Vietnamese restaurant
Haven’t been to this location in years as I’ve been going to the Marycroft location since it opened Food is fresh, flavourful and they have so many options Top favourites are grilled chicken fresh rolls and grilled chicken vermicelli Staff are friendly and restaurant is kept very clean
Always fresh, always tasty. Been coming here for years. Staff always so friendly. Forever holds a place in my heart.
The place is alright. The pho I had ordered was okay. The broth was fairly okay, and there was plenty of beef in my pho. The main problem I have with the place is that it’s fairly expensive compared to other pho restaurants I’ve been to. It was $16 for the small and $17 for the large. The portion sizes were fair although for the price I wouldn’t expect to come often here. Service was quick and was overall great.
Pho Viet Express truly delivers the meals at an express rate. Staff are ready and proactive, vigilant and approachable. The meals are warm and tasteful. A recommendable restaurant for those in need of authentic Vietnamese fill.
I've been here so many times at this point I've lost count. One thing I've noticed though during every visit is that the food quality is always consistent and the environment is always clean. Been here for Lunch, dinner and even ordered and can easily say haven't been disappointment. I wouldn't say it's the best place I've ever been to for pho but it is high up there. My favorite thing on the menu is the rare beef and chicken pho, grilled pork vermicelli and the fresh shrimp rolls with peanut sauce is a must order!!! The prices have definitely gone up and seems a bit more then it should be but as a comfort food, once in a while treat or something when your feeling sick it is a good choice. There's always a lot of seating available and they do a great job turning tables quick. Staff is average at best but still nice.
As a fervent lover of Vietnamese cuisine, I’ve traversed the culinary landscape in search of the perfect bowl of pho, and my quest led me to the enchanting haven known as Pho Haven. Nestled in the heart of the city, this gem of a restaurant beckoned me with promises of authentic flavors and unparalleled dining experiences. Little did I know, I was about to embark on a gastronomic journey that would tantalize my taste buds and nourish my soul. Upon stepping into Pho Haven, I was immediately enveloped in a warm ambiance that evoked the bustling streets of Hanoi. The aroma of simmering broth and fragrant herbs wafted through the air, heightening my anticipation for the culinary delights that awaited me. The decor, adorned with traditional Vietnamese motifs and elegant lanterns, transported me to a realm where every detail was meticulously crafted to capture the essence of Vietnamese culture. Seated at my table, I perused the extensive menu, which offered an impressive array of pho variations, each more enticing than the last. From the classic Pho Ga (chicken pho) to the indulgent Pho Bo Wagyu (Wagyu beef pho), every option beckoned with promises of savory delights. After much deliberation, I settled on the Pho Dac Biet, a signature combination of thinly sliced beef, tender brisket, and succulent meatballs, served in a rich, aromatic broth infused with spices and herbs. As I awaited the arrival of my steaming bowl of pho, I marveled at the attentiveness of the staff, who exuded genuine warmth and hospitality. Their passion for Vietnamese cuisine shone through in every interaction, from their enthusiastic recommendations to their eagerness to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions. Finally, the moment of truth arrived as my bowl of Pho Dac Biet was placed before me, a masterpiece of culinary craftsmanship that surpassed all expectations. The first sip of the fragrant broth sent waves of comfort coursing through my veins, while the tender noodles and melt-in-your-mouth beef transported me to a realm of pure culinary bliss. Each spoonful was a symphony of flavors, harmonizing perfectly to create a culinary masterpiece that danced on my palate. But the journey didn’t end with the pho; Pho Haven had more delights in store. I couldn’t resist sampling their delectable array of appetizers, from the crispy spring rolls bursting with fresh herbs and vegetables to the succulent grilled pork skewers, perfectly charred and infused with smoky goodness. As I reluctantly bid farewell to Pho Haven, my heart brimmed with gratitude for the unforgettable culinary experience that had unfolded before me. In a world where authenticity is often elusive, Pho Haven stood as a beacon of excellence, a testament to the timeless artistry of Vietnamese cuisine. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or a curious novice, Pho Haven promises a culinary adventure like no other—a journey through the vibrant flavors and rich traditions of Vietnam that will leave you craving more.
