Godzilla roll is tasty very saucy with a nice crunch. Crunchy crab and Alaska rolls were delicious with the real crab. Wife enjoyed her fancy mocktail.

Food and service were great.

Started off like they didnt trust me and put me in the back. Then she asked if I want soya sauce and never brought it till I finally had to ask after looking around a few times. Food was ok but a bit expensive. Then I got the bill and it was twice what it should have been so I looked closer and it was a different bill. I wouldnt trust them and I wont be back.

We love to go to blue fin and its the best in terrace. But tonight was horrible. Waited 40 minutes for sushi. Oh well I can forgive that for good sushi. The sushi didnt have cucumber, it had asparagus which made it taste weird, was not packed very nice and 1/2 the Size it usually is and we spent over $100. My husband complained and all they said was oh well sorry about that. First time we left hungry and went home to have a real dinner.

Excellent customer service. Tables were properly arranged for social distancing purposes. Menus are nicely columned. Volcano and the Vegetable udon were terrific! (We added chicken to it) There is a foyer for the customers to stay to wait to be seated. Good job!

I didn t really like the food but the server was nice

Food and service is wonderful, the staff are happy, actually like each other and working there and know my order at this point. Has a wonderful atmosphere as well. There are other things to eat aside from sushi with seafood in it as well (I am allergic) so there are options.

Always great service and food, with a nice setting. The food comes quick, is delicious and the sushi is priced well compared to anything in Kitimat. One of our favorite spots in Terrace for sure!

By far, one of, if not the best, dining experiences in Terrace. The variety of rolls offered is phenomenal, rolls themselves are super interesting too. The chef fuses different cuisines in a roll form (like the Greek roll) and makes truly some fantastical dishes. Ive been to this place 4 times already and will continue coming. Sunomono is my and my wifes favorite, and tuna tataki is a must try as well. Cant miss with rolls. it takes a bit of time to find which one is your favorite, Bermuda is my current favorite at the moment. Dietary restrictions: The menu has a separate gluten-free section, and staff are very good at offering certain rolls with modifications to make items gluten-free.

Great place for lunch, the volcano roll, YES

Booked a table for Saturday 8th April through Google reservations. Confirmed the day before. Traveled 2 hours to find out the restaurant was closed for Easter weekend. Very poor.

We came in from out of town, and Blue Fin was easily the most recommended place when asking the locals about good food. The selection is wide, and our whole crew enjoyed the meal. The service and atmosphere were great as well.

The sushi was amazing. I tried their Bermuda, Cruncy Crab, Sexy Kathy, and Godzilla rolls. I was very happy with my choices. As an appetizer I ate the Takoyaki. It was delicious. I recommend it. Everything on the menu looked good, so I will be going back to try new items.

Fit us in right before closing time, were informative and helpful about them closing soon and when they would need to take an order by. Excellent food and delicious drinks. Friendly and attentive staff, didnt pressure us about leaving the restaurant after close.

I wish I say better things about this place, as it used to be very good, now.... not so much! The prawn Tempura tastes like its from a box, as well as the gyozas. The Wasabi was a hard glue texture and felt very old. The crab in the Alaska Roll was off. Over all for the price and quality, i wont be back again. The servers on the other hand worked their butts off, but there was still always a bunch of dishes sitting on the line, waiting to go to table.... and it wasnt very busy when we went.

Server was a delight, chatted us up and knew the menu, had several helpful suggestions. Service was very quick, all dishes arrived very quickly, but at the right times.

Food was sensational! Would absolutely go back there. Service was a little slower than I would have liked, but in the end we got what I showed up for. Great tasting food.

Went here on a recommendation from my son. Food was excellent, service was Fantastic and the wait was minutes for a large order. Definitely a must if passing through Terrace!

Okayyyy what a gem!! Not from Terrace but visiting. I ve been to A LOT of sushi spots across the province and this has to be one of the BEST spots I ve ever been to. The atmosphere is quite elevated in my opinion. Could make a great spot for an elevated birthday dinner. The food was SOOO GOOD. And the service was really great! Thank you for having us!

Visiting from Vancouver for work, I was little skeptical however, I was impressed with quality of sashimi, however service can be improved.

Tasty and filling Sushi. I only tried the fried Sushi rolls but they were delicious. Very good green tea as well. Service was fine and the atmosphere was okay but could be a bit brighter and more original. Parking: Free parking lot across the street.

Everything was good!

This is my favourite place to eat in Terrace. I love the half Volcano roll. The food is great, but what I loved the most about my last experience was the service. Sheila was impeccable. So nice to be taken such good care of on a night out. She was the picture of perfect dining etiquette, and her personality and professionalism were polished and on point. When I come back, I will ask for her every time.

