The restaurant, the service and the food were extremely good. I visited for the first time and wanted options in veg food, the server was really sweet and provided a great service. Had a great time at the restaurant. The ravioli that i tried was customised by the restaurant as per my vegetarian requirement. Thanks for the amazing service!

The service of Copper Blues was amazing! I came with 9 of my friends and we were seated with no problems. The food was amazing and was very fast, me and my boyfriend got the steak frites and it was soooo good. I would recommend adding the lobster mash potatoes. Our waitress was Jasmine and she was very sweet and attentive, she was awesome! Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal!

The Food there was phenomenal, plus the service from the stuff was one of the best of experience. I went doing winter time it was not busy at all but I can definitely see them packed doing the summer time.

Called into get warm and enjoy something nourishing. 6 people, 4 Lobster bisque, two french onion soups and poutine with rib of beef (chefs favorite.) had to send the onion soups back as they were luke warm, fries on the poutine looked like they had come from the day before, and were cold. (Also sent back, but were returned back fresh out of the microwave!) Service extremely slow, and to cap it all the waitress spilt soup over one of the guests bags. $160 CAD Sadly not the experience we would recommend.....and they were not at all busy.

Came on a Thursday around 3. The playlist was amazing vintage songs, surf and turf was delicious, especially the veggies they were cooked to perfection. Our server Simone was hilarious and hospitable, and made our lunch even more fun. We will be back!

Considering that I have not been here before I went last night it was really good. Our server I think her name was Catherine or Christine was soooo amazing she was so caring and joyful. The pasta which was the fettuccine was sooo good and tasty. I would go back for that and the service. The atmosphere was ok except for the stuck up snobs that looked down at me for eating my pasta but apparently that comes along with being in the village sometimes. Neways I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening and then go to the axe throwing cause that was a lot of fun too

Atmosphere and decorating is inviting. Service was mediocre. One round of food was simply dropped on table by server who didnt say anything or even look at us. The food was sub-par. Gourmet chicken sandwich was a breaded breast on a bun with no lettuce, minimal sauce, and a tad of cheese. The fries were small,(assuming bottom of bag) greasy, and overseasoned. Thankful for our wine choices as they did not disappoint.

Our table of 8 found the food very good and the atmosphere great, but the true highlight of our dinner was the service. April was amazing! She made our night. She was fun and incredibly attentive. We left feeling like we had added another friend to our group.

Awful. Hubby and I both ordered a steak and lobster. He got mid rare I got medium, they both came out blue. Mashed potatoes had no flavor, veggies were hard and bland. Super disappointed after spending $350 on dinner.

I had booked a reservation 2 weeks ago and my reservation was confirmed via email. One day before we were set to arrive, they called me and cancelled my reservation because they had overbooked to accommodate a large Christmas group. Pretty poor customer service I d say. I wouldn t trust this restaurant for any of your pre-booking reservations for important events. You may end up disappointed like us.

My girlfriends and I went to Blue Mountain to celebrate our 50th birthday and we ended up eating at Copper Blues. Not only was the food terrific, our server, Mike, was the best! I can honestly say that I have never had the quality of service that Mike provided. Thanks Mike for making our 50th Birthday dinner so memorable.

Had a lovely seat by the open window. Meal was fantastic. The Brie Bites were so yummy and we loved the pork dumpling thingees. Tenderloin medallions come with a terrific red wine reduction and the prime rib was super flavourful. Zoe was a fun waitress who checked in from time to time but didn t hover or rush us. We live locally and will totally visit again!

Absolutely amazing experience! Perfect food & service. Definitely recommend the mussels, lobster & tenderloin! The owner is SO sweet. Our baby was crying and she offered to hold & comfort her. She was immediately happy & we all felt so relieved!

A group of 19 women went to Copper Blues for the second night of a getaway to celebrate a milestone birthday. This was following an amazing meal and service at Northwinds Brewery in the village the night before. Since Copper Blues was MUCH pricier, it led us to have positive expectations, even though the current reviews were not good and I personally have visited before and did not enjoy it. But the birthday girl chose it so off we went. Our reservation and arrival were handled well. I personally ordered two appetizers (no main course), 1 martini and 1 glass of wine and my bill was $120 including tax and tip. Not a cheap night, but I dont mind spending money for a meal thats worth it. Unfortunately this was not the case. My 2 appetizers were the Arancini and Thai mussels. The Arancini was decent. The mussels were a huge portion but very little sauce and they were overcooked but tasted ok and met my low expectations. Ive had these types of mussels in many restaurants and these did not compare. But like all but one of our group (one person quite enjoyed her salmon) the food was just okay. I was half finished my mussels when the waiter came over and took my napkin and threw it in my mussel bowl and proceeded to take it away. I told him I wasnt finished. He said oh sorry, took the sauce-filled napkin out and put the bowl back in front of me. I said Im done now I guess. Turns out that may have been a blessing in disguise because I ended up going back to our vacation house not feeling well while some of the group continued on celebrating in the village. In the morning, I was extremely sick and continued to be so for the remainder of my getaway with my friends and it continued at home (about 72 hours in total). One other person was not feeling well through the night, but was not as sick of me...she had about 5 or 6 of my mussels. Nobody else was sick. Im not saying that it was definitely the mussels but believing that it was, I did attempt to advise the restaurant. I received the most unprofessional and offensive response Ive ever received from a business owner, or anyone. Keep in mind that I wanted nothing from this restaurant other than to let them know, because after two unenjoyable experiences I had zero plans to ever return. I think I was just looking for a sorry this happened to you and these are the measures we will take without all the extra blame, anger and defensiveness. I wanted to include a positive response in my review and I assumed I would get one, because how a restaurant responds to a diners serious concerns speaks volumes about their customer service. Here are some of the statements I received from one of the owners via email... I may suggest you Google the symptoms of a hangover. In reference to me doing a Google review, she threatened I advise you to proceed with caution in making any unsubstantiated claims in regards to our safety practices. We have well documented this situation, our investigation and our findings and will strongly reply to any such posting with aggressive legal action. It is unfortunate that you have taken what was clearly a very fun night for you ladies and turned it into an awful bout of untruths leading to hard feelings. (Although it was not a bout of untruths, it was a bout of severe vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.) You have undermined the integrity and professionalism of people and an establishment based on an assumption. What needs to happen for you to give us an apology. To say I was shocked at the blaming and lack of empathy is a huge understatement. I would never go back anyway, because the food is overpriced and under quality, but I have shared our complete email thread with many people who are just as shocked and disgusted as I was. Luckily, for the restaurant, they are in a tourist area in the village, so they will be just fine. I cant say the same for their patrons. There are other restaurants in the village who still strive to give positive customer service, and serve great food! Try Northwinds instead!

