Very nice restaurant, welcoming and friendly staff. As a starter, Thai soup and imperial roll, both were super good. Main dishes: my partner took a general tao, the portion was generous in rice and vegetables but really not enough pieces of chicken and the pieces lacked flavor. For my part, strawberry and avocado salmon tartare: the tartare was really bland, it looked like there was zero seasoning and the pieces of avocado were often too big and took up too much space. In short, given all the good comments I might give the restaurant another chance, maybe the chef just had a bad evening...

First visit to this charming restaurant, we were there for lunch, delicious and hearty sushi, lots of taste, Im rediscovering good sushi, which, unfortunately, has been commercialized and stripped of taste. I chose a Thai soup as a starter, man a wonton soup again here delicious and full of flavors. The service excellent. A big thank you also to itamae for discovering all these flavors. A 10/10. We will return.

I drive 2 hours round trip just to get my sushi to this place! My partner and I discovered it when we lived in Thetford, and now that we are near Quebec City we travel simply to go eat their sushi! The recipes are incredible, the quality of the fish, the service! I have nothing to say ! In more than 20 orders I have never been disappointed! And Im a sushi lover and former sushigirl! I recommend it without problem!

Generosity on the plates and prices that make sense with the quality of the dishes served. I had the raspberry mojito and IT WAS GOOD! Attentive and dynamic service with a warm welcome! The atmosphere of the restaurant is well balanced, we could talk and hear each other well, the music was not too loud! Lovely restaurant evening we had at your place!

We were visiting Thetford Mines. I ordered sushi to take out. The taste was very good however, the sushi fell apart because they were not rolled tightly enough. The sushi was smaller than shown on the website.

Extremely long time, the plates waiting for around twenty minutes on the counter before being served.. the fish and chips so insulting to receive a single piece of fish and a packet of undercooked frozen fries..

As sushi lovers, we loved the plate to share for two. Really good sushi with lots of varieties and tastes. Quality products and very good service!

More than 1 hour wait for disappointing food. The waitress was friendly but alone at the service. We went to the mcdo afterwards to tell you... however the comments are good... you have been warned.

The sushi is excellent, my partner had the salmon tartare and we had the table d hôte. The quality was there, but the price is a little above what I usually pay in the same type of restaurant.

Excellent menu, great atmosphere. We see the sushimen from the dining room. Dont be fooled by the appearance of the neighborhood of houses that surround it.

Poor service, we only heard 30 minutes before being placed at a table we had reserved. Plus, it took at least 40 minutes before a waitress came to take our order and bring us water.

First experience at Rouge Poisson. Weve been there for 40 minutes and still havent had a glass of water. We wonder if it is possible to eat this evening.... there seems to be only one employee serving. Since our arrival we have not seen any dishes come out of the kitchen....we will still give the chance to the only cook and the only waitress who fortunately called another waitress to come and help.

Super nice place, beautiful cozy house and beautiful atmosphere! Dedicated staff for their customers, La fringale pour 2 plate = excellent dish!! The salmon tartare as a starter, doesnt taste much (seasonings), except that the ingredients are really fresh and they taste like what they should taste like (salmon, cucumber and avocado). The sushi is good, but not all tasty, so its not a favorite in this area. The sushi dessert is very good though!

Really disappointed with this restaurant, the reviews on google are good, but we didnt have that experience. 20 minutes before being answered for a drink and another 20 minutes before ordering. Another 20 minutes before receiving our starter, so we waited 1 hour. Our table was right in the middle of the restaurant and the waitress ignored us as she walked past us. The lobster tartare tasted like thawed lobster and the sushi had way too much rice. The worst was that at 8:40 p.m. they stopped the music in the restaurant and the employees were smoking cigarettes with the door open so the smell entered the restaurant. We paid our bill smelling of cigarettes and feeling uncomfortable with the waitress, as she realized the poor service we received.

Excellent no matter what you eat there. The people who work there are very courteous.

I was there before the pandemic but I didnt have time to post a comment... I was there with what must have been a possible partner... she didnt seem at all to appreciate her time with nor my compliments but this unpleasant experience was quickly forgotten thanks to the good meal I had...I would like to return there one day but it is very far from home.. 6 hours drive.

Basically, if you like small defrosted shrimp, you will find what you are looking for with the sushi at this restaurant. We tried this place for a second time by selecting the share for two sushi and we were treated to 33 out of 34 sushi/gunkans/sashimi/other based on these defrosted shrimp... The little fancy mayonaises do not unfortunately cannot hide this detail. For cocktail shrimp lovers its good, but for someone who likes fresh salmon/tuna, or real sushi, choose another place... Really disappointed.

The dishes are good. The atmosphere seems pleasant on the ground floor but we were placed on the first floor in the decor of a decrepit community hall. No music, Christmas lights as decoration... and the toilet in questionable condition. Finally, the choice of alcohol is disappointing. Unfortunately it was the last time we went there...

Personally, its my favorite restaurant. I have to restrain myself from eating it several times a week. Everything on the menu is excellent, it makes choosing difficult but it gives an excuse to go there often ;). Take out or on site, its always to my taste. Maxime is a real gem! A big crush for me.

A great discovery, Red Fish. The menu is very varied and everything really looks good. I have never eaten something so fresh and tasty. I take my hat off to the sushi chefs...real machines...you do an extraordinary job. The service is also excellent and the cocktails delicious. I promise Ill be back.

Vaut définitivement le déplacement de Québec pour ce plat incroyable. Lambiance et le style sont des plus apprécié. Suffisamment incroyable que Yuzu est rayé de la carte à mes yeux. Les sushis sont dune qualité professionnelle, les prix bas, les dimensions et la diversité de ceux-ci sont tout simplement époustouflant. Jy retournerai tout les mois garantit.

Very good restaurant for sushi. I must say that the quality surprised me a lot. The chef is truly qualified. What a wicked discovery. However, the quality of service received was disappointing. The server/owner prioritized his cell phone over the customer present. This aspect is very disappointing.
