Upscale all-suite hotel offering dining & an outdoor pool, plus a bar with lake & mountain views.
This place is a great wonder...not only a hotel but a place to dilute from this crazy world...try the spa, very nice and the rooms are sooo comfortable..... highly recommend
We have a terrible experience with check in and check out. My group were a large group with 7 family and my family has different booking . We were given a wrong room at first then we had to ask for change. Our room was not being cleaned daily as we were advised. When I asked front desk, i was blamed that there was people in the room, and was told room keeper only works till 3PM . However our group was out whole day and we even had the sign ask to clean room. But no one came to clean. The worst is the check out. It was a mess. Our invoice were all wrong. Room 205 were messed up with room 305. Our names were all wrong on the invoice and it is so hard to get to the front desk. Our credit card has multiple charges that are different than in the invoice. This is definitely not senior or family friendly . I would advise not to come
I really got disappointed with the service of this hotel while they give out the deal but trying to charge me extra everytime i call them and even after we finalize on the deal but they still charge me with an extra without telling me. It is hard to call or reach for their help. I got home with my credit card being charged for more than 10 transactions without any notify, really tired since booking and now will be the payment. I am really unhappy about this
I went on a short vacation there in August and booked a room with a lake view through Booking.com. Since it was my vacation, having a beautiful lake view in the morning was extremely important to me. However, when I checked in and went to my room, I found myself facing a parking lot instead. I was confused and spoke to the administrator, explaining that I had booked a lake view room, checked that the price was the same, and asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, since it was Sunday, no manager was available. At that time, there were plenty of lake view rooms available, but they told me that guests who book through Booking.com receive rooms with a parking lot view. Additionally, when I asked for slippers, the receptionist told me I had to go to a building next to the hotel and ask in the spa if I could buy them. They also charge an additional $10–15 for a robe. Nice location but service is awful
Dog friendly hotel! We rented a suite with the view of the lake, 100% recommend this hotel if you want to relax and enjoy the scenic views!
Overall, probably the best hotel in Thetford Mines. The location is gorgeous and the rooms are spacious. Sadly though, the customer service is as slow as ever. We were there for a wedding and somehow, there was only 1 staff at the front desk when all the guests arrived.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a king-size bed and a separate shower and toilet. The highlight was the stunning lake view from the balcony, which provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, the balcony was marred by a significant number of spiders and webs, and we even found a spider in the shower. Additionally, the shower shelves needed cleaning, as there were signs of mold. The Tomahawk Restaurant was a bit disappointing. While the wine list was extensive, we were unable to find the wine we had ordered and were forced to choose a more expensive option. My fish dish was unfortunately quite small, even the waiter apologized. The restaurant's ambiance was casual, with outdoor tables instead of a traditional dining room. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there were a few areas where improvements could be made, such as addressing the spider issue and enhancing the dining experience at the restaurant."
We came back from our stay yesterday. The staff is incompetent and a lot of the activities aren’t even available. The employee told us the swimming pool was out of use for the entire week, so we couldn’t swim. We told the receptionist we wanted to use the pedal boat and inflatable water course so she told us to walk outside to the other building to pay. So we walked 5 minutes away and was told by the other employees that they don’t offer those activities until late JUNE. So that was a waste of time. They should’ve advertised this on their website and the receptionist shouldn’t have told me to go all the way outside for nothing. Incompetent staff. Also, the activity pack is listed for about $45 on the website but I heard the receptionist tell a customer that it was $55 over the phone. And she didn’t tell them those activities will be available only at the end of June. So deceptive. We reserved a spot at the Tamahawk grill because there was burgers and Alfredo linguine on the online menu. But when we showed up, the waitress said they took the burgers and Alfredo sauce off the menu. Lovely. Things to note: the pool table closes at 10:30 pm. The room was nice, I got the lake view and you can see the pool and hot tubs. But there was small faded pinkish red stains on the blankets (period blood…?). If they were actually honest about what activities they’re currently offering, if the staff was actually TRAINED, if their website was up to date with the menu, and if the sheets were actually clean, then this place would be great. But it’s not. Hope my review helps any potential visitors!
WoW!!!! The room was superb. We had life on the lake. The children went climbing nearby. We went to the pub where the atmosphere and staff were great. Then head to the tomahawk grill! Our server Jeremy was super nice. We took 4 different dishes, the ribs, the beef cheeks, the filet mignon and the braised lamb. Everything was absolutely divine I recommend this place 200% thank you to everyone for your lovely welcome
Work party Food and drinks: Excellent catering service
Really very very disappointed with our last experience! The service received is not worthy of this type of establishment! However, we really liked it the two previous times we went there (in Thetford and in Scott) but we think we wont go back at all because the service we received was so execrable! We had booked an executive suite to celebrate a wedding anniversary, we took the trouble to communicate by email initially with the person responsible for reservations, mentioning that we were coming because we really liked this place and that we were coming to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The follow-up has already been very complicated by this person. We also had a telephone conversation with the (supposedly) reservations manager to find out what could be done to best enhance our holiday stay, but not much was offered, which was disappointing enough given the occasion. This person offered to make the reservation at the restaurant for us (wow what an incredible privilege! :( ) but we had already left a message at the restaurant to reserve. We did not hear back from the restaurant to confirm or deny our reservation. When the time came for our stay, we went to the restaurant, but huge disappointment, it was closed!!! A Saturday evening!! No one warned us that there was no restaurant service that Saturday evening!! Neither the manager with whom we spoke several times (emails and telephone), nor the restaurant itself which never returned our call. The staff present that evening at reception (who were very nice) redirected us to the pub which is located outside the hotel and which happens to be a snowmobile relay. It is completely unacceptable to find yourself in this type of establishment eating chicken wings or other fast food to celebrate a wedding anniversary. This ruined most of our weekend celebration. We do not recommend this establishment to anyone, worst service ever.
perfect for a weekend to relax, you arrive and you dont have to leave again, there is everything on site
Very nice hotel and everything is very clean too. Comfort of the bed, very good, king bed with quality blanket. The reception staff are overwhelmed by the lack of staff, but they still provide excellent service with a smile. The decor is superb, our room was on the lake side!! The Tomahawk restaurant, very good and the buffet lunch was complete and fresh. The pub offers big plates at an affordable price (gluten-free option too). The only thing a little negative is the Noah spa which needs a refresh and again, understaffed, it seems (no toilet paper, non-functional dryer, no supervision so whispering is not not respected, no fireplace lit, etc.). Overall, we had an excellent stay. Rooms: Large, clean, no carpet, nice shower and relaxation area.
Beautiful view and quiet corner!
