This is my absolute go-to place for takeout. Food style truck. So if you are expecting to have indoors it's not going to happen. There are however very nicely laid out picnic tables with roots on them for your summer outside dining pleasure. The price is right, The chicken is great and some of the best baked beans I have ever had. I was even quite surprised when he stayed open during the winter!
What a great fine, the fried chicken so crispy is da best , and the sides are not store bought, they are all made fresh .
Great food! Was staying near Niagara Falls for my anniversary and really wanted to try some poutine. Service and food were excellent! We ordered a full rack of ribs and brisket poutine! There is not indoor dining, but they do have tables outside for people who want to stay and eat their meal. I would highly recommend this establishment for bbq!
Stopped in today and tried the brisket sandwich. Amazing, had the beans as a side and they are the best I’ve ever had. One of the owners brought us some chicken to try and it was incredible. We live local and wish we had known sooner that the food was so good there. Will be making many trips back.
Just went for dinner for the first time. We ordered the brisket meal and the pulled pork meal. Both were amazing!! Easily the best BBQ we have had in a long time! Staff was so friendly and while we waited for our food the owner came by and asked if we had been there before and what we ordered. When he found out we hadnt ordered the chicken before and it was our FIRST visit, he had chicken added to our order to try for free. NEEDLESS to say BEST chicken we have ever had in a long time.
Dinner and it was great. Food truck style with outside dining in front of the Merrittville Speedway so if you're looking for indoor dining in an actual building, this isn't for you. Fried chicken, tots and mac & cheese. All very good. Tasty crispy hot chicken, lots of tots that were fried and perfect. Mac & cheese had good cheesy flavor and consistency. A big portion and delicious dinner. Outside.
Excellent service, the server was very patient with my questions about cross contamination. He assured me there wouldn't be any. I got the Buffalo Chicken poutine, which was huge, I could only eat half. My husband got the BBQ rib combo with tutor tots and Mac n cheese. He said the ribs were perfect! We will definitely be going back here!
Had a craving for fries and saw the different offerings. Selected the classic poutine to test out the taste and quality. The fries were freshly cut and fries so it took a little while which is A-ok in my books! The poutine was layered in cheese curds and smothered with gravy… call me a traditionalist but I prefer my dark brown beef gravy to really bring the taste home. The gravy used was a little too sophisticated for my palate and hence the -1… Great spot for your smoked meats and fry cravings! They also serve up Pepsi products and accept plastic
Ordered from Uber eats Merrittville smokehouse and fries chicken let me tell you I will never order chicken from anywhere else s again and the brisket was cooked to perfection and way to good
Had the brisket and ribs for lunch today and Im giving it best BBQ around ... they also have catering options I will be using them in the near future for some broasted chicken and and sides for sure must try ,they are also on Uber eats so convenient, I will be ordering from there too when I dont want to leave the house...

I highly recommend this place. The food was fantastic, excellent! They really know what theyre doing, and the texture and flavor of every dish is there as proof! You wont regret it, and we would definitely return if were ever in the area again!
Ordered the 8 piece fried chicken family dinner. Excellent, all of it, the chicken was perfect the sides were delicious. Absolutely amazing value for the price.

Great pulled pork
I had the pulled pork sandwich. It was fantastic and then today I had the smoked brisket on a bun. Beautiful tasted excellent.
The first time we ordered from here it was great, This time the chicken was over cooked and dry like it was sitting under a heat lamp. The chili was extremely watery. The baked beans tasted like they had way too much liquid smoke in them. Tater tots were unfortunately the best item of the meal.
Had the pulled pork poutine July 6th lunch hour. Amazing!! Just pulled from a 14 hour smoke this morning. Yum. Enough for two.

Was so excited to find a BBQ place by chance out here, and more excited to see beef brisket on the menu. However, the brisket was dry and tough. Was a bit over-salted too, but the toughness was inexcusable. If you re looking for brisket, save yourself the disappointment.
We randomly found this today and oh I m glad we did, we had the pulled pork with cornbread, a brisket sandwich, and some friend chicken pieces and everything was delicious. Also, a lot more affordable than the BBQ alternatives in the region
Best ribs in the Region. Best ribs Ive ever had. Brisket is getting more dry each time we order it unfortunately. Need moist fall apart brisket with a nice crust and unfortunately the brisket here is a let down. Again, ribs unreal. Just try them! Fingers crossed the brisket improves for future visits.