Loved this place. The food was particularly good, particularly the calamari, which is a favorite. The other people in my party also felt the same way about their food, so great job guys! Not an easy crowd to please the server was also quite pleasant to say the least. Great choice!

Holy cow, this place is an absolute joke with the most ENTITLED staff I have ever seen. After our meal we left a tip in cash on the table for our group but we paid with credit to maximize the points we can get from our banks --- and the male server that served us looked at the receipt as soon as he got his hands on the machine, stared at us said out loud NO TIP?! I just said we left a tip on the table for the group thats cash so he can have at that. But man, what a disgusting experience. Never going back. Food was mid, prices are stupid for what you get, and the staff (at least the ones that served our table) were the absolute bottom of the barrel individuals you could get in the service industry.

Terrible we paid over $120 for a steak dinner and fish and chips. The steak had zero flavour. The fish was very dry and over cooked. The coleslaw accompanied the fish and chips and was quite spicy. The only decent part of the meal was our mashed potatoes and French fries. For what we paid, I expected better quality.

worst food ever! so overpriced! the term you get what you paid for doesn t apply here. 37$ for a chicken sandwich that had no flavor, chicken was burnt but cold barely any sauce, mcdonald s is better. the curry dish was pretty much just all peas, barely any rice or chicken and didn t have much flavor either. got most of the orders either wrong, added things that were asked not to be added, or forgot to add stuff that was asked for. service wasn t that bad but i had to ask for extra sauce 3 times before it got brought out to me the waiter kept forgetting and we almost got charged for something we didn t order, thank god we looked over the bill. aswell there was a crying and screaming baby for about 45 min. this restaurant is not worth the money or your time.

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant Oct 14, 2024. Our waitress was Maddy And she was extremely attentive and knowledgeable.. We couldnt have asked for a better experience and Maddy just made the whole night beyond expectation! Completely entitled instead of apologizing when there was a mistake made with our order was more than disgusting . Server was slow but nice enough. He never came to ask us how our food was. When the bill came the restaurant charged an extra fee to cover the cost of credit card charges. Last time I checked it was the onus of the business to absorb these fees. They already charge visitors a resort fee, now we have to pay for use of a credit card? It was automatically on our bill, so even if we paid cash the charge was there in advance. This isn t good business protocol

I recently had an awful experience at this restaurant. I ordered a specific dish, but what was brought to our table was something entirely different and far more expensive. We decided to eat it, assuming there was a mix-up, but the real shock came when the bill arrived. I politely questioned the charges, only to be met with rude and hostile responses from both the waitress and the manager. They admitted they might have misunderstood the order but insisted we pay the full amount regardless. Their tone was incredibly unprofessional loud, dismissive, and frankly.We were left feeling harassed and disrespected. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any setting, and I strongly urge others to avoid this place. A truly pathetic and disappointing experience. Pls don t waste your time and money

Hubby and I were there on Beautiful Friday afternoon. Grabbed a patio table, people watched, drank, light snacked and our server Jay was EXCELLENT! He displayed such a soft, kind, gentle mannerism. It did not go unnoticed. THANK YOU, we enjoyed our time there.

Love love !! The service is very pleasant. The food was excellent. They had a really nice wine list. Its a very relaxing patio to sit on while you listen to music. I highly recommend trying the scallops and the tenderloin and the lobster.

