I don t know if this was just an off day, but we got some dishes from here last night and the one dish had overcooked meat, and the other dish had undercooked chicken which we had to cook in the microwave, and there was SO MUCH PEPPER! We had to toss the food because it was so bad, which was really unfortunate because 1) we had heard great things about this place and really wanted to try it for a long time, and 2) we love the location on Sheppard and thought this would be similar. I don t know if we can give this place another try. We were looking forward to a good and fresh meal, but ended up warming up leftover dinner instead. This is the first time I ve actually had to throw out any takeout food, so it was a major disappointment. The only reason why I m giving 2 stars and not 1 is because the person at the takeout counter apologized for how busy they were last night, so I can only hope that this was a slip up.

I went with my dad last night as i could feel the beginnings of a cold coming on. I heard about this restaurant through tiktok and I new I had to try it. Genuinely this was a life changing experience. All of the recommendations from the owners daughter were a 10/10. The banh mi dip that i had was so incredibly flavourful and fresh i will genuinely be thinking about it until the next time we go. Also please get a matcha. I had the Sweet Egg Cold Foam Matcha and it was to die for. The matcha quality was so good and vibrant green. We also left with a bag of their signature tea as well as a bottle of hot chili oil. Definitely my new favourite restaurant. Thank you team Vietnoms!

Super Delicious! I tried the Banh Mi Dip, which I saw on tiktok, and it lived up to the hype! My friend tried their raw beef pho and said it was one of the best pho dishes she has had! Would highly recommend.

I recently visited a Vietnamese restaurant, and their pho was so delicious it made me miss Vietnam. They also served my favourite drink, a soursop smoothie (sinh t mãng c u xiêm), which was a delightful treat. I plan to return and explore their other menu items. Their prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.

I had the grilled pork banh mi and it was amazing. The pork was super flavorful, the baguette was really fresh and authentic, and the meat, bread, veg ratio pas perfect. You can tell they really care about quality of food they are putting out. Highly recommended!!

Although the prices are on the high side (vermicelli with grilled pork, sausage, and spring roll is $18), the taste is very good and portion size is also fine. 5% discount offered if paying by cash.

I was so excited to try this place, since we ve been to the Sheppard location many times and have always loved it. We finally stopped by to get some takeouts last week, and were left so disappointed. We ordered 2 dishes and an appetizer. When we arrived to pick up, the order was not ready, and I had to wait another 10 minutes. They were apologetic and gave a free coke. Got home, and the chicken stir fry with noodles was absolutely terrible. It was covered in black pepper (it wasn t even listed as a black pepper dish in the menu!), so much so that some of the chicken pieces were completely black. The black pepper was so overpowering, it was just not edible. It almost seemed like the cap for the black pepper accidentally fell off and dumped the entire container of black pepper onto our dish. On top of that, some of the chicken wasn t fully cooked through so we had to reheat it. Food isn t cheap, so we tried to salvage the meal by rinsing off the pepper. I ended up pouring the entire dish into a colander and rinsing it under running water. Even after doing that, there was a very strong black pepper flavour, and we were not able to finish the dish. The other dish we ordered was ok, but not the same standard we expected based on the sheppard location. I emailed the restaurant later that same night, but one week later, still have not received any reply or acknowledgement. This soured our experience even more. We are really disappointed in the quality of the food we received, and the lack of customer service/ follow up. Even though we were so excited about this location, we won t be returning.

I realy like the food.

Cute Vietnamese resto/café place. The off menu options have a lot of items that you may not find elsewhere. Workers are friendly and the vibe is cozy. We ordered the beef carpaccio, baby clams Stir fry and banh mi dip which looks absolutely delicious. Another good item is the hainese chicken rice!

The service is exceptional as well. The staff are friendly, attentive, and eager to make recommendations, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you re a Vietnamese food enthusiast or trying it for the first time, they make you feel right at home.

This is by far the tastiest pho Ive had in the GTA. I had the Hanoi style Lemongrass beef pho and the broth was unique and delicious. We also had the Bahn Mi Dip and for $12 makes an amazing meal for 1 person. The dip was so flavourful and the crispy baguette just softens nicely with the broth. Cannot recommend this play enough! Well done Vietnoms! The only downside is how small the dining area is. Its not very big and cannot handle strollers or more than one wheelchair. Side note: other reviews mention receiving a free pop for a review, however I didnt opt for this. The owner was very nice and friendly and the service was great so this review is written genuinely.

