Our 30 guests loved Biryani + butter chicken + aloo gobi from Biru and staff THANKS. (2021)My go to for take out lunch or dinner. PORTIONS dishes are generous. I order one dish per person is lots. IF two people I will order 3 dish for variety and ensure leftover. GARLIC naan!! Owner Biru is willing make thoughtful suggests based on foods you like. VERY REASONABLE PRICES

Excellent food and efficient service. Very generous portion size. Abhas was very prompt and made sure that we were well looked after. Our guests who were visiting us from USA were also very happy with the delicious food and service. We are happy that we found this restaurant and definitely visit again and also recommend to our friends and family.

The goat curry/ lamb curry is not authentic. It is chewy. Not cooked well. The gravy and goat is cooked separately. The meat is not tender. Please avoid. Their dal makhani is alright. Hence gave 2 stars.

I ordered veg pakora and they have served them as vegetable balls and veg fried rice is burnt and no taste. waste of money

We love Indian food and this is one of the best Indian restaurants we have tried in Toronto. We are vegan and there are plenty of vegan options. The ingredients are very fresh. A hidden gem in Toronto.

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times and I have always been impressed with the quality of their food and their service. Today, I ordered Okra Masala with rice and garlic bread. Delicious! Also free papadam while I was waiting for the main course. I always order a vegetable biryani to take out, which provides 2-3 lunches during the week.

I am a strict vegetarian . I ordered chilli paneer and instead got chicken chilli. I knew immediately it was chicken as we had invited guests that eat both veg and non veg. They told us to stop eating immediately as they recognized the meat. By that time my 81 year old mother had eaten a piece of chicken and her mental anguish caused her to throw up all night. Its a small restaurant but tha is to customers benefit. You get tge service right away. Do not have to wait for it. Owner is very courteous n accommodating. Food price is average. Taste of food is quite good. Not too much selections. 4 meat n 4 vegetarian dishes. Only one type each pakoras for appetizers. We go there as we like the taste of food n do not want too many selections. Recommend this for taste, quality n service. Their naans n rotis are great also.

Tried Samosa chaat, papdi chaat, paneer dhaniya adraki and paneer butter masala. Appetizers were okay, no comments for paneer dhaniya adraki but what you guys have done to paneer butter masala? Felt like paneer cubes in a tomato soup with garam masala. This is NOT Indian cuisine, guys!!!

The food was normal and average

This place has always been our favorite all-you-can-eat Indian restaurant in Toronto. The food is very good!!!!!! The place is cozy and very accessible. They also have a very friendly waiter with the best service. I wouldnt want to look for any other Indian restaurant when I come to Toronto. Indian Cuisine will always be my favorite.

Wonderful food and superb service

For $19.99 you get the best indian buffet. Ive always loved indian cuisine and have been to a number of other AYCE restaurants. This one here no doubt beats the experience. Food quality excellent service cleanliness . Buffet feels very exclusive and I believe this place is a hidden gem, a diamond in the rough. Looking forward to going there again on my 9th time in the year! Service was phenomenal, they only have one server i believe (or maybe just for the buffet periods hence I see him always). Very helpful, informative. You need to experience this for yourself.

My friends and I ate here last night for the first time, prompted by the strong reviews. It was excellent. The owner/server (Biru) is a very pleasant, friendly and welcoming man. He discussed food options with us and recommended some dishes based on our desires. All the food tasted wonderful, with lovely aromatic smells & great portions. The food was not served immediately, which told us it was cooked to order and therefore served hot and fresh; we appreciated this. Will definitely return. Returned this Sunday. Excellent food and staff so helpful and friendly. One of our party has a nut allergy so he was unsure what he could safely eat. The lady in charge discussed options with him, and he was very pleased to be able to eat here. Told me his meal was delicious. We had a Birthday cake too, and they cut it for us. Such nice people; well be back!

Just visited this restaurant and had the pleasure of being served by Veeru Awesome service by Veeru and it s from the heart. The food is amazing I had the Lamb Vindaloo I asked for a spice level of 7-8 and that s exactly what I got most places either give it too bland or way too spicy mine was just right. I also had 2 Tandoor roti that were excellent not too hard or burnt. Hats off to the chef! I had mentioned that Raitha(yogurt) would be a nice accompaniment with the dish and Veeru gave me a small order on the house. This place is fantastic and a family run business give them a try you won t be disappointed.

There s a lot of new Indian restaurants in this area but by far Indian cuisine is the best. Amazing quality, amazing service. If you re craving butter chicken, get it from here, it really hits the spot! I asked for not spicy and the mild option was perfect for me. Will be visiting here often

I love the taste of all the dish they make

My son got sick from eating the goat curry yesterday. I ve avoided this place for years as there are better options within driving distance, but my wife/son decided to go there. They brought the leftovers home and I threw it out after he got sick and it did smell off. I tend to avoid Indian restaurants that have a buffet even though they ordered off the menu. I ve had authentic goat curry from Brampton and this had no resemblance to that level.

Been here twice for dinner. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is descent but the food... the food is exceptional. I have so far tried the shahi paneer, lamb curry, chicken Tikka massala and a few other dishes and all were amazing. I feel like if you could close your eyes and picked from the menu , whatever you get will be good. Id say its the best Indian restaurant I have tried so far in Canada, highly recommend.