Rude bartender when you go in to grab a beer. He s sitting there with no customers and still being rude when asked for a certain type of beer. No wonder the place is empty. Rude short haired blond guy. I was going to come back for dinner to but I ll never walk in here again. He can keep his attitude for the next person

Good day everyone we went here for reggae concert, upon setting down we waited over hour still no one offer us water after one hour. Other European race who we went in before was offered water served seconds dinner and desert. We still didnt get serve till this day their very racist or discrimination for my black people do not support these people there very disrespectful. Very upsetting Ill never walk by there again. I visited Coper Blues today as was attending the event Reggae on the Mountain. We were told to select a seat, and then the waitress then followed behind snd dropped the menus at the table. We never saw the waitress again, yet alone for the hour that we remained in the restaurant. We saw numerous patrons enter, be seated and offered water, then served meals. As we observed, we noted we were the only full black couple in the restaurant. The other black patrons thar were there were accompanied by people of other races/ethnicities. We struggled with weather we should bring to their attention that we had not been served and or acknowledged. Several patrons noted thst we were not served and made comments. Not wanting to make a scene, we made it seem like we were ok, just enjoying the show, obviously feeling humiliated. My partner finally decided to address it in a non confrontational matter and decided to call the manager. She insisted that this was not racially motivated, but coukd not provide an alternative/explanation as to WHY this happened. Then she came over and asked if we needed anything, at which point, obviously irritated we advised we require nothing. Packed up.and walked out .. This absolutely unaccessible in any restaurant.. We received better service at our local fast food restaurant.. Copper Blues..you need to do better .. We are all equal and deserve better treatment/service .. .

They are claiming to sell 18 oz drafts and serving Heineken in 12 oz (350 ml) glasses. Pointed it out to the manager and she blamed the Beer Rep I have been informed by Measurement Canada that they have been investigated and are now in compliance - will be interesting to see what changes were made - if I ever go back Food

We have been there several times. They ar dog friendly. We just brought our two dogs today. They even have a menu for dogs. How cute. I love the wheat beer.

We ordered 5 appetizers tonight & every single one was mouthwatering. LOVE the location, close to live music, large patio, doors that remain open to indoors. Tonight, we brought our Great Dane Baloo. I m currently traveling around the globe, stopped by at this restaurant to enjoy my time by eating & drinking. Big plus was the service was excellent. The waitress who served me was Maddie, a lovely lady who was always there & bright up the place with beautiful smile.

Really amazing food and such great service! But when I tell you the washroom is so unbelievably disgusting. Every single stall was covered in pee and toilet paper. It was all over the floors and everywhere. The washroom also was just one large one at the bottom of a stair well. I have no problem with unisex bathrooms but when s it s down a large flight of stairs where if something happened you couldn t call for help, that s dangerous.

We got their daily special; the 1.5 lb lobster and tuna fish. The rice was cold, and the lobster was overcooked and chewy. The food was very mediocre and overpriced. We also waited too long for the waiter to take our order. Overall, the experience was below average.

My partner and I had dinner for our anniversary, although it was our first time at blue mountain, we are glad we stopped by for dinner. At first it took a while for our server to come over (bare in mind it was rush hour and busy), upon arriving, our server Oliver was extremely welcoming and helpful, further explaining dishes and recommendations and definitely made the experience standout with his attentiveness. Our meals came out in a timely manner and it was very enjoyable. I very much enjoyed the steak, and shrimp on the side was a wise call. My partner enjoyed the Ravioli ( I d pay more if it had Truffle oil added). Over all great experience, we ll be back in the winter!

Delicious Steakhouse and Food

My group of 6 for lunch were mostly disappointed.. Three salads, kinda hard to ruin them, and 3 soups which were not great and not hot. I ve had better French Onion Soup from the frozen food aisle. Tea and coffee had to be sent back because it wasn t hot and even that didn t help. The server was a lovely young woman who did her best to make us happy! I will never return to this restaurant nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Cant believe I waited 45 minutes for some overpriced steak on a wobbly table. Unacceptable Stuff: - Patio tables are extremely wobbly even though they are adjustable (you can literally see the adjustable feet). - Our server took over 25 minutes to take our order. - Once we recieved our food, our server never returned. No refills, no check-ins, nothing. - Our server quickly grabbed our bill and hovered around us as we paid and tipped. I did not tip. Of course our server is so extremely busy they cant refill our water, but have all the time in the world to collect their tip. Its disparaging that Copper Blues used to be our go-to spot ~7-8 years ago, and its gone so far downhill its almost unrecognizable from back then. We came up last year and also had a very poor experience. Sadly it didnt improve and we wont be visiting again as there are much better places to eat in the Village. Id recommend Northwinds Brew Pub, who somehow makes a better steak. Hope this helps anyone looking for reviews.

Overall, it was a good experience. Of course, since you are in The Village, its a little overpriced, but what bothered me most were the extra fees. Some sort of village maintenance fee and a fee for paying with my debitt card! Theyre already charging over $12 for a simple beer. Enough with gouging people already.

We went to the Blue Mountain Village for our annvy. This restaurant was the first dinner we had that weekend. The weather was cold and windy for an April weekend. And, Copper Blues seemed inviting. The restaurant ambiance was good. Was not too crowded. The menu was good. Though, if you are a vegetarian, you might not have too many choices. The Chicken Schnitzel was a good-sized portion and tickled the taste buds. Not so my wifes Ravioli as it was the only veg dish on the menu she liked. The food was way overpriced. But then, all the restaurants at the village were similar. Post pandemic restaurant pricing has gone north. But at The Village the restaurants have taken it to another level. Overall, an enjoyable meal. Vegetarian options: Poor options

Fantastic food. The steak was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. We had 2 different waitstaff and neither one came by our table throughout our meal. A different person came by to remove our plates and ask if we needed a dessert menu. When one of the original servers finally came back, we just asked for the bill. Very disappointing experience.

When visiting a great resort, you have to expect hefty pricing.

