Cute place by the river side but could be better in maintaining of the place , drinks were great , food was good too . Would love to come back
First time at this restaurant with my wife and son. 1st need reservations and 2nd staff very professional and nice with everyone. Food was great and many different drinks are also available. Great service and recommended this place to everyone. And also very nice view right beside the water.
Disappointing food and portions. Not worth the money at all. The ribs were driy and tough. Paid 10$ for a few carrots as nothing is included with your main course. Don't expect to eat for less than 40$ per person. Place is nice and view is beautiful. Have a drink but won't eat there
Old building restaurant near the water which is beautiful. Drinks and food were good. We had the 'Prestige Box' package. We were supposed to have the 5 course meal, but they don't do it for the fall. ( kinda disappointed) Our waitress was really nice, but it took a while before getting our bill even though she knew we didn't want to order anything else after the meal.
I loved the location of this restaurant but the food left something to be desired. If you sit at the terrasse, you have a beautiful view of the river and it a great atmosphere. Our waiter gave us a great service, he was quick and nice. However, the menu is very small. There are not a lot of options. The main meals don’t come with any side and are at a very high price point for what you get. I ordered the tuna tartare for my entrée and was disappointed. I have had much better tuna tartares. Then I also had the carrots as my side and again I was disappointed. The only thing that I liked was the drinks. The margarita was excellent. Won’t be coming back to eat here.
Outstanding location, nice staff but overpriced. - The terrace offers a view by the water and it’s just the perfect spot. - The food is good. Saying I didn’t eat well is unfair and exaggerated but it’s way overpriced though. You don’t get much for what you pay for in term of quality and quantity. - Nice selection of alcool and drinks. - Staff is nice and welcoming.
Its very expensive for what you get. The portion are very small. I got the 32$ t-bone steak and it was half an inch tick. I asked med raw and it was well done. The terrace is nice tho. Nice ambiance. You can check my pics if you want to see the meal. Service was quick and waitress was nice.
I think u mostly go there for the scenery and a few drinks. The food was ok we had the degustion menu at 45$ each I feel it was overpriced...the strawberry shortcake was delicious! It was my highlight Service was good but the show stopper was definitly the scenery by the water I mean wowwww💚💚💚
Excellent food, nice atmosphere and good service Parking: No car access to the Ile des Moulins site. Parking at the Vieux Terrebonne theater, not much parking space, so quite far from the restaurant, especially in winter.
I received as a gift a gourmet prestige box package worth $109. I had the choice among 75 restaurants and I chose Building B. We were entitled to a shared menu of 2 drinks, 2 starters, 2 main meals, 2 side dishes. No dessert. But I was really disappointed for all these reasons: Negative points: -I was told that in the end it was $90 for the value of the meal. So in the end I had to pay extra. -in the package it included 2 side dishes even though the waiter told us that it was not good and that we were entitled to just 1. - service too fast after 1 hour we had already finished dinner. Obviously, the restaurant is almost empty on a Saturday evening at 8 p.m. What we really liked: We had 2 duck drumsticks which were very good as an appetizer to start with. But 1 piece each since it was to be shared. Really not enough. 1 more drumstick each would have been appreciated. We had a smoked pork starter with sweet potato puree which was really excellent. But, really too small a portion for a menu to share for 2. It seems to me that they could put more on the plate. . Then a red cabbage and spinach salad with goat cheese. Passable good, but not enough dressing, not enough nuts, not enough spinach, just large pieces of cabbage that are difficult to swallow. -as for the choice of main meal we had no choice lol it was osso Buco tomato sauce and linguini like garlic cream sauce. Who tasted nothing, we even asked the waiter for more sauce. With parmesan and shrimp it could have been better. These are the kind of dishes you make at home. Not worthy of a great restaurant at all. - really flat music - lighting too dark we couldnt see our plate - the cheapest bottle of wine was $48 Positive points: -nice welcome -kind and attentive waiter -beautiful place beautiful warm decor -fast service (but probably due to few customers that evening) - no dessert included In conclusion, I would have chosen another restaurant among the 75 choices offered. Beautiful atmosphere in summer on the terrace with lots of people. But, in the middle of winter and the share menu which unfortunately did not live up to our expectations.
It was very good, we waited over 25 minutes for the first coffee. Parking: Easier on Sunday mornings
This place is magnificent. we entered through the Christmas market, the place is enchanting, we were in good company. We sat on the side of the glass roof, it had just snowed, a clear spell warmed us up... everything looked promising. Big disappointment. The dishes are bland, soulless, put together in a hurry, and its the first time Ive had such an experience. Eggs Benedict, for example, come without accompaniment for $18. Would you like some potatoes? We will charge you an additional $6. If you would like fruit, we will charge you an additional $6. The omelette: $16 with 1-1\2 toast, thats it! No jam, no peanut butter, nothing. Im not talking about the other plates. I felt like I was being ripped off for this untasty and ungenerous brunch. The place is really beautiful, the terrace in summer would be well worth a beer or two. But never again to eat there.