We stayed 2 days at the hotel and nothing to say about the rooms. However, we had forgotten a bag at the hotel with things worth $70. We are not from Thetford, so I called reception to say that I would pick it up within the next 2 weeks. I was told no problem that he put a note on the bag so as not to throw it away. I called at the end of the 2nd week to say that I was coming tomorrow and I was told that the bag was thrown away because there were two boxes of raspberries and there were flies. Instead of just throwing the fruit away, they threw the whole bag away. This is a big lack of judgment and the person(s) didnt use their brain at all to simply remove the fruit, especially since I said I was going to come back. We will definitely not return.
Everything is perfect except lunch. Very expensive for the variety at the buffet and the quality. Cold food. Very disappointing for the quality of the hotel.
We have a terrible experience with check in and check out. My group were a large group with 7 family and my family has different booking . This is definitely not senior or family friendly . I would advise not to come Rooms: Rooms are new and updated
We had concerns given the bad reviews, but we stayed 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised! Price for room and suite very affordable and clean, several activities offered within the hotel. The 2 on-site restaurants offer quality service and an amazing menu. The weak point is the soundproofing of the floor/ceiling. It is certain that to have a lie-in, we must not have a family above us! We plan to return without a doubt!
A beautiful place, everything was perfect! Rooms: Beautiful large modern rooms
Flawless
The receptionist did not prioritize the guests present in front of her. The catering director seems to insist on being as unfriendly as possible. The reception walls are damaged and/or dirty (I cant imagine the rooms). The employees dont greet you. The website is not up to date. The tourist map of the region (proudly displayed at reception) is not framed and is manipulated. I was going to apply for a position...Luckily I showed up on the scene and was able to see all the horror. It looks nice but everything is cheap, including the service.
very beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place, lots of activities to do on the site, very good restaurants on site. Lots of activities nearby too, golf, walking trails, hiking and mountain biking.
Very nice room for a wedding but for the organization I do not recommend it. Big lack of staff. It offers a turnkey service but after several times changing event coordinators, we all managed it ourselves without a coordinator a few days before the wedding.
To avoid. No customer service. We NEVER had access to our room even though reservation was confirmed. We had a setback and had to arrive after 11 p.m. Several calls and note when booking online, as they told us. No return calls in 48 hours. Arriving there at 1:30 a.m., we were NEVER able to enter the hotel. Call the number on the door, they hang up on us. We had to find a plan B at 2 a.m. to avoid sleeping in our car. They refunded us, but no apology. No chance of us going back.
They should ensure that their employees are familiar with their products and services before they are behind the reception counter. This would avoid imbroglios, unnecessary travel, stress and loss of confidence...
Nice place
I loved my stay at your hotel! I recommend it to you
An extraordinary and exceptional place with wonderful, friendly staff that is worth visiting I have rarely seen such a perfect welcome. Rooms: Perfect Nearby activities: Perfect Safety: Perfect Walkability: Perfect
We had a 2-night stay with access to the Noah spa in mid-October 2024. Our stay was simply perfect. Excellent hotel service, always with a smile no matter the time of day/evening. The room (king bed, lake view) was very clean, modern and the bed was comfortable. We had lunch at the Tomahawk buffet and everything was excellent and fresh. We had dinner at the Pub located in the neighboring building and everything was very good. Again, the service was excellent even though the restaurant was full (presence of groups and hockey game night) and the waitresses were very busy. Service with a smile to apologize for delays, all very adequate and courteous. The Noah spa was also very good. Good service, everything was clean and several places to sit/lie down. Personally, I would have liked the water in the large pool to be slightly warmer. Also, again its very personal, I didnt love the principle of the Noah spa where everything is inside (or almost) so rest is also done inside and we therefore hear the jets of the large pool, so its a bit noisy. In short, I had a little reservations after reading some comments over the last few months, but our stay was perfect!
Second visit to the Tomahawk restaurant and what can I say? The wine was good. Meals to review. Lack of service, skills, a room manager, a chef in the kitchen! Brief concept to review!!!
Quality hotel with several services. Excellent option in the Thetfordmines region.
Avoid! The hotel supposedly offers an all-inclusive resort formula at a high price, but our stay was a series of constraints and very poor customer service. I was alone with my teenager and our activity passports were not compatible! To do certain activities together, you had to pay extra. When we arrive, we are told about the constraints that await us in order to be able to take advantage of our passport. We have to go and book at the spa ourselves (instead of offering to call for us...) and we have to find a way to combine sufficient time for dinner in order to take advantage of the very limited time slot offered to us at the spa (from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)! None of the bikes were big enough for my son (14 year old who measures 5 feet 8), the miniputt was in pitiful condition. In the presentation of the package on the hotel website, it announces free consumption per person ... upon arrival, we are told that it is a free 2nd drink with the purchase of a first, per person, and, only on wine and beer. In addition to being false advertising, This is discrimination against people who do not consume alcohol. The icing on the sundea: I was charged extra fees, including the $50 meal credit and the security deposit not deducted from my bill and a week later, despite 2 calls from me to the manager, everything has not yet been corrected. Really, for a relaxing all-inclusive formula, this is completely off the mark.
Quite frankly very disappointed and very happy that it was only one night. Seeing all the good comments I had high expectations for this establishment. I dont know if its the fact that we had a package purchased on Tuango but we were given rooms on the side of the road so it was very noisy. The walls are made of cardboard above us in the evening it looked like either there was a party above us or that people were walking very hard with their heels. The air conditioning is old and very noisy and works when it wants to so it was very hot and when someone closes a door in the hallway it resonates in our room. at 9:30 this morning the maids were banging on the doors shouting maid uh... a little respect please we pay practically $300 to sleep a little more! I advise people not to buy this package because on booking currently the room is $112 + $28 fees I imagine that on the $300 package we pay the majority for the spa because the room is not worth this amount at all. They give a $25 credit which is nice but brunch the next day is $30 per person. Aside from the Noah SPA side which is magnificent and the nice lady, the rest of the staff is not very cheerful including the gentleman at the exit of the restaurant who looks as stupid as his two feet. On the other hand, our waitress at Tomahack was very nice. The Tomahawk was all good but the pudding chômeur for $10 is too hard you have to fight with the bowl to eat it because its a kind of vanilla cake cooked in the bowl and put caramel on the top nothing underneath. Soup, tortelleni and delicious Châteaubriand. The girl had a very ordinary reception last night. Its Friday, the vending machines are practically empty as far as snack foods are concerned. A bit complicated to manage with a package because you are told one thing at reception, and at the restaurant its something else. At first no one asked if we had slept well... maybe they were afraid of my answer. I worked in the hotel industry but it was our priority to find out if people had slept well. It was 28 degrees yesterday outside their big fireplace in the center gives off a lot of heat which meant that it was still hot in the hall but hey this is a small detail since we dont sleep in the hall.... Seems like a good place to relax there initially but noisy everywhere in the hall where people are playing billiards or in the restaurant so my expectations were not met.. too bad because beautiful place despite everything. We had booked for next summer to sleep one night for a wedding and it was too noisy so we were going to cancel and come home. Nearby activities: spa, swimming pool, watercraft rental, golf.
