We have been going to the Terra Cotta for years. I had my wedding shower there and have eaten and celebrated many events there over the years. Fantastic food and great staff. Have always had a wonderful time. The grounds are gorgeous, great for family photos afterwards. Always have a great time. Thank you again for making all the events so wonderful.

On November 14th/2024 I was having lunch with two other friends. I ordered the burger with fries and a small Caesar salad. Although I must say, your location is very nice as well as the interior décor. Unfortunately, the food was really sub standard. The hamburger was clearly not made fresh on premises . It was from a frozen patty. The fries were quite bad, most likely from frozen as well. I asked our waitress for a side of mayo. The waitress brought me those little mayonnaise packages you get at any fast food place. It was quite surprising. I go to ANY restaurant and ask for a side of mayonnaise and I get served an actual side dish with it. Not small pouches. I was very disappointed with the food. Very sub standard. Parking: the parking is small, but ok.

The steak has set a new standard for me, eclipsing my previous favorite from a hotel in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The flavor was incredible! When you get a chance, go to the Terracotta Inn! Thank you Samira K Food

I decided to have my birthday dinner here and we were quite disappointed with the service. The servers seemed annoyed and were really slow. One of the servers who had curly hair finally came up to us after 15 mins of waiting and introduced herself to the table and said you better listen because I wont say this more than once. The food was alright. We had to ask for bread for the table. My friends wanted to treat me and the server made it seem like it was so complicated to split a bill. Ive also never been to a restaurant that didnt serve a complementary birthday/celebration treat. For the price of this restaurant, I would have expected more. I was excited to visit Terra cotta but wont be returning. Also, the drinks didnt taste like they had alcohol.

First time here but will definately be back. Loved the antipasto platter.

My husband and I have been here before and the service was okay not highly pleasant but not bad. However, we went again on October 17th at 5 pm because we really loved the patio and atmosphere. Unfortunately this time, we were barely greeted as the two ladies (lady at front desk and waitress) were talking to each other and didn t bother to greet until we spoke to them directly. After that their behaviour was highly unkind and not welcoming. We asked about the patio to which the waitress said it was not available. We then walked into the dinning area and she asked us to sit at a table in the middle of the room even though everyone else was sitting in the perimeter. We asked to sit in the table by the window which was fully clean and set up. But she very rudely said only this table . And I genuinely was waiting for a kind provision of a reason as to why that table we asked for was not available. Anyway once we sat down at the table she seated us in, my husband and I didn t feel comfortable so I suggested we leave because I didn t like the energy I was feeling. So we left and on our wait out we wanted to let them know that were really wanted the patio and since it s not available we will visit another time. Shockingly the ladies didn t bother or even look at us. So I walked away while my husband continued to tell them why we re leaving but they continued to literally IGNORE him. It felt really disrespectful and I don t think we would ever feel comfortable to revisit the Terra Cotta restaurant.I feel really sad by this because there aren t many places near Brampton.

Awesome! The entire dining experience was wonderful from the start to finish.The waitress was knowledgeable and personable. The food was amazing, flawless, and delicious.We were there to celebrate 3 birthdays in our group and the wait staff even surprised us with candles on our dessert and sang to us.I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Used to go here frequently when we wanted a bite to eat, I enjoy the fish pasta and antipasto but it has become way over priced for what kind of restaurant it is. We still go on just not an often. Mains are slightly overpriced, apps are way overpriced and alcohol is more than some high end restaurants.

When I asked if the restaurant was only for guests of the inn, I was greeted by a friendly voice saying this is not an actual inn but a restaurant. It is mostly for a quiet evening with drinks and continental menu. I couldnt dine since I was looking for a specific cuisine. I dont drink and couldnt fine non-alcoholic drinks or coffee on the menu.

This place is a DELIGHT! Love the food, love the service, love the ambiance, and love the owners. They have created a small slice of heaven, complete with flowing stream, fruit trees and rolling meadows. My family and I loved our time there today; and we intend to come back often. Have been to this place twice, one for business lunch and one with my partner. Both times were great, no complaints with food or service. They were busy but staff ensured they were polite enough.

The times Ive been to Terra Cotta, I have never been disappointed. I brought my friend to have the same reaction and experience as I did. We were served by Miranda. What a joy she was. The service was impeccable. She was so knowledgeable and a lovely disposition. When we visit again, we will definitely ask for Miranda. She would make a great ambassador for your establishment.

We have been visiting Terra Cotta for the past few years and Have always come back with good memories. However, unfortunately today when we were there with our guests the server displayed inappropriate behaviour which made the experience uncomfortable.

