I really loved this place! Our server was very nice and we barely had to wait for our food. The food was really good, but if youre a spice lover make sure to tell them. Their normal highest spice level is hot, but probably not the hot-hot youre looking for. The outside might need a bit of a powerwash, and the bathrooms arent 5 stars, but I really loved it here. 9/10, would recommend!

Lamb vindaloo was delicious. Spicy and the lamb was tender. Service was really kind too when pickup up my order.

Had a series of good visits but the last visit made us sick and we have not been back since. We ordered dishes with meat and dairy and started to feel off as we were eating. Borh went to the bathrrom, the womens room had no toilet paper. The mens room was not at all clean. We had walked to the restaurant, and on our way back our stomachs started to turn. We were sick for 24 hours. Now we check the health department ratings. The last rating in Nov 2023 has 2 violations: staff without FoodSafe 1 training, and potenially hazardous food storage above 4 degrees C. Seems like a friendly family operation that is trying, but getting people sick is irresponsible.

Friendly staff, quick service and very generous portion size.

They used to be good before. The prices have gone up and rightly so due to inflation but the quality has definitely gone down from what I know. Ordered their Biryani and there was hardly any meat in it for the quantity and price. Also usually at Indian restaurants they provide Raita with Biryani but here you need to ask and they charge you extra for it. Supported the family business before during my travels but not anymore.

Tasty food and good service

Brought home a meal for the family. I spent just over 100.00. Firstly there was not enough food to feed my family of four. But the rice dish was full of bone shards. Obviously less than impressive. Messaged them hoping they would fix the problem and there has been no response. Less than happy with the experience.

I am actually from Edmonton ab , i just came to terreace bc for my business reasons and i had craving for amritsari food or kind of amritsari breakfast then i call my buddy in terrace then he recommended me tandoori kababs amd now i can say that this the first time in canada in my 12 years best the best food and i can say best amritsari food in the town of terrace delicious super the best place to go to for real punjabi and amritsari food , very friendly and lovely staff plz visit guys if you want real food thnx uncle thnx auntie and thnx the super sweet abhishekh thnx for making my trip memorable

Best Indian food north of Prince George. I ve tasted almost everything on the menu and loved it but the stuffed parathas, pakoras and karahi chicken are my favourite. Service is super friendly also!

One of my favorite places to eat. The staff/owners are caring and helpful & the food is fabulous. Pakoras & chicken Tikka sizzler are our top choices for every visit. Highly recommend. The atmosphere is part of the charm. Vegetarian options: Lots of paneer and other vegetarian options. Vegetable pakora is great as well. Parking: Small parking lot but tons of street parking.

The poutine has got to be the worst poutine i have ever seen in all america .. 2-3 piece of cheese in a plate when it supposed to be full . As a Quebecer this is really insulting . The chicken was ok but 38$+ tips for a plate like this is a joke . Will never order again .

Hands down one of the best Indian cuisine places I have ever tried! The customer service is amazing and food is even better. Will definitely be frequenting Tandoori Kebabs. Kid-friendliness: Took my three kids 6, 4 and 2. Super accommodating and helpful.

Got the palak paneer and chicken biryani, and both were fantastic. Naan was also super delicious. The service was pretty ok, but the atmosphere was lacking. No standard decorative style which was odd, but also... The food was good so... Who cares, right!? Sorta... There was no one else in the restaurant, and the flies were so terrible that it made the eating experience undesirable. Ill get take out next time.

Had a meal with the crew after work. Took forever to get drinks. Our food wr had to order and keep retelling them what we ordered as they forgot? Or were confused? . I never ended up getting my meal after waiting 2.5 hours. They just made it to go. The service here is terrible. The food is decent.

We ended up here unintentionally - and are so glad we did! Classic Indian food, every single dish we ordered was delish, hot, fresh tasting, and arrived quickly. We werent sure as the decor is very basic. Dont let it fool you - the service is friendly and attentive, and the food is yum. We will be returning.