Floor immediately stuck, strange smell
100% everything is perfect Noteworthy details: Jade and Cam
Good hotel to host an event or rest with your partner. Unfortunately, the place is full of add-ons and not a lot of things are included
Very disappointing hotel Unable to talk to anyone on the phone We still booked online Take the epicurean package We made a reservation for the Tomahawk restaurant on Evening directly at the desk Surprise the restaurant is closed because of a conference We go to the pub next door THE Morning lunch included, even. Scenario no lunch, we have to pick up our lunch at the conference and go through the entire hotel with our plate to eat seated So no, we wont go anymore and we no longer recommend it
After purchasing a gift certificate, I had to ask for confirmation. And as a gift certificate, weve seen better, its an email with a code and the amount. I was told that they could send a PDF if it was for a gift; nothing received yet to date. In short, Im not saying its bad, but for the service in terms of certificates well come back.
I went to a wedding, I didnt sleep there but it was beautiful
Good morning, Several positive points. NO CARPET Easy online booking directly on their website. Good reception. Beautiful large suite at a good price. Beautiful little balcony. You can walk around the complex, beautiful place. An outdoor pool and a few spas but too busy for my taste. Negatives Only one elevator for this fairly large complex. The room seems really clean except I saw several body hairs on the floor. Television blocked from the hotel system, works very poorly, few stations and no way to plug in our own firestick or others. Very noisy air conditioning.
Very nice hotel, the food was excellent. Im going to go back there.
Avoid if with reduced mobility Positive aspects: beautiful configuration of the suites, excellent service from Sylvain in maintenance Negative aspects: bathroom floor too slippery, reception service unable to confirm availability of late check-out for the next day, most tables at the Tomahawk restaurant raised so difficult to sit on for young children or people with reduced mobility, very uncomfortable sofa bed BUT ABOVE ALL During a power outage, since there is no generator, the elevators do not work, so we were told that people in walkers or wheelchairs had to wait for the electricity to return in order to be able to get off their floor. No effort from staff to find a solution. Fortunately, some very kind people offered to take 2 people in wheelchairs down the stairs. Not impressive Safety: Poor effort to meet the needs of people with reduced mobility
I had asked for a view of the lake because 6 years ago I was seen in the parking lot and it was very noisy and they gave me another view of the parking lot and no more rooms on the lake side were available so very disappointed and it was sure Im not coming back!!!! Rooms: Seen in parking lot despite my request to be seen on the lake so disappointment!!
Tomahawk grill dont go there ... Serve pieces of prelart for $95, overcooked as hard as cement when you ask for rare... a steak as thin as a leaf with a bone in the end... Thats what Ive never received and been so disappointed ..not to mention the patio chairs....
Horrible !!! Worst expérience ever !! Room with Parking view with a lot of noise ! No service Worst hôtel Manager ! Rooms : 1/5
Nice hotel but the staff is very stupid and unpleasant.
Outdated customer service no return calls.
Perfect temperature!
The hotel is super clean, the room is spacious, microwave, fridge and other tools at your disposal, swimming pool and jacuzzi is clean but the jacuzzi jet does not work properly, staff at reception do not know the information on the site, hotel and spa while she had a note to her Provision at the reception, it charges $6 for a bottle of water, ice water machine at the reception and you have to go down to get it, in general I really liked my stay but there is a huge lack of employees.
I just returned from 4 days there and I really enjoyed it. In the last 12 to 18 months, we have practically only seen bad comments in Google reviews which made me anticipate the worst. Here is a summary of my experience and response to some negative comments which you can read below. Cleanliness: Wooden room floor, very clean, no dust or hair (considering that animals are welcome). The shower was clean, except for the joint of the sliding door and the glass where there was a pink deposit (the place almost impossible to wash without removing the door). As for towels and washcloths, there were piles of spares under the sink and more in the drawer of the cabinet at the entrance. Housekeeping: When we arrive, they give us a panel which explains how it works with the housekeeper. By default, she does not enter the room during the stay. You can place something at the door so she can empty the trash and change the towels. If you want more (vacuum cleaner, shower cleaning, making the bed, in short, the complete room), its $40. Activity passport: On the site, they market lots of activities: mini-golf, climbing, etc. You need a passport to gain access. Otherwise, basic, you have access to the swimming pool, two spas, the beach and a pool table. At the reception they dont have answer to all the questions about all the activities. This is normal when you understand that it is in fact several companies that offer the activities. In the room, the telephone numbers for the Noah Spa and Boisé of the estate are on speed dial. More details on the activities below. Comfort: The bed is very firm but I found it comfortable. The pillows were very thick and soft (too much for me). The couch was uncomfortable but with a pillow it was fine. Internet: Fast, nothing to say. We streamed CTV for a movie in the evening and everything was beautiful. Billing: I had a problem with my bill which I received the same day of my departure online (I was billed for the passport every day rather than once). I called, pressed 0 so as not to hear the endless message, I was answered and refunded in less than 2 minutes. Cycling tip: chambers > 112, 212, 312, etc. are at the northwest end (Noah spa side). There is a huge staircase that opens directly onto the parking lot. Perfect for bringing bikes up to the bedroom. Activities: Climbing: 7 self-insured trails (so ok if you are alone) and several others that require a partner. It goes up high... If youre a novice, dont take the slippers if you have good espadrilles (I had to stop after 30 minutes because I couldnt feel my toes!). Noah spa: you must book your evening and you can show up at any time you like from 6 p.m. There is a dry sauna, a wet sauna, a central pool with several cabins of different jets. You are provided with the towel and a locker, which can be opened with a magnetic bracelet. Everything is included in the price, you just need to bring your swimsuit and water bottle. Mini-golf: the 18th hole swallows the ball. other than that, its a standard mini golf course. Nautical equipment rental: single/double kayak and single/family paddle board. They also have floating bikes but they are not included in the passport.
Short 24-hour stay in Thetford. The Hôtel du Domaine is an ideal place to stay in the region. Tranquility, service, friendly staff and good breakfast (not included in the room price but worth it). It is truly a hotel and convention center of the class of those in Quebec or Montreal!
Wow
Magnificent room Rather expensive breakfast Very beautiful view Relaxing place Rooms: So beautiful
Telephone service non-existent. Takes hours just to book with a lot of errors or end up with a cut line. Hidden charges without notifying the customer beforehand. Mini-fridge rather mini-bar, Very limited internet system
Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, friendly and attentive staff, simply everything your heart desires. Many thanks! Rooms
Gorgeous
What a great experience!! Seriously I have nothing negative to say!! The staff is EXTRA, Vanessa at reception is a gem (happy birthday for today ) she gave us advice and made us laugh!!! The $15 extra to get a water view room is definitely worth it!! The restaurants are excellent and the activities wow!!! The waitress Jessy C. at the lunch restaurant is excellent and adorable and Rosalie at the Pub is also an angel! I highly recommend and I will definitely return!!