Excellent in everything! Just the atmosphere a little noisy but tolerable all the same!
I loved my experience and our server Raphaël was TOP. On the other hand, the portions are a little small but the food is good!
We go there a few times a year, the place is charming, the food is always delicious.
3rd time in this restaurant, we will remain loyal customers as long as the food remains of good quality yum!
Friendly, friendly and delicious food!!
The place is pretty, the staff is nice but the food is not retaurant quality.
Went to Bâtiment B for my fiances birthday! Food was awesome! Service was A1 by Alex our server!
Parking: Se stationner dans les environ. On doit marcher un peu. Food
The meal was excellent but not really hot. We asked to turn down the music a little, which was a little too loud for discussions without shouting. But we loved it since its just small details. Wheelchair accessibility: The bathrooms are in the basement
Great experience and great service by Camille!
Intimate place, 10/10 service, a beautiful place to discover!! The waitress Charlotte is a gem!
Very very nice experience, we loved it! Everything was delicious! The only negative point is that the wine is a little too expensive
It was my first time even though Im a regular at old Terrebonne and everything I ate and drank was absolutely excellent. The atmosphere is super pleasant, I will definitely go back!!
The servers (Thomas and Michael) were super nice and very efficient. Only problem: because of a water problem (the city did work on the pipes), there was no coffee.
We went to Building B to celebrate my 50th birthday, very affordable and delicious group menu. Good service and excellent atmosphere! We had the opportunity to have a DJ for a price really affordable! We were supposed to be on the mezzanine but since it was nice and warm, they placed us on the terrace, it was simply perfect! Great happiness with family and friends! Thanks again to the whole team for this successful evening!!!
Very nice evening, excellent meal and service, the only downside is that the meals are served without vegetables, so very expensive to have a side dish on the plate
No nice atmosphere excellent service but a little too expensive at the price the accompaniments should be included
Impeccable service. Extraordinary atmosphere. Delicious little big potatoes. Disappointing flank steak. Parking: Parking 5 minutes walk.
Beautiful place where humor is prohibited! The waitress at the bar should work for the police . Funny atmosphere, not too warm
Magnificent place, impeccable service.
Excellent service, very nice place!
Right by the water, beautiful setting, nice assortment of local beers. Kitchen opens a little late but all in all, a beautiful experience
Unfortunately I couldnt call it a gastropub. When I went there 5 years ago, yes, I was won over! Today its just another big restaurant where we are served food that is too oily (squid), overcooked and dry (gnocchi) more than ordinary (bavette) for a price that is much too high. Im really disappointed with the place!
Amazing
I do not recommend this restaurant. We went there on a Sunday lunchtime for brunch. The place is very beautiful, the server friendly but we waited a very long time before receiving our dishes which were frankly ordinary for one and really not good for the other. Homemade smoked salmon that looks like mush, tasteless coleslaw, soft and hot feta cheese that tastes like nothing, etc. Yet we are not picky eaters. Very ordinary fried squid. A woman who had the same thing as me two tables away also told the waiter that she didnt like it at all.
The positive points: welcome and service from the employees, the quality of the food, the originality of the dishes, cocktails well dosed in alcohol, the atmosphere of the terrace with a good volume for the music and the beauty of the decor. Negative points: there were no longer any items on the menu, the deafening noise of the ventilation at the terrace reception, the portions less generous than what the waiter suggested when he suggested that we take dishes to share, the room womens bathroom had water damage that was not cleaned up and the floor was covered with an inch of water everywhere, chairs on the terrace were cheap and not very comfortable for tall people.
Beautiful atmosphere! Received great service, price comes with it Thank you! Parking: Plan ahead depending on the timing, busy area
Our server was super attentive thank you Julien! The food was served quickly, it was hot, tasty, and the cocktails were refreshing! Thank you for the beautiful evening
Superb place in Terrebonne for a dinner on the waters edge. Very good food except that my ribs were not very tender and lacked cooking in my opinion but they still tasted very good.
Great view of the river. Good food but best of all is the amazing service. If you are in the area you must stop for a drink (great sangria) or a bite to eat at this place. Parking: Parking is a bit difficult but there are plenty of options.
