A must if you pass through Thetford Mines!! This is our first time here and we were more than satisfied. Everything was perfect, from the moment of reception to the exit. We ate seafood pizza (best ever), sausages wrapped in dough, cheese sticks and poutine with Jack Daniel s sauce. Everything is homemade. We recommend it without hesitation!!

I went to eat Saturday evening with my partner and my mother. I was happy to eat my good shrimp PadTaïe. When I arrive I notice that the menu has changed (a simple sheet on a wooden board and a clip). Not much choice but my PadTaïe is there. When my plate arrives, I am disappointed to see that it is not the plate I expected. Well I taste and I notice that the rice vermicel is replaced by rice and that the vegetables are almost all the same as a kind of turnip in the shape of a fry which is difficult to chew. In total only 8 shrimps which are overcooked, not edible! No nuts, no large breaded shrimp, no small corn, in short, having known that this was the plate I would have, I would not have ordered it. I left the restaurant and it was as if I hadnt eaten, I was still hungry whereas before I had trouble finishing my plate. I shared my comments with the owner and he didnt seem receptive to my comments, so I decided to post them here. For my part, its over, I wont return to this restaurant again. Not enough choice on the menu. Too bad because I liked this place before it changed administration.

Poutine with flank steaks, you have to try it! Its really good, I also tried the snails with garlic gratin and the portion was very generous. I loved!

Menu, reduced by half.. The glass roof is superb but the bar customers bury the glass roof.. On the other hand, very good service.. Food quality leaves something to be desired.. Need a good chef and not an amateur.

Flies everywhere, average service, very ordinary food and exorbitant price considering the culinary quality.....

I think we really missed it... A fairly busy Thursday lunchtime, with only one waitress... We waited, a lot. Cant wait for their cheese curds which allowed us to survive the wait. On several meals, it was the burgers that were appreciated. The others (pizza and poutine) were not to our taste unfortunately. The service was friendly nonetheless.

La Bourgade has evolved a lot since its beginnings... The dining room has become much larger and more beautiful than in the early years. A good quality Homemade cheese. A dining room worthy of the name. Well located on the riverside. For lovers of good cheese, it is a must in the region (there is also a second branch on route 112)

After 2 years without having been there (bad experience)...still just as disappointed and more. If you dont eat a simple poutine, which by the way is excellent, avoid going to this restaurant. Dont let yourself be tempted by anything else, a little advice.

Very good places to eat, however its a bit expensive. They have a sublime Irish cheddar beer. Every time I go to the region I stop there and stock up on a good supply of this excellent cheese. They have the best beer cheddar.

As I am a regular at La Bourgade... I must say that I left feeling disappointed because what I ate was tasteless. This is no longer the restaurant I used to be around. The menu is less elaborate. Always good service!

When Im in the area, I always stop at the counter to buy different cheeses made by the Bourgade cheese factory, such as curd or brick cheese, cheddar, parmesan, pepper, garlic and fine herbs, twists, etc. I also stock up on spaghetti sauce, dry sausage with cheese curds, terrines. During sugaring season, it is possible to buy maple taffy, maple butter and maple-filled chocolates A real delight!!

Sunday May 13: We waited almost 1 hour before receiving our plates, the waitress came twice to tell us that there were no more cheeses requested and there was some problem making the pizza. The atmosphere is pleasant and the waitress very nice but did not know the cheeses on the menu. Very disappointing because we are in a cheese factory :(

Wow! Best nachos! The cheese is excellent. The nachos are really garnished. The whole thing makes a really tasty meal. The service was very good (reception and service) not too fast nor too slow. We will come back for sure.

Good pub restaurant paired with artisanal cheese shop! Recommended! The fresh cheese of the day is one of the best firm, unripened cheeses in Quebec!