It was delicious, delightful, warm and friendly atmosphere. Cant wait to go back

Amazing place

I have been to the Inn many times over the years and the food is always very good and worth coming back for. Service however on Friday was poor. The waitress continued to mention we were her last table ( we hadn t even ordered desert). We asked if we were the last table in the restaurant, she said no. A few minutes later she made a point to tell us that we now were. It was quiet, my daughter and son in law were just back from their honeymoon and we were celebrating with them and another couple of great friends. We were laughing and loud, but there was no one in our room, or the adjoining, so not concerned. The waitress then came up to us to make sure we weren t driving. She served us all night. We had 3 bottles of wine, had consumed 2.5 with 5 drinkers. She also knew that she hadn t delivered a drink to the DD ( not one), and he did not have a wine glass. I suspect that she wanted us out, and if reminders weren t working, then insulting the table and bringing the mood crashing down was her next tactic. It worked. Large bill, and not treated well by waitress that forgot her role in the dining experience. It will be a long time before I return, and I am hopeful we get another server. We have had great service, mediocre and now very bad

Beautiful relaxing ambience rate a 4, service expectations depends on which server you get rate a 2 to 4 . The food is good, but not excellent rate a 3 to 4. Prices fair not overly high considering the service industry has been hit hard over the past year 2020-2021.

Sat outside, service was perfect, food delicious, and atmosphere as always terrific. Not our first or second visit, nice relaxing evening.

I don t ever write reviews but I had good experiences here in the past. My boyfriend and I drove a long way tonight to enjoy a nice dinner date. We sat on the patio and were ignored for 30 minutes. With waitresses walking around serving the 4 other tables around us. We didn t get menus or any word or even a look from anyone working there. We were looking forward to having their carpaccio and enjoying a full dinner, dessert and some drinks. Not one acknowledgment for a half an hour so we just left while a waitress stood there polishing glasses. We walked past several employees on the way out and not one even glance. We unfortunately will not be going back there.

I was there for the first time last night with my daughter and a group of longtime and dear friends to celebrate the retirement of a close friend since high school. The setting of this place is magnificent, the food was really good, but what was most impressive to me was the amazing server we had. Her hospitality, professionalism and attention to detail made the experience awesome.

This restaurant do racism dont ever go to thus restaurant staff will treat you very rude and food pathetic.

What an absolute beautiful setting to celebrate any occasion! Everything was beyond exceptional including the service, food and ambiance! And so reasonably priced to boot! What a fantastic experience! Thank you Colleen and team!!!

Very poor food!

Food and service was good. However, we came and asked for washrooms, we were told that washrooms are for customers only. We completely respected it. We said it is ok we will take something. We were seated and I could t wait, so asked to the attender for washroom direction. Again, she was like you need to order first, which I felt so annoying. I completely understand the policies and respect them but then this type of treatment was not welcoming and acceptable.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! went in with a party of 5, as soon as we walked in was told rudely outside or take out only ( before we could even say hi hello or greet anyone ) told the waitress its a friends birthday she interupped me mid sentence and said we do not give anything free! all i wanted to say was put her tab on mine. Food was without care, drinks were watered down, they act like the place was busy, but it was empty WOULD NOT GO Back

Found this place thought it would be a nice experience I WAS WRONG!! there was lady bugs in my salad!! i asked for a new one, they said they are busy and wont be able to change it now and its normal this time of year!??! My husbands food found plastic wrap, i was DISGUSTED! when i left, i didnt tip them, the manager told me tipping is mandatory! im like no sorry GOODBYE!

We held a retirement party there and it was perfect. We had a private room where we could have short speeches. The grounds are lovely and the food was good.

I ate today for lunch, I tried carpaccio, fish and risotto all really great.

I took my wife for dinner there, we had a fabulous time, the food was great and the service fantastic, planning to go back after lent.

Our dining experience was a family affair to celebrate a birthday. From start to finish our service was excellent and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. The food choices were varied and amazing. We all had joyed our food choices but my mushroom starter was absolutely delicious. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free was easy!

Enjoyed a large group dinner. The service was faster than expected as we were a group of 14. However the portion was smaller than expected. They were very accommodating of us bringing our own birthday cakes. Will definitely eat here again.

A great experience. The liver and onions was heaven, tender and sweet with the addition of pearl onions and a lovely white wine sauce, not a starchy gravy that usually accompanies liver and onions. The service and the experience were top notch.

Love the Terra Cotta Inn. My go to restaurant when I lived in Toronto. The best cuisine in the Caledon area. Only Johnny Arena serves up this quality of dishes.

The food and service here are just tremendous. We went into the pub downstairs as we had just been for a hike. You get such a warm welcome and we got a table by the fire. The Gnocchi were amazing and the fish I had was just wonderful. Home made desserts and excellent espresso were a great way to finish. Downstairs is cosy but upstairs is a really nice restaurant to dine in too.

Its a cute place to enjoy both the inside atmosphere or the patio during the summer months. Food is decent but little over priced for its quality though. I would expect a establishment in business this long would continue to step up its game versus ride on its years gone by coat tails Still love the owner and its staff truly an awesome place to enjoy a drink or meal.

This restaurant is an amazing date spot. It would definitely be helpful to make reservations as their tables availability can be hard if its walk-in. The vibes are truly different from what you find at other restaurants which we loved a lot. Definitely ask for their dessert menu, we got Tiramisu and it was the best Tiramisu we have ever had. Their pasta was good but their fish n chips were so-so. It s worth getting once but I was not the biggest fan of their fish n chips. It was very crispy, almost hard to cut it. Would definitely try other things here for sure!