Dont go there for a drink after a good dinner. More than 20$ for a coffee bayles. we are not in NY
Very expensive ! Too expensive ! Two glasses of wine, two flank steaks, carrots, baby potatoes and pan-fried cherry tomatoes: $160. Music like in a disco! We dont dance, we eat and we talk! And we are in Terrebonne, a French-speaking place, it seems to me...
Great experience, an explosion of flavors, large terrace and excellent service
Nothing good unfortunately. Really disappointing boa bread with industrial sauce that is so too sweet and vinegary
We had excellent service. The atmosphere is notable with their location very close to the river!!! The downside is the price. The price of the plates is not given but when you have to add the extra accompaniments, I find it exaggerated. What we ate was delicious but the total cost was not worth it, sorry.
We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. Laurence Oliviers service was excellent, the food is very good! In addition, we came across a special day where our meal was accompanied by an evening with fireworks! In short, I recommend! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu Dietary restrictions: There are gluten-free options
I cannot imagine that a restaurant in this location would be closed in the middle of summer on a Sunday at 4 p.m. We had come on purpose because we had a prestige box.
Parking: 50 Food
On the terrace its perfect!
Quite a culinary experience! Excellent service with Laurence Olivier and the fireworks at the end of the evening were quite a bonus! THANKS Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
A Feast menu for 2 adults 2 children is $90 with 4 small slices of bacon, a tiny pot of beans, 3 pieces of omelette seriously either you review the quantities, or the price, or you call it menu stingy.. we come for lunch but you only offer the brunch menu without informing us. We will not return and we will not recommend. Great service and setting. Parking: Difficulty
The place is located on the banks of the Milles Îles River... The food was good as well as the service. However, everything is a la carte... Protein, side dishes, etc... Menu with very little choice... We will not return to this place
The terrace is not very large so there is no guarantee of eating there but we were right on the veranda and it did it very well. Very pleasant
Beautiful location near the water on the island. Nice menu Good service but a little long at times
The manager is very arrogant and yells at his employees A bee fell into my glass and he charged me a double when he only had a sip of drink, very ordinary!!! The waitress Magali is very friendly and gives excellent service. The food was good.
Warm atmosphere, impeccable service but ordinary food especially for the price and small portion
No parking, no air conditioning... I had reserved inside but as there is no air conditioning, we wanted to go on the terrace because the air was suffocating inside but there was no room and the The hostess couldnt tell us how long the wait would be... So we left
Fast service, nice terrace but the tables are packed on top of the others. You dont see the river everywhere. Simple menu, nothing extraordinary, expensive for whats on the plate, especially since the accompaniments are great. Mulled white wine and mijito tastes like water. Nice site but we wont be going back.
The place is simply PERFECT! The view of the falls and the lake, the terrace in the middle of nature! The meals are so good! We spent five hours there and tasted lots of dishes and drinks, each as excellent as the next. And what can we say about Gabrielle s incredible service! (Thank you so much!) It s worth the detour!
Superb place, excellent food, impeccable service! We had the tasting menu for 2. Just wow! First time for us and certainly not the last.
The dishes are tasty. The view is beautiful. Courteous staff. I recommend it for both lunch and dinner.
Good room service and good value for money on a group menu. The cod and flank steak were very successful. The staff upstairs was professional, prompt and courteous. However, upstairs there is no air conditioning and it can get hot if you have a large group. It gets complicated on the first floor at the terrace level where the bar manager lacks professionalism and respect. She loses count and asks her customers what they consumed on the last call in order to close her cash register You mention to her that her drinks are not made according to standards and she becomes touchy and justifies herself instead to ensure customer satisfaction. We come back for the customer experience at the terrace level. Plan D for me from now on!
It was perfect. Service, cuisine and atmosphere! Parking: Near the island.
Great discovery, lovely warm atmosphere with the water s edge. We took the tasting menu which allowed us to discover several dishes, each as delicious as the next.
Thanks to the whole team. From the hostess to the server we had an incredible culinary experience. Enchanting place and a table outside with a beautiful view. I recommend without any moderation. Cant wait to try the brunch formula on Sunday.
Magalie, an attentive waitress with impeccable service! I strongly recommend it to you
Cocktails, starters, main courses and service . Everything was perfect! Thank you Batiment B for this beautiful evening!
Super bad experience, we booked online and confirmed but when we arrived there was no place, we wanted to sit at the bar on 2 small stools behind a door or sit with a gang??? After 45 minutes we had a table, the flank steak was overcooked, the carrots were charred and its no joke! And the really ridiculous portion of rice! This restaurant is an anarch, I dont recommend it Vegetarian options: The carrots were charred
No joke, the worst food Ive eaten in my life. What a shame to serve these lousy dishes. A miniature, soft salad with a few pieces of steak with a spicy sauce on top. The size of a small dessert plate for $22. A hit dog with burnt bread and sausage, no sides, nothing for $14.
