First of all, at 10:00 a.m., the restaurant was not crowded. Despite everything, we waited 11 minutes before we were offered something to drink, then more than 5 minutes before having our first coffee. Then another long period before we took our order and another long time before receiving the meal. This seemed the case to other tables who arrived before us. No coffee stove while waiting. 50 minutes between our arrival and the arrival of our meal. The air conditioning cooled our meal, not so good for the sauce on the eggs benedict. We will not return or recommend this restaurant located on rue Notre-Dame in Thetford. because the service is rotten. This is the first time I introduced B&F to my brother. It was a bad experience for him.

After an hour of waiting for our plates we left empty-handed because my partner is a truck driver and his dinner hour was over. Yet very few people and the employees are just chatting.

Lunch recently on this Monday at the beginning of the year and I must say that the food was okay but the music was much too loud and not even. Difficult to talk between family when the music is so loud near the kitchen

Not a pleasant service, cold meal and three-cooked eggs, cold and elastic pancakes in addition to an interminable wait and a really indifferent waitress who is quick to take her tip after terrible service. This is the first time in my life that I have rated an establishment less than 4 out of 5! What a disappointment such a restaurant experience!!! With a Ben and Florentine banner, I would be ashamed to serve a meal more shabby than the one at the hospital next door.

I was well served and the lunch was great

I went to eat this morning with a friend, we took our order and so far so good. The waitress takes the order for two tables who arrive AFTER us. The two tables that passed by ordered after us received their meal while we did not at all. Both tables eat and leave before we even have ordered before receiving our meal. After an hour of waiting we asked the waitress if our meal was going to arrive soon, she just replied stupidly well I don t know it s not me who manages the kitchen here! I didnt have time to say anything when she left. When the plates finally arrive they are almost lying on the table. She never came to see us to ask if we needed anything. And it took a good 30 minutes before we got our receipt, which we had asked for... never again, ironically, which is rather a shame, but it was the straw that broke the camels back.

Beautiful, clean, my lunch was very good, the eggs just cooked just the way I like them, because Im picky.

I love going to eat at Ben & Florentine. It s very recent for me being new to the region. I now go there every week but only when the manager is there because he makes magnificent dishes for me, plus he takes the time to go around to make sure the customers are satisfied and the service is excellent.

we were told we have no more strawberries, avocado, the lunch menu forget that they had nothing left really disappointing to have the waitress say that when entering the restaurant we even heard the waitress say other customers to eat elsewhere

Ive been to the Ben&Florentine in Thetford at least 4 times in the last 3 months and each time is more disappointing than the last. The quality of service and food is definitely lower than other Ben&Florentines I have visited. - The wait for a table is endless, because they dont take any reservations. Reservations should be required for large groups (6+) even if it means requiring a deposit. Maybe the kitchen would be better able to handle the traffic that way. - The floor is so greasy and dirty that we practically have to skate to our table. Even chairs slide when you sit down. - The tables are rarely cleaned well and essential utensils are often missing (knives, practically necessary with every meal), which we have to ask again from the waitresses who sometimes completely ignore us, because they are overwhelmed. - The hygiene of some employees really leaves something to be desired. This leaves us doubting the hygiene of the kitchens - The food arrives cold at the table. The potatoes are so soft that they look like they were fried a few days before then reheated a little before serving them to you. - I had the misfortune of trying their gluten-free bread. It had a powdery texture and a very sweet taste. I ate one bite and didnt eat the rest. I mentioned to the waitress that it was probably expired, to which she replied that a lot of customers dont like it and mention it to them (!!), but thats impossible because they change it every 4 days...I highly doubt it, because the menu was missing items that are easily found at the grocery store that day (ex. cottage cheese) and if customers dont like it, I dont understand why They insist on buying more and making us pay for this bread that no one likes (because yes, even if I didnt eat the bread, they still charged me for it)... The lack of management is glaring - especially on weekends. When we see that the restaurant is full every weekend, it s really because we have very few choices for brunch in Thetford. This restaurant harms the name of Ben&Florentine.

I love eating here, always well served and very fast service. Meaning forgotten... the main thing the meal that we order is always delicious and generous portions are served. Its a great start to the day, I recommend it. Angela Lachance

The food is good, the welcome is perfect but our waitress made us feel like crap, she literally threw our plates at us, didnt come back to offer us coffee and brought the bill, waited for us to pay . A relaxed Sunday morning lunch in just 1/2 hour. Very unfortunate experience. We found our location very noisy. They make smoothies in a blender with ice cubes every 5 minutes, the noise is hellish. We cant hear each other talk.

I ordered salmon eggs benedict with caramelized onions. We replace the caramelized onions with large pieces of red onion without confirming with me if it is suitable. I return the plate while placing another order. This time they brought me eggs benedict with bacon instead of the ham requested. In addition, they explain to me that this is due to staff.... The lack of staff is a bit annoying in my opinion.

Generally correct but nothing more. Every time I go there, there is always something that goes wrong. This time, make a choice, but no longer have any goat cheese. So made another choice, but my plate arrived but really not as the presentation suggested. There was almost no on my bread and no dressing at all. The waitress who tells me they have more. So quite dry. Waitress with zero smile, please and thank you , no service (no water refill, never had my coffee), some very dirty utensils. Parcontre received our plates quite quickly. Very interesting childrens menu, very very good small potatoes and various fresh fruits as an accompaniment . Overall the meals were good. I was served a waffle that had been prepared for several days... grainy, completely dry and unmanageable. We were served the wrong order twice in a row. The third time (the good one), it arrived cold. The waitress even insisted on putting the tip percentage on the bill herself, which I had to refuse. I felt very bad. Very bad service and very bad food. We must have been unlucky...

Passing through the region and were very well served despite the reduced staff. A1 food as usual in this chain of restaurants!

The waitresses do a good job, but the kitchen deserves a refresh. You are a lunch restaurant, I expect a certain expertise from your cooks. Yes the restaurant is clean and beautiful, but the cook/manager should have new training... Yes, I am a regular customer and I will continue to come to your restaurant, but please take my message into account. Cold food shouldnt be a problem IMHO. Lunch was very good! On the other hand, disappointment because some employees did not wear the mask or wore it incorrectly....

On arrival I showed my passport. No need to show my ID or disinfect my hands. My mask under my nose didnt bother me, fortunately. No register to sign. Didnt scan my passport. Very good lunch. The coffee was very mild. No condiments on the table so hygienic. Extra cheese loaded, but not melted. I finished my first coffee and never had a refill or a visit from the waitress. After filling my plate with my napkin, she came over to ask if I was finished. I would have liked to have had one last coffee but 27 minutes after my meal it was a bit long....Despite this I was treated to a little smile when I arrived! Clean toilets except dusty floor. Well marked accessible places during the pandemic. Service received by Kathy on this Thursday am. Many staff did not wear masks.

The eggs Benedict are excellent, they are equivalent to a Cora.. Linda the best waitress... But today I got news, she did her best. Unlimited coffee... excellent. Also, you need a hostess at the door to scan the passports and above all ask for an ID because there are fake passports going around. 2 waitresses are not enough to do everything. The hostess must help serve the coffee and clean the tables. This is if we want to keep our 5 stars. I trust this restaurant, the manager does his best..