This has never happen to me!! I ordered a couple days ago, 2 items a chicken biryani and daal tadka. I ordered thru delivery app and I didn t receive my chicken biryani but a veg biryani instead in my order!! I could have took my money back from the delivery app and let it go but i like food so i chose to call this guys and request to get it fixed. They came all the way to my door step to deliver the biryani around 10pm after store closes, i mean it was something above and beyond then just making/delivering food. I really appreciate, Thankyou! Everything Ive ordered was terrible. Threw it all in the garbage. These people are no cooks. The butter chicken sauce was plain tomatoe sauce ,watery. The chicken tikka had a horrible taste.the rice was from hell,stinky. And the naan tased like sawdust. Save your money and your health! Dont eat this garbage.

We stumbled upon this really amazing authentic Indian restaurant. Besides the amazing, attentive service from the owner. He was so accommodating and thoughtful. The food was perfect. Highly recommend coming here if you want to try some authentic Indian cuisine. We will definitely coming back here.

The Best Tikka Masala ever Hands down....:))

Location: Very Good, walking distance from my place. Food: we ordered Dal Makhani and Garlic naan, I must admit that very few places in Canada (except in Brampton) would serve you actual garlic naans/breads and this is one of them. I liked them. Most restaurants offer those frozen garlic naans which taste like Kulchas. Daal was good too. I have had better though ;) Owner: Very friendly. We had a great chat after our dinner.

I am an Indian myself and this food is nowhere near to the Indian taste.

My husband and I ordered the chicken tikka, karahi paneer and laccha paratha last night. The food was outstanding! Definitely the best Indian food I ve eaten in a long time. Going to make this our new regular now. Affordable too!

The butter chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce was seasoned with bold flavors. The butter chicken was well done and the chicken was not overcooked. The biryani chicken was a bit dry but the spices saved it with great flavor combinations. The dryness of the chicken biryani is what I would say needs improvement. The service was quick and the food was packaged well which kept the food very warm. Overall a good experience so thank you and keep going.

The recipes are well prepared with utmost care, giving mind-blowing taste and enough quantity for foody people like me who wants both tasty food in bulk quantity with reasonable price. The food came hot, the bread was good, but its far from Indian cuisine butter chicken tasted like ketchup sauce. I had way better than this, sorry but wont order again.

The chicken was stale and cold and it was not that tasty either. Not to mention the quantity was very low too. Never going to order from here again!!

I tried the prawn vindaloo and it was an instant hit with the family and been going there for more, the quantity is good as well and hot nans with it are just icing on the cake. A must try place.

Just had our second vaccine and celebrated with the chicken platter, vegetable korma and eggplant.... Yum!!! It was soooo good! The portion size is very fair. We were full and we even have leftovers. The staff are always nice to deal with too.

Please don t go to this place I ordered a prawn biryani and the prawn smells bad. When I call the restaurant they claim that I have to eat in an hour since I ate after one and half hour the prawn smells and the restaurant guy is very rude . Food business should keep quality is main things to build up reputation,value and impact of loyal food customers. Its a local family owned Indian restaurant. The Nepalese owner Veeru is really friendly. Try their Samosa Chaat, its the best . They do not have buffet available rn obv due to the pandemic, hopefully they bring it back once everything settles down

The worst chicken biriyani I ever had. Either they do not know how to make biriyani or they mixed sambar gravy to it. It tasted like sambar rice with chicken in it. It is easy to fool people who do not had biriyani before. This is the first time I am trying biriyani from this restaurant. I will never order biriyani from this restaurant.

This place is just amazing. Food is delicious along with service with a smile and a great talk. The owner of The Indian Cuisine is from Nepal and their version of Indian food is from their homeland. All the grilled dished they serve are not comparable to any other place. These people are so nice that they do accommodate some custom requests too. When we visited this place first time, it was very late in the night and they still took our order and also dropped us to our place in their car. Now this is our go to place. We have visited several times and every time the experience was remarkable.

Best indian flavours in thorhill area

We order food for our office every month. This month it was Indian cuisine. Usually it will be $230-250 in the other restaurants for 20 people. But here we were charged $400. There was lots of food for 20 people. Had waste it. And the food was not prepared with care. Too much grease. Expected little bitmore when we were charged $100 more. Visually it looked good but not so much for the taste.

I love their veggie samosas! You get 2 huge ones per order. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is very flavorful and pairs perfectly with their naan. If you call in your order you can customize your spice levels, we found when we asked for things to be spicy that it was perfect. My nose would run but I wouldnt be crying like I do when I try to eat REALLY spicy foods. Good flavors, great customer service. ps. Always call in your order! Skip the dishes or Uber eats takes a share and we need all the proceeds to go to the owners of restaurants if we want them to survive this pandemic.

Fantastic place! I recently purchased food from The Indian Cuisine and asked if they did takeout, they told me they normally did not but they made an exception for me. The food arived hot and fresh with great flavour and in great quanitity. I have already recommended this place to my friends and cant wait for the next occasion to order from here again. Ordered food worth of $150 through Uber Eats: One item was missing from the order, the items were 90% rice and almost no meat. Very bad experience as there is no value for the money I paid. Restaurants keep crying that they are doing bad during Covid-19, but the service and quality they offer for the money charged is disrespectful.

The veggie samosa is great! However... butter chicken tasted like pasta sauce with some chicken it - way too sweet. Would not recommend the butter chicken.

Fantastic food. Best Indian food in the city.

Recently tried this spot and it is now my go-to for Indian food. Fanstastic food with lots of flavor, and IMO, the best indian food in the GTA