This is our family s absolute favorite restaurant .The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! The staff are so nice, our server Antonio is always so friendly, happy and polite. We always look forward to coming here. Thank you

Our group had dinner recently on the patio. The varied dishes served were outstanding! Preperation and presentation unrivaled. My compliments to the kitchen staff...well done. The prices are reasonable for the quality dishes served. The only reason I didnt rate it five stars, was the customer service quality was lacking throughout the last visit. The patio is very serene and welcoming.

We had dessert here and the toffee pudding with ice cream is to die for. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would come back for lunch and dinner next time.

The food in this restaurant is excellent. And they can handle a garlic allergy easily. Good staff and lots of smiles. The only issue is the tendency for large groups to make a lot of noise. It seems they like to shout a lot. (Been here two times and it was loud both times.) Perhaps invest in some sound absorbent in the dining area.

We went here to visit the patio for lunch a couple of times. It s a really great place to eat. The menu is awesome, staff knows their stuff and is very friendly. The landscape around the patio is beautiful and the patio is large and spaced out. Fully recommend.

While the food was ok the dining area was loud with other diners conversation which was a bit annoying. The waiter was too exuberantly talkative too.

This place was easily a 5 star restaurant if it wasnt for the horrible manger who was incredibly rude upon arrival. She was unaccommodating, unprofessional and unpleasant. We considered leaving but were greeted by the most pleasant waitor who turned our whole night around. He was amazing, the food was delicious and the grounds were impeccable. We didnt let the horrible manager ruin our birthday festivities.

It was rather disappointing to say the least. It looks nice from outside and the inside it doesn t look bad, but it ends there. Service was way below average. Food was bad, pizza sauce tasted like I opened a can of sauce and pour it on the dough. Meat was rare when we asked for medium. That was the most upsetting part because when we inquired about it to our server she acknowledge it, took the plate to the chef and never came back, another server came and nothing was mentioned like it never happened. No apologies or no saying if we were wrong or not. Absolutely nothing. Definitely I do not recommend and we are not going back.

Beautiful restaurant with a huge patio right along the river. Menu has a good variety of options and the drinks are 10/10.

The staff were very professional and friendly. They placed fresh made bread at our table while we waited for our food. We had the beef carpaccio as a starter, grilled chicken with sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese, mashed potatoes and vegetables, as well as the burger with fries, and the in-house made tiramisu for dessert. The food, wine, beer, and specialty coffees were all delicious. Beautiful scenery surrounding the restaurant as well. Well definitely be back.

My husband ordered the fish special and his comments are tasty, nice presentation First time here and next time would request a seat looking out over the river. Parking: No problem finding a spot.

The food served here is unreal. It beats any Keg or high end restaurants in the GTA by a mile. The culinary artistry and flavours are well worth the price. I had a 10 0z angus steak cooked medium rare with mashed potatoes and veggies. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a Smokey and savoury dry aged flavour. The penne rigate with shrimp is absolutely delicious aswell. The service matches the quality of food. One suggestion, I would obtain sharper steak knives. The butter knife cuts better than the provided steak knife. A sharp knife is always safer than a dull knife. Update: They have upgraded their knives and now serve a serated steak knife with any entrees that require one. The food AND service remain consistent everytime I dine here. 10/10 would recommend you dine here. Kid-friendliness: They are accommodating with small children and friendly.

A very wonderful experience visiting Terra Cotta Inn for the first time. We were greeted by the manager, Colleen when we first walked in with a warm greeting. The server was very informative providing us with the specials of the day and was very helpful with picking a wine pairing. The chef, Roberto went above and beyond cooking us a delicious home cooked meal. Everything was very delicious and we were treated like regulars even though it was our first time visiting. Definitely won t be the last time as the food, staff, and ambiance were all perfect. Thank you to the entire staff for their hospitality and can t wait to be back. Highly recommend. We drove from out of town and the drive to the restaurant was an experience itself. Wish I could give it a higher rating as 5 stars does not do justice.

Overall, I can confidently say that Terra Cotta Inn is a true ge.. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon for another exceptional meal.

Our host was amazing and the food was way above the expectation.

Atmosphere was alright. Not personally a huge fan of some of the decor, feels a bit like visiting some tacky, eccentric, rich, old peoples house but, I adore some of the paintings. That being said, the food is absolutely amazing. The wait service is even better. Our server, Antonio, was impeccable. Not only did he provide us with the perfect amount of attention, he told us fabulous stories and even better jokes. 2 salads, 2 plates of the most delicious pasta, a ceasar, a nice bottle of wine and a dessert, at just under $200 and I was very satisfied with my visit. Our service and food was so good, I happily left a $50 tip and would easily do it again.

We were invited to somebodys wedding anniversary party, at end of the meal we were presented with a bill not only for the food & drinks but also for facility usage!!!!! The expsive food was nothing to shout about & the staff started to rush us towards the end & told us our time was up!! Definitely will not be going to this place again