I had the brisket sandwich and it was SO GOOD! My kids loved the Mac and cheese, coleslaw and fries! Definitely going back. Kid-friendliness: I was a little nervous because you have to cross the driveway to get to the smokehouse. There is also a random swing set there which my kids enjoyed

Went last year just before they closed .. Food was fabulous and the owner was very nice and friendly help us to figure out what we wanted.. Food so fresh and so very tasty.. We are going tonight and my mouth has been watering all day just thinking about going... yummmmy..
We Had the brisket sandwich and half rack ribs with 2 sides(. We picked macaroni salad, and beans) in my opinion the BEST ribs we have ever had and the brisket sandwich was amazing with the pickled onions and pickles on top, their bbq sauce is out of this world tasty. Also the service was amazing, the gentlemen brought the food out to us at our car as it was snowing, he was super friendly and he even came back out a few minutes later to ask how we liked it. Orders a 4 piece family meal. Ribs wete over cooked and out of 4 pieces of chicken they gave me 4 legs, expensive. Scam
I drove an hour and a half to try it out because it popped up on a Google search for me. Totally worth the drive. Had the pulled pork poutine, and it was the best poutine I have ever had. Good portion for what you pay. Not bad prices compared to other smokehouse bbq. Definitely worth a try if youre in the Niagara Falls/Fonthill area.
Chicken is amazing!! Service is spot on! Only complaint is the cornbread was a little dry but the chicken made up for it. Order your chicken here!!!

Have had there food lots but lately it has gone down the last 2 times I have had the brisket sandwich the bun has been Rock solid not fresh whatsoever ribs and everything else is stop on other then that.
Hubby and I both had the pulled pork... YUMMY, YUMMY!! I had mine on a bun, not a fan of the bun, but thats just a personal taste! Got the coleslaw, macaroni salad, and cornbread sides. All were fantastic. If you are in the area, definitely stop in for a try!! Food : 5/5

Oookay, I just tried their food for the first time. I ordered a pulled pork poutine.. Im still eating it right now, it is so ridiculously delicious I had to leave this review while I enjoy this, huge proportions too. Amazing, I am so satisfied with this dish, Im going to try everything on that menu. Thank you! This is worth every cent.
Amazing BBQ had the pulled pork sandwich twice this last week and the half rack n sides for 20 bucks you cant go wrong and they have full pkgs for groups of ppl you can get a brisket and ribs to go and it lasts a week its huge ..never had been here and decided to stop and so glad we did !!! we need more places like this in niagara Parking: Merrillville speedway is the lot so its a bit busy but lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Theres swings for the kids to play on while waiting and lots of different food stops like ice cream
Well worth the drive to Merritville. 2nd best BBQ I ve ever had in Niagara. Great price. Killer deep fried chicken. Beans were tangy and great. Tots and fries were top notch. Brisket had a bit of a pull, nothing outrageous and I did get it late in the day. The ribs were awesome. Get the PULLED PORK!!! Go out there if you have the BBQ craving. The chili needed work. Only down side I have to say. But everyone was happy. Parking: Enough to fill a speedway Kid-friendliness: There s ice cream near by, pizza and bbq so far. No booze that I saw. Families running around on a sunny day. Wheelchair accessibility: It s a trailer in a parking lot.

I really don t know where to start . This is my second time here . I love the fact. There are two kids here on dirt bikes as there was no place like this when I was a kid ripping around a dirt bike .. probably should not have wasted my money on the onion rings or the french fries. The two times I was here .. as the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches are all fulfilling an amazing .. I will definitely be back

My new spot for wings. The broasted wings are big, soft, saucey and breaded, just how I like them. Cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Goes so good with a wood fired pizza.
I enjoyed immensely my chilli cheese hot dog. Our poutine was so yummy. Baked beans very flavorful and the macaroni and cheese just amazing. Definatley will become a date nightfor us. Prices are reasonable. Great food and great service I highly recommend.

We LOVED our BBQ meal there today! I had the pulled pork sandwich and my hubby had the cheeseburger combo. The owner came by our picnic table to check on us and was really friendly. We will certainly be back to try the pizza and yummy-looking giant ice cream cones. We both had leftovers to take home. Huge portions!
Ive had the enjoyment of trying most items off the menu. The Fried Chicken is truly amazing. Its beyond tender, flavorful and each bite is equally satisfying. The ribs are tender with flavorful sauce and might just be my favorite item on the menu. The pulled pork poutine is a crowd-pleaser. Prices are average however the food quality and service definitely exceed my expectations. The portions are large and you wont be disappointed. Come early to ensure you get what you like!! Plenty of parking and onsite seating to enjoy your meal the moment you pick it up.

Pulled pork on a bun was absolutely phenomenal. Potato salad? You betcha. However, not a fan of the macaroni salad. Overall this place is great.

Wife brought home a half pound brisket for me nice and tender great flavor needless to say it didnt last long and left me wishing I had more Glad its close but not too close
They need to update their hours of opening. Drove there Sunday Nov 27 at 1:15pm and they werent open. Very annoying when times posted online for Sunday opening are noon-9pm. What a waste of my time and gas driving out there! I had to give one star just to post but they dont deserve it.