We had the smoker ribs and they were the best Ive had honestly. The sangria was excellent too. What can we say about the view of the river too!
A beautiful place on the waters edge. A beautiful welcoming terrace. Tasty but VERY limited brunch menu and everything is a la carte (bread, potatoes, fruit, etc.). No vegetables available. Really poor service. We were served separately like this: the coffee arrived, then 2-3 minutes later the creams, 1 minute later, the sugar and then, we had to wait a good 2 minutes... for the spoon. The bread ordered arrived when the dishes were finished. Not strong. Our waitress was nice but not efficient. I suggest he find another type of job. Im local but I dont think Ill go back and certainly not with guests like today.
Delicious!!!
Im disappointed on every level
The terrace on the edge of the rapids of the Des-Milles-isles River is quite difficult to match. The menu, which varies regularly, regularly offers interesting finds.
July 18, small romantic dinner which did not live up to the bill. In terms of service, our server Nicolas was very friendly. The problem was with the meal. We opted for the discovery menu at $70/person and unfortunately the main meal was simply a failure. The duck was overcooked to the point of being difficult to cut. The scallop risotto was also overcooked. The scallops were stiff and the risotto was motton. Our homemade risotto and our scallops are really better than that. The parmesan sauce on the broccoli had clearly also been used in the risotto and it was disgusting. For the first time in my life I stopped eating a dish and informed the waiter. He spoke with his boss and we were entitled to a slim 30% discount. We appreciated the servers effort but this was the second time we were left hungry at this restaurant. After 2 times with no wow effect, this was the last time we went there. I dont recommend it for food but for drinking with friends on the terrace it does the job
Great service from the waiter, super welcoming and attentive and very present at the service. However, our welcome by the hostess deserves a 0/5. She would make a good prison guard or a good daycare teacher! It was fortunate that the service afterwards was adequate and commensurate with the beautiful view offered, because we would have fled! Super arrogant and told us that if we sit there, she will have to change places if another couple of 2 want to sit while the terrace was half empty Honestly, how can you feel welcome after traveling for see the view. She made us feel like we were bothering us. Thanks to the server for listening!
Perfect experience! We were a small group of 22 people and I must say that everything was perfect! The service was really excellent, the food (group menu) and drinks were delicious and the place is truly beautiful! In short, a perfect experience, we will definitely return!
The restaurant is located near the river, the site is enchanting. The decor is magnificent. The server was great! Very friendly and smiling. I went to brunch on a Sunday morning. It was a bit long before we had dinner and there was no jam for the toast. No smoothies either. This is my only downside. Otherwise, excellent experience. I recommend it.
Excellent on all levels!
Brilliant food, drinks, view and service. Visit if you can it s worth it. Disappointed they dont have 5 stars yet. Beautiful place! <3
Beautiful view of the Miles Islands River! The terrace is all made of wood, and plenty of space. Good selection of local beer. Good fast service. Will return!
Exceptional service Sam Alex Julien and Magalie are worth the detour, attentive and very professional staff, thank you for this wonderful evening From Karine and Robin
We were in this restaurant on May 19, 2024. We arrived at 7:35 p.m. and after taking our order, the waiter brought us our cocktails. So far it was going well. It was only 1 hour later, at 8:30 p.m., that our starter was brought to us; the problem is that they brought us a starter that we didn t order. The person who served us the starter told us that he thought the waiter had warned us that the calamari we had ordered was gone. Not only did the waiter tell us nothing, we didnt have the opportunity to make another choice. We accepted the starter which was delivered because we were very hungry. At 9 p.m., we still hadnt received our main dishes. We saw someone serving main dishes at a table of 4 behind us. We could hear the diners at that table talking and seeming to say that this is not what they ordered. A few minutes later the waiter came to their table and took the plates from this table to head towards the kitchen. A minute later, the same waiter arrived at our table with the same plates that had been left on the other table. We refused the plates and told him we saw what happened. That he returned to the kitchen with the plates and came out with the same plates which he spent several minutes at another table. The waiter had the nerve to tell me that the people at the other table didnt touch our food. I found this lack of hygiene disgusting!!! I cant even imagine what happens when no one is watching. We told him we were going to leave but we spoke to the manager who was very accommodating. We will never return to this restaurant where professional ethics and hygiene are lacking.