Outstanding food and alcoholic beverages. Their ceaser is exceptional. The walnut dusted brie fritters are from a different planet! Service was excellent. Atmosphere was perfect. Solid 5 stars from me. Simone and Felix served us and they raise the bar for quality service. One of my favourite places to dine.

The food was mediocre at best. Weve been to lots of fine dining restaurants. This place may, or may not, consider themselves fine dining - but their prices 100% do. For the price you pay, the food is not worth the money. The service was very poor. We had to wait long periods of time several times throughout our stay for our waiter. Granted it was the long weekend, and the restaurant was busy, but we had a clear view into the back of house and every time we looked for our waiter we saw him chatting and laughing away with the staff in the back - very clearly not in a rush or feeling the pressure of the dinner service. It was very disappointing, and perhaps the one biggest reason we wouldnt go back (second was the food). This place was our first dinner during our 3 day stay at Blue Mountain. We ended up deciding as a family that we would take the drive into Collingwood (10-15 mins drive) and eat at the local restaurants there instead. It was 100% the better option. The food in Collingwood was substantially better, and so was the service.

Brier made the best recommendation for my dish for dinner and we came with a huge group of 20+ and everyone had an amazing experience If you have to choose a restaurant in the village choose this one and make sure to ask Brier for your recommendations she knows what is going to be amazing in the menu!!!

Ordered the $70 ribeye medium rare, showed up completely raw in the middle. Had to send it back and wait 20 minutes for a new meal. Couldn t even eat dinner with my girlfriend completely ruined my birthday. For $260 it was a garbage meal, stick to the Keg if you want to enjoy yourself.

The food was trash. I can cook better food at home. The server was rude.

Dietary restrictions: I can t eat gluten. They offer gluten free buns, but their burgers have bread crumbs in them. Their prime rib has been cooked using gluten, so having that sandwich on a gf bun was not an option either. I ordered a house salad with chicken ($30) The salad was a pile of mixed greens with sesame seeds and sunflower seeds sprinkled on top - nothing else, no other veggies. The dressing was a boring vinaigrette. The tiny piece of chicken was dry and overcooked. My husband had the prime rib poutine which he said was super salty, especially the gravy. We will not eat here again.

I asked for a burger, when I read about it I couldnt help but look forward to it, after a couple hours snowboarding I was looking forward getting something in my stomach. What I definitely didnt expect was to pay close to 30$ for a burger that tasted worse than a certain fast food chain specialized in burger and that has a Clown as a mascot, if you know what I mean - but were talking 3 times the price here. It wasnt only MY burger, we were a group of 10 people, out of the 4 burguers, none was good; the steak other people asked for was dry and poorly seared; and the pasta was overly cooked. But I gotta be honest, the fries that came as a side with the burguer were really nice, and hey, we only had to ask for a water pitcher twice.

My friend and I visited last night. The decor inside was pretty, and the hostess and waiter were lovely. However, we did not have the best experience with the food. I ordered the calamari and my friend ordered the pear salad. The aioli was tasty but there was zero seasoning to the breading for the calamari, so extremely flavourless. For the mains, I ordered the gnocchi and my friend ordered the schnitzel. Again, there was no seasoning to the breading for the schnitzel and was very dry. The gnocchi was cooked well, but the sauce was lacking some flavour - so not terrible, not but great. My friend had visited before COVID and says that the restaurant has changed, and not for the best. Going forward, I dont see us returning.

There is a reason why this place always has no customers. They are rude, bad service, and horrible. I recommend not going to this place. There are other places in Blue Mountain that will treat you with respect.

I have the worst experience of my life at this place! My 30th birthday was literally ruined thanks to staff working at this place! I went to this place to celebrate my birthday all the way from Toronto and took a custom cake that I had order a week before with me and they cut my cake in 8 pieces without asking prior!!!! How can someone see a cake that has writings on it and it s customized and I asked them I m there for my cake and drinks and food and they just cut the cake! No one could be this much careless. I recommend never celebrate your occasions at this place usually have free spots but doesn t worth it to just ruin your day! Also the food was really bad!

Two drinks and a single entrée was almost 80 bucks. Portions were small and quality was below average. Cocktails were marked as alcoholic but taste like a bowl of sugar. Id be surprised if there was actually any booze in them at all. It was so bad I opted to leave and wait in line at tims for coffee rather than order it at the restaurants I will go literally anywhere else next year.

$1 refills is crazy especially when they charge $4.75 for a pop that literally comes in a glass that you take 3 sips out of and it s empty. Service is garbage. And if you re going to charge me a servicing fee because you decided to use Clover as your processing system the least you could do is give complimentary refills. Nonsense. Would never go back.

This review is for a large takeout order placed a week ago and received today, it consisted of 32 dinner entrees plus additional appetizers for Sunday on Family Day weekend: Hi Michala and Dustin, Thank you. Please forward our sincere thanks to those who helped with our order at Copper Blues. I was extremely impressed. It was ready on time, received hot and with 100% accuracy. Our family and friends really enjoyed the food and there were endless compliments about it. All dishes were perfectly executed. Thanks for the great experience and we wont hesitate to order again in the future.

This place is crazy expensive... I know I was in Blue Mountain, but man, lunch here was more expensive than dinner at the Fire Hall. The wife only had soup and I had a burger.

