Very impeccable service waitress Anouk super welcoming very well explained the menu my crispy goats cheese salad - 10/10 tartare perhaps lacks precision in the menu ex: the classic has an egg yolk it was not listed otherwise fried gnocchi As an accompaniment, I would have preferred fries, its a personal choice because they are delicious, very fresh! ! imported wine list I loved it! The atmosphere correct music correct the beauty of the restaurant I loved the little speakeasy corner really super beautiful in short we had a great experience for a romantic dinner booked by phone last minute I never felt that we had to leave the table in the 2nd services! I recommend you to everyone!

Enjoyed our dinner as a couple. Very good service and meal. The meals/tapas are perfectly balanced. We ate the goats cheese salad, the duck puff pastry with the main course being the pulled beef mac and cheese and the duck tartare. It was exquisite. Unfortunately, we were no longer hungry for dessert. Oops! But we recommend this charming place for those who cannot afford it because it can be a little expensive for some...

I loved everything about my first visit! From the welcome at the entrance to Marilys service, everything was perfect! The staff is friendly and smiling and the advice from our waitress was perfect! We loved the 6 sharing dishes we ordered! Special mention to the lamb which is an explosion of flavors as well as the goat cheese salad! But in fact I could give a special mention to all our dishes haha I really liked the atmosphere and the music playing there! I will go back without hesitation!

Very nice place! Lots of charm and decorations to embellish the place. Old historic building in Terrebonne that is worth discovering! We ordered 4 small dishes which we shared a little. For it to be completely to our tastes, ideally, we would have avoided the sweet/salty. But the dishes were very pretty to the eye and well executed overall. Only the arugula garnished on the duck rillette puff pastry had been too salty. Honestly, it s a restaurant to discover! The staff there are charming and very efficient. You will not be disappointed!

Very good choice in old Terrebonne. We like the formula of small plates to share.

Excellent dishes. We loved eating at this establishment. The only downside I have to say is the professionalism of the staff. Do not take a table close to the kitchen door since the employees are shouting. Obviously they were having a lot of fun but unfortunately for us, the noise was quite intense. I plan to go back and eat there though! But this time at a quieter table!

My new favorite restaurant

A WOW experience! Each bite was an orgasm for the taste buds. The service was fabulous. The different rooms of the restaurant ensure that the atmosphere is calm because there are not too many tables in each room. I will go back, thats for sure. Parking: The restaurant does not have parking, they are at the entrance to Vieux-Terrebonne with parking on the street or in the parking spaces on the coast to go down to the Ile des Moulins (if you are lucky and there is has some free). But leave a little earlier to find your parking, the place is worth it.

How to say it? Everything is exquisite. Im going through the service. Its impeccable but it happens quite regularly. The kitchen on the other hand. Its culinary art. Each dish is a little masterpiece. This is my second experience in two days. I hope to have the opportunity to return to Quebec.

Superb discovery!

An intimate meal. My lover found it too expensive for the portions I found it to be good value for money. The wine list is good but not great discoveries at affordable prices. Nice atmosphere at the front but with the freshness, the door open and our table directly in the cool corridor = not pleasant. At the back its prettier but less intimate. In short, I think a lot of people will find what theyre looking for. But you have to prepare your wallet

We went for lunch, me and my 2 daughter boyfriends today and we had to go all the way to the back of the restaurant because no one was there to welcome us. When the waitress arrived she told us that there was no more no space on the terrace. We noticed that there were a few customers who had finished eating so the waitress told us, it will take a while before they free up. I then suggested to my girl friends that they have a drink at the bar while waiting for a table to become available and the waitress replied: Yeah but I dont know how long it will take. I then looked at him and said: tell us if you want us to leave because I dont have the impression that you want us to stay. We then went to another good restaurant in Old Terrebonne and were very well received. We drank good wine and ate a very good meal. This waitress has lost some good customers and the owner will certainly not like reading this message. It deserves to be said.

One of my favorite restaurants! I have been there several times. Small menu of dishes to share. Everything is delicious (my favorites are the crunchy goat cheese salad and the mac n cheese). Reasonable prices. Very cozy and romantic atmosphere. Nice wine list. A 10/10 for me!

The wine, the comfort, the music, the view, the service, the dim lights that make us relax. Everything is perfect. We enjoyed our starters to share on the sofa with music from 5@7. And the waiters/waitresses are efficient but discreet. I adore. I will go back there for sure.

Nice restaurant, rather long service but we were a group of 20. Small portions of food for the price. We were hungry after meals. But the boss offered a shooter tour, and the shooters were at a good price!

The service was really a disaster I dont know if it was the waitress or what ever hot water and service for alcohol so long... the food on the other hand was very good melted cheese a little bitter but its okay thanks for sette experience.

What can I say, the food was exquisite, the ambiance perfect and the waitress gave us perfect service. The vegetable layer surprised us and the beef tartare with smoked pepper was a great discovery.

Delicious ! The beef tartare was spicy and the brandy sauce on my fried gnocchi was succulent. I loved my main course, as well as the tasty cheese fondue starter. The service had mentioned that it would be quick (we were going to see a show afterwards), and it ended up being tight. No time to try dessert or have coffee. But the waitress did a good job, I think it depended more on the kitchen.