2 stars for the beauty of the grounds and the overall decor, but nothing more. Brunches are definitely not their cup of tea. We took the brunch platter to share and were given a platter that had already been eaten by another group. We were given leftovers!!! This is unacceptable. The waiter sensed our discomfort; 3 slices of overcooked bacon, a small pot of cold baked beans with soggy pancakes is laughing at us. No water reflow, we had barely finished eating when the tray was removed from the table and we were made to understand that we had to leave because another group was arriving. We felt like a rusher. Honestly very ordinary for a first visit. I dont recommend it.
About 2 weeks ago me and my family went to eat at Building B and got very sick afterwards. We think it may have been the Mexican dip that made us sick. The food was not worth the price at all. The bench seat was extremely uncomfortable and the table very sticky. The only strong point of this place in my opinion is the ambiance.
Great location, good good but our waitress was pretty rude.
After making a reservation on the site and mentioning that we had a box coupon worth $100, we were told that it was no longer valid. Sitting outside on a bench full of ants, no thanks, no more for me.
Very pretty terrace, attentive service, interesting menu but its spoiled on the plate. I ordered grilled octopus with a side of vegetable orzo, I received boiled octopus and a side of vegetable rice. Very disappointing. Small bonus, the bottom of the terrace is next to the toilets of the historic site and let s just say that it smells historic .
The terrace on the edge of the river is fantastic!!
The brunch wasnt really good. Tartiflette is not a tartiflette at all. Quality and quantity were not on the menu. Expensive for the quality! The perfect service An exceptional location.
Mothers Day brunch: First, we were placed at a table of 4 even though we had a reservation of 6... However, great service from our server throughout the brunch who moved us tables on a table of 6 when he saw the discomfort! The quality of the food is not there for the price paid even though it was a brunch buffet. The organization of access to the buffet must be reviewed as a whole (you can expect big queues in the restricted space of the indoor bar to get your food). Everything could have been served outside on the terrace to make the experience more fluid. Another big deal when you pay for a bottle of Prosecco on the Menu for a mimosa and then you serve Cava... Its still good sparkling wine but its misleading sales when youre expecting Italian and not Spanish... Finally, no decaf coffee in stock even though it just opened at 10 a.m. clearly shows poor organization of orders from the kitchen. I wanted to give them another chance after an unpleasant experience in 2021 but this will be my last visit and I will not recommend this restaurant to those around me despite the magnificent outdoor environment.
Nice visit with my partner and my mother, we were all able to enjoy ourselves while sharing our dishes.
No parking, not much choice on the menu, quite expensive and you have to get a starter and a side to really eat your fill but the food is ***incredible*** 5/5
A mocha coffee with this beautiful view from the terrace in the sun, great!
Great location, lovely staff, but the food is really not that great. Six of us went for brunch and everything was either average or not good. Super high prices and mini portion to boot. Damage! Well go back for a beer this summer to enjoy the river!
Superb place, table on the waters edge in a glass roof, great! The meal, starter, main course, very good, but unfortunately generally lukewarm... For the price of the dishes, they must be perfect!
very expensive for the quality and quantity. Beautiful waterfront section, but less charming on the 2nd floor (looks like an attic).
great service :) and have a good meal thank you
Woww super good and beautiful restaurant!! I loved, among other things, the flank steak. Everything is delicious and the service... Great
Cheese fondue as a starter to share (for 2 max), convenience store melted cheese, floury and tasteless with a few accompaniments for $45: a steal... As a dish, cod straight from the freezer. Luckily, the wine was good but didnt come out of the kitchen. Go somewhere else...
A little too dark for my taste, but thats personal to everyone
The service is efficient and friendly. We could do without log tables where dishes and glasses risk falling at any time. The music is a little loud and the style is not necessarily suitable for a meal but much more for the bar. Our aperitifs were good but the bottle of wine was served more lukewarm than cold. We asked for an ice bucket but before the wine was at a correct temperature the meal was over. Exquisite oysters, delicious foie gras and the lobster ravioli were very good but were missing something in the seasoning of the sauce. The big brick: the 12 oz piece of strip steak served to my partner was an insult! There was so much fat and sinew that in the end she only ate maybe 4 oz of meat. When she mentioned the fact, she was told that you should expect that when you take this cut rare.... While the waitress was serving her this excuse, I was in the toilet and a member of the kitchen staff left the room without washing their hands after using the urinal. I went back upstairs to join my partner, asked for the bill immediately and we left, never to return again. I mention that the price for the pile of nerves was reduced by 50% on the bill, at least... As this was the third time that we went to this restaurant, I know that these bad points are an exception rather than the rule, but the quality of all dishes is essential and hygiene is no joke!
Excellent food, great staff. Only problem (not their fault) is parking. Parking hard to find. But its the same thing everywhere in the Ile aux Moulin area so...