This is where we go every time we go to Blue mountain village. Food and service never went wrong. Always very satisfied and highly recommended... Very badly treated on Dec 23,2023 at 7:30 PM by the employee at the reception. Copper blues in blue mountain was a great place for us in the past. But last visit was very bad experience. We went there on Friday evening at 7:30 pm from Toronto all the way to tere to enjoy a Christmas dinner. We were waiting as there was another family in front of us. The person at door didnt even greet us. So we asked her is it ok to wait? She didnt respect us or dint even try to come further to listen. Was very rude and told my wife to come you come closer first? Then she said its busy and no seats available. When we said is it ok to wait here? She replied that they have seat in the bar and we can have a seat there? So stupid. We are with two little one. How can we go and sit in the bar on high chair with little ones. Then my wife explained the situation. She said is to come back at 8:00pm. So we asked will you take our name down. Then she replied no they dont take bookings its all first come first go basis. So my wife is like so what will happen if there are more on the line? She replied that she cant help. So we requested again so why can we just wait here? She didnt want us to wait and she said just come back at 8:00pm and see... Really? This sounds me like I dont care Bout you. Just get out from here. She doesnt want us to get in to the restaurant that we love to have food every visit to blue mountain. There was another family came and she was very cool and nice with them. So is she racist because Im brown? Or did she thinks that Im there for free food or I dont have any other options to have food? I recommend this place to all my friends and family for our previous awesome experiences. Dont think the whole team is the same because we never had this kind of experience every time we visited this place. Dont think the management is happy to have an employee who can kill the wonder experiences and image by her stupid behavior. We went to this place because they allowed us to sit on patio with our dog. We asked if they can just turn on heater or fire-pit for us as it was freezing cold but they refused and told us we are not serving patio, and this was after we ordered food already. First of all they shouldn t have not told us to sit on patio , 2nd of all they shouldn t have served us or even ask us to order if they were not serving on the patio. And that was not the end of our nightmare!!! We told and asked waitress/ hostess assigned to us that we are pure vegetarian and no food dish that we ordered had meat in it??!! We were told and assured it doesn t have meat in any of it. When they served 1 dish had PORK in it!!! That was completely ridiculous!!! Food is over expensive, not that great taste as well. Definitely not going again and do not recommend anyone to go through this nightmare!!! Will like to mention that we saw them behaving with other brown skinned people too and we feel they are doing racism with brown skinned people. I am giving 1 star just because they had curtesy and fed our dog, a bowl of water!!

I ordered the 8 oz New York Striploin. I asked it to be cooked medium. The steak was well done and dry. Steak is also thin and looks smaller than 8 oz. Definitely not worth the $37 I paid for it. The only time I had a steak worse than this was in a resort in Mexico. Definitely the worst steak I have had in Canada in the last 35 years

Incredible Food! Came here with my co workers for our Christmas Dinner and the food was exceptional. I had the Short Ribs and they were fall off the bone so tender and packed full of flavour. Co workers had pastas and fish and steak and all raved at how amazing the food was.

Food was below par especially for the cost. None of our individual meals had much flavour. Furthermore more we were a party of 4 and 3 meals our meals came out and we waited patiently for our friends meal which never came for like 25 mins after we got ours. We complained to the manager and she said well you chose to wait and I can heat up your cold food. ZERO etiquette knowledge and exactly how do you heat up salmon and steak without killing the meal that was already bland. This restaurant try s to act like a high end steak and seafood place but the place lacks good service, and good food. DON T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Its such a nice-looking place. However, the experience was lacking in a major way. Most notably were the extremely comfortable chairs. Imagine a restaurant, and the only thing that was good was the comfortable chair you sat in. Major Woof! The burgers were dry like shoe leather and had little to no taste at all. Such a disappointment for a $30 burger! This should have been executed to perfection for the pricepoint. Too bad as my past memory of this restaurant from 10 years ago was pretty good. Lastly, the server came once poured us water, and we never saw her again until she brought us our bill. Disappointment to the fullest, HOORAY!!! I literally had to leave and go buy a drink elsewhere so I could wash that dry burger taste out of my mouth. Welp, 2023 is a wrap. Hopefully, they will make some positive changes in 2024. I likely wont be back.

Came here to celebrate a friend s birthday and was unfortunately disappointed. The cheapest thing on the menu is a $30 banquet burger and it was extremely dry. What confused me the most was the fact that I wasn t allowed to order a regular cheeseburger because for some reason it s only on the lunch menu . So the only option was the overpriced dry banquet burger and I didn t want any fancy truffle toppings but again I wasn t able to order a basic burger lol it was definitely not worth $30 at all. The menu lacked options and the options available were quite pricey for basic plates like pastas and pub like food. Service was good though, our waiter was really nice but unfortunately wouldn t return.

I paid 18 percent Gratuity plus another 20 Percent tip on top for a total of 40 percent in fees and tips without knowing. $90 in extras on top of my bill. Check your bill before you pay. Waited 45 minutes for the food and when trying to get information from server got a attitude from her and instead of saying Her response is I dont cook the food if I wanted for her to go in the kitchen and cook the food . I said to the server cancel my order Will take my business some where else .She said the food is coming .When she came with the food the comment what she made was ridiculous . What an awful, disappointing dining experience! Met up with some friends here, together with my husband. All four of us agreed that the seafood was overcooked and lacked flavour, rice was dry and bland, and the veg was way overcooked and under-seasoned as well. Hope the repeat reviews really discourage people from wasting their money here. For the price-point, the quality of food and service is unacceptable. Wish we had gone *anywhere* but here, although options are limited on a Monday night.

