We serve authentic Indian food prepared using traditional methods. We are about staple Indian curries, tandoori breads and Indian rice preparations. We ensure a memorable Indian food dining experience.
Felt cheated here. The prices of the dishes on the menu was suddenly increased without a valid reason, except to say prices are subject to change. The food was ok the staff were polite except for the gentleman at the cash who was very dismissive and couldn’t explain the price increase for standard type dishes? Butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, even the chai was increased from the menu price. AVOID THIS PLACE
Had the Assorted Indian Snacks and everything was amazing as always. The gentleman that was waiting tables and who chatted while I paid was super friendly and upbeat.
We had the most amazing experience here the food is unbelievably excellent. I cannot wait to come back. It was sad when dinner was done! I cannot recommend this place enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🎉
Awful food, Mango Lassi was extremely sour, paneer vindaloo was the worst(old and hard paneer;probably expired; aloo was also old), naan was the only thing that was fine. Don’t Recommend this restaurant; plenty of other better options in the city.
The food is good but the customer service is worst. They have old menu with different price and the actual price are different. I looked online and in store menu the butter chicken price is $18 and they are charging $24. I asked about the price difference and the answer was “DO YOU WANT IT OR NO” i felt uncomfortable and i said i wont be coming here again and the reply was “OFF-COURSE”. I think they don’t want buisness. Anyways i am never going there again.
the food was very nice totally exceptional I could make a habit of eating here often it was a great heating
The food was pretty good, but not worth the price, and definitely not worth being ripped off for it. I ordered the chicken vindaloo, which is $18 on the menu. He charged me $24.50 for it, which i realized after i had already paid. I felt ripped off, he should have told me the cost went up by $6.50 before hand. His reasoning was "the cost of food has gone up". Drumsticks are the cheapest chicken meat you can buy. I just can't trust this place anymore.
The best restaurant in town, seriously! Must try - fish badamee; meat samosa and rogan josh (lamb in creamy spicy sauce).
Best Indian food in terrace
Amazing meal tonight as always. Friendly staff and good service.
Someone recommended it, but it was a horrible experience. I found the food to be very tasteless and the service to be unprofessional, as well as the ambiance being rather poor. A lot of improvements required.
This place looks like a landfill inside and outside, their freezer makes a loud engine like sound every 5 minutes, food was just ordinary and bearly tolerable, tea was downright watery. What kind of an Indian restaurant doesnt know to make Chai.
The reviews on this place were weird so, we weren t sure what to expect. It s attached to a motel and is pretty unassuming. We got in from the Yukon a little late but, it says open til 10 so we went. They actually close at 9 but, were still willing to feed us. We had rogan Josh and chicken curry, you can choose your spice level, both were great. We did one hot and one medium, I thought they were perfect, I m white tho so take that with a grain of salt Obviously family owned, they have cold beer and, a tandoor so the naan is crispy af. Definitely would recommend coming here when you re in Terrace, best meal I ve had in this town yet.
The best East Indian food ever. The service was grand and if you have a big table booked order ahead and you will know if they have it. Please try the loaded nan bread its to die for.
Really good food. Thank you.
The samosa, here is so good! The chutney, makes it really savory as well!
Trash service. Owner needs to leave his ego outside the restaurant doesnt matter if he own it. Sir, u need to change your behaviour.
It is the best in the Northwest.
Very tasty Indian cuisine. Decided to dine here two nights in a row while in Terrace.
Best authentic food in Town. Great service.
Best Indian food in town . Great service. Friendly staff.
Never had a samosa before...had a meat samosa from here.....omg!!! Soooo fresh and awsome!
Finally tried their butter chicken and garlic naan. It was amazing, cant wait to try more on their menu. Very friendly staff. Definitely recommend. Thank you.
Friendly service Butter Chicken tasted amazing but was watery. Garlic Naan was bland. I ll go back when it s busier to try again.
Excellent food and Friendly staff
Got the butter chicken and meat samosas. Probably the best food I have had in Terrace so far. Owner was super nice. Easy to order.
Delicious Indian cuisine... if you dont order ahead be prepared to wait 45-ish minutes for your food ... its worth the wait tho! Friendly as well
Truly one of the best dining experiences in terrace. You are spending the money here for a quality meal, the spices were on point, the vegetables were cooked right. Definitely the best Naan bread in terrace. This place is a gem. I will be back
I gotta say, this food smacks. The food is seasoned beautifully with the flavours being in perfect unity to one another. I had the Murg Tikka and no lie this meal had me dancing. I ll be coming back here 100%. I thank you for the delicious meal, cheers.
Fabulous Indian food. Make sure you pre-order.
Me and my friend went this place yesterday . There was no staff and one person came and tell us to wait 1 hour for dine in because they prefer takeout first . I don t understand then why they showing dine in open on google . Really Awful.
