We went to have a quick dinner before a show at TVT. Everything was excellent, the meat is succulent, the fries are really good too. The service was very fast especially considering that the restaurant was full. I greatly appreciated that the waiter gave us the bill quickly upon our request considering that we were tight on time. I went on October 21, 2024 and I took their trio sandwich Poutine coleslaw and I was really disappointed the smoked meat was very hard and without any flavor the poutine had no flavor and it looked like frozen potatoes the coleslaw very disappointing and I think its not worth the asking price Ive already eaten better in La Belle Province my personal opinion a big disappointment I think it really doesnt deserve its reputation as a good restaurant a real disaster

We had a bad experience. We walked in with my family of five in the middle of the day. There were no customers and the entire restaurant was empty. It was my daughters birthday and she wanted to go to this restaurant to eat smoked meat. We come here regularly. We had a 3 pound baby dog with us (in our arms) who was barely visible. He greeted us and saw the dog. We wanted to sit outside on the patio so he brought us to the back, waited until we sat down to tell us we had to leave because we had the dog in our arms. I said he was a 3 pound baby dog and was staying in our arms...he didnt want to know anything and told us we had to leave. I found it beyond pathetic. it was a bit heartless to ask us to leave like that...he could have warned us and let us eat. I will never go back to this place again. They lost me as a customer. Also the restaurant smells really bad, they have horrible ventilation, the whole place smelled like old fried oil. completely disgusting. Its a shame because my family and I really liked this restaurant.

OMG. I am a picky one when it comes to smoke meats. But let me tell you, their smoke meat is to die for. The portions are generous and I dont know what they put in their homemade sauce, but it is a peace of heaven with their tasty fries. Today I tried their carot cake and let me say that I will always take some from now on, I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised.

This was our place for poutine. $50 and were still hungry. The portions have been ridiculously reduced and the bowl is not even full. Sorry but its over.

the smoked meat is excellent. take medium for the best flavor with not too much fat! the rest of the food is very ordinary. Really expensive beer and disappointing selection. the service team is made up mainly of young people, which is not a bad thing. they have great energy and are very kind and helpful. I suggest the Bygs plate which contains a lot of smoked meat and little else.

(July 2023) Beautiful little friendly bistro style restaurant in a charming town. We love smoked meat and how good it is. Generous portion of homemade fries and smoked meat. WoW. choice medium or bold. We had the sandwich also accompanied by coleslaw. Pleasant and fast service, very nice atmosphere whether you are inside or outside. An unpretentious place where we stop to eat and resume our visit to Old Terrebonne.

Is it me or is the price exaggerated for a smoke meat sandwich (old, crumbling bread), fries (reheated!) and a small cup of coleslaw??! Its too much! The sadwich is as big as my palm... the fries and salad, what does it cost: $1? $2 at most?... So, the small bite of bread and meat costs $25??!! Im a big fan of smoked meat and am used to Shwartz, Petes, etc... When I moved to the area, I was hoping that this restaurant would satisfy my smoke meat cravings, but what a disappointment... Very ordinary. You can very easily find the same, if not better, in any cheap patty shop. At least they have good, fresh fries, and dont charge you the full price for a AAA rib-eye steak... Sometimes I dont understand Googles rating system. With what I bought in this restaurant today, its definitely not worth 4.5/5. Well, for me its a first time, but also the last.

75$ BEFORE TIPS for two plates of smoked meet with fries, a pespi and a beer... But the worst is the 3 miniature slices of pickle on the plate at 23$.. at this price I would have expected a whole pickel... sliced thinly you are probably capable of making 10 plates with a pickle... and in addition taking the plate at $23 I was expecting a mountain of smoked meets.. NOPE!!!! a very ordinary average plate.. I understand inflation and the place but there are always limits.. it cost me $86 total for a smooked dinner meet no entry, no glass of water, pi your dirty cabbage is more than ordinary..

Unfortunately not what it used to be.

The food is okay, nothing to die for. The pricing is a bit off. 19$ for a smoke meat with coleslaw. 3 slices of pickel and a drink. Its a bit steep. Also no napkin and utensils for the to go order.

First experience with you, Im not usually a fan of smoke meat because Im picky about it (the quality of the meat used...) but I really liked your sandwich plate with the panini bread, Greek salad , homemade fries, all delicious and well seasoned. The sandwich had just 3 elevens of meat in it and it was just perfect because I dont like big traditional sandwiches! The service was excellent too, nothing to complain about! The smoke meat is not too fatty, it is very good! Im sure Ill go back there eventually!

My wife and I went to this restaurant very often before Covid, the food was very good, the prices very reasonable and the portions very generous, which is no longer the case at all now, the portions are reduced and the prices have more than doubled. I understand very well that restaurateurs struggled during Covid but are we going to pay the price for the next 25 years???? once again COVID HAS A WIDE BACK.... You can rest assured that I will never return to your restaurant and will not recommend it either.

The poutine is good but VERY expensive. $23 for a poutine of around 6 is really too expensive. There is no parking either The staff do not wear the mask properly (it is under the nose) and the waitress was going back to her boyfriends table (I presume) to kiss him, play in his hair and cuddle him as soon as she had the opportunity. She kissed his head with his mask on his neck which therefore touched his hair and she never washed her hands or even disinfected the entire time we ate our meal. She then took the customers plates, punched on the cash register and handled the money, in short, everything to get as many bacteria on her hands as possible and contaminate others... But the place is clean and warm.

To take them at the counter, you have no discount! That too would make a difference that people would appreciate. You have to give it a bit to get people to come back!

The Poutine is Excellent

The food is very good but after several order errors, sanitation problems (giving a meal not even in a bag to the Doordash delivery person) and several complaints to Doordash, I resigned myself to ordering from this restaurant. I even called and they almost called me a liar. EDIT: As the owner is of bad faith, here are the errors during the last few weeks: - 25Nov: Missing fries in a meal (doordash credit) - 21Nov: The beverage is missing from the order (doordash credit) - 28Sept: Order delivered without bag (anyone could have taken my food) Your response further demonstrates that this is not the type of business that I wish to encourage, keep your chef and change administration.
