Great food and service!

Its rare that I publish reviews, but this one comes from my heart and how much Ive noticed an unparalleled improvement for this restaurant! It had been a good 2-3 years since I had been there. I had a perfect evening with three people. Our server, Will, contributed to our great experience, he is beyond perfect. We wont hide the fact that this restaurant is still quite expensive but the quality, quantity, atmosphere and service were up to par. We noticed very good teamwork and feel the bosses behind their staff are positive and happy. It was so good and pleasant. Congratulations, we will come back

We went for our Christmas dinner... everything was perfect!

Very ordinary ribs, nothing flamboyant

There is ample parking so it is very positive and easy to find. It was clean. On the other hand, my experience was very unpleasant, especially for the first time in this restaurant. Plus the food is too expensive for the quality we received. So Im going to be generous and give 1 star for on-site parking and 1 star for the waitress. No one likes their cooking for their food, we didnt receive our starters and dinner super late. And whats more, we had to hurry to eat because there was a reservation later... We only had 2 hours to eat but the joke is that I received my starter and my dinner at the same time when the 2 hours were up. Obviously he was so stressed about the late reservation that we were never offered coffee or dessert so we didnt have to pay because there was another group waiting. Yes, the manager didnt charge me for the late wait but I find it inconceivable that no one at my table was eating at the same time. In addition to their epipen expiring for 4 years To finish, our waitress was great, I know that the problem is in the kitchens but oh well. I wouldnt go back there unfortunately.

How to turn an awkward situation into WOW effect I booked with my wife for 6:00 p.m. Friday November 1, 2024. Our meals took a long time to receive. There was a crowd in the restaurant. Our waitress Marianne came to inform us and apologize three times for the unusual delay. When our dishes were ready, they were served by the manager (I think) and he apologized and mentioned that he took the blame, that the waitress had nothing to do with it. Also another lady serving on the floor (maybe the manager/owner) also came to apologize. In the end, the waitress offered us a desert free of charge but we werent really hungry anymore. We were asked to take the leftovers home. When Marianne came back with the dishes for the house, she had added not one but two desserts Well, the service was long, that happens but the way the staff handled it . We were impressed No need to tell you that we are very happy and will definitely return to Bâton Rouge de Lachenaie

The food was really mediocre, the potato hot and the ribs frozen! The restaurant was frigid and I was always hot. The menu is no longer like before, fewer choices smaller portions. Hot Cinnamon Apples are gone. Very disappointing.

Received my drink 15 minutes after the other people at my table, all melted ice. Took the seafood pasta, it was good but the shrimps were way overcooked, they were very hard.

Its been a long time since Ive been and I recommend it!! We enjoyed Drinks worthy of a 5 star restaurant and above, they were delicious, well filled and actually had alcohol in them! As for the food, everything was very good and delicious!!! I 100% recommend the salmon tartare as a starter!! Its the best Ive tasted! Exceptional service too!! We will definitely go back!

About the food I have nothing to say it was excellent the steak was tender it melted in the mouth, the service was also pleasant with a smile. On the other hand side of the portion I was disappointed, a small quantity of fries and 2 pieces of broccoli!! It costs nothing for fries and vegetables!!

Have a reservation for my 30th birthday. From poverty to having water. Nice waitress but clearly overwhelmed by the evening. They threw away the balloons before the restaurant closed, we called back. $80 balloon in the trash. Dry ribs. Very bad experience

We were there for my birthday. The beef ribs were cold but they immediately took charge of the plates to bring them back to us perfect, while apologizing. As there were several of us at the table, this is a situation that can happen. The food was excellent and so was the service.

We went to the Cirque du Soleil, a very beautiful show.

Good place to eat and have a drink, however the space at the tables is a little too tight for someone tall enough. The coleslaw leaves something to be desired and the chicken fillets have too much breading for the quantity of chicken and the Caesar salad had so little sauce that we could hardly say it was one. The price of drinks is totally exaggerated. The rest of the food was ok nothing more, for the price I expected better. I will definitely return but it is not my favorite restaurant.