I first tried pho two years ago on Uber Eats from another store and I did not like it at all. It took so long for me to give pho another chance and I loved it. The place was amazing, everything, even the Jasmin tea was so delicious😊 service was fast and accurate and will go back there. The prices were fair and portions were also propped.
Service was great. It was very clear. But the food was awful. Every single item that was ordered was bad and tasteless. There is a big variety of food but it was not good. I would never go back. For those who like authentic food, this was definitely not authentic😕
Always Clear and Good quality food. I have one question, is Cilantro optional request?
10/10
Best place to have late night food, good food reasonably priced.
Delish!
Average looking cafeteria like spot, but their pho is outstanding! The service is quick and courteous, we often order the soup to go. They have the option of well done beef brisket and chicken in one, which is what I get. Price is good too.
Friendly, nice people, very clean please.
Awesome food
Over priced and ingredients are not fresh. The meat taste off and the Pho broth is not very good at all.
The best place!! Food is always perfect, huge portions, good prices. Always comes out really fast and service is great. Will keep coming back here over and over again
Nice place for Vietnamese food.
A gem. We love it.
Great portions and consistently yummy food. I love the grilled pork with vermicelli and the well done beef pho. There appetizers are also really delicious!
Great service, great food, great prices. If you re in the area I d highly recommend the Bun Bo Hue.
I had the beef pho and fresh shrimp rolls. They were delicious! Highly recommend this place. It s spacious, clean, and provided great service.
I think its good compared to restaurants Ive tried in Korea. The soup, noodles and seasoning were all good. The workers were quiet and friendly.
We always love coming here. This is the only place Ive seen that has the North Viet style pho with ginger (great for when youre sick). Spicy beef stew is one of my go-to and it never disappoints, tender flavourful beef every single time.
Vegetarian options: You have to stop being vegetarian and try all the dishes Food
Good
Spacious dining area, friendly service, calm and relaxing atmosphere. On top of that the variety of dishes are exceptional as is the quality of the meal we ordered. Definitely coming back!
I ve been a customer for many years but last night I got the worse stomach bug in my entire life. No joke
The rice dishes are amazing! Im not a fan of their pho anymore
305 - good broth (if a little too salty), some of the beef was a bit chewy side note -- the small was a good amount for me, but it seems that you can only order large sizes online for pickup/delivery Food : 4/5
Really good Vietnamese food overall! My friend who is Viet said its pretty authentic and tasty too. They have a huge menu with tons of different options including vegetarian options. I like that you get some hot tea on the table right away. They always have a lot of staff there so you get service quickly and dont have to wait. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pho
Food taste good. They served a lot.
Were regulars there. Weve tried others but theres something about how they serve the food. It feels complete. When u go to other places theres something missing and you have to ask
Very nice.
The best pho in the GTA. If you know, you know. I ve been coming here multiple times a month for many years. Always good, no other pho spot compares, and I ve tried many.
Was good
Went there last night about 40 minutes before closing. There were a few tables with customers. The short stubby Asain lady with thick, drawn eyebrows was giving us attitude from the moment we sat down. We understand that it was almost closing and if they didnt want to seat us that would have been fine. However she kept seating right in front of us, looking at us so that we would rush. They close 11pm, we finished 11pm. The other table across us, also said that the server took away her food, judging that they finished eating without asking, unbelievable. There are other Pho restaurants to go to with better service. She was the only rude server there, avoid her if you can do not ruin your meal.
Great pho and rice options! Definetely one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants near Toronto!
Great staff to assist and taken of order. Awesome.
My best friend and I love this place. We ve been going for years and the quality and attention is always fantastic!
Weve been coming here for a number of years, no issues. Food is great and price is reasonable. Keep it up!
Foods are great. Service needs improvement. Server needs to be more friendly, and approachable, a little smile will do the trick.
My go to place for pho and Vietnamese food. The service is super fast and always friendly. The restaurant is clean and the waiters pay attention to customers needs. I had from Pho to fried rice to grilled chicken and everything has been consistently fresh, good tasting and as advertised on the menu. Only weak point i found were the spring rolls that are too dry. Another nice surprise is pay cash and you save 10%.
