what you would expect but with phenominal staff. (Kiddos loved the Mickey pancakes with whipped cream) I had the mushroom Swiss, and my 17 year old had the bacon cheeseburger) We will certainly be back when we are in the area.

Took 20 minutes to get our drink order and a menu. Waited over an hour for the food only to find out that the order was never put in. Place was empty, extremely confused about the poor service. Got Wendy s takeout instead.
Orderd to go and the food was terrible. French toast was under cooked, hardly any gravy was put on the biskets and gravy, sausage links were cold. I used to love this place but to pay $30 for breakfast and have it be this bad is unacceptable. I cant imagine being a cook in a restaurant and just throwing crap together without any care. Take a little pride in what you are sending out of the kitchen!

New management, we moved our group to Big Boy. Prices shot up paid $18 for omelette and coffee. Played load country radio with ads.
Not sure whats going on lately, but this isnt as good as it once was. The wait for food is quite long.
First time there and wasnt impressed. My and my wifes breakfast had no taste. The server was okay. We were given our bill no sooner than we got our food.
Waitress ignored my to go request so I called in my request from my table and order was STILL not ready after 15 minutes. Waitress kept ignoring me!! Never going back.
This place needs to get its crap together or they wont be around much longer. Recent reviews speak for themselves.

This place is a dump. The food is terrible. Not going back there. Ive never seen an owner yelling at his employees like that. Probably why most of the cooks and waitresses quit. Even Judy the manager quit Food

Food was delicious and nice portion sizes. Service was good until the check was delivered then no more drink refills, despite a request for more water.
It s an early September morning and the temperature outside was 68 degrees. The temperature inside the diner was colder than that. My breakfast was served hot but within a couple of minutes, my eggs were cold. The tip of my nose was cold and I was shivering. Despite moving away from the air vent I was still cold. A few other diners didn t even take off their jackets. I told the manager but it didn t seem that she genuinely cared as she gave me a brush-off excuse.
1st time there, good food, great service and what you would expect at a family dining restaurant. We went for brunch. I would definitely stop in again. Parking: Alot of parking no issues.

Slow as hell after 2pm the wait staff is terrible spent my lunch waiting for food so not sure if its a combination of the slow wait staff or the cooks

Tried this cute looking dinner with my kids since we were in the area. It was busy but NOT THAT busy..we were taken to a table in the back corner, the table was just cleaned off and the young lady that sat us there barely said a word to us. She handed me sticky menus and walked away. The server that brought us our food and drinks was nicer and took her time as we have never been here before. My children ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and the Mikey mouse pancakes. I ordered the recommended garden skillet but unfortunately did not receive the eggs nor the toast or pancake that comes along with it according to the menu. My childrens pancakes had no flavors, seemed a bit on the dryer side and almost rubbery (they ate because they were hungry) well and my skillet besides missing a few items tasted like the cheap mixed vegetable bag you buy frozen at Walmart. Sadly we will not ever be returning..
The Diner has great good, have never had anything I didnt like! Fish and chips as pictured today (with French fry thief). Remember Taco Tuesdays 2$ each. Parking: Always good free parking as provided by the City of Tecumseh.

I enjoyed everything we ordered for breakfast. We both cleaned our plates. The toast was especially terrific. Our server was perfect. It is a fairly small place with plenty of parking. I enjoyed the wall decorations of old signs. Some may think it is old looking but I enjoyed it. We will certainly be returning! Wanted to update my review. Wish I could give this place 10 stars! We come at least once a week from Dundee for breakfast since we first discovered this jewel. Best food and servers! Cant go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu! Omelets, biscuits and gravy, warm syrup for the pancakes. All excellent! And prices are reasonable.

Fish was fantastic. Breakfast is great here. A little work is needed for lunch. Gyro meat was over cooked and dry. Fries were overdone and greasy like they fried them twice. Will continue going for breakfast.
I ordered the Greek Corney for breakfast in the middle of winter and it came with a salad and I was very satisfied. It was around 8am on a Saturday morning, but it was busy. Although there were some poor reviews here and there, the staff were cheerful and my wife and I had a great time.

Cute little diner with the best lunch and breakfast in the county. And you can even order takeout. Been going there for 20 plus years and have never had bad service or bad food.

This is a wonderful place to eat. It is a great place to stop for regulars and those passing through. I drive in from a neighboring city just to eat here. I usually get my breakfast here but their menu covers lunch and dinner too.

Not a bad little place. Food was good service was good, coffee was a bit off for my taste and the server was not knowledgeable about what on the menu had dairy and said something was safe for my son to eat that wasn t. Not holding it that hard against her, everything has dairy in it but I would like to see a little more attention to detail before saying something is safe!

We were visiting family in Tecumseh (were from Tennessee) and were recommended City Limits Diner. It didnt disappoint! We loved it so much we came back the next day for breakfast with the rest of the family.

Left on hold trying to order. I suggest calling someone else if you want takeout. Update: we decided to try them in person. My wife s pancakes were undercooked mush. And my breakfast sandwich came with stale bread and was under seasoned. Add in the sticky tables. I d say just get something from the bakery nearby.

Really good - I had a burger and fries that was excellent. They managed to give me a burger that was cooked through but still juicy. The Fries were awesome and my friend couldnt stop raving about his waffles!

First time going here. Everything was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. If we come back to the area in the future (we were on vacation) I would DEFINITELY make a return trip. Dietary restrictions: My fiance is diabetic, so it was nice to have healthier options on the breakfast menu for him.
This diner was Perfect!! The food was great! The syrup came out in a very clean and very warm bottle!! Theres not one thing I didnt like about this place. The waitress was sweet, polite and gave us just enough space without neglecting us. We will definitely be returning customers.
Nice friendly service good prices
Witnessed one of the staff tell a woman with a very small child that she couldnt have her baby in a stroller. Saying having a stroller inside was against policy yet upon leaving I didnt see this policy posted anywhere. Its one thing if something is against policy but to say it loud enough that myself and other customers could hear the waitress and embaress this poor woman was highly unprofessional. Do better yall

Angie was absolutely AMAZING!! My two year old was with us and she complimented her, which was so sweet. She also ensured my mother s coffee NEVER got below half - and she TRIED! Seriously incredible service and we will 100% be back and highly recommend brunch at City Limits Diner! Parking: TONS of parking! Great service, Amazing food and hospitality. The Nutella French toast is easily the single greatest thing I ve tasted in this lifetime. Our server was extremely nice and helpful with the menu and kept our coffee refilled constantly. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. There wasn t a single complaint I had.
First time I went here. Coffee very good and waitress was quick and came back often to refill coffee. I ordered the crepe with feta, spinach and chicken with hollandaise sauce. Thought it sounded interesting but hollandaise sauce was obviously canned and covering the entire plate, way too much mediocre tasting sauce. Inside of crepe was rather tasteless too. Gave it 3 stars because coffee was good and waitress was very good. Ill probably try one more time and try pancakes or French toast.