For me it remains the best ribs!

Ribs plater keeps getting smaller and smaller. 2nd time I went this year and a full rack seemed like a half rack both times. And my wifes roast beef sandwich had so much fat on it, she spent half her time separating the fat. Unenjoyable. I will no longer go as it seems they are cutting the portions and increasing the prices at the same time.

It was an order to bring to a party. We tasted with pleasure. It was really tasty and well packaged. Thank you very much The photos dont do justice to the excellent taste. On the other hand, it shows that the lobster tails had a little meat portion smaller than in the reviews/photos from 1 year ago. The other dishes/portions were perfect. I suggested aluminum packaging to put in the oven for a little 15 minutes. The stove did not affect the texture.

Please next time you see a person with a water bottle at your restaurant, just politely ask if its for a medical issue. My mom always takes bottles with her, because she has to take medicines with food. No place has taken issue with her until she visited your establishment. One of the staff members came over to tell her its not allowed and didnt ask why she had it. He then asked her if she understood, and she was too surprised to answer. We have traveled all over the world, and eaten in all kinds of places. Generally, staff will either dismiss it if she has a water bottle, and if not, ask why. Neither happened in this case, which we found a little strange. Food was ok, but the cod was a little overcooked. The lobster poutine was very tasty. We also enjoyed our creme brulee dessert. Service was on the slow side, but it was Sunday. Our table was waited on by three different people, so there seems to be no shortage of staff. Not sure if well be going back, because its a few hours away from home.

We had a reservation at 7:30 p.m. Friday. When we arrived there were no more benches. We absolutely wanted one. They accommodated us in two minutes with a huge bench seat, even though there were two of us. A small gesture much appreciated by my back pain. Excellent service, really nothing to say. Never lacked anything. We had two burgers which were excellent as usual. Their new grapefruit drink was delicious. The restaurant was clean and not too noisy. In short, excellent red stick.

Dinner Sunday May 19, 4 adults had filet mignon and entrecôte dinner and 2 other people ate beef rib au jus: excellent with fries, vegetables cooked to perfection. The waitress was super nice and smiling. Excellent service. To recommend.

The food is excellent, parmentier soup, Santa Fe chicken and cheesecake. The welcome and service is impeccable. The only downside, for me personally, the plates are too generous and due to the fact that I wear hearing aids, I could barely hear my partner and not the waitress at all.

Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes served to us has not kept pace with the increase in prices. My partner and I received good service from the waitress, but the food. The onion soup had no onion. To which we received a response from the managers that it is not their fault since it arrives already made and frozen. In addition, our vegetables were cold when they arrived at the table. We left with a bill of almost $150. This is not the quality we expected.

The restaurant has recently been renovated allowing a better welcome upon the arrival of customers. Always such a beautiful cozy atmosphere and comfortable benches. Excellent choice of cocktails and starters that are pleasant to share. The staff is always good advice and professional. Special mention for the Smoked Old Fashioned cocktail, the spinach storm and the Louisiana chicken salad.

Great indigestion 3 hours later! And the taste was not great!! Bâton rouge in Lachenaie has nothing to do compared to Bâton rouge in Joliette! Last time I went there!

A Memorable Dinner at Moms Favorite Restaurant We made reservations at my mothers favorite restaurant. They will often eat at your restaurant. We enjoyed the booking process. Good service, from hostess, waitress to waiter help. The meal was good, 3 out of 4 portions had the braised beef and my husband had the hamburger. Thank you for the festive dessert to my mother, it was very nice and appreciated.

4 times items that I had chosen on the menu were not available (2 starters, 1 wine, 1 dessert). The steak I ordered medium arrived blue. The quality in general is no longer what it was back then. The waitress was nice and helpful, visibly uncomfortable with the menu shortcomings. Probably my last visit. Disappointing for the price paid.
