Southeast Asian Restaurant.
There was two of us and we were seated right away. The meal was WAY better than expected. The prices were the best for Chinese food in town and I would say better than anyplace else. The atmosphere was nice, and clean, not too loud, and the service was fantastic. Very accommodating. I also got some food to go, and it was a lot bigger portions than the other popular spots. Surprisingly a great eating out experience. Will definitely make this place a regular place to go. Highly recommend!
I enjoyed my order here, it was delicious but I'm not giving it 5 stars because the pork was tough/dry and just hurt my jaw chewing it. Other than that, the food tasted good!
Wow great service nice atmosphere... great food such fast service.
Sat down waited 10 mins for a menu and wasn’t busy at all. Food is way over priced for what you get. Pho is not pho it’s onion water with 3 little pieces of old beef. Would be a bad deal for $5 was $18 and the vermicelli bowl was even worse, dry noodles, horrible nuoc Cham (fish sauce) and the spring rolls are rice paper but have Chinese fillings. The meat was old and gross. Was big enough to fill up a 5 year old and was $18. Sad to see what people settle for in terrace.
I love the sea food soup . Its my comfort food when I feel low or the weather is cold. The taste is very delicious, portion size is great and taste consistent since day one . Highly recommend the combo meals too. Always a pleasure and great food experience.
Came in to have some Pho with my wife. The server was nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is fine, pretty wallpapers. However, the food was the most disappointing part, and it was the worst pho we have ever tried. My wife ordered pho with sliced beef and beef balls, and I ordered the satay special pho. My wife's broth tasted just awful "pool water", as my wife described it. When I tasted it, it almost tasted soapy. Then the beef. Look at that photo. We came in shortly after opening, and this beef looks like it had a 5 week long shift work building pipeline and then came back to our plate. It was old, dry, and not tasteful. The beef balls also had a weird taste to them as if they were not fresh. When paying almost 16$ for a bowl of soup, you would expect better quality ingredients. Maybe this place is better for other dishes, but I would not recommend this place to anyone for Pho.
Dang! This was delicious! Trust me - I’m a professional at eating. This food is ready to be eaten. 10 star service 10 star food and a 10 star feeling afterwards on my wallet. I will surely come back every time I find myself in Terrace. We had a bunch of vegetarian food and it was super delicious.
The beef pho and Hong Kong style fried noodle is pretty good. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Good spot for a quick meal and something different for Terrace.
Me and my family of 5 waited for over 40 minutes. Poeple who recently came in around 10 minutes, was served first. Not to mention it wasnt busy at all:( Bamboo went down hill unfortunately.
Had the Pad Thai & Muscles they were wonderful overall & Service was great definitely wanna try the Pho next time Im in Town
Ordered to go, combos were delicious, and decent serving size. Will definitely go again next time I am in town!
My new favorite place for fresh veggies and spice!
Not bad! Except I would rather of had fresher veggie! The broccoli was soft. And old. But the taste was great! Food
Was my first time. Looking forward to my second time.
Went for pho, it was ok. A bit bland. Good fast service, decor was good.
Excellent food and service
Nice place decent prices decent prices
Ive tried a couple of Asian restaurants and Ive found that their pricing is more reasonable for the portion sizes, they are quick with preparing your order and the food doesnt sit in your gut like a lot of fried food restaurants seem to do for me Parking: Dont park in the lot if you own anything bigger than an SUV
The Hong Kong noodles are to die for, amazing flavor and fresh veggies. I also really enjoy the worwonton. They always have friendly fast service. I recommend giving this place a try
Just wish they didnt put dishes with fish sauce in the vegetarian section of the menu. Fish isnt vegetarian.
For my taste buds... Ive had better tasteing food
Ordered takeout to a hotel and they did not provide utensils! There was no way for me to eat the food. Horrible service.
Ordered take out, pad Thai and a spring roll. Pad Thai noodles were stuck together and pasty with no flavour. Spring roll greasy and over done. Disappointed!
