Used to love this place! It is beyond horrible now. The fries were undercooked and smelled of old oil. Never again will my family order from here.

First time eating here since the dining room opened. The remodel is nice. The food, for the most part good. ( Crescent roll had come from the refrigerator, and was cold) The dining room, although open, is self serve. You have to order at the window, but they bring it to the table when ready. All food is served in take - out containers creating an inordinate amount of trash. We had taco salad, and Wonder burger basket. We were told it would be 30 minutes, and that was pretty accurate.

I am not 45 years old, and Ive traveled the United States. I and then to pleasure to being 12 of those States. The family and friends add Brownies are wonderful. And my Mother and Brother both worked there. The pizza is in the top 3 pizza shops of ever had. And the taco is amazing, Ive tried twenty other Taco pizzas. Never have I found a comparison. Thank you Browniesband the Brown family.

Not again will we dine there. Styrofoam carry-out with plastic ware for dine in, what are they thinking!! I dine in to be waited on, served with real plates as well as proper dinning ware. Instead of giving a glass of water they capitalize with selling bottled water. Youre not what you once was, youve gone downhill and the food quality of what once was good I ended up tossing it in the garbage bin you provide for the customers to clean up their own tableware. The star is not truly a 1 star, rather its a negative 1 star. I wish that Id of thought to have taken photos of this, my mistake.

This is not a restaurant where you can go in, sit down and get served. You will be handed a menu and told to sit where you wish. Then you have to go to register to place order and pay. The food is brought out in styrofoam containers and the few drinks that they have, besides beer and wine, are bottled (coke, Pepsi, Mt. Dew, water and tea). Basically, its glorified take out. The restaurant itself is really nice inside with nice floors and tables, and if they ever turn it into a sit down and get served restaurant then it has potential. As far as the food goes, I think it was WAY overpriced for the quality. $17 for a swarma plate (that was dry) with fries and TORTILLA, not even real pita bread. I wont be going back unless they make some big changes. Oh, and absolutely no childrens menu, although they have a grilled cheese plate or chicken tenders. No drinks, besides water, that is suitable for a child.

Best pizza I have ever had!!!

Delicious meatball sandwich. I didnt like being served in a styrofoam container when dining in. Ive heard a lot great things about this place, but was disappointed by the take out experience when eating in the restaurant. My dining companion was put off by the flimsy Plasticware; a metal fork and knife would have made for a better experience.

The food was ok, but not great.

Well, the whole experience wasn t the greatest. Average when it comes to taste and overall value. I was told when I called in my order, 25-30 minutes, an hour after ordering, I am finally holding my pizza after watching all of the kitchen staff including owner fight and argue over orders. The young lady behind the counter was very apologetic, and it isn t her fault, but I was really hoping that this place would have some great pizza and it is just average, maybe something s on the menu taste way better but overall, I had a tough experience and I will not be returning any time soon.

Ordered famous taco pizza and had really high hopes it would be like the former Brownies Taco Pizza. When I arrived to pick up I was greeted by two really polite, nice young men obviously working hard in their families restaurant. I really think it s great that these kids are taught to work hard and earn their own way, and I truly respect those values. I wanted to like the food so I could return, but the taco pizza was horrendous! We spent 60 in total for a large pizza that after one bite went in trash, breadsticks that were actually cheese sticks that fit in a tiny appetizer container, and a burger with onion rings. Really disappointed in the quality of the food. Total waste of my hard earned money and I will not return. Hopefully these kids will be taught that when you serve lousy food you lose business. Recipe and quality has definitely changed! The former brownies food was edible, now it s not! There wasn t even any meat on the pizza, just beans

Took the family here after a long day because when I lived in Tecumseh this was the best place for dinner. We walked in at 6pm, ordered around 610, didnt get our food until after 7. Drinks are cans and cant be refilled and still cost 2 bucks. Ordered a works pizza- was mainly black and green olives, and the crust tasted like biscuits, the chicken parm was good, except the chicken was burnt slightly. Kids enjoyed their burgers and BLT. But the main reason we stopped was because of the pizza and it was a h7ge let down Wheelchair accessibility: Have a ramp to inside, but honestly not alot of room to move around

Nothing like it used to be. Pizza tastes different, no more fountain drinks and a true sit down atmosphere like it had for decades. The new owners appear to like to argue against the fact that the recipes/quality have changed. When a restaurant builds a reputation for consistency and quality for decades making severe concessions and changes to the atmosphere and food completely ruins the experience. Definitely wont be coming back.