Ive been here before after a day of snowboarding and didnt mind it. But I guess everything is good after a day on the slopes. This visit was pretty rough, bland and dry fish, crab cakes that tasted like they were bought from the frozen section at Metro and outrageous prices to go with them. Wont be back.

This will be my first and only review because of how inclined I feel to describe our visit. After waiting 1.5 hours for our food because of nearly non-existent service prompting us to chase our server for updates, the cherry on top was when the owner/manager decided to blame us for how late we received the food. If you look at the reviews from tripadvisor from 2011, its good to know that the garbage attitude from the owner has remained consistent.

Terrible service and very condescending manager. We waited 30 minutes to get the attention of our server to order food and food took another hour to arrive, even after checking on it a couple times. Food was mediocre but the service and manager s attitude were definitely unacceptable.

I went for lunch and the restaurant was not busy. Took 20 minutes to meet the server. 55 min to get the food. Lunch was good, however, the menu is not friendly to those with NUT ALLERGIES. Most of the menu items are fried and the chef was not comfortable serving the food to those with allergies. This is my main concern. On a side note, FYI, Theres a 2% credit card charge added. Its also a dog friendly restaurant. Finally, the bathroom is unisex which made my wife very uncomfortable.

Went with my mother who uses a wheelchair and it was the worst service experience ever. The greeter pointed out the table and told us to walk to it. The server maybe spent 30 seconds total with us. Never once asked how the food was. Brought our $19 appetizer salad out with our mains saying the kitchen was too busy to bring it out first. He never once offered refills on drinks and said he was too busy to light our candle at the table. There were so many fruit flies around our table it was disgusting. To pay over 200 dollars for a meal that was mediocre and service that was unacceptable is beyond disappointing. We will not be back!

Food was awful,cold tasted like sawdust. Service slow and sloppy. Not editable and ridiculously over priced. Went in the summer and a week day. There was lots of space and picked a shady spot on the patio. I imagined that it could be super busy on weekends. I had the fish tacos which were nice. Ordered fish and chips and the fish was crispy (a bit too crispy). The kids have a steak option and they were cooked decently. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly. They were quite accommodating for the kids.

Just came here for lunch because I had my dog with me and I saw that can order off the menu for her. We sat near the side of where the Tim Hortons is. Be aware that people smoke around that area, it was extremely annoying as I cannot stand the smell of cigarettes. Service was a bit slow and the food did take a while to come out. But why are peoples expectations so high? This is a restaurant in a tourist area. The food was definitely expensive for what you get. The quality wasn t there. The best part was knowing that my dog does not like peas, as she removed them from her bowl.

This restaurant is alright but nothing worth writing home about. The food is more expensive than it is worth in my opinion. I ordered the mahi mahi which was just okay and on the dry side. It was served with plain, bland rice and what look like frozen vegetables - nothing special. The steak was a little over cooked but flavoured well. We had calamari as an appetizer and they were fine, but not good enough to call them good. On the plus side, I do like that they are dog friendly and even have a dog menu.

Do not waste your time or money. The worse customer service possible. The food is not good. We were seated to our table. Three other tables were seated after us. They all got their food before us and finished eating while we were still waiting. After 45 minutes, the waitress came to our table and apologized for forgetting to put our order in. 30 mins after she told us she forgot our order, our appetizer comes. The waitress forgot to also give us cutlery so we had to eat with our hands. 30 mins after that our dinner finally came and the food was cold and not good. And again, she forgot to bring us the dip and cutlery. The worse 2 hours spent at this restaurant. The waitress kept apologizing and kept saying we are so busy , when they were not even at 70% capacity. Definitely will not be going back. Ruined our night and celebrating our anniversary!

On Saturday evening me and my boyfriend came to eat here after skiing. The food was great, our waitress was great but a had a very rude encounter with an employee (I believe she is the hostess) middle aged, blonde hair lady. I went to the washroom, had a thick ski mask over my mouth and nose-fully covered. The lady rudely says you don t have a mask I said I do - pointing to me face. She states that s not a mask I pointed out I just passed 2 people walking that weren t wearing any. She said we ll I didn t see them, I just see you . If you re going to be rude to customers and enforce rules, at least know the rules. Surgical masks aren t the mandate, the mandate is to have nose and mouth covered. Ruined the vibe. Not impressed, and I bet this Middle Aged woman wouldn t have done that to a man..

Best venue in the village. We host events at Blue Mountain annually and there is no other venue that is so accommodating, lovely to work with all while providing exceptional service. We have reservations of 80-90 people per event and Copper Blues year over year pumps out fantastic food from a great menu so efficiently and helps us turn over a 80-90 person dinner without it taking 3-4 hours. Staff are fun and a pleasure. Just booked again today for another night with 90 guests. A big thank you from our team here at Prince Adventures to your team for being so amazing! See you again soon!

