Hands down the worst east Indian cuisine I have ever had. There was absolutely no flavor whatsoever to either of our meals. My husbands butter chicken tasted like a can of tomato soup with heavy cream added no spices or nothing ! I had the palek paneer and again no flavor whatsoever. The samosas were inedible... absolutely disgusting. I was really disappointed, especially since the portion sizes are really small for the price you pay; I was atleast hoping it would be good, but nope its going in the trash ! Save your money if your looking for good east Indian cuisine, because this doesnt even come close.

Food is 4 star but 3 stars for portions to what you pay. Also watch what the waitress I puts into the handheld pay device and make sure it matches your bill.

Please don t encourage them that they make good Indian food My chicken Khurchan was horrible watery and tasteless mostly onion and veg. naan bread charge $4.25 for tiny dry piece of bread. Chef needs some cooking lessons to cook decent Indian Food

I used to love coming here. This will be my last visit. We were the only table in there and our food took almost an hour. My partner enjoyed his wrap but what is with the butter chicken? It was basically a creamy coconut soup. Incredibly disappointing. $5 for butter naan bread and it was completely dry. No residue on my fingers. How can it be butter naan if there is nothing on it? And the pieces were TINY! Complete rip off. We asked the server (who never was anywhere to be seen) and she confirmed it was buttered naan. Took 7-8 minutes to find someone to pay. Terrible food. Terrible service.

The butter chicken wrap I ate with just 3 small pieces chicken inside. Cost almost $20. But the reason for me to put a bad review on this restaurant is the food I ate made me sick all day vomiting and headache. I wouldnt eat there again.

I was excited to try some local Indian food, I came from surrey and was craving some curry bad! Lol.. I was thrown off as the price for a single portion is the same price as two full orders down south (33.50 for a small bowl & 2 naans here) *thought okay try it first* and 4 dollars a naan is insane lol the butter chicken did not taste like butter chicken - super creamy pepper flavor, like where was the masala? I feel ripped off and didnt get the taste I was looking for. (And even if I ordered medium or spicy Im sure there wouldnt be any difference)

Food quality was really bad. I was excited to try Indian food here but got disappointed.

We had a family dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was good. Dont be fooled by things like quesadillas on the menu. Hot house serves authentic Indian food that can compete with restaurants in big cities. Their Shahi Paneer deserves a special mention. The sauce had memorable flavour profile and paneer was done well.

Hot House is a must go in Terrace if you like Indian food. The food is always beautifully presented and delicious. I love the interior too its so classy. Perfect for date night, a casual meal or just treating yourself.

Went there a couple days ago and had nothing but great things to say afterwards. I payed with a gift card and I didn t realize till after I hadn t tipped. But we were served by a super kind charismatic guy named Alex. So huge shout out to this guy for being so great with customers. One of the best places to eat I m town 100%

This place never disappoints. One of my favourite spots in town. They make great Indian dishes that are pleasing to both the eye and the palate, they have a respectable drink selection as well. One of my go to spots for date nights Portions are neither huge nor small so dont hesitate about appetizers if you have a larger appetite. They let you order on a 1-10 spiciness scale to so you can find your sweet spot (or should I say heat spot)

Food we had was pretty sub par for Indian cuisine, mango chicken was intensely sweet and almost fake tasting and my friends lamb curry was mediocre for the price, naan was the same situation. Not worth the price for us

Amazing curry lamb dish

This is my favourite restaurant! You can get the staple dishes found at most East Indian restaurants, but it is the special dishes that make this a GREAT restaurant. The owners create fun fusion dishes and almost always have something unique, like butter chicken nachos, drunken ribs (red wine sauce that is HEAVENLY!) and an East Indian version of lasagna! The staff are always friendly and go the extra mile. When he can get away from the kitchen, Davinder will come out to greet and visit with the customers. This is a family owned business run by a dynamic husband and wife duo. Definitely try out this restaurant and be daring - try one of their delectable specials.

Considering its COVID, the pressures around social distancing, sanitization, etc, this little restaurant was quite busy. Food was just ok, but can highly recommend the korma. Had a meat samosas, Id skip that or try the veggie. A bit of a spendy place, but everything was super fresh, and customer service was really good.

Hot House has done it again! Introducing Chai Bread Pudding for dessert. After enjoying a delicious dinner of Butter Chicken Lasaga this dessert finished it off perfectly. Moist, sweet, sticky, goodness topped with fresh whipped cream. Thank you Davinder and Claudia on another dish well done!

The portions are extremely small and for $25 I didnt get enough food for a meal. I ordered a side of extra rice because I was hungry, it was $5.25 for a tiny container of plain white rice lol... Ill never go back, you could eat better at 7-11 for cheaper

Best Indian food in Terrace! Not just butter Chicken!

Fantastic vegan and vegetarian and meat choices they are ready to feed anyone with excellent and Delicious foods. The waitress was an excellent resource to this restaurant in her knowledge of what and how the menu can be manipulated for vegans and vegetarians looking for incredibly tasty foods.

Pretty sure my girlfriend got food poisoning from their butter chicken. I tried to phone them three times and inform them that they might potentially be giving people food poisoning, but they were more concerned with the dinner rush and were too busy potentially poisoning more customers to talk to me.

Terrace is very lucky to have this amazing restaurant this is something you would find not in Vancouver but TORONTO! Wow, cant say enough good things about the menu, the staff, the atmosphere, 1st class! Too bad there arent franchised.

The taste was great, portions were big enough to be full yet take home an amount, and the service was pleasant.

Food is Delicious - I tried 3 dishes and loved everyone. The prices are, I feel, very reasonable for what you are getting. One of my dishes was all you could eat for $8. I felt guilty by having 3 servings of it, and it was delicious.

Grate Indian cuisine. Veggie samosa and butter wrap were both delicious. Super busy at lunch time so come early to get a seat. Some booth seating which is better for conversations. Service was fast and friendly.
