Overall a great experience with tasty food and amazing customer service! I'd like to start by saying the flavors of everything were amazing. I especially like the hot and 40Creek wings. I love the pizza; however, there were some issues. The first pizza we got was too Raw in the middle. The pizza had to be eaten with a fork and knife. For the second pizza, we tried double toppings. The pizza, this time, was cooked perfectly. However, it was so overly greasy on top that I had to Pat it down with a paper towel (I should have taken a picture as words don't give it justice to the level of grease). In saying that, the pizza, to my standards, was still delicious. Others, however, were turned off. So, in closing, the customer service and the wings are an A+, and the pizza is a solid B.
This gem popped up in my suggestions on Instagram this past summer. I decided to give them a try today (November 15) and was shocked by how similar the taste was to my hometown of Chicago. Any fellow Americans visiting Canada that are looking for a pizza spot that resonates with home, this is the place to be. Service is 5 stars and so is the food! My only go to spot in Niagara Region now.
Oh my goodness what the can I say there isn't enough damn stars to give out this place is absolutely amazing since the day they opened !!! we can never get in fast enough to eat lol Before I realized that pizza is half gone food is half eaten and I want to take a pictures but it's too late lol Pizza is always top knotch Wings are fantastic Subs incredible The home made chicken noodle is amazing. Seriously thank you made my night being sick and you gave me your soup I will be coming there daily now..!! The owners are absolutely fantastic family run husband and wife great staff you can't find a better family pizza business than this one highly recommend anybody anywhere order from here..!!! I was able to catch a couple pictures tonight Thanks everyone at Lew's for always making us feel welcomed and incredible food see you next time!! Michelle and Damyn
Hello there, as you will see I don't post or whatever, I'm older, but I think we should recognize effort and success especially in our community. I don't really like pizza that much and never order it but had a craving, go figure. They're a new business, thought I'd give them a shot. This pizza had enough cheese on it, I could have won a carving contest at the Wisconsin State Fair! Also a ton of pretty thick sausage and pepperoni and fresh mushrooms. I think I'm a better fan of pizza now. Give credit where credit is due, best of luck to you guys.
The service was fantastic. Nice touch by the staff for putting a message on my pizza box. Pizza was good. I got a cheese pizza a half pepperoni as I heard lots of people talking positive about the pepperonis. Overall good pizza, excellent service. Keep up the good work
This is the absolute BEST pizza I’ve ever had. We use to get pizza from a different joint all the time and it was usually fine but since the first time I eat here I haven’t gone anywhere else and don’t plan to. I’ve never had pizza and wings that have made me sink into my seat. Holy it’s good. The service is great they’re all friendly. The cook always makes eye contact with the customers and you can tell they love what they do. 10/10 joint
I tried LEW’S pizza this weekend after hearing great things. The service was great, pizza was ready on time and came out hot. Prices were fair, came to $26 for a large which was a big large. The pizza was good, the topping were plenty and tasted fresh. The cheese didn’t seem to melt well, maybe too cold when it was put on or maybe the moisture or fat content were off. The crust was good, very thin, making the pizza floppy and it was burnt in a few spots underneath. The edges were crispy yet had a buttery texture. The sauce was a good amount as well, and was on the sweeter side. Overall it was a good pizza, the staff were very friendly. Check them out if you are in the area.
We had an excellent experience! Food was amazing and staff are super friendly and aim to please. We had wings, salad, pizza, and a sub. The wings were perfect--crispy, and a flavourful sauce with the right amount of heat (I ordered hot). They even came with blue cheese dip and veggies--definitely not your typical pizzeria experience of soggy wings. I'm craving them again already. My Caesar salad was a good size with fresh lettuce, homemade dressing, and real crumbled bacon. We ordered two pizzas--the Rooster and a custom pizza with cup & char pepperoni. They have your typical toppings and premium options like sun-dried tomatoes and artichokes. The sauce and cheese are flavourful and the crust is a hand-tossed thin crust with a crunchy edge. Because they hand-roll every made-to-order pizza, it takes a little longer (though ours was only about 30 minutes), but it is definitely worth the wait! They are very generous with the toppings as well. The chicken finger sub we ordered was also huge and loaded with ingredients. There were 4 large chicken fingers in it. One sub could easily be a meal for two people. The prices on everything we ordered were very reasonable and well worth it! Parking is plentiful right out front and the door is at street level and should be easily accessible. They are allergen-aware and also provide great vegetarian options. We're already looking forward to the next visit!
Had their steak subs there a few weeks ago and have been going once a week or so since. They are really good and loads of meat on them without paying for extra meat prices!!! Staff is very pleasant and always have a smile when you walk in!! Great place!!