Terrible staff
Food is always very good. I would of given 5 stars all around but they charged me 4 dollars for a few extra pieces of bok choy in my wonton soup. Thats not very reasonable. Otherwise its a great spot to eat.
Best viet food ever! I have been to several places around the city and this place has the best food. The pho, the grilled meat and rice combos are delicious and the portions are big. Apps are great too
My favorite go-to Pho place
Small portions. I got food poisoning
Always good to be back. Renovated and food menu upgrade is great. Will surely go back most probably with friends and family.
Walked in approx 7:50. Christmas Eve they told us last call was 8:00. We ordered. And did not wait too long for our food but as soon as we started eating the brooms and mops came out and we felt so rushed. The TV was turned off. I felt anxious and did not enjoy this experience nor the food we paid and tipped but this will be the last time we go there. There are a lot more competition that we will explore cost me $75 plus. Felt this service to be rude. I would have been ok if they told us they are done serving for the night. But this was a rude experience
First visit here. Food quality is normal. Service was ok. But too pricey 20-30% charge more than other Pho restaurants.
Not at all what it used to be. My friend and I had the rare beef pho and rare beef with well done beef pho. The food wasnt as good as I remember, service not the greatest, and not to mention their prices skyrocketed. I understand with prices going up and Covid and inflation but same bowl costs $12.50 a year ago and yesterday it was $17.50...never going back especially when there are so many other great pho restaurants near by with same old prices.
Delicious pho, never disappoints!
Speechless, not recommended at all.
One of the better Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Great food and great place. I will return to try out the rest of the menu
Had a great experience, ate the pho ga and fried shrimp. I love to soak the mint leaves and lime in the pho, and add sriracha.
The servers are also the worst! Food prices are also the worst! Is pho large size over 17$ before tax? This is ridiculous! And they don t even provide cilantro separately! The meat included is a bit dry! If you go here, I want to stop you!
Been there many times, loved it, enjoyed it. Will definitely recommend
One of my favorite spots in the north york area for pho. Prices have really gone up and they refuse to give you cilantro no matter what but Ill still give 4 stars for saving my life of the worst hangovers haha They lie to you and say they dont have cilantro but they do. Its kind of funny but so stingy.
Ordered chicken noodle soup (pho ga) and deep fried crispy pork spring rolls. Everything was hot and delicious and served quickly by friendly wait staff. Love this place! Vegetarian options: Several options for vegetarian meals. Parking: Ample free parking at store front and around sides of plaza. Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere - children welcome.
i heard this was the best Vietnamese restaurant, ive had better. food was okay, service was meh, price was same as everywhere else.
Everything on the menu is top tier. You cant go wrong.
Very good food and prices are great. Definitely recommend it !
Amazing banh mi, mussels, and hue bun.
Delishious
I ordered welldone Pho with beef balls on Uber Eats and loved it. Little bit pricey but the taste was not disappointed at all. Hope there will be a little more meat and softer noodles
We were greeted and seated promptly. Order came shortly after ordering. Waitress checked on us. A little on the pricey side. Overall, food is on point, service was prompt and proper. Do recommend!
I ordered 704, and it says it is with tomato paste. There is zero tomato paste in this food.
This is my go to Vietnamese restaurant - I love their pho, vermicelli bowls, fresh spring rolls and even the pad thai. The staff are friendly and the food comes out very quickly.
I got pho 307 which was really tasty. The restaurant has too many tables and you wouldnt have to spend time to be in line like other Vietnamese restaurants! Lol I wish they can provide more basil and lime! And the thing I dont like here is the staff, they are not nice and friendly at all! It might be due to their language barrier however not a good experience for me in this regard....
This restaurant is close to my home, and I became a regular customer. Taste okay, services okay. Bit expensive and busy. Food : 5/5
Food was good and service was fast
I do not recommend this place, its over priced for the food quality. I ordered a spring roll and a pho, after tax and everything it costs me over 30 dollars, and the spring roll is very dry, the amount of noodle cannot compete with other pho place as well. I would be happy if the price is like everywhere else and the they could give a little more noodle, but 30 something for pho like this would be crazy.
Food is good but unfriendly staff at times.
