Great food. Service was fantastic. Chicken was wonderful
I made a reservation and brought 4 international clients to St. Hubert for lunch. We waited over 10 mins to be seated. I asked for English menus because my clients didn't speak French. After we were seated, the waitress came to take our orders, but we still didn't have any menus. I asked if she spoke English, and she said no. I tried to explain in French that none of us spoke French and needed someone who spoke a little bit of English. She walked away, not understanding us. We waited another 10 mins before we got one English menu and 2 French menus. We decided what we wanted and waited close to 20 mins before the waitress came back to take our order. I tried to tell her I was ordering for everyone, and she kept asking my clients what they wanted. I speak very little French but said pour homme poulet svp. She finally came over to me so I could order for everyone. While we were waiting for our food, another waitress spoke to me in English as she was bilingual. When making the reservation, we told the person on the phone we were English. When someone went to seat us, I told them we were English and asked for english menus. Yet we did not get the waitress who was bilingual? In total, our lunch took over 2 hours and went spent over $200. I will not be bringing any clients to this location anymore. We had to work later to make up for the extra long lunch. The food when it arrived was delicious, and my clients enjoyed the traditional taste from a Québec restaurant, but they were disappointed in the service as was I.
The food is great like at any St-Hubert location in Quebec, what makes the one in Thetford exceptional in my opinion is the staff and service. The staff was super welcoming but the star of the show was the lady who served us, Johanne. She was extremely nice and gave us impeccable service.
Was in the area for a sporting event and thought St Hubert would be the best choice of place to eat, as we've often ate at St Hubert in many other areas. Unfortunately for us, we were overcharged for our meal (should of been part of Table D'hôte but each item charged separately) and we informed the personnel who said they'd look into this but never got back to us. Dining out is expensive enough these days without overpaying - will certainly bypass next time and try a local restaurant.
This is my first time here (I live in the Maritimes). I was impressed right from the beginning when our server pushed the tables together, to accommodate the size group we had, and she even got down under the table to adjust the foot so the table didn’t rock (I think this is the first time I have EVER seen a server do this). She was super considerate, very thorough, and a truly tremendous waitress. Way to go! Will totally return…..oh yeah…the food was good too!
Tiny portions, cold food, missing ingredients and overall lackluster experience, for a meal that was on the more expensive side of their menu. The service from our waitress was good, but after all of this was reported they only removed a paltry 10% discount after a very unpleasant experience.
Excellent lunch. If you are not from Quebec you should try it as a cultural experience.
We always come here with my parents and our daughters. The food is very well prepared and always hot when we receive it. There is one waiter who is either really impatient or just doesn't like us and that can put a damper on our dinner experience but otherwise the restaurant is good.
The cuisine is not 5 star but the service and atmosphere are good and makes up for what is lacking in the kitchen

For the question which dish do you recommend I would say none. Right here in Thetford Mines I consume St-Hubert also degelasse 1x out of 2. Small portion, cold, 1/4 inch dry on top of the reheated chicken and when you call the only thing they can say is Thank you for your comments and we apologize. Its still disappointing. Im going to personally meet Mr. Vincent to talk to him about it personally. Its not a free lunch I want, its a good quality chicken when I want to eat it. Right here in Thetford I eat scrapbook like that. Everywhere else in Quebec this is something that has never happened to me. And Mr. Vincent is rarely available as far as I can see!!! He has to hide behind his profits from selling his scrap which should simply be thrown away. It reminds me of when Dunkin donuts served their dry donuts before closing business ah ah ah!!! But its because of the young people in training. So why not put a supervisor??? More profit, thats the answer! Continue to pass your chickens dry and pocket the profits people are too stupid to talk and go back. Long live St-Hubert in Thetford Mines.

Les brochettes crevettes sont succulentes, les cocktails fait comme si on étais dans le sud, une qualité qu on ne trouvent pas ailleurs. Je vous conseille vivement ce restaurant. Very well served and welcomed by the employees and very pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the dishes was impeccable and the cooking of my quarter leg was perfect! I highly recommend, wonderful and very warm team!

Delivery order of $150 made 2 hours in advance received 30 minutes late 5 minutes after the scheduled time we called to follow up. We were confirmed that the order was ready but left on the counter... telling you how cold the fries were. Oh and $37 for 2 plates of chicken fingers, I think its expensive to pay already... understand our feelings about eating cold and late.

We wanted to have a nice little evening and we had a show at 8am. We said why not go to a restaurant. There were 7 of us (4 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child). We arrived at 5:30 a.m. (at least 2 hours and 15 minutes before we had to leave for our show). At 5:45 we placed our order. At 6:15am (30 minutes later) we received our entries. At 6:45 a.m. (another 30 minutes later), we were told for the first time that they apologized and that there was a slight delay in the kitchen, but that we would have everything soon. Several servers came by to tell us it would happen soon. At 7:15 a.m., we told our waitress that we had a show and that we really needed to get our meal quickly. She told us again that it was coming soon. At 7:25 a.m., we called in the manager, hoping he would make things happen more quickly. He told us he was going to the kitchen. 10 minutes later, we mentioned to the waitress that we really had to leave very soon and we wouldnt have time to eat. She makes us pay and tells us its coming... 5 minutes pass, its still not there. At 7:45 a.m., we left without having eaten (the waiters came out with our plates at that time...too late we had to leave). We ask for our refund .for what we didn t eat and we leave on an empty stomach (sigh) at least the show was good .but the service at the St-hub no comments!!!

Nice restaurant but lacks a little maintenance, bar bathroom not very clean, stanless handles disgusting. Lovely welcome from the polite and kind smiling waitress. Delicious cream of chicken and good chicken finger. Onion soup ok but too much bread for the broth which was good as well as the wings However, I find the prices too expensive for what they are! The restaurant almost empty on a Sunday lunchtime??? Dont ask yourself any questions!

Amazing to see that this restaurant is still operating in Thetford! 1:30 wait to receive an Order for delivery and this is the 2nd time I have ordered delivery from this restaurant and twice more than 1 hour of waiting. The poor delivery guy who is supposedly the only one who delivers. The tip deserves it but the restaurants will have to improve this aspect. Impossible to recommend another time.

Waitress doesnt bring coleslaw, its a crime!!!! No glass of water either, we had 3 different waitresses, lots of mistakes on the plates, breast instead of thigh, vegetable instead of salad and no sauce on the side. Finally no service...

Good morning Worst experience ever at St Hubert, crispy ribs not seasoned and burnt and received 8 ribs instead of 10. The waitress ordered us the missing ribs and they were as burnt as the first. Very disappointing