Have not had great Mediterranean food in may years. This new menu is amazing. The fried kebbie, stuffed grape leaves and hummus was perfect. And pizza was delicious. Great job, I ll definitely be back. Food : 5/5

We stopped on our way from Cabelas for my sons birthday. It seemed like a great place to eat. After we ordered, paid and waited for almost 35 minutes, the owner and cook came out & told us that the fryers broke/went down in the middle of cooking & they tried everything to get our orders done. But was unsuccessful and apologized. We were bummed out, but understanding. It really wasnt their fault. (Just the luck of the draw.) And we could tell they had been really trying and stressing. They refunded our money. And we left a little tip anyhow. ~Maybe next time!! Wheelchair accessibility: Had a nice sturdy wheelchair ramp up to the front door.

Picked up a couple pizzas tonight and they were exceptional, maybe the best I ve had there in 25 years. Not sure what some of you are talking about the recipes not being the same, the pizza is spot on to what it always has been! Keep up the good work!

This is not the restaurant I remember. Menus are outdated, the food was just something else we got 2 lasagna, 1 BBQ Chicken & 1 BLT, Tuna Melt, 2 onion rings & 2 cheese bread with 4 pops was 91.84 total.

I was there a week ago and I ordered a chicken shawarma pizza and it was the best I had ever had definitely coming back.

Be prepared to throw down some cash. Specialty pizzas are >$25 EACH

Very bad....food, prices, service, and every thing in throw aways...the owner and cook he was not friendly had only 2 teenagers family members helping, ask for 2 waters and gave bottle water at $1.75 each we thought water from the fountian.. did not like and not going back with new owners. We were 7 of us lost 3 couples for good...

Absolutely amazing Pizza!!

We had our first meal at Brownies House of Pizza since their reopening and new ownership. The pizza was decent, but not as good as it was before the closure. Also, while it is expectable to have some level of price increase due to the pandemic, charging $27.99 for a large taco pizza or $19.99 for a medium 3 item pizza is much too expensive. I have attached a photo of Brownies new pizza prices as of 12-27-21 from their new carry out menu so customers can decide for themselves. We unfortunately dont plan to return unless the price increases are modified and food quality brought back to the standards of the previous owners.

Wont be going back, went twice and both times are much regretted. We usually order from Marcos or Jets but wanted to try Brownies, we now very much regret it. The first time the pizza was skimpy with toppings, and the crust was undercooked and way overpriced. The second time our order was not correct when we picked it up and we did not check it till we got home a big mistake; wrong toppings, and the crust, was undercooked in some areas and overcooked in other areas. Called and complained and no one cared. Wow! They were not even busy, well we have decided we will stick with Marcos as first choice and Jets as second. Very disappointed!

Taco pizza is perfect. Also had a pepperoni pizza with a nice crisp crust. Delicious dinner. $40 fed a family of 5. The medium pizza seems like a large from other places. Lots of haters about prices...need to stop!

Still very good food. Bit pricey but we felt like it was worth it. Plus we love to support small businesses. And they have grape leafs, hummus and other types of food. No need to drive to Ann Arbor or Detroit for these items. Plus it tastes so much better than grocery store items. I highly recommend Brownies Pizza.

Was good, boyfriend got the thin crust - will definitely get thick crust next time. Update..... We got the thick crust and all I can say is delicious .

This will be my first review of th new ownership of Tecumseh famous Brownie s. Covid has not help with the re-opening as the owner has completely gutted the Restaurant he face many challenges of delays in receiving equipment during current covid new world. The reopening occurred 2022 and no real reviews to offer as the word from friends of Tecumseh have not came to a real decision. Will review the month of July and surprise visits and undercover also will meet the new owner.

Tried their new chicken shawarma plate and falafel sandwich. One of the best sandwich I ve tried in my lifetime. The sauce that came in the sandwich and plate for both of them was amazing. 10/10 recommend!