Vegetarian options: Plusieurs bon plats pour les végétarien. Parking: Stationnement trop loin du restaurant en cas de pluie Kid-friendliness: Pas dopinion
A gourmet brunch experience with exceptional service. An experience that must be converted into a habit.
Beautiful place! River view! The food is good! Well done and oriented towards local and regional dishes! The quantities are good and the quality of the food is undeniable
Very nice dinner. We had the tasting menu to share, purchased on Tuango. Cook with fresh, local produce. Despite the large number of visitors, we had very good service. Well located with beautiful view of the river. Perfect for stopping off and eating a good meal.
We had the 2nd course dinner and we were well received and the service was fairly quick. The food was very delicious but I found the wine a little expensive but thats how a fine dining restaurant is.
Superb place
Great place for an intimate reception, food, atmosphere, view and impeccable service. I recommand it :)
A very nice experience at the Bâtiment B restaurant. Courteous and quality service from Julien who had just started. Delicious and tasty dishes, happiness in the mouth! Beautiful presentation, a pleasure for the taste buds! Thank you Chef Ian O meara aka Biggy!
Restaurant very well located on the banks of the Miles Iles River. The food is good! Lacks a bit of beer choice but the rest makes up for it very well.
The kitchen was closed
Very nice place to have a white Sangria.. excellent.. however limited menu.
We went there for Mothers Day and the brunch was delicious, especially the roast beef with its pepper and mushroom sauce, divine! Great service from our server who loves his job and it shows. And eat in the glass roof. The view of the river is simply captivating!
Disappointing, we had brunch (even though $30 per person we expected more) except for the pancakes, bread and fruit the rest was very disappointing. Overcooked ham, very dry, baked beans, not a good omelette either. On the other hand, the excellent service I wont go back there to eat but just to have a drink because the place is great.
Serious. The terrace may be beautiful, but for the rest treat yourself, go elsewhere!
Not to be missed! . The food is THE first reason why we go there, Catering service at home or on site (the terrace is .FABULOUS!) A passionate person behind THIS! You will not be disappointed promise!
Very beautiful ancestral building but lack of ventilation we were initially placed outside and the table and chairs were full of ants. For the rest the chef had to reconsider cooking the beef. Blue meat is not supposed to be brown... the 2nd attempt was perfect but I ended up eating alone because my wife had finished before my plate arrived ... Wheelchair accessibility: No disabled bathroom must go to another building
Wow! I had a unique experience! An explosion of flavors in my mouth gave me chills, at the same time everyone started singing Brel! An unforgettable moment!
If you have reservations, I strongly suggest that you arrive 30 min ahead in order to find parking &dont be in a rush to eat. Gorgeous venu . I will definitely come back for drinks. Food
Great for brunch outside, my last visit disappointed me a little in terms of food, but the service was excellent.
The terrace is truly fantastic which contributes greatly to a holiday atmosphere. The brunch lunch to share is delicious and an exceptional server.
I liked it, except that my duck was overcooked, otherwise the rest was perfect, excellent service
I asked for a medium-rare flank steak, it was well cooked. When I mentioned the problem, the best they could do was give me a shot. No water service. The staff is friendly. Expensive for what you get.
Very nice restaurant, nice atmosphere on the waters edge, on the other hand the Sunday brunch leaves something to be desired, it looks good but tastes nothing extraordinary for the price!!!
Truly a favorite of Terrebonne to have a good time! Mathieu and his team are great!
Very nice place, nice menu!
Well... if you like a slightly strong western atmosphere for brunch you will like it, if you chose a slightly cloudy morning it will be perfect because there is no parasol, if you like an omelette casserole ( cast iron pan) very well crusted, it will be perfect and in the end, if you like Benedictines (excellent) without any accompaniment, zero fruit-poor. I didnt believe that was possible, well yes!!! Yes... the extra $2 for unsweetened jam in quantity for half a half toast. This is my experience for a very beautiful site which can only improve on the catering side. I wish you good luck.
Great atmosphere, however lack of variety of dishes
Lunch menu at a decent price, good choice of beers, good service, I recommend!
A very nice address not to be missed if you are passing through Terrebonne in Quebec. A friendly setting where nature mixes with the city and above all where we are very well served. A special thought to Sarah and her teammates. A Parisian tourist.