Place is a bit small with limited seating so during lunch time can be a bit of a squeeze. Customer service is very good to accommodate you due to their limited space. Sadly Im giving this place 4 stars simply because the food is not that good. Bear in mind that Im Vietnamese so I have eaten at many good Vietnamese restaurants so my standard for Vietnamese food is a bit higher than other type of cuisine. I visited the place twice and both time left wanting for more. - Hu tiu Nam Vang is not what the dish supposed to be. Its more like a mix noodle with meat and seafood. It tasted just ok but definitely not what I expected - 2nd time I ordered their special Pho and again the flavor is just ok. It had chicken though which I find unusual. Great place but the food is just not good enough for me.

Nice little restaurant. Went for lunch twice in the last 2 weeks. Ordered beef carpaccio on the first visit and it is very unique, second visit ordered beef rib pho and Hanoi style stir fried lemongrass beef pho, both are very good, especially the lemongrass one seats filling up pretty quickly and they dont take reservations.

PAID 5* REVIEWS: The restaurant is only one year old but has 500 reviews as they give you free soda with proof of a 5 star Google review. We came for the off market menu as the regular menu is not much different from other pho restaurants. The baby clam appetizer was a complete disappointment with absolutely no taste of clam in it. The seafood crepe was decent and the beef rib pho was very good. Serving size was abundant and service was good.

I wrote this review because of our pleasant lunch experience there. My wife liked their grilled chicken & spring rolls with vermicelli. Its not salty but delicious. I had vegetables and tofu pho. The non-vegetarian broth was not salty but hot in temperature & tasty. I found it refreshing as I tasted different vegetables, tofu and the pho noodles. The place was clean including the mens toilet. Limited seating space but cozy atmosphere. Appreciated their friendly service. Nice to have this restaurant in our neighborhood.

Finally a place where the reviews are not over hyped! We got the carpaccio, banh mi dip, charred beef rib pho and sizzling beef and enjoyed all of it! Definitely recommend the carpaccio and banh mi dip. Although my friend who has been here before said she felt the portion of the beef rib has shrunk in size, the portions of the other items were all fair in my opinion. Service was friendly, quick and efficient. Pricing is very affordable. Seating is pretty limited and a bit tight. Will absolutely be coming back again.

Came here for the first time and ordered the large special pho. For the price, it was such a great deal and the Pho tasted very authentic even my Vietnamese mother-in-law would approve. Been a frequent diner at their sheppard/bayview location, finally got a chance to try the thornhill location with their expanded menu and extra seating! Vermicelli grilled chicken with fried spring roll: juicy lemon grass chicken on a bed of vermicelli with fish sauce for dipping. The banh mi dip: you get this beautiful soft baguette with tender beef slices, which you dip into flavourful pho soup. Vietnoms special rice noodle soup pho: Soup is delicious, tender beef and chicken, plentiful noodles, and bite sized beef balls. Fyi, their large is humongous! Also tried their yummy cold foam series. So we paired Vietnamese coffee with pandan and another with ube. The ube was sweeter of the two and it didnt occur to us until mid way...but stir the drink lol . Note they dont take reservations and the place was packed when we went for Saturday lunch but I promise, the wait is worth it! The staff and the owner were welcoming and friendly as always. My picky food-eating son enjoyed the food too (he gulps the soup down like treasured water) .

The portion was humongous but not only that, the food tasted amazing. Id definitely say that it is up there with some of the best PHO broths Ive had. We also had the pork and shrimp fresh rolls and they were definitely the best Ive had. The peanut sauce that came with it was addicting.

They serve you complimentary tea to begin with & let me just say the food & drinks were something like I haven t ever tasted! 1st up was the Stir Fried Baby Clams with Sesame Rice Crackers - this was bazinga!!!! The clams were perfectly seasoned and paired so well with the crispy texture of the rice crackers. Next up was the Crab & Pork Tapioca Noodle Soup! Are you looking at this? This was so flavourful & the soup itself was BAZINGAAA! Again, Ive never tasted anything like this ever before! Highly Highly recommend this! Ive been coming to this place (and the north york location) for almost two years and it s not an exaggeration to say I havent had a single poor experience. Yes, you might have to wait, but it s well worth it! Notable dishes offered in this location only are the beef carpaccio, charred beef rib pho and my personal favourite, the lemongrass beef pho. It absolutely slaps with some of their chili oil drizzled on top - spicy, aromatic, beefy and slighly smokey from the wok- fried lemongrass beef. I can confidently say that I haven t been to a better Vietnamese restaurant since I found Vietnoms. Tony is a wonderful host and his family s food absolutely slaps. I ve yet to have a single bad item on their menu and I ve never left being not 110% full.

Pretty great lunch here! Fast service, friendly staff and really good food. Had the pho, special with rice, grilled beef bahn mi, finished with iced coffee. All winners!

