We have been ordering from Kris from Cake it for years and will keep coming back! What started with our love for the sufganiyot ( waiting for the banana dulce du leche) to now having their cakes as part of our family celebrations! The support they offer the customers and community is unmet, and their attention to quality, service and presentation is like no other!
Wow! Just had the crepes at Cake It! So delicious! Also, I love their apple cinnamon turnovers, burekas and croissants. Their coffee is excellent. Everything is great here.
I have waited for a café that was ambient and relaxing. I am so glad that I discovered this place when it opened. Their desserts and drinks are heavenly, especially their strawberry latte (hot and cold), which is now my personal favorite thing to order from their menu. I hope this place stays here because I want all my friends and colleagues to know about this. They deserve their place on the map.
This is a desert spot located in the promenade mall . The owner and staff are super friendly with quick services. We ordered: 1, Ferrero bomb 4/5 2. Strawberry Macaroon 5/5 3. Oreo sushi’s 4/5 4. Latte 5/5 The quality overall is very good, it’s just a little bit overly sweet for me, but kids love it . They also have 3 tables so we can enjoy desserts there.

Cake it Toronto is located in Thornhill, ON is a lovely 😊 place to be. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city 🏙️ in spite of being in the city 🌃. There’s an ample parking 🅿️ space around the building. The place has the nice indoor seating arrangements and the seating arrangement is super comfortable. The staff is really nice, friendly and kept following 🆙. Pricing is decent, good value for money and the place is more suitable for a group of people.
Absolutely incredible products!!! I tried 4 different desserts and the chocolate sushi (which is the best thing that was ever created by man). I really cannot choose a favorite. I don't know how to describe it or how I can possibly choose a favorite! Here sweetness comes on a whole other level ... and don't get me started on the coffee! I didn't know heaven has coffee beans!!! The coffee tasted like nothing I've ever had in North America. If I could, I would give 1,000 stars!
Good quality coffee. Amazing looking cakes and pastries. Their croissant and potato bureka was good too. They have a few seats in front; not the most comfy. They added a seating area. They also added a freshly squeezed orange juice machine. Also their cakes, desserts, and pastries, keep looking better and better. The staff are very friendly. They also take pre-orders of fancy Sufganiyah for Chanukah! 😋
This tiny cafe is a hidden gem in a dying mall. However, it is a must try if you are visiting Promenade Mall. Their baked goods and cheesecake were fresh and flavorful. The latte was above average. The owner was very attentive and ensured we were well taken care of.
Ordered a cheesecake, pistachio mousse cake and the Dubai chocolate bar, which is the main reason I went to go check out the place. Cheesecake was amazing, mousse cake was ok, but the Dubai chocolate was AWFUL. It had cracks on the outer layer. Very dry inside and barely any pistachio paste. Nothing like the original. Anyone looking for Dubai chocolate try Crown pastries in Vaughan. Please don t sell the Dubai chocolates if it s going to be made so poorly .

Amazing! We ate cheese, chocolate and Oreo cakes and they were all great! And the coffee - wow! The best weve had so far. Not to mention the excellent service. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic new addition to the neighbourhood! Super-friendly service. Unique cakes and pastry offerings. Delicious crepes made custom to order are a superb value - and they offer to slice it into bite-size strips for you to enjoy effortlessly. Coffee (I usually order an Americano but there are a dozen options) tastes really good. Very unique pastries you won t find anywhere else. The personal-sized berry cheesecake is ultra light and fluffy with a perfect light crumble on top. The pastry designs are imaginative- one is a mousse cake shaped like a teddy bear, that stands up! I have heard only good things from others about their other offerings. It s great to now have two such classy bakeries (the other is named after an Austrian composer) within walking distance of my home! If I had to give it a critique I d say some of the pastries are a tad on the sweet side for my taste. Others may find the sweetness level okay. Anyhow, they are passionate about what they do. And everything is baked on site which itself is an achievement! Bravo!

Coffee was good but, unusually they charge for milk.
I wanted to get a cake for a special occasion we were in the middle of a conversation then I had asked for a quote and no response. After a few follow ups and still no response. I had given up. It s not professional to leave someone hanging in my opinion. When you are planning an event for a special occasion it can be stressful. No need to add to the stress.

Youngster who made the Americano with lactose free milk did everything wrong. I asked her to leave space for the milk. She brought it to the counter and it was full of black coffee to the brim. Then, holding the milk in her hand, she looked at me seriously and asked me how much milk I want. Looking at her like she was crazy I told her she will obviosly have to pour out some coffee to make room for the milk. She took it away and poured some out and added some milk and put the lid on it. When I got to the car I tasted it and it was basically a black coffee. With 2 percent you have to make more room. Obviously not trained on how to make a coffee with milk...lol

Everything is so good at Cake It! Maia convinced me to get the Ferrero bomb it was a 5/5. Theres a cute little seating area in front of the cafe to go with your family and friends.
Delicious! The Nutella mousse cake it amazing, such a crowd pleaser. It come with a mini Nutella jar so adorable! Maia was so kind and guided me through all the selections, there s so much to chose from! The owners are so welcoming and know how to make your experience at Cake It wholesome. I visited Cake it Toronto a few days ago. The place looked busy, there were a few customers choosing cakes and savoury pastries. I ordered a Belgian coffee, a desert in itself. The barista Maia mentioned that a croissant would pair nicely. So I added a lemon and lotus croissant to my order, the taste and texture were exquisite. Maia is knowledgeable and can describe in detail the products that they sell. I took a seat at a table and enjoyed the atmosphere. I noticed how efficient and amiable Maia was serving the customers. I felt pampered. Best coffee store in town! Visit the store, see for yourself and enjoy!
We were at Cake it Toronto at Promenade Mall last Sunday, to buy a cake for a birthday. It was hard to choose, those cakes really look good and delicious. We chose a Ferrero rocher cake, the barista Maia helped us choose it and packed it nicely for us. We also ordered coffee, their capuccino was awesome. I ordered my sisters 18th birthday cake and Cake It was amazing in handling the order. The owners were super sweet which made communication between us so easy. It really shows how much passion and effort they put into making each cake. Overall, I had a great experience with Cake It and it will definitely be my go to for purchasing cakes.

we entered the mall near the cake shop and were greeted with the kindest welcome. My grandson and I had the most delightful after-school treats. they are creative and delicious and we have returned several times since then.

This place is amazing. The employees are ALWAYS kind and polite. Like they have never had a bad day! The counter and display is ALWAYS clean, neat, and orderly.