We had a package, we needed to get our bottle of sparkling wine from reception and we didnt get our chocolate fondue
Very nice hotel. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as well as the beef cheek. The brunch was majestic and delicious Besides the comfort of the beds and pillows, we appreciated and recommend this place. Rooms: Besides the mattresses and pillows leaving something to be desired in terms of firmness, the room was very clean. Food and drinks: Excellent beef cheeks. My partner asked to change the sides and they responded to his request. Noteworthy details: A little disappointed with Noah Spa. No bathrobe available at 9:00 in the morning and we had mini towels. We were informed on site that Sunday is family and experienced everything that this implies on the dynamic side.
We went to the restaurant-bar side and the young man gave us excellent service. His good humor and humor were there. I recommend to everyone!
The bartender at Tomahawks was exceptional. He served us quickly and was super nice. I highly recommend the bar and hope that you will also have the chance to meet little Jeremy.
Stayed one night on Friday. Not everyone at the reception understands English well. We didnt make a reservation, we just arrived and bought a room. The hotel is modern. The room is big. The shower door is not included in the design. The shower room is large, without a door it is quite cool. After placement, I began to take a shower. It was about five in the evening. Suddenly the temperature of the water began to change sharply and the boiling water burned my back. Then the water became normal temperature, then boiling water again. Eventually, the cold water disappeared and only boiling water remained. My husband was no longer able to take a shower. Boiling water came from the faucet in the sink and in the toilet too. My husband went to the reception and explained in English what was happening. I received an answer that he was probably using the mixer incorrectly... After that I went, having some knowledge of French, I managed to achieve an understanding of the situation. The receptionist went up to the room with me and turned the taps for a long time to make sure there was no cold water anywhere. He called the repairman, who came to the room about five minutes later. The two of them continued to be surprised for another 30-40 minutes. As a result, they said that they couldn t do anything. Another 20 minutes passed and the water was not so hot. It was clear to me that there was not enough pressure in the pipes, because on Friday evening there was a large influx of clients, apparently everyone took a shower at the same time. Our room was on the top floor and there was not enough cold water. Somehow my husband managed to take a shower. At eleven in the evening, the situation repeated itself. Again there was only boiling water. And in the morning after eight oclock they washed their face with water from a bottle, because... again only very hot water came out. Upon departure, we informed the reception about this. Reservations are required for the restaurant for breakfast. We only went for breakfast. Breakfast was good, its a pity that you couldnt pour your own coffee. While the girl with the coffee pot reached the table, we had to wait and the coffee was not very hot. The pool was not yet open, but if you wish, you could visit the outdoor jacuzzi. If we come back, it won t be to the top floor, and not on Friday...
Good experience overall. We booked 1 night with package for the Noah Spa. Room on the 1st floor which we had to ask to change because it was really noisy. The change was made quickly. We also requested a late check out to enjoy the room. You must book everywhere either before or on arrival. The spa, the restaurant, the golf-in etc. Dinner at Tomahawk, surf and turf board. Delicious. The restaurant has a slightly cold atmosphere given the high ceilings and over-lighting. The spa I wouldn t have paid 50-60 for that. The water in the indoor pool is rather cold, there are no chairs and people talk very loudly. Neurospa chair to try in the small room (3 available)
An unpleasant stay from start to finish... I had reserved a room with two queen beds. When I arrive, I am given the access card for a room with a king bed. I informed reception of the error only to be told that since they had overbooked, they changed our reservation without warning. - The room (310) was dirty, we had broken glass on the balcony. - The shower was disgusting with lots of pink and black rings at the bottom of the shower door as well as on the shelves to put our products. - The bottom of the patio door was full of mold. - The billing was a disaster. They made about 10 transactions on my credit card. - We could hear children running around the floors and playing in the elevators in the evening after 10 p.m. In short, a completely relaxing stay.
A great experience. A calm and inspiring place. The staff is competent and very welcoming.
Beautiful environment.
We simply loved our stay. Several activities offered on site. The place is clean and the staff friendly. I was a little disappointed with the price of lunch. In my opinion, the price should be included in the room rental. I recommend without hesitation!
Hotel side service employees cold. Be careful if you go to the spa the bathtubs are included but at the hotel reception they charge (but in the same establishment). on the spa side, super nice and pleasant professional. Good welcome! Clean room, very cozy bed. Very calm. Lunch a little expensive for what is at the buffets.
Visit on June 24 and 25, 2023 Rooms: Very beautiful Noteworthy details: Small lake behind very pretty
The facilities are new and modern, but I was very disappointed with the rooms. The housekeeping is not done properly. The toilet had dirt and was poorly washed. The sheets were not changed, there were stains and hair everywhere. When I call reception to ask for a change of sheets, I am told that I will have to wait until tomorrow morning when the cleaning lady will be there
Pepper sauce too strong in pepper
I travel throughout the province, this hotel is one of the best I have found. Modern rooms, impeccable cleanliness and maximum tranquility. Rooms: Modern
A place to absolutely visit
Everything is magnificent and perfect wow exemplary service restaurant extra sparkling clean room!! Nothing to say about this place!!! Thank you to the domain hotel for this unforgettable stay.
Courteous and professional service
Horrible service at the entrance. Madame who ridicules us and the two boys who do the cleaning who sneer behind our backs because they wanted to charge us extra even after having made an agreement to go to the spas after 11 a.m. The room with dog hair on the chair, rot in the shower, a stocking hanging under the sofa. We had already paid for the buffet and we were asked to pay a little something again because it was late. Aside from that, the spas were fun and we will keep such good memories of it. We will not come back.
To start with, we were given a room that has a parking lot for a view that seemed like we were staying in a motel. You see cars pulling up. But it was the unorganized billing that irked me. Upon check in, I informed that we will be having breakfast in the morning. I was told it has been included and charged my card. We were not given any coupon. We went to have breakfast the next day, to my surprise, as we stood, we were called and asked to pay! So we said to check with reception, and the boss came and checked the system, I thought this would clarify the matter. To my shock, we were told that we have to pay! So we paid so as not to create a fuss. I cant believe the unsystematic billing system this hotel has. Imagine having to pay twice. I had to ask for final invoice when we got home and requested a refund when it could have been prevented had they carefully checked. Utterly disappointed.
Explanation and example below: We purchased the Chandelle package which came with one activity passport per person. However, regarding the activity passport no indication is precise e.g. mention of activities but not where to reserve them and if they must be reserved at all. The passport is not given when the room is reserved so the activities cannot be used before (ex: the Noha spa: discount in the passport/Golf In is inside the hotel and must be reserved in advance etc) the hotel is nice the rooms also we have nothing negative to say on this subject but the activities should be better explained and indicated. Nearby activities: Ask to have the activity passport explained if you have any doubts. On booking activities.