The absolute best tom yum soup i have ever had
They charge almost 18 dollars for a large pho and give an extra smalls worth. The oldest server there with awful service didnt help claiming that was the intended amount.
Great food
One of the worst pho places I ve tried. Meat portion is little, taste below average and on the very pricey side. Definitely would not come back.
The soup and the roll is good.
10/10
Very best Vietnam cuisine place in North York area.
Visited pho viet xpress several times in the past and each time was pretty good but during my most recent visit, quality decreased significantly. The restaurant offers three pho sizes: small, large, and x large - ordered a large which is priced at $17 before tax. The large is basically a small and I do not recall pho costing this much before. The soup was nice and rich but the rare beef was tough. Also found a small hair in the pho.
Great food amazing service
It s getting more and more expensive. The taste is not as good as before the epidemic. We have found another one with better value for money and will never come here again.
Ive lived in this neighborhood for over half a year, but dont typically like pho food. I decided to finally try it, and Im sad I havent tried it sooner. The chicken was absolutely delicious, as was the rice and the salad. Im very happy, and I will be coming back soon.
My partner got stir fried vegetables and I got pad Thai... I have to say Im terribly disappointed. The stir fry is dry, undercooked, and underseasoned. The pad Thai is so bad... Its also dry, I dont taste fish sauce or tamarind, I taste tomato Ew. I was excited to get pad Thai but this is really bad..
Tried their vermicelli with griled chicken and spring roll, deep fried chicken and shrimp rolls, and filtered iced coffee with condensed milk. The grilled chicken did not have too much flavor, but the portion of the whole bowl was pretty big. The chicken and shrimp spring rolls were good and the iced coffee was very delicious.
Parking: Parking all around the premise Kid-friendliness: Food is great, amazing service and quick Food : 5/5 |
Guys, try pho sate with hoison sauce and hot sauce, you wont regret having it. Trusttt meeee
Food is always hot, fresh and fast. Been here many times and never disappointed. We ordered rare beef, seafood and udon pho, very good. The pad Thai was very nice too. Gets busy fast, take out is an option.
My Bun Cha Ca ordered was served with hair and they still charged me, Phos broth was cold- water down with soup base caused me and my client a run to the washroom. Very pricey for small sized Pho not even closed to authentic and had to wait a while for it. Horrible experienced!!! Parking: Not even enough parking
Fresh, yummy fast open late! What more can you ask for! Food : 5/5 |
One of my go to spots for a good bowl of pho. Love the broth. I also recommend the rice dishes, vermicelli, spring rolls and fresh rolls.
If you are not from their culture they are extremely rude. Our table was the only table that god their food late. Only table that was not given water and/or tea. Our food was completely cold. We had to ask numerous times for things like herbs that are meant to come with the dish. Really horrible and laughed at us , I felt so uncomfortable my whole meal.
We had dinner there 2 nights ago . It was suggested by my son who is an expert in restaurants. We enjoyed a lot . Prices are decent , one can dine with $20-25 . Drinks are cheap . I had a bottle of Stella for $5.25 ! The place was clean and bright with a good atmosphere. My wife is a soup lover and they have a plenty of delicious rice and noodle soups !
Great food
Service is lousy. If you do not speak their language. Don t even bother. Their pho is not the greatest . There are much better pho around the area with much better service .
$6.5 for 122 grams of steamed vegetables. Only 3 brocolli florets, 2 half small bok choy, and some carrot slices. thats ridiculous.
The food is amazing. I got the pho special and the broth was very rich and didn t smell bad at all. The beef tasted really good as well. Would 100% recommend.
We have been coming here for over a decade and the food is excellent each and every single time. The service is quick and friendly, the food comes out piping hot, and the quality has not suffered throughout the years. The portions did get smaller (the XL is now a large bowl, the large bowl is now a medium bowl) but other than that, fantastic. Vegetarian options: Mushroom broth pho
I would say 4 star experience rounding down to 3 stars.. just cuz it s a bit pricy Pho was legit service was good.. Expect casual quick lunch to be $20+ per person without a drink or additional appetizers, then add tips on top Would I return? Maybe . Nothing wrong with the restaurant.. really comes down to a few dollars in price..