:) - Amazing taste, good portion, and friendly staff :( - Very slow service. Only one person serving, for many take-out orders and dine-ins. 10 mins for initial order to be taken, food came out in 20 mins which was good, and I ordered Chai tea after I finished my meal, I waited 30 minutes for a cup of tea. Im not sure if the server was just a helper or a regular staff. The menu I initially wanted to try and the second choice were not available at the moment and Im okay with it, but he pointed another menu and kept saying they are the same thing. All those three menus are not the same, and that wasnt very helpful. They also deliver in Terrace, the server said the delivery fee is maybe $5 but not sure. I loved the food but their service has room to improve.

Dinner was delicious. It s so unusual to find great food in a place so far from home. The lamb and spinach were perfectly spiced I ordered #3. I wil definitely come back when in town.

Food is always good, but they mixed our order up the last time in a way they should be on top of. My Food was requested to be made #2 spicy, and my husbands #5 extra hot. They mixed the two up. Very disappointed especially since we didnt realize until back home in PR.

Just stopped in for a sweet lassi, garlic naan, and chicken malai tikka. So good, the naan was perfect, chicken was flavourful and filling, lassi was great. Friendly service too, thanks guys!

Authentic East Indian food and great service. I ordered Biriyani, I was away from Terrace and planned to reach Terrace a little later than closure of the restaurant. They offered me service to deliver the food as their last delivery so that the food kept warm.

Reviews online seemed so good yet the food we got did not reflect what others have said. Rice was dry and seemed day old. Chicken vindaloo was excessively salty overpowering any of the flavour. The dalh seemed to not have much spices and the ocra dish was very mushy with little taste. I am hoping I just caught this place on an off day as it came with recommendations. We got takeout so maybe dining in has better luck. Staff was nice and friendly.

Meal was meh. Chicken vindaloo was so oily and salty. Okra was ok. My celiac partner did not get poisoned but he complained forever about how disappointing it. Not sure what was worse, the food or the complaining Vegetarian options: Definitely vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Celiac person in party could eat here

Not sure if there s been a shift in ownership, cause I remember when this place was organized, on the ball and clean. Now it seems they re just trying to keep it together. Curry is good but took a long time to get. I know it was a busy night but the order of things was odd. We ordered 3 Indian salads to start and they came last. It was just chopped lettuce, tomatoe, and onion with masala spice on it. I could have done that and at a much cheaper price. The chicken fingers I ordered for my toddler had to be from the frozen department in the grocery store cause chicken inside was ground grey mush. The kind you find in no name bags at Wholesale club. I asked for ketchup and they gave me expired ketchup. I totally get it s an Indian restaurant and what I ordered for my kid was western food, but make a higher quality chicken finger and get rid of the old ketchup doesn t seem like I m asking for much. We ordered the tandoori sizzler which was good. And lamb curry which was cold, wasn t hot served. Sent it back. Came back hot. Everything tastes good but in small portions. Theres just something missing from this place. With the price you are paying, in my opinion there s better Indian places to go to in Terrace. Vegetarian options: Variety

Delicious food! Thankfully they have a few vegan options. Aloo gobi, dal and pakora were my favorites.

Taste is very good. We ordered Malai kofta which was tasty but expect enough number of Koftas in it which is sufficient to eat with at least 2 parathas. So much gravy with just 2 balls of kofta in it. Not enough kofta for 2 people dinner.

Last time I go there there is better option , I know inflation hurts small business but this beyond ridiculous it s almost a scheme. They cut down the portion on meat and rice and give you plenty of sauce i almost thought I ordered a soup. Honestly last time they get my money I hate feeling robbed.

Had this chicken tikka sizzler at Tandoori Kabobs restaurant in Terrace back on Sept 7th /22. I have been to lot of Indian restaurants where it it did not not come sizzling but this place knows how to do it right. It was very good. I didn t even order dinner is was so filling with a triple shot of Jamesons shot with one rock. Get it with onions only on the cast iron. Onions cook on the cast iron. Ask for extra lot cast iron. Trust me you won t be disappointed.

Thank you for such an amazing dinner! It was no easy feat with an entire hockey team and their parents. The service was organized and great. The food was amazing! I was worried it would be too spicy, but it was perfect! The fish and chips were incredible. Will absolutely come again.