I didnt use anything in the hotel room, but they charged me 13 dollars on my credit card. When I called to ask, the receptionist was extremely impolite, saying its a quebec tax, but I already paid all my tax online, terrible service. And thats not 8 dollars plus tax, because I already paid that 8 dollars on the app. Rooms

Hello I called for a reservation for February 9, I have a package I have to go to reserve, I was told that there were no rooms left that day and yet on your site I can reserve a room myself , I would like someone to explain it to me.?
I have been a wedding photographer for several years and I frequently work at the Hôtel du Domaine for these types of events, as well as for proms. I must admit that the places are fabulous. The staff are pleasant and constantly make sure their customers are happy. You can get married indoors or outdoors! There are several possibilities. Plus, the food offered at wedding parties is always excellent! Having worked in several different places, I must admit that the Hôtel du Domaine is a favorite for me. Definitely a place to consider if you choose to get married in the beautiful town of Thetford Mines!
I love the estate hotel. We have been coming back every year since it opened. There are now 2 spas installed on the hill, access is included with the room (the view is magnificent). Plus, kids love the popcorn machine that is set up during the holiday season. Here are some activities to do in the region that we do every year: - Climbing in the center of the relief. - Snowshoeing in the wooded area of the estate and at 3 Mont Coralaine. - Skiing and tubing at Mont Adstock (15 minutes from the hotel). The Mont Adstock ski chalet has a bar and a large fireplace. I like the atmosphere. - Ice ring in the town of Thetford (very beautiful in the evening) and also at the hotel on the basin (when it is frozen). - Skiing at Mont-Orignal (1 hour from the hotel) is an ideal mountain for children (easier slope and detachable chairlift). - Restaurant le Pub. - Noah spa. - Tomahawk Restaurant. - Golf simulator at the hotel (Golf-in). - Play module for children in the wooded area of the estate. - Fat bike in the wooded area of the estate. - The town of Thetford also has several restaurants and activities to discover! Enjoy your stay
The service was really average, the hotel spa did not work well and the Restaurant had too slow service. The hotel itself was really good in terms of rooms
A beautiful hotel with modern and spacious rooms. The view of the lake is very beautiful (especially in winter with the snow!). We enjoyed staying there. A little plus because the Noah Spa is nearby.
Superb hotel, with several activities available, a restaurant, spa, etc. Rather for large groups or families, dont go there if you are looking for silence. Its very noisy. The room doors are not soundproof. All noises enter the room. No privacy when there is noise in the hallway. When I came, it was very, very dirty, everywhere. In the hallway, the bedroom, the bathroom, dirty, dirty, dirty. The people cleaning seemed to only replace the bedding. I imagine it comes from the shortage of staff. Damage !
I highly recommend, I have been to many hotels and this is one of the best I have visited. Professional, very clean and beautiful. The restaurant had excellent food and prices were average.
It should be a nice place in summer times... In winter most of the activities are closed. The rooms are clean and good and the personnel is kind.
Very welcoming staff. Good atmosphere Food and drinks: Excellent meal we ate everything. Nice lunch and sufficient. Thank you all
We just returned from a 2 night stay! And everything was excellent!! The Pub employees are really nice and we had a lot of fun and alcohol!
We had a suite, very large, well-divided room! Impeccable service too!
We had a very short stay of just one night, however I can say that the staff is very friendly, the place is very clean. There are 2 outdoor spas included with any room reservation, as well as the Noah Spa available at an additional cost. Their building is connected via a footbridge. Lots of activity whatever the season Ice rink, snowshoe/walking trail, indoor golf simulator, 2 gyms, climbing center, beach in summer with watercraft rental and mini-golf near the water. we will come back for a longer stay
Excellent quality of everything in the hotel
Beautiful spacious room. Otherwise, paid almost double the price generally displayed, no service in the room, asked to exchange towels and batteries for the remote control....The unpleasant receptionist. The hotel aims to be 4 stars with 2 services.
Dinner at the pub To taste real good smoked meat
Magnificent place, calm and beautiful. The rooms are modern and the cleanliness unmatched. The site is superb with the lake and the beach. The restaurant was delicious, impeccable service and the cocktails well made.
The list of activities is too long to list. You are not going wrong by going to this place. +++++
Excellent experience last weekend. Clean room, good restaurants and good customer service.
Used to love this place. Travel here on business. The staff was amazing before and during Covid. Since lock down ended, I have found the staff to be less accommodating and even rude. The rooms are beginning to show their age as well. Some showers have mold beginning, shower doors that dont close properly anymore, dirty curtains, scrapes on walls, seems to be a lack of tables in some rooms! etc. I hope they can turn this around.
Very nice hotel
A Sunday brunch, super good
Very good service even with reduced staff
Excellent
Very nice room and well soundproofed. The staff is ok. We ran out of hand soap and soap for the shower, the bed was too firm to have paid extra, very disappointed when we left, no one asked how your stay was... Rooms: Bed too firm
Very noisy air conditioning, bathroom door impossible to close without noise (on wheels and really noisy), dead cockroach on the toilet floor, beautiful decor but cheap installation, not worth the price of $257.00 per night . Nearby activities: Golf course
Mickey Mick show was perfect
Superb site and hotel
This hotel complex including a conference center, a spa and an artificial lake with beach was built from scratch seven to eight years ago for the greater benefit of Thetford and the region which had little to offer in terms of accommodation. quality. The rooms are large and comfortable. Having stayed in May, I was not able to fully appreciate the leisure offerings
Very nice room! Great luxury. The restaurants meals are really good. Warm service. The swimming pool and spas are really interesting. Nothing to complain about my stay, I really enjoyed the experience! Rooms: Very comfortable and luxurious
A beautiful hotel with a swimming pool and two small spas. There is a good restaurant in the lobby. However, when we arrived we were told that we did not see our name on the reservation. According to the employee, it was Expedia that did not forward the reservation to the hotel and the hotel cannot do anything about it. So it was up to us to call Expedia to cancel the reservation and rebook directly with the hotel. This made us lose an hour when we arrived. I hope that in the coming weeks, the hotel will sacrifice Expedias promotion for customer satisfaction... The receptionist was still empathetic and offered us good service but we could have done without all these steps.
