Steakerie Sainte-Marie in Terrebonne

We came across Steakerie Sainte-Marie by chance during our first evening in Terrebonne during a work trip. I was with colleagues, and honestly, it was an incredible experience. The service was impeccable: our server was attentive, patient, and his recommendations were perfect. The steak was delicious, and the sauce, wow, probably one of the best I have ever tasted. And what about homemade crème brûlée? To die for, truly. This restaurant is a little gem, and I hope to have the chance to return there next time I m in Terrebonne

Arrived at 6:35 p.m., received our plates after 8:20 p.m.

Yes, we have been going there as a group for 20 years and this 2-3 times a year, always excellent, we have never been disappointed, sad for the negative comments

It was my first time at this place. The service was impeccable and the waiter felt really bad for the quality of my steak. I ordered the special of the day which was a 16 oz rib steak. Its been a long time since I had a good steak. The first steak I was served was so thin and not tender at all. I asked for medium rare, more rare than medium. The cooking was medium and really not tender. I asked to make another one for the price it costs! No difference, I was so disappointed for a high-end restaurant. Its expensive and the quality really isnt there. My first and last time at this restaurant.

On the terrace on the 2nd floor, there was a charge. My filet mignon was succulent with the pepper sauce. Today I ate a veal liver steak. Hum!

Superb evening spent on the terrace of Steakerie Ste-Marie. The food was delicious although for the price, we would have liked slightly larger pieces of foie gras. However, this was amply compensated by the smile of our waitress, friendly, cheerful and very pleasant. We never needed to ask for water again and never even felt pressure to leave or anything. Even at the end of the meal where we continued to chat for more than an hour, the latter continued to serve us water without asking anything and always with a magnificent smile. The atmosphere with the music in old Terrebonne, the people dancing, it was magical. A lovely time and we cant wait to go back.

Very good restaurant in Vieux-Terrebonne, a stones throw from the theater. We eat classic and comforting cuisine; I ate a pan-fried foie gras with figs and port as a starter and a beef filet mignon as a main course. The staff is very welcoming and the service is impeccable.

A little expensive but its worth it :-) but quite often noisy... some people are not very respectful, speak loudly and disturb the other tables a little... lets just say its not like going to eat at the cage at sports where there is more movement and we expect that in these restaurants... but at this restaurant we want tranquility and relaxed chatting together.....

Very good restaurant with its unique atmosphere. Good choice of menu and above all I really appreciated the service of my waiter (very courteous and friendly. Of course the prices are a little expensive but its worth the experience otherwise there is always the Saint Hubert and the Barbies if you want an ordinary experience at more affordable prices.

Little romantic dinner at this magnificent restaurant in the heart of old Terrebonne, good alcohol menu, the meals we had were delicious, very efficient and polite staff, take note here that we were there on a Wednesday evening, the service may change with more attendance! Nevertheless, an excellent restaurant, I will definitely come back there with my partner.

Waited almost 2 hours for the food the waitress just kept saying she was sorry but the food would be really worth the wait. Well it wasnt worth a 2 hour wait not even close very ordinary then when she asked if we wanted coffee we told her sorry we didnt feel like spending another 2 hours waiting for a coffee. the restaurant wasnt even at half capacity wont go back.

Very good restaurant located in old Terrebonne. An old house that has become a restaurant where time stands still, its charming. The food is excellent for my part I ate the filet mignon which was succulent, it melted in my mouth. The service was a little long but it was busy for a Saturday evening. The employees are welcoming and professional and the atmosphere of the restaurant is good. We ate inside by personal choice but there is a very nice terrace for those who like to eat outside. For the prices it is within the norm of a steakhouse. For wine lovers the menu is quite diverse and the prices are reasonable. I didnt like the fact that the bathroom faces the dining room on the second floor and that the door is difficult to close and open, so you cant miss the people who are go there but its quite a spectacle to see certain people who have abused alcohol I recommend the restaurant to all steak lovers without any hesitation.

Back after Covid... Having spent $298 on June 25, 2020. Like all Quebecers, we have been confined for three months. When paying we gave a reasonable tip. When I came out of the toilet, the waitress hugged me and asked me if I was well served! I answer yes, and show me the bill and say, the tip should be $45! I answer, Ill check with my husband. Except that now, if I have to pay that every time, the restaurateur owners have forgotten us! Because, if I have to leave a $45 tip, I want the waitress only for me, sitting at my table, and serving me 100% to my slightest desires and requirements!... Go Restaurateurs, who are the ones who make your loyalty, above all, if the food is good we come back, but if the service is rotten... stop everything! Norman, excellent! Shrimp cocktail starter, excellent! Excellent salad that comes automatically with the meal! Main meal, steak fries and beef tartare excellent! I know how to cook very well and am very picky, Conclusion, everything was excellent... The price may be surprising but for the quantity and quality, they are excellent!

Nice restaurant, but way over priced for what you get. Had to ask after an hour to have bread on the table. Steak was ok but on the firm side an the doneness was a little off. At these prices I expect service to be impeccable and food to be great. You pay for the atmosphere.

I believe that the cook must learn the charter for cooking meat because apparently it is not at all mastered (for a restaurant called steakerie) and the waiter even has the audacity to say that the cooking is of this way at this address... if I ask rare sir it is clearly not pink well cooked... limit you offer the coffee dessert if you are too stingy to credit because the piece of meat (main element) remained in the plate.

Best restaurant I have been to, impeccable service, they are wonderful. I love it and Im definitely going back.

One of the best steak restaurants year after year. I have been going there regularly for 20 years and I am still very satisfied. The meals are always excellent and the service just as much. Nathalie, the owner, has already shown my daughter around the kitchen to help her choose her birthday cake. Gilbert, one of the servers who has been there for years, is always super pleasant and puts a smile on our faces every time we see him. I recommend the place very highly.