Absolutely the best East Indian cuisine in Northwest British Cloumbia. Everything is made fresh to order and in the traditional, incredibly flavouful way. The restaurant is open for eat-in again post Covid. You will not leave hungry, and may not need to eat the next day! Fantastic flavourful food. Dine-in experience is average in terms of decor and seats are quite hard, but the food makes up for the lack of ambiance. If youre in a hurry, call and order ahead for takeout or dine-in. Parking: Plenty of parking around the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp up to the door, no stairs
I was trying to call for takeout, and the server on the phone was rude. If this restaurant wants to be successful, it has to make drastic changes to its staff. I never met anyone so disrespectful to the customer
Among the best East Indian restaurants I have found.
Great food. Half way through my butter chicken and had to leave a review. Support this business and you wont be disappointed!
Rolled into Terrace 20 minutes before closing. The restaurant fired up a few plates of butter chicken and appetizers for us, while the other owner checked us into the hotel promptly. Serving sizes are nice and big; Various heat options for the butter chicken to suit your flavor. Small town service with small town smiles. :) I would rather eat here than the Canadian Tire parking lot, however they have good hot dawgs there too! :)
Amazing food!! If you are looking for authentic Indian food, this is the place to go. Great customer service and delicious food with real Indian taste. It takes time to cook as they serve fresh food but its worth waiting for. Loved it!!!
This is the best in Western Canada, have not found a place as good!
They make the best Indian food we have ever found in BC or Alberta. Recommend it to anyone.
This is hands down the best Indian food in Terrace!
Food was amazing 5/5 Gf had butter chicken 5/5 I had lamb Rogan Josh also 5/5, Meat samosas and nan bread were also 5/5 Price was a little expensive but overall worth it. Overall 4/5
Amazing delicious Indian food! Made fresh so there is usually a long wait to eat so if you know what you want, preorder!
The food is AMAZING, definitely worth the wait as every thing is made from scratch. I will be returning often
Great food .
A great experience. Friendly environment and a great ambience. Just an amazing place. Worth visiting and loved it. Food was so yummy. Keep it up guys.
Always so delicious there. The only bad thing is you cant stop eating and its easy to eat too much.
Amazing food!!
The lady who runs the place makes great tasting food.
Very good food and service!
Excellent food
Ms Gill is the best! Go check her Restaurant out
Slow but very good food and service!
Food was amazing, I had to set up camp outside the restaurant and only eat there for 5 days
Slow service.
Shared a meal at this little Indian restaurant with friends (seven of us). The pakoras were awesome and the service was slow, but great. Everyone had different dishes and when it came, it was tasty. I would have liked my hot hotter, but understand that I seem to love spice more than the average person. Highly recommend this place for a laid back enjoyable meal. Not for anyone who is in a rush.
Very good authentic indian food.
Not a place to go for a quick bite, as everything is pretty much made from scratch. But oh boy is it delicious.
First time there and everything exceeded expectations. There was a bit of a wait, but it was WAY worth it for the deliciousness that came out.
Prices for food are so high. $6 for Naan are you kidding with customers. You should check the market first for prices almost double than other restaurant prices.
Good authentic food
Butter chicken is amazing! Everything is made from scratch including the naan bread, Id advise anyone to go there when they have lots of time as it takes a while for your food but its well worth the wait! Its out of the way so I think they need a bigger sign for travellers to find cause it is a must try!!
Fantastic food, great service. Would recommend to anyone looking for proper East Indian food.
Nice little restaurant, India food which Im not very familiar with but I know I like butter chicken so thats what I had. It was a little different than what I was expecting but I think it may have been more authentic as everyone working there was Indian. I liked it and would recommend, I did mention though that they may want to increase the amount of rice especially to the guys who come in. The lady said that if Id asked I could have had more, no problem. I said that the waitress didnt tell me but she seemed fresh off the plane and her English was a work in progress. All in all I would give this a yes.
Food tastes great , just longer wait is a hesitation
Since the dishes are freshly made, waiting time is too long.Other than that it is one of the good restaurants in town.
Amazing food, fully worth the long wait time. Expect to wait for your food.
This was so good, the butter chicken was amazing
Restaurant is not much to look at but who cares the food is divine
Very good, prices were good too.
Food was not good, service was good tho.
Great food all the time. Little bit of a wait for the food but always well worth it.
Fantastic home cook East Indian cuisine
Excellent food and service!!
Very authentic cuisine.
Very good, lots of favor. Fresh made food.
Wonderful experience, will return
The food is great here
Amazing food!
Authentic Indian Food
My wife has been trying to get me here for the last 7 years when we visit, not disappointed. Excellent food, great service, despite other reviews the wait wasnt as long as expected. Would recommend to friends and will return again.
Love the food great customer service
Amazing food & great service!
Great Indian food, the best Ive had outside of Birmingham area (area of England with lots of good Indian restaurants). The food is not particularly Americanised, which is definitely a good thing to me. The service is sometimes a little slow, quality a little inconsistent, and the decor is drab, but the food makes up for it.