A magical place, an extraordinary team, dedicated people but low-end cuisine.... Too bad, because I went there some time ago and everything was more than perfect... This time DISAPPOINTMENT. ... Friday evening, reservation in the TOMAHAWK dining room for 9 people.. arrived for 7:15 p.m., charming and empathetic waitress. We order at 7:45 p.m., our starter arrives at 9:00 p.m. Starter of Calmar, it looks like we got the bottom of the bag.... just a few small pieces and overcooked... All in an atmosphere of too loud music and not even circumstances on the eve of St. Jean.... as we have not received our main course, and after several requests to reduce the power of the sound, we ask to change dining room.... I remind you that we are in the dining room. eating since 7:15 p.m.... Change of location, our waitress is uncomfortable with the situation... Our main course plates finally arrive at 10 p.m., after several order errors.... Everything is IMPERFECT, cold, overcooked, really disappointing!!!! Even 2 people in our group did not even receive their orders at this time....The manager of the dining room apologizes for the situation and only charges us for what we consumed, aperitif, wine and starter .... Too bad for such a dedicated service team... MANAGEMENT will have to make changes, because the wall is likely to arrive quickly..... A disappointed and dissatisfied customer, but who believes that if management listens to its team, there is room for positive and constructive changes...

Very nice room with pool view on the 4th floor. Very clean and well maintained. Everything looks new.
Beautifully maintained hotel however there are drawbacks. A late checkout of 1 pm (versus the standard 11 am) costs an additional $25 and they charge a $200 security deposit in case one smokes in the room or takes items from the mini bar). The deposit is only returned after one has checked out. The Tomahawk Grill (lobby restaurant) charges top dollar for beautifully plated and generally delicious food but with middling service which includes loud lame live music that is fully audible in the quiet part of the restaurant (across the hall from the band), an inability to bring four dinners out at the same time (with no update or apology from the server) and with the salmon being served with the wrong side dish (french fries not the rosemary rice as stated on the menu). Plus the salmon was undercooked and needed to be sent back. The filet mignon ($50 CAD) took over an hour to be delivered to the table. Despite being promoted as a steak restaurant, one cannot swap a baked potato for the fries (rice is an option). Wines are listed by vineyard but not the type and the server did not know whether a merlot was available. She brought a thin-bodied wine stating it was not expensive but turned out to be $50 CAD versus the lower-end priced $28 bottles of wine available on the menu. Its a lovely place but over-priced for what it actually delivers.
Beautiful hotel, on a beautiful site, beach and activities nearby. Perfect for couples and families!
Honestly its a beautiful hotel for these rooms and its location, although it could be surrounded by even more nature closer. It lacks a little quality (space) to connect the chargers to the alarm clock (photo), management of the intensity of the lights only from the entrance whereas it would be appreciable to have the management between the 2 beds, the desk which looks more like a bar, the small fridge which is full of beers, we are asked for a deposit of $200 for this but no breakfast offered on site in the price of the room. In addition to the price of the room is added hidden fees of $9 (charging station, access to the spa and access to the park trail) and if we spend our day outside and we neither want nor need to use the spa, the trails and no need to recharge we paid for nothing. In my opinion these aspects should be your choice at $3 for each. If it were possible to improve things and improve the quality of service, I would return with great pleasure.
Beautiful location, very well thought out, well done to the designers. Very good service and nice plate at the Pub restaurant during our visit.
We stayed here for our friends wedding. The view from our room was beautiful and the hotel was quiet even with the multiple activities going on as the hotel rooms are on the opposite side of the event rooms and swimming area. This is a big plus!! The staff was polite and courteous, there was always someone ready to help or answer questions. The room was soundproof, as we never heard the two other weddings taking place next door. Our rooms were fine, nothing spectacular other than the view. One strange thing that happened several times was that the TV would open during the night with different guest names on the screen. There were about 20 of us from the wedding who shared this same strange event at brunch the next day. I dont know what the problem could be, but if I was there on a business trip and was woken up by the television several times during the night, I would be frustrated. We still enjoyed our stay!
The employees are very nice and helpful, but it is the management of the hotel itself that is deficient and causes the problems and huge inconvenience to visitors. Rooms: There were dirty towels left in the wardrobe Food and drinks: Extremely long service!!! The poor waiter didnt know what to offer us to keep us waiting... We ordered at 6:30 p.m.... its currently 8:39 p.m. and were still waiting for our plates...
The hotel is good and clean. There is a heated outdoor pool and 2 spas. The spas accommodate 6 people maximum, but at 4 people its tight and often you have to be with strangers if you want to use the spa because the recommended 30 minutes is not respected. There is a beach, an inflatable game on the water, a mini-putt. Sunday brunch is very expensive, $28. We decided to go to the nearby Ben and Florentine. The portions are large and the plate costs around $18.
Beautiful place, modern and quiet. However, one of the 2 outdoor spas left something to be desired, dirty and smelly water. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Very nice site and courteous and helpful staff Rooms: Absolutely beautiful Nearby activities: View of the interresante basin Safety: Well-secured access Food and drinks: Great food
Expensive! We arrive at 1600 oclock, wait half an hour at reception, settle into the room and take a spa, its 1800, have an aperitif then dinner! Lack of items on the menu then wine list same thing not up to date we took the package at the table -$75 and indicate the service on the meal but we are asked for it on the invoice then not good cooking on the beef but madame waitress replaced him, she was intentional and kind! So a room 2 beer dinner with a bottle of wine at $60 = normal a starter and main course no dessert or coffee then lunch ok but no music the 2 waitresses were not able to put on the music although nice dining room = 0 atmosphere for $685 I dont like to criticize but its a shame theres great potential = beautiful site but lots of details to sort out and I have people from Thedford saying they wont go back there and theyre business people
Very expensive for the quality
I would have liked to leave a better rating, but my girlfriend and I were unable to use the hotel-spa package we purchased. A certain price was displayed on the site and we called before purchasing it to be sure of availability. Suddenly the package purchased the same day we called back to reserve the room, but it was not available and we could not even use the package on the dates we requested. If we wanted to use it it was an extra $150. The package is also non-refundable. We are unfortunately disappointed with the somewhat fraudulent offers.
Reception is particularly slow. For TV, the signal freezes regularly, its still problematic, your internet network seems jerky. Very nice room, modern, we appreciated it.
Beautiful place for nature lovers.. Modern room, quite clean although we saw dust accumulated in a few quite visible places. We were also treated to repetitive noises in the wall of the air conditioning which prevented us from sleeping a little. We took advantage of the swimming pool and one of the 2 outdoor spas (spa which is supposed to be 16 years and over but who were always full of children. Otherwise Antoine at reception was very nice when we arrived.
Had a great experience. Accommodating staff, efficient check in, clean and spacious rooms. We had meals included as well and it was fantastic, something for the whole family. No complaints, great stay near the Thetford Mines!
Very clean. Good service...nice location...the beach is really good...
Lots to say about this hotel. 1- clean place, nice room, spacious 2- patio door to my room broken. Impossible to close it. A 6-inch space remains open and unbarred. Clogged sink, wake up at the wrong time in the morning. Virtually non-existent hot water in the shower on my last day. Telephone in the room not functional. Restaurant for lunch. Nothing left on the menu, buffet type only. High-end restaurant as the Tomahawk advertises it. No room service. To order, since the phone in my room did not work, I had to physically go to the restaurant to order dinner. I even had to physically go back to get it. Bowl too small for the amount of food in it. It overflows everywhere. Nespresso coffee maker in the room with only very strong coffee offered. 4 varieties offered, 3 with an intensity of 10. No one at reception from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. This is why I gave 2 stars for my 2 night visit.
