Such a welcoming little gem on the Southside. A little greasy spoon but all home cooked in house. If something runs out it's marked off the menu. Great experience with incredible staff
Literally the best pancakes we've had, across multiple countries and continents. Hands down. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, clean venue, and as I said, literally the best pancakes!
How do I start?!? We got the classic burger with curly fries and onion rings. The burger was seasoned to perfection! The fries were perfectly cooked. The lady out front was super kind and created a delightful conversation. We went before close which made me feel terrible as the food industry is a hard place to work in. However they did such an amazing job. I read some of the reviews and let me tell you this place deserves more credit than it gets! And those toasted buns! Yes! Come here if you’re looking for a 50’s retro style restaurant, or just amazing food in general! It’s also hard to find a place that sells Pepsi as well! Well done an compliments and kudos to the staff and chef’s!
Very friendly service. The burger was juicy/tasty and fries were perfectly cooked, fresh cut and numerous. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. It's also nice to have a cold beer with the burger, they're meant for each other. Well done! 👍
Stopped by on the way through terrace to get breakfast/ lunch. The menu variety and price was great and there were options for everyone. The food was delicious and I left absolutely stuffed. Portion sizes were good as well. Generally everyone had a great meal here. Would return if passing through for breakfast.
We had the hangover poutine. Was really good and the portion size was huge. The staff was very friendly and we will definitely back. Most likely to try the eggs benny as them seem well reviewed. Will update on those as well.
On first glance it seemed like a nice place 🤷🏽♀️ We waited 40 minutes for breakfast all the while watching order after order of takeout being prepared and picked up. Three meals sat at the pick up window for 5 minutes while the last two were prepared so were barely warm. When the order came, one look and you could see the pancake had a hair embedded in it. We sent them back to the kitchen where a long discussion ensued. 3 minutes later the cook came out and asked “do you want the pancakes remade, because it’ll be a while” we asked how long. They said 5 to 8 minutes. Guess they figured we should accept the hair. The food appears good but honestly how do you know what’s in it or their cleanliness protocols when they ask “do you want it remade?” We all chewed small bites slowly to be vigilant. Try another restaurant instead. 3 regular breakfasts, 1 order of Pancakes, 1 eggs Benny. Total bill for 5 breakfasts $65.42, no discount for hair or wait 🤨
If youre looking for that home cooked meal Kathleens is the place to go !! Make sure you get there ahead of time cuz theres never a spot! Food

Ate at Kathleens Grill twice in a week, Most Excellant Food, Waitresses, the atmosphere of the place. Traveled here from Seift Current SK, well worth the trip. Looking forward to the next visit.

Delicious, I had the burger wrap with Frys and gravy for dipping the Frys and it was very good.
What a wonderful little dinner! I really enjoyed my French toast and the vibes were impeccable. The waitress who served me was very kind as well! Dont miss out on this gem!

Best burger in town. Or so I ve been told. I haven t tried it but the statement seems to be true so far. Must know how to park well because the parking is pretty tight here at the time I visited at 4 PM on April.

I LOVE THE 2 FOR 1 CLASSIC BREAKFAST HERE I paid 8.95 for a bottle of Miller though.. maybe if it were a nice glass of wine perhaps almost $18 for two beers well with the liquor tax it was probably over come to think of it.. I WILL DEFIANTLY BE BACK FOR FOOD THOUGH!! IT HITS HOME!!!
What an awesome diner. The classic burger (make it deluxe) was extraordinary and priced very reasonably. The fries seemed to be homemade, too. All in all the best diner in town, easily beating Denny s or white spot.
I absolutely love this place
Only been once but it was a good experience. The server was great and so was the food. We tried going a second time but unfortunately it was a Monday and they are closed that day. We are out of town workers staying in a camp where the take-a-way lunch is the same mostly. We also dont have a microwave to heat up some of the other options. Will be back next time we are in town.