Service lent
Very disappointed kitchen which leaves something to be desired table of 10. uncooked squid 4 people took it, all 4 very disappointed. jerk chicken pâté filled with oil no flavor and very tough chicken not edible, pork bao bread but at $18 there should be pork in it flank steak ask for medium but received well cooked (very cooked) Mexican trumpet that tastes not Mexican in the end the manager didnt even come to the table and she passed her comments through the pretty ordinary waiter $150 for two the worst spent The waiter tried to save the day but his resort doesnt recommend it to anyone too bad because in the past was very good
If you want to spend your money on unpalatable food, this is your place! Uncooked squid, bland pasta with reheated chicken which was a long time ago and which was not edible, because it was hard as a rock... flank steak requested medium which was ultimately well cooked with a sauce which tasted like nothing... in plus $34 without accompaniment. We had to ask for a knife for the flank steak and it arrived sal, a Mexican dip that tasted like nothing. We make our dissatisfaction known and the manager uses her employee as a messenger... not even able to come see us. Given the number of restaurants in the area, choose one other than this one, your wallet and your health will thank you
First time Ive been disappointed to the point of making a comment. First time Ive asked for a refund on a starter that I wasnt even able to eat. Fried squid, not cooked, not chewable and linguini with jerk chicken which is ultimately linguini with oil and rock style chicken. In addition, flank steak ordered medium, received boot smell. Manager didnt even dare to come and apologize and preferred to pass everything through our server who was very uncomfortable with the situation and powerless to try to make up for it with shooters. For the high price and without accompaniment, the meals are bland, tasteless and the cooking questionable. Surely the worst restaurant in Old Terrebonne, a pizza in Old Terrebonne is more worth it.
The squid in the 4 dishes ordered were not sufficiently cooked. An employee then told us that around ten customers had already made the same comment earlier. The chicken in the linguini was so dry it was almost impossible to cut. The pork bao buns mostly only had 2 small cubes of meat and had the effect of empty, bland buns. The flank steak was not served as requested. The salmon tartare was poorly drained and made water on the plate. The octopus was edible but not quite ready. For the rest, the food was not bad, but just ok, nothing more. The disappointment was therefore total. We had visited this restaurant before and had very good memories of the place and were shocked by the decline in quality. A good word for the server assigned to our table who, despite his apparent discomfort, remained courteous, friendly and professional throughout the meal. The terrace is still superb and pleasant.
Delicious meal but not complete, must have sides (like vegetables) but still not very generous. Lets say that the meal was delicious but that the plates seemed empty for the price
Super good establishment with a superb team. We had a wonderful day.
One of my favorite places!
Without hesitation, this is the place to visit if you are looking for authentic, refined and delicious cuisine. Each dish is prepared with particular attention and highlights the richness of the local terroir. The service is simply impeccable - friendly, professional and always with a smile. We really feel welcomed and pampered here. As for the terrace, it offers a breathtaking view which adds a touch of escape to the culinary experience. In short, its more than a restaurant, its a real sensory experience.
Service really too long. Even with a group of 80 people, other customers should not be affected. Sorry, the barmaid was very nice though. 1 hour for eggs, way too long.
The terrace is interesting, unfortunately the food is twice as bad, I dont recommend this restaurant.
If youre looking for the vue its 1 of the besr in vieux terrebonne but for food maybe its better to go in the evening because at noon its not the best place
A place to discover on the Île des Moulins in Terrebonne. Always a lot of people, you have to get there early for the famous Sunday brunch. Magnificent terrace overlooking the Milles-Îles River (but no reservation for the terrace). So for a drink, appetizer or meal, the detour is worth the wait (depending on the time). A walk on the island is also a bonus not to be overlooked .
Very nice view
very nice spot - beautiful location/atmosphere on the patio (summertime). Service was good, friendly and thoughtful. Food was good (but not great). Prices were reasonable/fair. I would recommend it to others!
Very nice terrace. The staff very attentive and kind. My flaky fish just the way I like it!
Poutine with frozen potato for $20
Very good food. Very nice terrace
Everything is great, both the service and the quality of the dishes and drinks. The terrace located by the water is magnificent. Varied menu and value for money is very good.
The food was very good, the terrace was great.... but the steak comes without any accompaniments and the accompaniments are $10 each.... for the price of the accompaniments its a bit excessive
Bon restaurant terrasse SUPER BELLE et service top ! Worth it and delicious. Food : 5/5
Very nice place with impeccable service Product quality I had a good time and the surroundings are magnificent
Very good service which made all the difference. Ask for Thomas!
A super charming restaurant on the banks of the Milles-Iles River. The food is excellent: you have to try the flank steak in particular and also the bao bread as a starter! The service is impeccable and the atmosphere on the outdoor terrace is great. I removed one star due to the completely different ambiance inside; its dark, bordering on gloomy and much less welcoming. Perhaps this is due to the fact that it is a heritage building, and therefore complex to renovate...? Despite everything, a restaurant to try and try again without hesitation!
