Toit Orange in Terrebonne

We were unfortunately victims of deplorable service during our order. Not only were four items missing, worth over 45 CAD, but we also received a completely crushed burger, which is unacceptable. I contacted Toit Orange on Wednesday December 18 at 6:45 p.m. to obtain clarification on this situation. Unfortunately, I was greeted by a young lady whose attitude was simply unacceptable. She lost her temper instead of solving the problem. It is deeply disappointing to see what the Orange Roof has become, especially since this is not the first time we have encountered this type of problem.

Good little snack that I discovered by chance! The food is really good! I tasted my first smash burger there! I liked it so the following week I took a friend there! The place is clean with a particular style, a little retro and rustic! They incorporate the Orange color in their name in the theme of decoration! The staff was friendly to me both times I came!

My Big smash burger was excellent, I added a slice of brisket to it, the burger melted in your mouth. On the other hand, the regular poutine was incredibly sad... Fries which seemed to have been cooked more than once, tasteless sauce and small pieces of not fresh cheese which cooked very quickly. (cheese style in McDonalds poutine) Go for the smash burgers but do yourself a favor and skip the poutine. And thats not to mention the owner who is stupid with customers... If she wants us to spend our money elsewhere, she has the right attitude.. No indoor seating so with winter approaching it could be problematic. Yesterday we ate on the terrace around 7:30 p.m. at 10°.

I have never eaten there but with Uber Eats delivery it was disappointing. Part of the order was missing but crossed out in pencil on the invoice (we had however been charged), the poutine was seriously lacking in sauce and as for the burger the bun was very soft, I asked for no onions, surprise surprise beautiful onions inside. Its rare that I write negative recommendations but it was a terrible experience. We didnt eat half of what we ordered for $70 because it was disgusting. We tried to call the restaurant for the missing item, left a message and never received a call back. Terrible.

Excellent smash burger!

Nice little snack. The kitchen is ok. I chose the giant hot dog. The sausage was too smoked. However the onion rings were excellent. We also chose the smash burger. Once unwrapped, the bread was very soft and soaked in sauce. The fries were served without ketchup and without utensils despite it being a take-out order. As a first visit, not really conclusive. Well see if there will be a next time.

The cashier/waitress was very rude it was our first time here and never again. We did not know where to order and already she s giving us attitude never coming again. AND NOT ENGLISH FRIENDY

No air conditioning, the waitress invites us to go eat outside with the wasps even after telling her she suffers from wasp allergies and there are tons of them. My granddaughter had to throw away her gellato because 2 wasps came to bathe in it...

Beautiful creamery with affordable prices and several choices of Gelato and sorbet. I had a Pistachio Gelato. Excellent with a nice texture and tasty. My partner had a slush. It was very liquid.

The small sundae is equivalent to a large one by the way. Much too big for me and the strawberry filling looks a lot more like liquid jam than strawberries and their juice is a little disappointed with that. For the vanilla soft serve it was good but very far from being my best. I didnt love the texture but overall it was good value for money.

Although I really liked the restaurant before, since hiring incompetent labor it is not uncommon to receive the wrong orders, not to receive what you ordered or to pay for something you did not want. . Check your bags, check your bills.

The entrance for a person in a wheelchair, is adapted there door and the framing is completely equal easy to enter to eat on site it is not possible because the chairs are high and the counter is very high but in summer where going there to get food and eating at home was OK but one of the owners was present and he is the cook and very courteous, very respectful and open according to that is to say he is thinking of putting a place for the elderly more adapted and for people in wheelchairs to be able to eat more adapted to our physical condition but to eat it and number 1 services without problem.

Nous somme aller à la fêtes des pères et on a pris un peu de tout , pour ce qui est du burger et hot dog. excellent, frites et poutine également toutefois la salade de macaroni je trouve ça cher 4,25 pour un format échantillon au prix que son les pâtes et le poulet pop corn très sec mais comme ne nétait pas à moi jai laissé aller si non je laurais retourné.

Succulent cuisine but portions a little small. Refined menu with several savory and sweet choices. Quality restaurant/fast food.

After seeing the show On the Go, my daughter wanted to dine there for her 12th birthday party. We leave Fabreville and arrive there with my partner and our guy: no sausages, no brisket, no apple juice... Theres not much left to order, lets say. Also, my guy wanted a sausage poutine, but since there were no sausages, he settled for a regular poutine which is like a McDonalds poutine, but with a lot of cheese (its minus that). Basically, for the smashes available, it was good, but they should give mini plates for each burger, because the meat falls everywhere... on the picnic table next to the seagull shit.

The ice creams are always good (only downside: no chocolate yet) but we went back for the staff - smiling - friendly In short, keep going, you are fantastic

Many item choices, everything from hard ice cream (ex: scooped) or soft (in cones or sundaes). There are even blizzards - we combined Oreo and Reece together, and it was delicious. For those who like the Italian granita, there is the citron ice cream which was delicious. My only comment is that there are only one or two scoopers being used for all the ice cream bins. Im allergic to Mangoes, so I could not risk asking for those ice creams out of risk of cross-contsmination and an allergy attack. The inside is very nice, wooden themed, and there are spaces outside for families to sit and enjoy their ice cream on either side of the building.

This was our favorite gelato place in the area. Now the gelato tastes artificial, theres very little left and when you walk in, it only smells like fried food. Yesterday was our last visit: too artificial and way too expensive for the quality. Before, there were always queues, which is far from the case. Sorry, you should have kept the old concept!