Went as a group of 7 a month ago. Service was ridiculously slow. Took a minimum of 45 minutes for our orders to be taken. We watched 3 tables sit in our servers section after us and their orders were taken before ours. By the time our appetizers came (a good hour after getting there), we still didnt have sharing plates or cutlery. When the server brought the bill, she put the debit machine in front of me before I had a chance to look at the bill. I commented that I hoped it was correct. I asked about the tip and she told me an 18% gratuity had been added as we were a group over 6. No wonder for the lack of service and attention. Furthermore, I reached out to the Manager on Duty the next morning to tell her of our less than great dining experience, as well as the fact that I was overcharged for a glass of wine. The cost of the wine was $20.95+taxes and fees for a minimum $27.45. The Manager apologized, told me I should have called the night before, asked for my details and said shed get back to me. Eight days later I received an email asking if Id like a GC or a refund for the wine. I said Id take a GC and give them another chance. Its been three weeks and they havent bothered to get back to me. If you want to go where theres brutal service - or should I say no service and eat overpriced mediocre food, this is the place for you!

I was at Copper Blues for a fundraiser and we were in their side room. The service and food were both excellent! In spite of having 80 people arriving at the same time and looking for drinks and food, our server was very friendly, calm and professional. Our drinks and food arrived promptly and with a smile. Drinks were cold while dinner was hot and excellent. Overall, I was quite impressed with the restaurants ability to handle such a large group so smoothly in a somewhat tight space. Reccommend!

Have been to Copper Blue many times -staff was always nice, courteous and professional . Went on November16 for Bluelicious for 2nd time. Our server was new and didn t know answers to some questions i.e. catch of the day however she was very nice and courteous. However since we had several questions- we were a party of 5- (one item on menu had mussels we we substituted jut a week before with no problem) and 2 of us asked for a subscription with this particular dish, it apparently caused a problem. A minute later the so-called manager arrived an asked - very rudely- us why we were causing problems-that if we didn t like the dish order something else - she was loud, extremely rude and abnoxious - and walked away without us being able to say anything- apparently she is the Owner - Carey or Kari? We were so taken aback it spoiled nor only the meal but the time out together- Owner or not she needs lessons in how to treat not only patrons but people in general Will NEVER go again or recommend it

This was easily the worst experience I ve had at a restaurant. We made a reservation 9 months prior at this restaurant for 6:30. We got there at 6:30 and were told our reservation was at 7. We have the email where this was arranged, but fine - it s all good, we waited. The manager was super rude, like we were inconveniencing her by being there on time. Finally we were sat, this was well after 7 and it was at a small little table in the corner, there were 7 of us, the reservation was made for 7 of us. Fine, obviously someone messed up, we were still excited to have a good time and some good food. The waitress comes, they re out of prime rib and lamb - again, like this is a steakhouse but things happen. We order our drinks, she brings us the wrong bottle of wine. We ask about it and she meets us with well, I brought you the cheapest one . We were out to celebrate, we came to a nice restaurant and wanted a nice meal and drinks and we were more than happy to pay for that experience, we weren t looking to save money. She also brought the wrong glass of wine to another person in our party - so now drinks were wrong. She brought us our free bread, which she noted was free. There were 6 pieces, for 7 people. Again, whatever. We ordered our food and informed her of a serious sesame allergy, we were met with well you know sesame is in the building right? and then basically said she would let the kitchen know but couldn t make any promises. This is an anaphylactic reaction to sesame, this isn t a I don t like sesame this is serious and life threatening. Our food came, she handed the wrong plate to the sesame allergy person, and then when we corrected her she handed her the correct plate, but didn t repeat sesame free - we confirmed, and thank god there was no sesame and she was fine. At this point, from the beginning so much has gone wrong so my SIL goes to speak with the manager . She was kind but firm, basically saying like as a manager you should be aware of this. The manager did not give a flying f. We could see her rolling her eyes, basically just responding with uh huh . No apologies, nothing. The waitress, who again wasn t the entire problem, comes over and apologizes to us for not liking her service. We told her it wasn t all her. Super awkward. It felt like she was crying so my guess was the manager / owner put the blame on her and reamed her out. We get our bills. They re wrong. She fixes them, they re still wrong. At this point we re all just so fed up, we want to leave. We pay for everything, including the wrong bottle of wine and the wrong glass of wine. She noted the 18% auto gratuity was removed and she understands if we don t want to tip her, which again - this wasn t all her fault, so we genuinely felt bad She then sat at the table with us, and let us know the manager we spoke with was the owner. At the end of the day - what do they care? We re tourists, we will never be back again, they got our money and the owner could not care less. It was almost comical how bad it was. The table next to us seemed to be dealing with similar issues as well.

This was the worst experience I ve ever had at a restaurant from the food to the service, and even including the manager/owner. I will break it down very simply because there is way too much to write - our wine was watered down - we were brought the wrong bottle of wine and told it was cheap so thought we d want it anyway (we did not). - a severe allergy at our table was made fun of by our server and no special treatment was given to ensure that meal was cautiously prepared and delivered - we were booked months in advance at 630pm for dinner, upon arrival we were told we messed up you ll be seated at 7. We were seated at 7:20pm. - we didn t have a server or water at our table until about 7:40pm. - the steak was greasy and flavourless, it tasted like a cheap chain restaurant. - we were given bread for our troubles lol 6 pieces for 7 of us. - lastly, I kindly mentioned to the owner/manager we were disappointed with our service because it was a special night, and she just gave me attitude and kept saying okay? . She then blamed her staff and let them take the blame and didn t even give us so much as a sorry to the table, nothing. We were charged in full for the entire dinner and made to feel guilty for even bringing up the fact that we weren t happy. I wouldn t go here if you paid me to go back. The owner doesn t care about her staff and treats them horribly - it s ultimately a reflection of her not knowing what she s doing and a lot of the staff are young, they deserve better. I frequent blue mountain with family and friends and can assure you we will NEVER be back. Dietary restrictions: They laughed at the allergy and never even took a second to confirm it was all clear, the manager plays no role in ensuring this is taken care of either. Do not go here if you have any allergy, or dietary sensitivity.