Amazing food, amazing service, and so far very consistent high quality food. Went here twice so far and we tried very different items on their menu each time. Delicious! Also, the Vietnamese ice coffee with cold foam is also really good. So far, there hasnt been a single item that has let us down so far, well be back!

Best comfort Vietnamese food! Tried a bunch of stuff and loved everything, especially their drinks. Their drinks can mix and match the flavour and the topping, we loved the viet coffee with egg topping and matcha with sea salt crema. They pho was delicious and the provided lots of beef and noodles, bahnmi was delicious and the bread was crisp and filling was juicy. We tried the fresh rolls and the deep fried tofu with tamarind. All amazing and it was great! Must go!

Small resto with limited seats but the food was delicious!! Highly recommend the beef carpaccio and the meat platter! The carpaccio was so fresh and addition of nuts, fried mint and pickled veggies really made it over the top! The beef rib pho was also very good as the beef rib was charred which gave it a Smokey flavour. The tapioca noodles was ok. Wouldn t order it again. The coconut smoothie with ube was also very nice! Will come back again for sure!

Massive pho servings in a tiny spot on the NW corner of Bathurst and Steeles. Chef Thanh and her son Tony offer up friendly service with truly OG vietnamese specialties like Bun Bo Hue and Bun Rieu which for me when done right, confirms the awesomeness of everything else on the menu. The tomato based broth of the Bun rieu has deep flavour even before adding the fish paste as does their regular pho beef broth. Even their tea has a slight touch of pandan flavour that adds another dimension. A small no frills place that can sit 25 max across 6 tables so best to go early before peak times. Dishes are served in metal bowls which harkens to having them at vietnamese markets which is awesome. 5% off when paying cash but card is accepted. Will be back for sure!

We randomly found this small family run Vietnamese street style restaurant and decided to give it a try. We ordered a Vietnamese Coffee with Pandan foam, Dry Chicken Pho Noodle Salad, Shaking Beef and Bánh Mì Dip. I enjoyed the Bánh Mì Dip quite a bit as it was such a fun spin on the traditional Bánh Mì but served in a modernized way as an appetizer. The restaurant is very small and minimal. It can get quite busy inside the restaurant and there are lots of young folks here given their fun mix of traditional and modern street style food and drinks. Pricing is affordable and all food portions are generously sized. All side broths and soup dips are piping hot and just the way I like it. They also serve Pandan tea which has such a lovely and unique taste. They sell the full size bag of Pandan tea leaves here if you cant get enough of it like me. I would come back to try their other food items.

My wish is that they will open up a location closer to me in Richmond hill/markham so that I can go all the time! Their staff is so thoughtful and welcoming when I arrived with my baby stroller. Their Vietnamese coffee and food totally hit the spot. I ordered random things (curry beef egg noodles, sizzling meat platter, fish sauce chicken wings, vermicelli spring rolls, beef carpaccio) and portions were good and everything was fresh and very delicious! One of the best places to experience when theres a twist in a Vietnamese cuisine - Ive been eating Vietnamese cuisines at a lot of different restaurant, even the one across the street from this place but this restaurant takes it to a whole new level of perfection. Their off menu Banh Mi Dip is to die for! Its amazing, service is great, owner is kind and generous and... just come here and experience it yourself.

I would highly recommend Vietnoms on Bathurst. This family owned and operated business is so welcoming to all patrons. I was immediately impressed by how awesome the staff is, especially Francis who made some great recommendations. The green tea is a must try for tea lovers! I cannot wait to go back and work my way through the delicious menu. Ask for the off menu specials as it appears mom enjoys being creative in the kitchen and produces incredible dishes that anyone would enjoy! I am definitely a fan and supporter! Interesting dishes and the vibe is super chill. The owner is also a really friendly dude. definitely check it out if you re in the area!

I got the Banh mi dip and it was phenomenal. Ordered along with fresh spring roll and the Bun Bo Hue and I had a great time. Vegetarian options: Yes. Parking: Massive parking.

They have phenomenal takes on traditional dishes and rotating specials that you wont find elsewhere. Their aerocano is awesome and I had a great time with the vermicelli platter. I would suggest making the trek to try their limited time offerings

Second time coming and the experience was just as good as the first! I got seated immediately despite the busy crowd and the food was as always hot and fresh. Definitely coming back again!

This was my first visit to Vietnoms and as well my first taste of Vietnamese food except for pho. The owner Tony was so welcoming. He got to know our likes and dislikes and suggested a meal for us! Everything was delish! He then suggested the coffee to end the meal. These were also delish. So glad we went and will definitely be back