Had take out spaghetti with meat sauce and baked spaghetti, came with salads and rolls. Great tasting and plentiful survivings Highly recommend

On my birthday every year I have a Wonder Burger basket this was the worst Wonder Burger basket Id ever eaten avoided this place new owners dont take pride in there food

Back and better than ever! PLEASE be patient with the staff - they re inundated with orders and still trying to get their bearings after being closed for so long. My taco pizza was SO worth the wait, but be prepared to sit tight for a bit while they handle all of the orders. It s a great chance to stand inside and catch up with neighbors, too! Thank you for reopening!!

Ive been ordering their food for years, love their burgers and pizzas

I WAS glad to have Brownies back in business... now I wont be supporting them. One of our pizzas was totally wrong, and my husband was offered $1.50 in recompense. I called back and said that was unacceptable. I was accused of being vulgar (I was nothing of the sort) and I was hung up on. I understand that they were busy, but when Im paying $46 for 2 pizzas, the restaurant should make a customers order correctly OR the restaurant should FIX IT, NOT hang up on people who work hard and support their business. In the end, the pizzas didnt even taste good! My husband, who grew up in Tecumseh, was very disappointed, and so was I. This is NOT the Brownies my family has been supporting for over 16 YEARS. BUMMER.

One of the best pizza places in the state. Their pizza is the best Ive ever had in Michigan. Great specialty pizzas as well. Homemade lasagna spaghetti and meatballs and all the rest at an affordable price. Outstanding food, cant go wrong.

All the rest of yall pizza places, go home! Brownies has, hands down, the best pizza around. Whenever I go with family and friends, we are treated well, checked on often and leave with leftovers. The menu is comprehensive and eclectic from pizza to nachos (on Tuesdays) to grape leaves! Faaantastic!

Amazing food at incredible prices. Their subs and pizzas are awesome (get an extra large with extra cheese). Never been disappointed.

The service is lacking and the pizza cook times vary day to day but its still some of the best pizza around. Do yourself a favor and order take out instead of sitting down.

For a cold winter afternoon, it is has warm and friendly atmosphere. Love their pizzas. And will also definitely come here for special occassions.

Was very disappointed last night when we ordered three take out meals. We arrived at home which was not in Tecumseh and realized they did not put 3 salads or any rolls in with our baked spaghetti and meatballs. My Son also ordered later and he was short his onion soup and rolls. Tried to call back several times but the phone was busy every time. With that experience we will not be returning there.

Legendary pizza place with a wide variety of other home made entrees. The taco pizza is a one of a kind pie that is a favorite among the locals. I highly recommend Brownies when youre in Tecumseh!

Im all about local businesses and this is the 3rd time Ive visited this place. The 1st time my mom and I had cheeseburgers and they were very good, although later that evening we both were sick Im not sure if it was from that? 2nd time we ate at this establishment it was good and we had the taco pizza. My 2 boys and I went there for lunch on this last ever visit and had ordered a large 2 topping pizza (pepperoni and extra cheese on half and bacon and ham on half) and when a $32 check came out for a 2 topping pizza and 3 drinks came out I was surprised. Apparently its policy to charge full price of toppings for half of pizza as well as double charge on top of the for extra cheese (on half). So basically I had to pay for a 5 topping pizza that is decent but not at all anything to brag about, I see why the parking lot is empty most the times when I drive through Tecumseh. Good luck to the Brown family, it wouldnt hurt to list your policy on your menu.

We are long time eaters at Brownies and I have to say tonight s pizza was the worst we have ever had. We ordered a taco pizza our favorite and it was soggy and bland. Very disappointed .

Brownies just isnt what it used to be. Waitress arent as friendly and food isnt as good as it was in the past. Their French Onion Soup used to be amazing, rich broth, and very cheesey. Now, bland broth, cheap croutons, and very little cheese. This is only one example of the decline in product. I suggest eating elsewhere.

Its a smaller hometown restaurant with great, friendly service and amazing homemade food. The fried cauliflower was perfectly cooked, and my wonderburger was incredible. The prices are really reasonable! For the gluten free, they have salads and you can always get the burgers with no bun.