While most of this has been said in previous reviews, people need to be warned to stay away from this place! Much of this would be no big deal if they were single occurrences (and/or at least handled appropriately by the staff!) Unfortunately, this was not the case. We showed up on time for our 630pm reservation that was confirmed well in advance in writing via email, only to be told the time is wrong and we will have to come back at 7. So we did, and we still waited for a while inside the small entryway. We were then brought to our very crammed in table, where we waited a good 10 minutes before our server came over. Drink orders were taken, and when they arrived, 1 of the glasses of wine was wrong (ordered white, was brought a glass of red), and the bottle that was given was also clearly wrong as it was a type that was not even on the menu. When it was pointed out that this wasn t the right bottle, the server responded with we are out of the one you ordered, so I just brought the cheapest one . This felt a bit insulting that it would be assumed we would just want the cheapest one instead of asking and informing us they are out of the requested type. There wasn t much of an apology given, and the ones who had ordered the bottle were awkwardly asked by the server so do you still want it? After a quick taste, as well as the pressure and trying to be polite despite all the mix ups, it was decided they would stick with this bottle. It should also be mentioned that all the wines tasted watered down. When it came time for our food orders, we were informed they were out of a few of the menu options (minor inconvenience, but I want to include everything as it really all collectively contributed to these reviews). When someone at the table asked our server their opinion on a specific dish, the response was can t say, I ve never had it . When my sister-in-law wanted to make sure what she ordered didn t have any sesame in it and let our server know she has a severe sesame allergy, the response was you do know it s in the building right? My jaw actually dropped when this was said as I was so taken aback. We were given a plate of complementary bread, and as we passed it around we realized there were 6 pieces given to our table of 7, adding more insult to the night. Our food was served (without any confirmation the plate served to my SIL was in fact the one that should have had extra precaution for no cross contamination), and our server did not return to check on anything until we were all already done with our mediocre-at-best meals. My SIL then went to speak with the manager (who we ve since learned is actually the owner), and was not given an apology but was rudely brushed off with yeah okay as well as the accusation that we changed the reservation. When my SIL said we did not change it at all, and that we came at the time that was confirmed through email she stated well we don t check our email . Seems strange we were able to confirm a reservation this way at all if that is the case. Boxes were brought to the table to take home all the unfinished food, but then no one returned for 15 minutes to bring bills. At this point, we had all put our coats on in hopes they would get the hint from across the room (we obviously would have asked for bills if anyone had actually come back to our table). When the bills did come, the server informed us she removed the automatic 18% gratuity and that she understands if we don t leave a tip (a completely awkward and unprofessional thing to say). 4 of the bills were wrong, and they were given back to the server to be straightened out. It wasn t until later we found out 1 bill was STILL wrong and had the wrong glass of wine on it. At that point we had been waiting for so long and in such shock over everything that had transpired, our friend didn t mention it as she (like the rest of the group as well) just wanted to end this nightmare dinner. It is obvious to say none of us will be returning to Copper Blues ever. The only positive part was that at least my dog enjoyed the leftovers.

Lovely place to unwind from the cold with that special lady who loves her some gnocchi! Brie was bangers too.

Had the seafood platter for one from the Bluelicious menu, this ends Dec 1. When I received it I was dismayed that the mussels were in a tomato sauce....this was SO delicious I cleaned my plate which rarely happens as portions are too huge. This was well worth the money and I left absolutely stuffed. Emily was a friendly helpful server, thank YOU.

Copper Blues was a first for me, and it didnt disappoint! My girlfriend and I had the striploin steak, crab cake, and carrot cake for dessert, with a couple of drinks on the side. Servers were very friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent as well!

We had a work conference at Blue Mountain and went to Copper Blues for a set menu dinner. Their service team/management absolutely crushed it. It was the best service any of us had since pre-covid, and mind you this group was for 50 people. They were on-top of the ball and easily pivoted any thing that came up unexpected. HIGHLY recommend. Food was excellent too.

Food was delicious. Best French onion soup weve ever had. Fettuccine was amazing as well. Server and hostess were both awesome. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

The beef tenderloin is incredible.

For price of entrée the atmosphere could be a little classier. We were also very surprised to discover that pop is NOT free refill! We spent $40 on diet pepsi between the 4 of us! Each small glass of diet pepsi was almost $5!!! The blackend rib eye steak was AMAZING. The Copper Blues Fettuccine wasnt very good... it was just ok, I didnt even finish it... Calamari was very good Smoked mozzarella stuffed Raviloi was very good. Walnut crusted brie Fritters were just ok, not that great. Waitress was very friendly, polite and good service.

The restaurant atmosphere was great and the food as well. The staff who assisted us (Emily) was lovely with the kids and attentive to detail.

My husband and I have been here twice, the prime rib is to die for but the green beans were absolutely horrible this time I would suggest doing another vegetable with this dish, and bring horseradish out with it. Other than that. One of my favourite places.

It was overpriced & service was meh. Maybe well try again in the summer when patio is open, but most likely not.