Here is what you need to know before going to this hotel: Before the stay: Toll free number seems to always be offline and when you call the local number , you are on hold for at least 30-45 mins ( first time I called , they hung up on me). When you finally get the line ,the staff is not knowledgeable of their own facilities. When asking questions over the phone and on site the answer we kept getting was « I don t know » and no effort to find the answer either. A customer service training would be nice for the staff along with some training on the amenities. During the stay: The staff at the check in and throughout our stay were unfriendly and not inviting. We had booked 2 rooms- in the first room , the sheets of the bed were not changed. When pulling the sheets down, we found numerous body hair in the sheets , we wanted to throw up. The cleaning lady came , didn t apologize and recognized that the girl didn t change the sheets and said « usually this girl is good » . In the second room , we had a half drank sprite bottle in the mini fridge from the previous guests. Also note that the rooms do not offer blow dryers or free room cleaning services during your stay. They will give you new towels but if you want your room to get cleaned , they charge you 35$. They also do not clean the floors of the room. They simply pass a quick vacuum but no mop.The hallways are extremely dark and dusty. When it comes to activities onsite , everything is extra except the beach and a slide in the lake. The kayak, mini golf, rock climbing are all at extra. cost. You can purchase the activity passport but for us it really wasn t worth it. Look at the activities you want to do and see if it s worth it for you. There is no indoor pool and the outdoor pool needs a nice scrub around the borders ( they are all black) so it hasn t been cleaned in a while if ever. The beach is rocky and so is the lake so bring water shoes. The reception area is opened between 7h00am-11h00pm so if you need to come in the hotel outside of these hours you need to call a local number is order for someone to open the door for you. The Noah spa does not allow children under 12 at anytime. At check out no one asked how our stay was and simply took our cards. For a 4 star hotel this is very disappointing.Overall this place is not family friendly and a money grab in our opinion. I do not recommend !
Rooms: Belle, grande, bien insonorisé, bien équipé Nearby activities: Noah spa a même le site Food and drinks: Tomahawk fût un coup de coeur pour le souper !!
The location is beautiful, hotel is very well located. The room is beautiful and modern as long as you dont take a closer look at the small blue sofa, its stains and the shower has rust. The swimming pool and spa are very good. There is not a large swimmable area for my nice beach. We used the kayaks and we had the activity passport. The restaurant was great. The big downside is the difficult service to speak to someone on the phone, I was never able to get through to anyone to book at the pub even after leaving several messages. The reception does not explain the activities and hotel amenities to us. I had to ask several questions and the person seemed irritated. Customer service management should be reviewed.
We enjoyed our stay. Very beautiful area for cycling. We chose the package with chocolate fondue and sparkling wine, unfortunately we did not eat the fruit, because there was hair in it :( for the rest everything was perfect, dinner at the restaurant, buffet lunch, installation, very good service . We recommend the hotel Nearby activities: Beautiful cycle paths nearby
Beautiful new hotel with several facilities including a spa with fabulous wine trail. Resort life really appealed to the children with the inclusion of activities.
Wow. The executive suite is gigantic
We were overall very disappointed with our experience at Hôtel du Domaine. Sadly, the poor customer service reflects the on-site experience. We strongly advise against it.
Excellent service, food, spa, pools, beach . Everything is beautiful and good.
I LOVED it. A high-end room at a low price.
Not long enough!! Not long enough
No sheets or blankets on the sofa bed. Despite several requests to reception and maintenance they cannot give us any, its ridiculous!! No soap to wash with either! Last time we come here!
Beautiful place swimming pool spa beach restaurant
I had the opportunity to go to the estate for a wedding reception including dinner and an evening. The location is magnificent and very well appointed. Quality of service is very good, the staff is very courteous. However, the quality of the food is terrible and very embarrassing for the bride and groom. Appetizer during the arrival cocktail: Chicken nuggets with general tao sauce and egg rolls, we felt like we ate food bought at Costco and baked in the oven. Small starter of 2 small balls of arancini, correct The carrot soup is much too liquid and lacks seasonings. We felt like they added water to be able to have enough. 2 meal choices, mushroom stuffed pasta (my girlfriends choice) and pork chop (me) The stuffed pasta was bathed in a sauce that was far too liquid with no decoration accompanying the dish (not even a parsley leaf....). For the pork plate was dry and no taste. We had to chew and cut small pieces to get enough of them. This was accompanied by 2 cocktail carrots, a piece of cauliflower and a slice of steamed zucchini. Then, to finish the dish, a kind of gratin dauphinois which seemed to have been reheated in the microwave. The presentation was worthy of a meal in a CHSLD. Cocktails during the evening served in plastic glasses (gin, beer, etc.) With too much ice. To conclude, I had the impression of having eaten a meal that I choose for dinner from time to time in my CHSLD cooked by young people with no experience. If I were you, I would start investing in the culinary experience and I would set up a small working group to quickly make changes, because unfortunately it is not representative of the beauty and richness of the place what you want to give as an experience to customers. I would never have accepted such a meal at my wedding.
1-the reservation was made with balcony and view of the lake, during upon arrival the check-in was postponed and then without even a explanation we had a room with a view of the parking lot at 3 lobby door, 2- we were made up a bogus story that an ashtray had escaped into the room and had to be condemned.. (I was not aware that there were still smoking rooms with ashtrays) he had 2 marriages at the same time time we could see very clearly that our room had been given to someone from the wedding. 3- we drove 2 hours to have access to the spa/restaurant and above all a view of the lake (there are plenty of hotels with a view of the parking lot, we wouldnt have chosen Thetford Mines if it wasnt for the view) 4- by calling the reception to find out what the possibilities are due to this last minute change (they explain to us that the room has been upgraded but once again we booked for the view I didnt care about the king bed and the window seeing in the shower...) 5- we are therefore offered a discount of $40 for the fact of no longer having the view of the lake (I repeat but we would not have come to Thetford otherwise so $40 in my mind is not enough) we are therefore offered a 75$ at the tomahawk I ask if possible to give the 40$ and the 75$ to remedy the service received since Arrival it is explained to me that it is one or the other 6- the supervisor (a French accent from France he did not want to identify himself) took the line and explained to me that it was out of his control the fact of not having had the room reserved and that he was only giving $40 discount at check out and didnt give the $75 at the restaurant and rushed to hang up the phone. when I called back the receptionist told me that the supervisor was too busy to pick up the line and didnt want to give his name either and also hung up the line on me In short, I would not recommend such a beautiful hotel with such disappointing service. we were there to enjoy the view, the spa, massages, dinner and lunch at the Tomahawk. a lot of money was spent in your hotel only to be thanked with a room we didnt want and a slap in the face by your staff.