Stunning
Gorgeous location by the waterfall. Had the calmari: tender and perfect. And the charcuterie board: exquisite. Dont miss the mimosas at brunch! The passion fruit one was yummy
Beautiful place for sure, we went to building B for a friends wedding, as for the food unfortunately the vegetables were not cooked, but really not. On the other hand, the pork was very delicious as were all the other dishes with the exception of the two dishes (grilled vegetables and potatoes with cheese) which were unfortunately not cooked. Probably since we were a big group it was difficult but a restaurant that caters weddings should be able to supply and cook their food well. To try again for an evening other than a wedding, the experience would probably be better. Overall nice place and good food. Great atmosphere and very helpful staff!
Evening organized for a 30th wedding anniversary. There were 20 of us and we all loved our experience! We had a drink and chatted in the garden next to the terrace before going to the glass roof which was reserved for us for dinner. The atmosphere was magical and the music was excellent. The meal was delicious and we loved the to share formula! We had mentioned a nut allergy and another dessert option was offered for this person. Our waitress, Charlotte, was very cheerful and warm! His service was impeccable! Only disadvantage: the place is not easy for people who have difficulty getting around (even with a cane) due to the age of the building. Uneven floor, slabs and sidewalk not level, stairs to go to the toilet, parking not obvious, etc. All in all, a very pleasant experience! I recommend 100% Dietary restrictions: nut
Beautiful welcome, beautiful place, beautiful view of the river, good service, Sunday brunch except disappointed with the presentation of my eggs benedict with salmon with nothing else, no accompaniment no potatoes, no fruit, nothing. In addition, coffee is not included
Very beautiful environment and view of the river. Good service but I wasnt impressed with the food. I went there on a Sunday for lunch.
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at this place and the food and service were impeccable. What can I say about the place itself, fantastic
On a day out in Old Terrebonne, Quebec, in June, my cousin and I enjoyed a light lunch here. We both had tartare, steak tartare and tuna tartare. Very good tartares! I always wish tartare and sushi were as good in Ontario as it is in Quebec. We also enjoyed a couple of nice drinks. The location is great with some lovely views. We than spent the afternoon walking leisurely around, going into some nice shops. We than had a lovely dinner at L Aparte cuisine & bar.
Beautiful place, great service and the same for whats on the plate.
Great food, nice place, and excellent service.
Great place
Excellent food, excellent service, a little noisy.

An exceptional gastronomic experience on the water s edge! It s the perfect place to relax in the summer with a drink, while providing the ideal setting for festive birthday parties or relaxing Sunday brunches. Nestled on the Île des Moulins, this old building breathes wonderful energy. The welcoming, helpful and enchanting staff make each visit a magical moment.
Good food, relaxed atmosphere and great service. Very generous portions for the price.
$45 for a ridiculous charcuterie platter . 3 slices of ham, pieces of apple and a cheese similar to melted ptit quebec. The menu is very ordinary for the prices, I strongly advise against it. The only positive point; good service.
Good food but very expensive! $42 for a small portion of fish and you have to pay for the side dishes!! Pay for the potatoes and pay again if you want mushrooms! We re definitely not going back there too bad, the place is very beautiful!
The meal was excellent, the service perfect, the waitress responded to every request. The decor upstairs really left something to be desired, pockets to hide the blinding lights from outside, the curtains hiding the restaurants surplus. Photos dont give good memories. :(
A beautiful location, cozy and warm atmosphere, friendly waiter who knows his menu and can explain it, the different aromas and tastes of the dishes were fabulous!! It s worth trying the Panoramix drink, I was pleasantly surprised
We did it once on recommendation and very very disappointed, never again we didnt like it at all. But after that it s up to us.
Very nice restaurant with a superb view. The service (from Julien) was perfect for our group of 30 people. People really enjoyed the group sharing menu.
Office party in the glass roof (30 people) Tasty meal to share, everything was excellent. Outstanding service (Our server was Julien who was attentive and attentive to our needs) The location of this restaurant is truly magical (on Moulin Island) with the colorful falls and the water current that passes right in front of the room. There were some decorations to install in the room, there could have been a little more. The only thing that bothered us was the temperature in the room, it was really hot and it was impossible for them to regulate the temperature. I highly suggest this place, perhaps for a smaller group, we were a bit crowded @ 30 people. a BIG thank you!
Epic place. I adore!! the atmosphere is perfect. My favorite little restaurant!
The Bâtiment B restaurant offers an exceptional culinary experience, and it is in large part thanks to the passion and commitment of the owners, Mathieu and Stéphanie and their wonderful team. Their dedication to quality food and impeccable service stands out on every visit. Thank you for creating a place where gastronomic excellence and welcoming atmosphere meet perfectly. A memorable experience every time!
Always well received!!!