Expensive food and very little value for money, not necessarily exceptional either. For example, very small and lightly garnished fried chicken hamburger for $7+ and popcorn croquettes for $13+ for 10 small pieces, 3 of which were too fried and hard, therefore not edible. Good ice cream though.

When I think of a fast food restaurant that sounds perfect, I think of Le Toit Orange. The food is just to die for, Smash Burgers, poutines, jumbo hot dogs and an ice cream bar. The ambiance is to recreate a dairy bar from the era and it works perfectly. Add to all this exceptional service and you get the Orange Roof!

Delicious. I dont regret my first experience. I had a smash burger. It was tasty as it had been a long time since I had eaten in a restaurant. The downside is that there was a lot of fat and juice in the packaging. The friendly staff and the place with beautiful ergonomics and simply decorated. Perfect.

We took the COMA poutine which was recommended to us by the waitress, telling us that this is what people generally order in poutines but I was disappointed with the taste, the fried chicken in my opinion is not not of good quality, it had a gray color, and had no flavor. Brown sauce, no taste, chipotle sauce good and ranch sauce good too. We ordered a milkshake, and ice cream dipped in dark chocolate, honestly it wasnt edible. The ice cream was mushy and just didnt taste like ice cream, it tasted very weird.

I have lived in Terrebonne for 22 years within walking distance of Old Town and I am really charmed by this pretty restaurant which is located on the street in Old Terrebonne. It is located opposite the Ile des Moulins which I love. The smash burgers are absolutely delicious! Homemade fried chicken is addictive and homemade gelato ice cream is delicious! And what about the friendly atmosphere, the Hawaiian shirts of the staff which is so pleasant, the music, the decor...I have not yet tasted their Beef Brisket smoked in their own smokehouse as well as their sausages houses! It s to be continued and it smells divine! A fantastic take out to enjoy on the Ile des Moulins or on site inside or outside! Orange roof, You are here to stay!

Terrible service, half the choice of gelato over last year and exorbitant prices. I wont go back there again and I advise people to do the same. Sorry, you want to sell fat instead of gelato. Big mistake.

The atmosphere is great and its the perfect place for a Burger and Ice Cream type meal

I find that the counter with benches takes up too much space, the kitchen is messy and there was a liter of milk lying around on the work space. There are things to improve. Also wear gloves if you handle food please. Thank you!

The idea is really cool i think the place looks good but unfortunately the vibe just isnt there. Customer service is pretty bad but in there defence its really hard to find decent employees. The food taste great but its 8.05$ for a simple burger no fries no drinks and the burger is the size of a mc double no combos or trios available. This is a new concept for them i think they still need to improve on some things, i hope they figure it out. This place could easily be a 5 star if they just tweak some things and train the staff a little better with customers.

Honestly, I gave it a 5 star because I thought it was cool to have a creamery/restaurant in my area that makes smash burgers. Honestly the smash is OK. I was curious about the brisket and was twice disappointed! Extra hard brisket, hard to chew, dont lose it, extremely disappointed especially since they have a smoker outside to make their own meat. Go there for the ice cream and a burger but avoid the brisket

The place is well renovated but 2 burgers, 1 poutine, 1 can of coke, 2 coleslaws for $45... $8 for a burger as big as a Mcdouble.. The 2 salads (cabbage and macaroni) for $4 each were thrown in the trash, clearly out of date, tasted rotten. It was a takeout so just for the two salads, it deserves 1 star (see zero).

La poutine a lair excellente visuellement mais pourrait avoir quelques modifications et etre encore meilleure : gardez le brisket et le fromage et les pickles. Les frites, place a amélioration, mais surtout la moutarde : pas super bon fit. Je changerais pour une sauce chipotle ou une autre sauce différente.

We decided to return despite a disappointing first and second experience, thinking that it might be bad luck... But no. Poor service, (soft) ice cream with hard as wax motons, dirty gelato counter There is clearly a lack of management with experience in this establishment.

Cornet tastes old. The bottom came soft.. 2 children and 2 adults. Only 2 choices of flavors.. it has changed a lot... I just see a change of owner... Will never go back again...

The fried chicken was good and well seasoned, however the portion was insufficient for the asking price. The brisket sandwich was delicious, but would have gained more flavor with something other than a hot dog bun. The smash burger is delicious and makes the place famous.

Very good ice cream

The brisket was more chewy than a rubber band. Its obvious to me its left on the grill in slices cooking until someone orders it. Its really hard to mess up brisket that way. Its the second time I go there and its been the same way the first time. The service also lacks, Im being served by kids. I have no problem with that, usually, unless it becomes obvious.

It was great because there was ice cream and dinner menu personally I had a gelato two scoops one chocolate and one pawpatrouile. I highly recommend it have a nice day. Parking: There was free parking. Kid-friendliness: There was a menu just perfect for children.

Everything is soaked in cooking fat, everything is dripping. Its a good thing that the hamburger is small (although loaded with meat) because my liver and gallbladder would have burst. The indecent prices almost got me kicked out. A hamburger alone for $8-10 to which I have to add $10 for fries and a drink is not acceptable. My partner ate the big hot dog, he liked the sausage but the neon purple coleslaw disgusted him and he didnt do well all evening and what can we say about his digestion! We often eat in restaurants of all kinds but our digestive system was not ready for the food of this establishment, we dont have the level yet and frankly I hope we never will.

The staff should learn to better welcome people who enter (or to welcome them at all!). Service too long for my taste. Not the best poutine in town, but edible. At least the decor is nice.