Only visited one time but it was surprisingly good. I had the chicken BBQ pizza and some cheese sticks. I plan on eating there again when Im in Tecumseh next.

$42 for 2 of the worst pizzas weve had in a long time. Crust looks and tastes pre-made/store bought.

I took away two stars but I cant give them a negative review, the food for the price is a good deal I feel however the facility could be updated along with the menu. If you are only interested in take out pizza or sub or burger then five stars. It is a hometown favorite . With the quality of food,I only wish the restaurant was nicer .

Work buddies and I got the meatball subs. Let me start off by saying I have never been a fan of meatball subs but my coworker told me to try it. My goodness, I have never had a better sub then here! Cant beat it. 8$ and some change for a sub chips and a pickle. Highly recommend. If you are debating on trying it you should. Go here, the food is good.

Ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. Noodles were cooked the way I like them. The sauce could have had more garlic, basil and oregano for my taste. My daughter ordered pizza and really liked it. I looked at reviews from other patrons before we ventured out today. The restaurant interior is like stepping back in time. Some reviewers have commented that an update is needed. I think maybe new chairs and floor coverings.....but for those of us who are a bit nostalgic....it was like visiting the late 1970 s to early 1980 s and I didn t mind it one bit.

Had a burger it was dry. But thier pizza is good.

Canned mushrooms, under-cooked cheese, and stale crust make for a horrible pizza. A total waste of $20.

Our grandson wanted to get Brownies pizza on his 18th birthday so we arrived after 10 p.m. as we had attended a comedy show first. My husband and I both wanted to have the wonderburger and it was fabulous. My grandson and his friend each ordered their own pizzas (large).!! They stuffed themselves and took the rest home planning on eating it for breakfast, and dinner. Pizza is their favorite food and these had a good crust, lots of cheese and toppings.I had given up on pizza years ago (skimpy crust)but next time my Husband and I will order one large for us and know we will be stuffed.Our waitress was wonderful and went out of her way to make our grandson feel special.

Everytime I come to Tecumseh, this is my go to quick stop, great pizza, especially there taco pizza, but my go to is the Chicken Club Sub, which also comes with their delicious crunchy chips!

Very rude! I called about a application and they were so rude! They told me they werent hiring but when I drove by there sign said hiring all positions. If they werent interested in my application they should of just said So.

I heard many of great things about the taco pizza. Sadly it wasnt at all as good as I was expecting. Actually wasnt impressed. Better than Dominos or Papa Johns but if you want GOOD pizza visit Klavons or Pizza Bucket, Basil Bous has the best Calzones too.

I had the barbecue chicken pizza and my mom had the taco pizza. Probably the best pizza Ive ever had! :-) We also tried the Brownies bread and french onion soup. Honestly I have no idea what I like the best. Our waitress Alysa was awesome!!! Will definitely be back soon.

Taco pizza was unimpressive. No hamburger, sour cream or olives. Just piles of lettuce. Crust was good. Maybe their regular pizza are better. The actual restaurant was a dump. Worn out dingy carpet. Out dated tables and chairs. I had to picl my pizza up through a hole in the wall i had to duck to see through as it was at my chest level. Charge over $20 for a pizza but the place is falling apart. Dont see the appeal that everyone raves about.

Craig Brown following in his father s footsteps makes awesome pizza . This establishment is owner operated and you will most likely see Craig and his wife in the kitchen working hard. I have been items from their menu from here for 35 years and always the best. I remember as a kid Craig s dad Rod working the dining room making everyone dining there feeling special.

This place is great! It was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed! We got their pizza and it was so yummy! Nice local spot!

Great Homemade Food!!!

Love Brownies Pizza. Place was already our favorite spot over 35 years ago when we were kids. Was back in town for a reunion, and made sure I got there in time to stop in for a small ham and mushroom pizza. No gluten free options, so I had some after effects, but it was worth it! Thin, crispy, delicious crust with just the right amount of cheese, and sauce that has stood the test of time. It was deserted when I got there at 5pm, so I was a bit worried, but the food and service were just right, and there was a full parking lot when I left shortly after 6pm.