Great experience and the pho was exceptional. Late night dinners here are the best.
Best orange juice
Food are delicious and sizes perfect!
Food is great! Huge portions. Love the chicken vermicelli with spring rolls.
My son allergic to shrimp but they put shrimps into Bun Bo Hue. And I never tasted Hu Tieu My Tho with this noodles. These 2 dishes don t taste like Real Viet s Food
My wife loves Vietnamese rice noodles, so we visit this place often. The staff service is good and the food is good.
Food was awful. Maybe cause I got the vegetarian broth but it tasted so bland. Staff was friendly but would not recommend
Taste bad. No pho only rice noodles....
This was my go to pho place. They have good food and fast service. They recently started using some kind of dish soap thats getting in the water and pho. So I smell and taste it anytime I go there. Cant eat there anymore.
Parking: Not a bad place for pho a bit pricey Food
Got delivery. Vermicelli with grilled pork, grilled chicken, meatballs, spring roll, pork skin was good. The dish was well-packed. Grilled chicken was better than the pork. Pho with Rare Beef and Soft Tendon Rice Noodle Soup tasted fine, but its not great to get pho for delivery, as the textures aren t as good.
Great lunch option! My friend and I shared an XL beef brisket pho and it was definitely enough for both of us! We also ordered spring rolls With their cash discount it was only $25 + tip for the 2 of us Lots of menu options, quick service, lots of tables and seating, friendly staff Food : 5/5
I got #306, which was pho with rare beef. Not sure if a large size bowl would be too much, but you might need a side to be full if you get a small size. The broth was good!
Favourite pho place! Amazing food for good price. 9/10
Go-to Pho spot
My favourite noodle soup restaurant in town
The pho was nice !
This used to be my favorite pho place, but after last nights visit we were very disappointed to take this restaurant off from our favorite list. Price has gone up a lot to the level i think its not reasonable. If you want to keep your customers happy you either have to find a way by raising the quality to justify your increased price. You cant just increase the price just to make up the loss during pandemic. Customers do not owe you guys anything. Also, we felt the flavor has changed (not sure if this is just one time thing). There are other great pho places as an alternative option, so I suggest other customers to try as many as restaurant as you will surely find a cheaper place with better quality.
Clean Vietnamese place. A bit higher than similar restaurants but very spacious and cozy
Great food, reasonable prices and overall a great experience
good foods nice people customer service is ok But its a bit over price
I appreciate how they sanitize the chopsticks in warm Water. Waiting time for you order is not bad. Good customer service
Good place for pho
The service is consistently efficient and the food is delicious. Recommended for phò
Pretty decent pho spot
Never disappointed
Went there on Saturday night around 8pm. When we were there, it was fully packed. When we asked one of waitress how long it took to get a table, her answer is I don t know . It seemed like she didn t wann take any customers. Thats how u lose customers.
The pho is pretty good, but the barmicelli is not so good... First of all, the noodles are like fried noodles from a Chinese restaurant. I think its a good idea to go when you want to grab a quick meal at a cheap price.
Regular here, clean, fast and feel very welcomed here. The food is superb and the customer service has always been good to me.
For Vietnamese food, it still needs to improve!
We keep coming back to this place! Their Pho is authentic and flavorful! Their asking price is lower than other Vietnamese restaurant around this place. If you re a Vietnamese food lover, do yourself a favor and try this place out, you won t regret it!
I love the food but staff are not friendly. They clean the floor and you get to smell cleaner while you eat, which is not nice!
Good food, tasty, good portions for price. The restaurant was very nice. Will return.
Great food and service every time. My place for Pho.
Great prices, quick friendly service and honest to goodness fresh ingredients you honestly cant ask for more. Awesome new spot definitely worth a try
First time here and was amazing. Good pricing. Generous portions. Very tasty food. We got the chicken udon soup and seafood noodle soup. Both were great. Also love the tea that is served when you dine in. Def recommend here.
Overall average experience. May not best best pho restaurants in town. But fair.
EXTRA BEEF BALL for five dollar
My fav Pho in Toronto
Very clean restaurant with a great menu and reasonable prices. Pho is great and the bbq chicken dish was very well prepared. I would definitely come back here again.
