Just had an amazing dinner at Back Edy’s, and I’ve got to say, their burgers might just rival The Pub’s. If you haven’t been, you need to check it out. Amber was awesome, and the place is under new ownership since Gus passed. Definitely worth a visit!
Service is but portions are way to small now for the price!!!!!!!! Good service doesn't make up for small portions. The size of this 3 piece dinner cut in half for the same price!!!!!!!
Save yourself the disappointment and crazy amount of time. Dinner experience 2.5 hours. Service is a disaster. Never again. Waitress couldn’t have worked harder but there was one of her. Go anywhere else.
I ordered the mixed appy platter, burnt ribs,dried out chicken wings. Zucchini was amazing. They had to call to see if I paid after I left, thankfully I had kept a receipt.
The food was great, but the waitress was very chatty with other workers and only hung out at the bar. I was disappointed. I had expected more with this German establishment. But I will say the food was awesome.
Came just before dinner rush . We were in a corner that was hard to see. Server was on second day. Couldn't write our order down so came back to make sure she got our order right. She did an excellent job of checking that we were happy with the meal, brought extra sauce when we asked. My second visit. Will not be my last.
I only have this place 4 stars because we were asked to leave at 10pm on a Saturday night because they were closing. I've never been in a pub that closed so early on Saturday. Aside from that the service was good and food was great. Prices were reasonable. I had a burger which was take good and my wife had fish and chips

The lady manager working was the nicest lady we met in town. She is a local and spent time answering our questions and making us feel welcome and at home.
Normally I like back eddy pub but this time it failed so right away i got good service but afterwards I waited an hour to ask for 1 more drink the server went around me several times not asking if I would like something else so disappointed. So I left with no tip.

I came to watch the game and just to enjoy the food and atmosphere and they did not disappoint.
Do yourself a favor and skip it. The burger I ordered took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive at the table, so I got it to go. Took three bites and threw it out. And the poutine was inedible. Save yourself the hassle. Go anywhere else.

Generally have a good experience here. Older pub style dining. Good food with generous portions. Caesar salad, salmon croissant are favorites.

Good food. Terrible service. Waiting 30 minutes for each drink. And the waitress added money onto my bill!! I ordered a sirloin steak that was $31 on the menu and when I get the bill it showed up as $35!!? Ridiculous.

Worst place in town. Order a ribeye steak got some sort of a T bone steak. Ribeyes dont have bones. Server was a incompetent to say the lest . To bad Ive heard good thing. It didnt happen for me

Ill start with the bathroom in mens unsure why there some sticker on the wall im not even gona explain what it shows however i sure hope they remove it its on the door on the way out of the bathroom very inappropriate.. service was very good ladys were awesome.. food well everyone elses looked very good mine was a platter that was prudy much deep fried mushrooms about 14 to be exact prudy much covered the whole plate 3 lil bites of chicken a few zucchini wasnt gona complain the ladys were just to nice to complain about food.

The mushroom Neptune was one of the best things I ve eaten in my life. Order it. Also the service was fantastic and they had local beer (Sherwood) on tap. Will be going back next time I m in Terrace.

Absolutely the Best Steak Sandwich that I have ever had. Medium rare was cooked to perfection, and the french fries were to die for. I highly recommend this out of the way restaurant. My girlfriend had vegetarian lasagna and said it was excellent and she highly recommends it as well.
Had a lunch there, they offer business lunch set menu includes steak & sides. Quality is ok for the price but service can be faster specially for business lunch time.

Very disappointed, the place was definitely in need of an overhaul cleaning, our food was kind of bland and unappealing. The place was not busy but it just felt sub- par. I hope it gets back to its former standards

This place needs a makeover. I have been coming here for years on my annual visits to Terrace. It appears that nothing has been refreshed. I would start by building a patio out front where the parking spots are (especially now that outdoor dining is encouraged). However, the servers are always friendly and the pub food is OK.
Good place for a quick beer or two
Food was adequate. As previous poster stated, why dont they make a patio out front to accomadate for current times. Also noticed none of the staff wearing masks. Dont they care about the health of their customers?

Iconic. Note the trophies in the restaurant upstairs. The wine cabinet in the restaurant is also impressive, something you wouldnt really expect so far north in BC. Ive been coming back again and again for over 20 years.

This place was awesome. Had some work dink call me ta bring the truck back to the hotel right in the middle of me waiting on, what turned out to be, one of the best halibut dinners Ive had in a restaurant...so the waitress had the cook hold off on my food till I got back. Pretty cool if ya ask me. Bringing the wife there on vacation one day soon. Hidden Gem! a must go! Thanks to Eddy for letting us win at pool

Fast service for drinks
The chicken in the teriyaki stir fry was really tender, and Im glad they let me substitute rice for the noodles. Ive always enjoyed their Halibut and Salmon dinners, quite tasty if your looking for seafood, they also make a good mushroom cap appetizer. Varied menu from appetizers to hamburgers, seafood and other delicious menu items. Atmosphere is usually low key, although they do have a pool table, and a few different games you can play while eating, keno, pull tabs, poker game on the TV (animated) that you can bet on etc etc Oh and did I mention, you can also have yourself a bottle or pint of your favorite alcoholic beverage while you enjoy the various games. No kids allowed of course.

Nice place, at the time though waitresses were having a bad day and unfortunately it showed in their attitude. Gave the place another try and this time the server was very helpful and professional. Tried the burger and it was made with fresh beef and loaded with bacon, very good, Caesar OK, unfortunately the fries were just ordinary.
Charged $16 for a double gin and soda. Rediculous!

The food I had from the back eddy pub was not good at all. Ive never posted anything about a restaurant in my life!! The food we all had was under cooked, including the appies. Our waitress was polite but said all the cook said was yuk when we sent the appies back