Which means that sometimes, some dishes may not meet our expectations, but I consider this to be a postponement because each visit is different. During the last one we had remarkable service, beautiful presentation of the dishes, attentive etc. Unfortunately I no longer remember its name. To try! But not without reservation

Dinner as a couple during the evening of Quebecs National Day. Excellent service, despite the large number of guests and the turnover of the evening. Tartars are their specialty and really excellent. We shared 4 plates between 2: half spicy salmon tartare, scallop ceviche, fennel and grilled pear salad and a salad with duck, miso and honey! I want to say it, the fennel and grilled pear salad was one of the best salads I have eaten! A huge favorite! The only downside was that it was very hot in the restaurant, but otherwise nothing to complain about!

The cozy atmosphere of the place takes us into a world where flavor meets the pleasure and good humor of lounge/jazz style music. The only difficult side was the somewhat slow service and a lack of tables. Otherwise I can say with certainty that brownies are a taste orgasm. The cocktails were delicious. An excellent place to grab a bite to eat or have a happy hour.

Very good as with every visit, good quality interesting menu but the service for the food is much too long, there is no shortage of table service for wine and water and the staff is very kind and professional in my opinion. opinion it is in the kitchen that there is a lack of receiving a certain number of customers. Superb place, the decoration just WoW behind the curtain is a cozy corner and another corner for groups with period decoration. We ate bar side. Very good service from the sommelier Nikki who recommended a good white wine by the glass. Our waitress Noémie is very friendly. I ate the fennel and pear salad, the lamb and mushroom risotto and for dessert pudding chômeur with amarula ice cream. Plus Noémie offered us dessert for my birthday. Thank you very much appreciated.

We appreciate these restaurants which offer small dishes to share, but there are small and small. The plate of beef gravlax was particularly small - Some flavors are poorly balanced, I asked for the duck puff pastry tart without truffle oil and I was advised not to make it. I was right, the truffle oil took up all the space. - Luckily we love arugula, its everywhere! - Lack of speed in cooking...it takes a long time!

Super nice discovery! We had the fennel salad and salmon accras to share, the Asian tuna tartare and the truffled beef tartare for meals and finally, the pudding chômeur and foie gras crème brûlée for dessert. Our waitress was super nice (!), all the dishes were delicious and the prices are representative of the quality of the dishes, also highlighting the generous portions of tartares (see video). The atmosphere is good, the restaurant is as cute as anything (very representative of Old Terrebonne) and the menu is rich in choice... in short, a great discovery! Our two biggest favorites are the fennel salad and the foie gras crème brûlée. Thank you for the beautiful evening, La Buvette!

The food is good, the place is beautiful however the dishes are tiny for the price. For example, there is a shared slate that costs $48 and even having eaten it alone I would have really missed the food. For the price there are definitely better and the service isnt the best although it wasnt that busy when we went. For information purposes, we took the time to tell our waitress that we were not satisfied with our main course (quantity) and very politely and really not listening, she replied that others found it quite... in short Avoid the place unless you are either really not hungry or have $300 to pay for 5-6 dishes.

We ate in this restaurant with my mother two weeks ago and we were very disappointed. To start with the positives, the service was very good. It took a good 30 minutes to take our order but thats the only negative comment I have. The waitresses were very friendly and we were well served. In addition, we drank a very good sparkling wine. BUT! We took a plate to share and it was shameful because there was nothing to eat. Two pieces of pâté with fruit ketchup, two mini burgers, a flat quiche cut in half (the size of the quiche was the equivalent of a slice of household bread), a handful of mixed nuts and a salty crème brûlée . Thats all. Cost: $48 And for the taste, it wasnt crazy. All the elements on the plate were sweet and savory, which gave the impression of eating a bit of the same thing. I find that a shame because its a recurring comment and nothing seems to change. In short, I advise against it.

First time in this place, unfortunately very disappointed. We each chose 3 starters and after 1 hour 45 minutes, we had only eaten one starter. All pretexts are excusable in this post-Covid time but be careful not to fall into the inexcusable by offering shooters as an excuse and to buy more waiting time. The refreshment bar is a must if you are in old Terrebonne! The restaurant is arguably the best in the area and deserves all the praise. The service is competent and the maître ds have a wealth of knowledge which makes the experience very pleasant. Reserve your seats and ask for the pairings!

Excellent cuisine, warm place, friendly service. The only downside was that we wanted a wine-food pairing experience and the dishes arrived at the same time. Difficult to have a wine that will accompany scallops and a lamb shank with goat cheese. Besides this downside I highly recommend.

Superb atmosphere, excellent service and the quality of the dishes deserves a 10/10. In addition, the pub-style restaurant is a 4-minute walk from the Old Terrebonne Theater! 2nd visit to the Buvette, less dazzling this time than the first. 3 out of 6 dishes were excellent, the other 3 were disappointing to very ordinary. 3 drinks and 6 courses $180 taxes and tips included. Its expensive to still be hungry afterwards.

My wife and I went there to celebrate her 35th birthday a few weeks ago. We had a gnocchi starter which was very good. She had a duck salad and I had the braised pork cheek. The cheek was succulent and the salad was also very good. The place is very warm and the wine list very interesting. A little expensive overall but the quality is there. We really liked our experience.