Delicious, hand rolled sushi. The halibut is absolutely delicious, it comes with a wasabi mayonnaise for dropping. My favourite roll is called yammalicious, tempura yams rolled with other fresh vegitabl3s adds a slight crispness that feels like a party going on in your mouth. Thank you Bluefin!

The food was super good! We loved it, our only issue was the wait time between dishes but you can overlook this because the food is really good. The price is surprisingly fair. Would definitely recommend. Food : 5/5

Food was good, but took a long time to get it

Very bland, whomever does their rice prep needs to reevaluate the quality. Regular steamed rice is not the same as properly prepared sushi rice.

Awesome place to eat and drink in town!!

I have to admit, sushi wasnt the first food category on my mind when I was visiting Terrace, BC in the middle of January. It was recommended to us hands down by a server at our daily breakfast joint so on our last night we tried it out. The only negative was that we waited until the last night to try it. Food was great and the sushi very fresh. The menu has loads of variety and the staff are very upbeat and friendly. Lots of fun. The environment is cozy and relaxed and they do a great job of managing social distancing without making it feel like its an inconvenience in any way. Really well run with great food, great staff and a great atmosphere. I only wish we found it sooner.

Every meal has been fantastic

My friend and I got very ill after ordering $90 in take out sushi, they forgot a roll and when I called to tell them they offered to make another one but at this point I really didnt want to drive all the way back. They said I could pick it up on the following Tuesday when they were open again. On Tuesday when I spoke to them telling them about how sick we got and Id rather pass on the extra roll, the girl automatically just said we dont give refunds here. I wasnt asking for a refund, only just trying to tell them that their food made two people very sick and they should look into why. Overall we threw out $50 worth of sushi, got very sick and then we got a very poor response to our concerns, incredibly disappointed.

Not a good experience. I would not return. The waitresses only ever brought us our dishes and did not come back to check on us once, which would normally be fine, except 3 out of the 4 dishes we ordered were messed up. After waiting for 15 minutes for a simple miso and udon soup we had to sent them back since they were completely cold not even warm. Once we got our main dishes the teriyaki didn t taste good and even though we ordered from the vegetarian menu the the sushi roll we got was completely covered with fish eggs. The lack of service didn t even allowed us to get a different one and my girlfriend ended up just eating a miso soup. We had to go to the entrance to pay just so we could leave. Rather go to ninja sushi which is just across the street.

Everything was absolutely fantastic!! Every time were in town we make a point to come by and it never disappoints!

Everything was good, except for the Salmon Nigiri I ordered. Tasted like the rice was washed with dish soap. Same thing happened the last time I ordered Salmon Nigiri. Wouldnt complain if it was a one time thing, but had to spit it out both times.

Amazing little sushi spot. Really fresh and tasty. They have a small selection of sake and Japanese beer which is nice. Toro is always a favorite and they use real crab in most of not all of there rolls as well as sockeye salmon, not farmed fish. Ill definately be back!

Good service, had the volcano, Bermuda roll, and seafood tempura. All were good, seafood fresh and well done. Unfortunatly the sunomo salad was subpar, noodles were wrong texture and liquid not quite right. dont get me wrong, this is an above average place but, I feel sorry for terrace if this is the #2 restaurant on trip advisor.

Blue fin is always one of my favorite places to visit in Terrace. Its a clean, friendly environment with delicious food every time.

Top shelf service and sushi. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was fairly busy, but not a bad wait. I will be going back again when I get a chance.

Love the food, love the ambiance. Theyre doing an excellent job of keeping the space covid friendly! They were quite busy at the time and there were some moments where we needed to chase a waitress down to get soy sauce, napkins chopsticks etc. However they were still all very friendly. Definitely recommend!

High end city style sushi in the great white north. Well executed, range of classic and specialty rolls with a killer drink menu. Staff is friendly and prompt service as they are no longer under staffed whene Best to make reservations durring peak hours as theyre busy!

I had the Volcano, it was good, as was my green tea. The Wasabi was oddly tame but I was able to fix that by using a larger quantity. I wouldnt recommend the agedashi tofu. Service was fine

Great modern sushi

the only reason im not giving this place a 1 star is because it was a treat from my manager. am i missing something? how come the rating is so high when all the rolls we ordered taste exactly the same? all i could taste was sesame seed. use less not cover the whole thing up with it! these rolls also have weird shape like they should be round not square. i can only doubt that it was made using a sushi gadget from ebay. also the sashimi was ok but looked like it was carved by a 3year old with a plastic knife. absolutely dreadful. i shouldnt be picky and wasnt expecting much coming from vancouver but this was just tragic... sigh

Delicious sushi at reasonable prices. The quality and flavor is on par, or better, than a sushi place in a larger city. Worth going to if youre in Terrace and are a sushi fan.