2 spa, a swimming pool, the view is wow, further down the cambric, it has a mini put, kayak and pedal boat rental and an excellent pub, beautiful atmosphere, strawberry daiquiri one of my best, everything is very good :) I recommend it :) plus you have a discount on your room :) Noteworthy details: A large shower in the room for wheelchair users
Very nice large room with balcony and access to temperature for heating. Very quiet for sleeping.
Very nice hotel. Rooms: Junior suite is very spacious.
We loved our stay. The room was great, the restaurant was a bit expensive and the breakfast as well.People were nice. The only thing was that we got checked in very fast but no information was shared with us as to the facilities, restaurant, pool, jaccuzzi, internet so we ended up exploring on our own Nearby activities: We were close to the Golf&Curling club
What can I say about this hotel? We had made a reservation in a luxurious room. We arrived a little early, and we were told If you want your room, you have to pay $40 more. Either. Fortunately we didnt do that, given the state of the household. Dust accumulated on the light fixtures, marks in the toilet, a hairpin on the carpet (Have you vacuumed?). To this you can add an attitude of zero service to ****. Yes, I validate the term at *****. For what ? Be aware that if you go to the Hôtel du Domaine you will deal with condescending people who certainly think they are much better than you. We had a $75 discount at the grill restaurant. On the invoice, we see that there is a deduction of $65.23 and I am told that: Sir, we have taxes in Quebec. Yes, Im French, so obviously Im taken for a tourist and Im looked down upon. But on a discount we have no tax. If I am entitled to -75$ I must read -75$. Extract from Revenu Québec: Is a rebate taxable? A coupon is a receipt, ticket, or other item that has a specified monetary value (e.g., $2 off) or not (e.g., 10% off). It gives the consumer the right to a discount on the purchase price of a specific good or service. Voucher redemptions are not taxable. Of course it will not stop there, and there will be a written formal notice. For future vacationers, choose this hotel at your own risk. But if you can choose another one, your money will surely be put to better use.
Superb, very quiet location with a pleasant view of the lake and the forest in the background. Building and rooms in good condition as the construction is only a few years old. Spacious, well-organized suite with magical balcony. Nice to have a complimentary bottle of wine in the room (red or white) with a nice list of activities and discounts included such as mini-golf, climbing, mountain biking. Gym ok with what you need for a good workout. Its a shame that the hotel bar is closed during the week and only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, but with good entertainment it must be said. Too bad to reserve a specific time for breakfast and evening meal especially when the hotel is half empty. Unprofessional reception staff and not much motivation to help or show great flexibility.
I went there for a conference and the food was more ordinary. not worthy of a 4 star Food and drinks: very average
Large complex with lots of activities to do, you wont be bored! Swimming pool, climbing, mini golf, billiards... the setting is also very beautiful because it is right on the edge of Thetford. We feel very comfortable there. A bottle is even offered in the room. Nothing to complain about, well done.
I went there for a conference and I can tell you that the worst thing is the attitude of the staff, they are clearly not people trained in hospitality, they are downright disrespectful! Really mediocre, I dont recommend it. Rooms: Basic
We were in this lovely hotel for several days! We have a room with a lake view, it s very relaxing. The rooms are beautiful, well insulated and comfortable. Very warm welcome upon our arrival. Very nice Jacuzzi and swimming pool, nice view! We had a good stay. The points to improve which means that I do not give 5 stars. You have to pay extra to have a complete cleaning of the room (change of towels, making the bed, and cleaning the floors). What is included, the housekeepers come into the rooms to put away the bath towels (change them if they are wet) but thats it. So if you have dirty the mirror for example, it remains dirty . This is the first time Ive stayed in a hotel where you have to pay for cleaning, making the bed, etc. If you want a bathrobe you also have to pay. We ate very well at the restaurant, the breakfast was also ok but it was very cold. All the customers came with extra layers of sweaters or jackets. It is unpleasant to eat in a room that is too air-conditioned, especially useless at the end of September when the temperatures in the morning and evening are approx. 15 degrees outside. We asked and so did other customers around us, but the waiters didnt know how to change or really wanted to take the time to do what was necessary. We are very happy just a few small changes in our opinion and it will be perfect! We had a pleasant stay!
Very nice hotel with integrated SPA center. I give 4 stars for the restaurant, a little expensive for the content.
Checker.
Im only going to Balmoral 2.0
Remote, peaceful, beautiful location, superb rooms, very good breakfast! Eyes closed
Great. A place where the cuisine is excellent. The prices are reasonable. A 5 star place. New from 2016.
Wonderful ! If youre looking to disconnect from the stress of the week, this is the perfect place. We were there at the end of October, customer service very good, requests were made in advance, the room is incredible.
Broken silicone chair in black shower Nespresso box 4 choices in the lid but just 3 capsules television the signal often cuts Noteworthy details: Funny place chalet To go to the bar you have to go outside the main building
Service 0/10 I dont like the service
We spent a lovely evening at the hotel restaurant listening to the singer and eating the tomahawk which was very good. On the other hand, big downside, there was a party of employees of a company, so the night was almost non-existent, we were woken up at hours. Knowing that me and my partner were there to sleep and rest, a short night away from a 2 and a half year old child...so knowing that, and the price of this hotel, it was a big fail. As I explained to the hostess, it would have been normal to notify us when we made our reservation or as soon as they knew there was a party. Seriously, I would never have thought that a luxurious hotel of this style would attract party people. Its ordinary. I imagine that there may not be many other places in Thetford to celebrate...but I wont go back there to rest and sleep well, for that I will go elsewhere
For an office party, a family stay, whatever, this fabulous site will please you! Its restaurant is excellent, the hotel offers the best value for money, and a host of activities are possible in summer and winter. I recommend to everyone, super friendly staff! Nearby activities: Lake, spa, restaurants, chalet, climbing, kayaking, cycling, snowshoeing, swimming
The only 2 disappointments are that in a $500 package for 2 nights, breakfasts should be included as well as dressing gowns. When you have access to the hotel baths AND the Noah spa in your package. The least we could do would be to have dressing gowns included. $10 per dressing gown for a few things that is included. Its pushing hard on the pencils a bit. Otherwise our room was nice and clean. Maybe think about getting the shower head a little higher. I said 5et8 my cjt 5et10. The shower head at its maximum height reached my shoulders. It was great for washing your head.... Are all very nice place.
Very nice room, very clean, large and comfortable. The reception staff are very nice. Quiet and relaxing location.
A perfect place for a quiet getaway. The rooms are spacious and very clean.
Very nice hotel, clean spacious rooms, well equipped... you feel comfortable. Very good, varied Sunday brunch