Ordered 4 noodle soups to go and was very disappointed with the taste. Was dull and tasteless even the meat. Tried to add some sauce but still were not able to enjoy it. It was just a waste of money. Very disappointed.
My go-to pho spot!
Best Pho soups in Town. Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Saw many kids enjoying the food
What s wrong with this restaurant where was one of my favorite restaurants in my neighbor? Ordering Vermicelli, I was really disappointed. Because It tastes like uncooked noodles. It was much more tough noodles than usual. When I complained to the staff about this. She said they have changed their noodle brand. Even if I order Vermicelli again. It would be the same texture, said. And then they recommended I order rice noodle soup. As you are seen it. The meat in the soup has changed as well, which was dull and dry. I really hope you are back as before.
This place was a little more pricier than most restaurants I have been to in the area. The rare beef that they served looked like its been in the soup for hours. It was shriveled and dried up. We didnt even see the rare beef on top of the noodles when they gave it to us, it was on the bottom of the bowl.
The food its awesome, the employees are caring and polite, you dont see that alot now these days, suggest to give a try for a family dinner here for sure
Always good food and service. Usually not so busy. Parking available.
Post COVID changes: size of meals shrank, prices increased for about 20-30% When asked the manager about one of the missing salad greens ingredients, she lied, claiming the restaurant NEVER served it, which was really unprofessional and thus, annoying to me, a regular since the restaurant opening several years ago. That was not only arrogant, but also offensive on so many levels, that I have decided not to visit the eatery again.
Great food quality and very clean and fast. Would recommend their pho. Amazing broth!!!
Hu Tieu #203 is really good must try item I also recommend you guys try Pad Thai here ordered lots of time. Their Com Tam is good too
Came here from reading reviews. Did not disappoint. Food comes very fast. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Even came back the following week. Great job
Their food is always consistent here and tastes great. Especially their Pho and Bun Rieu. I always ask for the rare beef on the side. The restaurant is very sanitary and clean as well as their washroom. They give you a set of spoon and chopsticks in a cup with hot water which is a great idea. Their Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk is really good here as well.
Good food, authentic and fresh. The service is good and fast. We love coming here for a quick meal.
Being an immigrant myself I believe Im more tolerant towards immigrants however this is just ridiculous not even funny that most of the employees in this establish do not understand a world in English , considering this restaurant is in a Russian / English Spokane neighborhood its unacceptable . They asked me if I finish eating I said NO and they took my plate away anyways because they dont understand English!! The stuff looks like they are doing you a favor by serving you. The food taste okay pretty much online with any other of the 100s of pho restaurants in the city. Nothing special except mediocre service.
Best pho place in the neighborhood. Always fast and yummy. Well package for easy take out.
I would give zero star if I could, we saw a live, moving worm in our food. Report to health Canada is been made. The manager never apologized and asked us to pay for the food. Horrible costumer service. Never coming back
November/05/2022 We found alive worm inside the rolls and manager she took that off from table and she didnt even say sorry and she called the police because i wasnt happy about food and I didnt want to pay for that By the way I paid for the worm and bad experience Im going to follow-up by york health department
It was my best restaurant in my neighbourhood. I don t know what s happened now with this restaurant, I am really upset with food and manager work
Definitely one of the best place to get Pho in Vaugh- Richmond hill area, customer service is outstanding. Highly recommended
We love this place
Been visiting this spot for many years... Unfortunately will not be coming anymore. Even with inflation, price increases of up to 50% for a bowl of pho is ridiculous. Neither quality or quantity have increased/improved yet everything on the menu has gone up significantly. Unjustified. If youre craving pho, hit up any other spot in North York or Scarborough... More value and similar if not even better delicious taste
Best Vietnamese restaurant in the area! Quick service and delicious food!
The taste is not as great as any Vietnamese restaurant Ive tasted. The spring roll is so dry and not a typical vietnamese spring roll.Ive been this place few years back and still no improvement.
Great food, great service, very clean restaurant but my only complaint is they have the absolute worst Christmas music youve ever heard in your life.
Always a great choice. Amazing pho.