Love this place. Lived in Terrace for just over a year, and Ive tried it all. The food and the service keep me coming back every two weeks, if not once a week. Palack chicken is the best Ive ever had. Aloo Gobi is great too. Come try it for yourself.

Very good curry, vindaloo is excellent just spicy wasnt as spicy as Id hoped. Good portions, naan is a little spicy but just get your own and its an excellent deal. Only bad thing is the double tip if you order online then pay in restaurant.

Don t be put off by the outside appearance of Tandoori Kebab. The food is fantastic! We have enjoyed East Indian in the BC Okanagan, on Vancouver Island as well as in the USA and in Thailand, but this little gem of a restaurant has a unique flavour that we enjoyed more than any other East Indian restaurant ever! Dine in or take out, the service is very friendly. 4 stars only because of limited staffing we had to wait a bit for our order to be taken.

Didn t like it at all i have been everywhere from toronto to vancouver but the fish is not upto what you expect in this price. Too expensive and not that good

The staff is nice and sweet. The food we usually order is good too. However, talking about food i ordered veg pakodas and there was too much salt in all of them. Its very hard to eat them with too much salt. I hope when we order next time, it would be better :)

The food is usually amazing!! But my experience has always been eat in or pick up. I decided to order delivery and that experience was horrible. The food was cold and we had to reheat it. The total of my bill was $85 and change, I gave the driver $100 and he walked away. No offer of my change back (not that I wouldnt have given him a tip or told him to keep it). Will never order take out again from there

I ordered for delivery on Friday, the first of October. I ordered butter chicken, two Naan, and a pakora for a nice dinner at home with my partner. When we ordered, woman who answered the phone said our food would be delivered in 30 minutes. We waited an hour and then called to ask how long it would take, a man insisted that we didnt place an order, or that we placed it at a different location. My partner told him that he had spoken with a woman and she took his name, number and address. The man seemed quite confrontational and angry when we insisted we had ordered. When the man handed the woman the phone, she first said that she never took our order, and then she said that it was for pick up. She then told us that if we want delivery itll be 45 minutes, or we can pick it up. We told her we werent going to pick it up, because it had had sitting there for so long unless they could remake it and deliver. She insisted it just got out of the kitchen and has been sitting for 5 minutes. If it was for pick up at 630, and it was 7, how would it be sitting for 5 minutes, we asked. She got quite aggressive, started yelling over the phone and hung up on us. I order from tandoori kababs at least 3 times a month. But lately Ive been getting terrible service.. Im extremely disappointed.

I enjoyed my meal very much. Flavour was excellent and so was the service.

We went to Tandoori tonight for dinner and overall, it was fantastic. We got our vax cards and ID at the ready and our server, Gurbandan, looked them over very well and had us sign in. That was a major plus that they aim to keep their employees and patrons safe. We saw a couple of tables with patrons and we thought it might be a wait, so we were thinking of leaving, but then we had our water and tea! We ordered our food (Mike had Butter Chicken with a 4 heat and I ordered the Coconut Chicken with a 2 heat) The food came in really good time and it was hot and delicious. Gurbandan looked after us very well throughout our meal. The cook(s) also made our meal memorable. Awesome young man Gurbandan.! I would like to say dhanyavaad! Full tummies and happy now! Please visit and have a fantastic meal with awesome service.

Excellent. I came here last minute with my girlfriend as part of our date night and was well accommodated even though it was close to closing time. We were made to feel relaxed and at home as we were assured to take our time to select from the amazing food choices. Our host was jovial and delightful, a friend of sorts. I dont even think it mattered what we had off the menu because when the dishes arrived one was even more succulent than the last. My only regret is that I did not order enough take away food to bring home. I will be back.

Fantastic food. The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala are absolutely incredible. The food here is as good as places down south in Surrey. Portions and price are reasonable. Service is good too.

Overall it was enjoyable. Coming from toronto it was below average, it didnt taste like fresh ingredients, tasted like canned vegetables which is fine, and the curry definitely tasted a bit muted, I think they have to adjust to the palate up here. Also the 4 on the spicy scale tasted like a 2.5, but for a northern canadian curry it was fine.