Came here for my first time and was seated at my own table. I was about to get my food and the waitress sat a complete stranger across from me at my table because there was no more seat left... It was the worst most awkward experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. I walked out and will never be back.
Friendly staff, cool decor, and awesome food! I recommend the Monte Cristo sandwich but try it with chicken instead of turkey. Its delicious! And when they ask if you want gravy, you better say yes because its some of the best gravy Ive ever tasted.
I came here about 5 times now because my bf and his family like it here, I have yet to receive a good meal, every single time my food is cold and disgusting. Gave them way too many chances. Save your money and eat at home

I ate here while in Terrace on a work trip. If you are looking for a hearty warm meal, this is the place. Big portion sizes and cooked fresh. Staff was friendly and could hear the cooks singing in the back (Shaggy). Recommend if you are looking for a diner style breakfast or burger.

Waited forty five minutes for two simple breakfasts and one to go clubhouse for when we left. The clubhouse was the first thing done and ready to go before the two dine ins. 20 minutes after the clubhouse was finished we received our food. My sunny side up eggs were burnt, the bacon, sausage and hashbrown were piled on top of each other like pigs slop. The toast wasnt bad though. The second breakfast was a simple eggs Benny with a side of extra Hollandaise. She received the food without hollandaise on top of the eggs benedict. The side of Hollandaise was cold to the touch. A cook went for a break and the assistant cook complained to co workers unable to handle a half empty facility where only two tables were waiting. Face masks, gloves or face shilds are not part of the uniform there. The waitstaff were helpful and happy.
Great homemade food.
This hidden gem is one of the best home style type restaurants i have eaten at. Ordered delivery due to covid. The food is amazing always fresh and cooked perfectly. Cant say enough positive things. This will be my place of choice whenever im in town for business!

Interesting and engaging decor, and very friendly staff, even though they were busy. The huge portions of poutine were a delicious meal in themselves, and the old-school milkshake was a wonderful accompaniment.

Had such a great experience at Kathleens Grill just a couple weeks ago. The environment was great, a classic 1950s style diner. The food selection was great and the servings will leave you full! Definitely a new favorite place to go! Be sure to grab a cherry coke!

Very poor service, came to eat with my little brother of 9yrs old. Ordered him curly fries and for myself chicken fingers and fries. Took them 1 full hour to get it to us while 3 other tables sat down after us and were done eating by time we got our food. Then the waitress gives us attitude for us trying to cancel our order. Not impressed at all

This is not a place I would recommend. Went in at 1:00- after lunch rush, ordered cheeseburger and fries. It took 1/2 to get our order. When it came, the hamburger was burned black and the fries were both burned and soggy. How does that happen? Both burned AND soggy. And how does the server deposit such poorly put together meal on a paying costumers table? Never going there again.
Always have a good experience here. The food is good, and the staff are even better! Once went for milkshakes and didnt realize it was only a few minutes until closing but Kathleen not only made us the milkshakes but encouraged us to sit and stay in to finish them so we could get full enjoyment. Love them!

Went there a couple weeks ago and was thoroughly disappointed in this place. Had great rating on Google and thats why we decided to give it a shot. Ordered breakfast and had to ask the waitress where the rest of the food was cause the plate was tiny. The omelette was bland and had no flavour or taste to it at all. The French toast... I dont even think we could call it that honestly. The booth bench seats are so tiny that you cant actually fit in them and I am not a big dude. There was also a pretty cod draft through the building. All in all... super super dissapointing and would give it a 0 star rating if I could.

I love their soup and sandwich for lunch. Not tons of food but a delicious morsel of food for 10 bucks. Cheap eggs benedict on Fridays and some of the best Ive ever had.
Food was outrageously good, I think I popped a semi chub just looking at it. 10/10 would recommend.

THE VANILLA COKE IS A LIE!!!!!!!!!! IT IS NOT COKE COLA BRAND APPROVED VANILLA COKE!!!!! I KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!!!!!!!!! I SUSPECT THEY JUST MIX REGULAR COKE WITH A VANILLA SYRUP, BUT I HAVE NO EVIDENCE. BE WARNED ALL WHO ENTER! Food was decent, staff seemed nice.
