We discovered this restaurant while on a trip. We were very interested in an Indian restaurant in that area. We were very surprised as it was very tasty and full of flavor. We tried chicken butter, lamb korma, every sides of vegetables. The eggplants side was the very best. The pakoras and samosas were very good, but I would’ve gotten more sauce to it. The appetizer size was too small. There was only one waiter and he was running in every direction. Very sympathetic and nice. We had to remind him a few times for little things we needed, but the service was good! It takes place in an old house with cute and simple decorations. Overall, not the best Indian restaurant I had the chance to try. But in this area, this restaurant is a gem and a must try! We totally recommend this place.

When youre there it looks like the decor is frozen in the 70s, which makes it unique. My son and son-in-law swear by this restaurant which offers truly typical Indian dishes.

You have to try the Kerala chicken curry made with coconut milk and coriander, turmeric, turmeric, and ginger. Lots of flavor and not too spicy...A delight in the mouth. Vegetarian options: Tofu pizza for lunch only. Evening, pad Thai with tofu. All the vegetables...

We had a great time with a good meal. For having eaten Indian elsewhere, La Fredaine offers an interesting table d hôte at a very reasonable price for two people. A detour that is worth the pleasure during a visit to Thetford Mines.

Excellent food full of exotic flavor. Every grain of rice is delicious and thats an understatement compared to the foods that accompany it. The price is consistent with the food served. The service is provided with lots of explanations about the menu and everything is served with a remarkable smile.

15 pieces for 6 pieces of lamb with a little sauce without any accompaniment 15 pieces for 8 shrimps without any taste and no accompaniment even no sauce!!! Im in serious shock, it doesnt matter if you dont have to pay, but here its not worth it, I dont recommend it to the real Indian lover!!!

Excellent seasoning, very tasty, but not very generous quantity for the price... $22 for a plate that leaves you hungry if you dont take an extra Naan bread with it. Also not an exceptional presentation. Ex: 3 carrot sticks with 3 small florets of coriander... But impeccable service from a lady at the reception and very courteous service.