Not the greatest they charge to much for the quality of the food The chow main was bad over cooked noodles the ribs tasted all Freezer burnt fatty fried rice wasnt good either only thing that was good was the soda I got I will not be returning here
Ordered dinner for two plus chow menu for delivery. Didn t receive the chow mein but was charged for it. The food was cold and was no where near as good as the first time we ordered. This restaurant has gone down hill will not be ordering from Bamboo House again Vegetarian options: Not much in the way of vegan options Dietary restrictions: Not much in the way of options
This place is a joke staff have no idea what they are doing
Meals are delicious. Got to try the soups
Tandoori is always great. They have an extensive menu of authentic Indian food. Staff is friendly and pricing is decent for the size of portions.
Not bad good be better
The best Asian restaurant in the town. Fresh ingredients, authentic taste, great service.
Very good noodle soup.so yummy
The food was very delicious the server/hostess Jun was very friendly. I highly recommend this establishment for southeast Asian food.
The food was tasty, loved the variety and flavour of every dish was fairly well done. Just a tad salty for most dishes, unfortunately.
Great food, really fast, and excellent quality.
Probably the worst Asian food I have ever eaten. A worm in the vegetables, tasteless noodles and the cashew chicken tasted old. Only good thing to eat were the fortune cookies. One positive thing: they have been fast in delivering.
Ive gone there a few times and everytime the food Ive ordered has been amazing! Keep up the good work you guys!
Great mobile ordering experience, great portions, and delicious food
A police officer advised us that the Bamboo House had the best Asian (fusion) food in Terrace and we were glad we took her advice. Great food, tasty, fresh and good portions.
The soup I got was really good it was a suggestion from the waitress it was there because I had never been there. It was so much soup that I had to share it with other people. good job!
The Pad Thai was gross, all I tasted was seafood, yes it came with shrimp but the whole dish tasted of seafood. I was so excited to try this because I usually get Singapore and I wanted to try something different. But no...
Excellent restaurant with a nice selection of Asian dishes. Impeccably clean and very friendly staff. We ll be back
Good food, great team there, really enjoyed our meal there .
Finally a good Chinese food restaurant in Terrace. I had lost hope since we moved here in 2017. The Chinese food was all flavorless and drab. Too used to Chinese food from the interior or the coast. Now the Bamboo House is here and they do it right. Great Job. Keep it up. You are my destination for Chinese food going forward. Thank God!
Not cheap but good food Kid-friendliness: Id like more kid foods on here cuz some kids are picky
The Best food in the town!!!
Sezchuan Style Prawns I expected VS I actually got. Very classic western Chinese restaurant
Great food, love their deep friend spring rolls and lemon grass chicken with vermicelli. Place is very clean and the staff are friendly.
The staffs was very friendly and will inform on the different dishes. The food was great.
Very clean. Pleasant staff attentive yet not hovering. Served hot and tasted delicious I will be going back to try the pho. Pleasant change.
Delicious food, fast service, very clean. Welcome to Terrace, Bamboo House!!
Amazing food! Good prices! Definitely would recommend
This is another version of the now defunct Italian restaurant that closed to make way for Tandoori House. Zero ambiance and opening before the liquors licence comes through. Its called bamboo house yet it feels like hospital waiting room its so sterile in there! How much does it cost to buy 500 plastic pieces of bamboo and some Asian decorations on Ali express? $200? Yet another do just enough to call it a restaurant effort in terrace. Why can no one actually do it properly in this town? A restaurant isnt just about food. Its about the experience. If this place signs up for Spyce they may survive. If not theyll last a couple of months before going under for doing just enough. Shame, because weve been really wanting a Vietnamese restaurant here. Put some effort into it and do it properly!
Great food and as close to the real deal as Ive had in BC. Service was quick and super friendly, plates were tasty and plentiful. Would definitely recommend this place. The guy that gave them a 1 star is a fool, sure its a large restaurant and it is rather empty inside. However, its clean, comfortable, and most importantly DELICIOUS!
Delicious food, not greasy, dinner for two was enough for three. Will definitely order from here again. We ordered for take out was ready in 20 minutes.
Had pho, super disappointed. The broth is not pho broth, there is nary a hint of any pho aromatics such as anise star, clove or cinnamon. Just salty liquid. Meat is scarce for the the price. Everything about this is wrong. Its not even a good counterfeit pho. Like this didnt even come with basil, a fundamental basic of pho. I feel as though Ive been robbed for 18 dollars, yes thats right 18 dollars. I had to go to McDonalds after just to ease the turmoil of my pallate.
Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious, especially the Orange Chicken!
