This restaurant is not a wine bar. Its a restaurant with a very ordinary wine list with a very limited choice. I was expecting some discovery, but I was rather disappointed. I asked for advice on a glass of wine and instead of being tasted, they brought me a full glass. I didnt like the wine but felt bad wasting it so I kept it. The waitress was professional in apologizing for the first glass that I was not able to taste before choosing. The food is good, but nothing more. The scallops lacked flavor. The cheek was good, though. We went on a Friday evening in September and it wasnt busy, maybe 5 tables between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Which is not a bad thing in itself, if you are looking for a quiet place. My meal which included 1 cocktail, 2 glasses of wine, 1 starter and 1 main course cost me $150. Did I get my moneys worth? I cant find. I have no problem paying for evenings at a restaurant for this price, but I would expect to live an experience with local products, a little oumf, and above all a wine list worthy of the name, but Lanas misses the target. I still had a nice evening overall, since I was in good company and the staff is very nice, but I do not recommend this restaurant to my loved ones and I will not return there either.

With the rain, we were VIPs at the restaurant. Warm welcome and divine meals! We shared a shrimp starter and I had the mushroom ravioli which were both succulent. As well as a glass of privately imported wine $65 Dinner! It was worth the cost.

First visit as a couple on a Friday evening without the children. We liked the following points: - Bread/butter or pepper sauce are considered an extra, so $$. - Very small portions often, for example, the lobster ravioli only had 8 to 10 pieces of ravioli, and not enough lobster meat. - Our waitress seemed not to be 100% focused on her work. For example, we had to ask 3 times for the possibility of having oysters as a starter, before she admitted to us that she had forgotten to check in the kitchen. - Fairly slow service, even if the restaurant is not full. - A little expensive compared to other restaurants of the same level Positive points: - Some menu items we tried were excellent: for example, the home fries. - Several parking spaces (not on the street). IN SUMMARY: Good restaurant in general, but a few points to improve to be considered very good or excellent. THANKS! Parking: Lots of spaces available, because parking is right in the small shopping center.

Beautiful little neighborhood restaurant with a very nice selection of privately imported wine by the glass, friendly service, a beautiful atmosphere!. My partner had already come for lunch and enjoyed it. On the other hand, in the evening, at least the evening of our dinner, we were very disappointed by the culinary services offered to us, namely a very cartilage and fatty duck breast with more bones than meat as well as ravioli which were supposed to be stuffed with mushrooms, but only one ravioli out of 4 was and it was stuck in a liquid sauce. Try again maybe at lunchtime only?

The dishes were OK without more, but above all do not justify the prices asked. I found the quality of the croutons that were served with the burrata and tartares a little insulting. Old, dry bread... croutons that break just when you pick them up... for $30 plates... its sad! Decent service. We were all regulars at the Racine restaurant which was there before, but we are not talking about the same experience at all. (Please note the oldest comments are for the Racine restaurant)

Wow! The tartars? Incredible! The one with salmon in oysters was a real surprise, as was the beef tartare with its crispy French bread. The duck poutine, a perfect accompaniment, was delicious, although a little more sauce would have been great. And the duck confit with wild blueberries? A real delight, especially with the mashed potatoes which were just perfect, the duck was so tender, tasty, the best! The best part of it all? The team was super friendly and welcoming. It felt like we were staying with friends. It s very easy to book online or even by phone. I plan to come back very soon. From the service, the food, the atmosphere, to the decor, everything took us into a feeling of well-being and a romantic atmosphere. We were lulled by Stéphanies suggestions with her food and wine pairings which exceeded our expectations. No other restaurant compares to this one and it is definitely my favorite in the city of Terrebonne. A big congratulations to the chefs and owners, we are impressed. The sommelier is not one. It was obvious she was reciting a poem instead of actually knowing the wines. Ive been a wine lover for about 15 years and his descriptions were laughable. She didnt even know the origin of the bottle she had in her hand. The dishes were good, but very simple and they do not at all justify the prices asked. Its an ordinary restaurant that tries to give itself the air of great gastronomy, but without success. I would have recommended this restaurant if the prices were cut in half to properly represent the expected experience, but with these prices there are plenty of other restaurants that are more worth it.

Once again the most welcoming and awesome restaurant. You feel like you matter and the staff is happy to have you return Wine by the glass is exceptional and not over priced. My Sur le Granite Chardonnay Paired perfectly with the seared scallops in a miso broth with local mushrooms and a sprinkle of pistachios. Attention to serice here is impeccable. The hostess owner was in the kitchen tonoght but she made sure she knew I was there and she would look out for me. And she did. They all did. Tempted by a fairly complex menu that can appeal to flexi, vegetarian, pescovegetable or vegan people, I offered it to my friends (instead of an old Terrebonne which was full!). The exterior looks solid to me. Terrace overlooking the concrete of a small strip mall on Des Seigneurs, boul. Chic Taschereau from Terrebonne. Never mind: the inside is not the outside! Phew! Neat decoration, comfortable layout. Everything is thought of: utensils, plates, tables. The setting is all well and good, but the food? Just wow. Built with a lot of Quebec, the menu is varied, with unique ingredients, in short, full of things that I dont do at home. The alcohol menu? Once again, a lot of Quebec (nice beers, beautiful spirits in super interesting cocktails), maybe not enough Quebec wines? The sommelier did not offer any. But what it was was ordinary! Just like his service and that of his attentive colleagues. A hello from the owner: who am I? Yes, we feel special . The food? You can eat plenty of tapas starters, without problem. Fast service, hot dishes, but, above all, beautiful! Perfect scallops, seasoned beef tartare without masking the taste of the meat (rare!), Raw turbot, better than ceviche! Favorite? Cauliflower! Just . Menoum. I would go back just for that. I recommend. And I suggest booking several days in advance for a Saturday!

Second take-out experience during the pandemic, all I can say is wow! Best restaurant in Terrebonne, guaranteed. Before I just went out to Montreal to eat good meals, now I know that I have a restaurant close to home that offers exquisite meals.