My mom recommended this place, and we were absolutely blown away by the pizza and wings we got. We especially liked the message on the side of the box. Our new go-to pizza place from now on.
Had a pizza from Lews soon after it had opened and it was very good but we ordered 2 Italian subs and at $14 a pop you would expect a good sandwich...no lettuce at all, barely any tomato and I asked for 1 with onions the other none, well neither had onions wtf!!!??? Was going to order from Cheryls subs in the Falls but husband suggested Lews because the pizza was good. I really like to see new places do well but if you arent consistent with your service and you cant be bothered Im not going to waste my money!!! Oh and the cold cuts were so thick yuk... not thinly sliced and layered but thick slabs..
Tried all the pizzas and they are all fantastic. Just had the Italian Sub best Ive had in 50 years Food

We ordered a Pizza from Lew s as we were staying at The Inn on Lock 7 in Thorold . This was the Best Canadian Pizza we have ever had lots of topping and very cheesy ! The service was excellent . Lew and his wife were so friendly , my husband was very impressed with their hand printed menu board that was done by Lew s wife . Great pizza and lovely people . When we visit Thorold again we will definitely go back for their Pizza and check out the many other choices on the menu .
Ordered a couple of subs today, called ahead and they were ready and delicious! Quality bread and cheese, veggies were fresh and chunky. Vegetarian options: Veggie subs, cheese pizza
Good pizza. Coming from an Italian thats makes pizza. Good job. Make sure you cook it good on the bottom. It needs to be brown on the bottom. Sauce is good.
Had heard about this place online and drove just over an hour to try it out. Glad I did. The ingredients are fresh and the pizza was amazing. Cooked perfectly.
Finally have a great pizza place that is close to home, the pizzas are top notch, the steak sub is great and the wings are the best cooked wings I ve had in ages. The staff are also the nicest people greeting you when you walk in the door. Great addition to Thorold.

Went here today for my first time ever. Pizza is absolutely delicious and very filling. Pizza was cooked perfectly. Hope to be back soon to try one of their steak subs

Great pizza! They use quality ingredients and take pride in their work. Lews is a excellent new business in Thorold. I own my own business and I know how hard it can be to please everyone. Lews does a great job and I definitely recommend!

We are 5 hours away from Thorold, we will definitely be ordering from Lews again. Meatball sub and steak subs, onion rings and fries were ordered....AMAZING!!!! Delivery was fast and young man very polite...Great Job Lews Staff.

Just tried Lews for the first time and I was blown away by their huge 12-slice pizza! My go to is cup and char pepperoni with hot peppers, which was bomb! definitely a must-try!

This place is a gem in Thorold. Aaron, Kristen and their staff are always friendly. The pizza is delicious and cooked to perfection. The wings are large and fabulous. We have eaten here since it opened. Food quality is consistent. Try it, youll like it!

From the time I placed my order the staff was friendly and courteous. My order was ready in the time quoted and was nice and hot and very well prepared. We could even see the pizzas being prepared fresh in the kitchen on arrival. The pizza trays were delicious with generous toppings! We tried 5 flavours of wings and all were tasty! Wings were a decent size too, and cooked perfectly. Definitely good value for the price! The personal greetings on the boxes were an extra special touch! We will be back!

Great experience! Friendly staff!! I ordered rooster pizza, honey garlic wings and cajun wings. Wonderful staff and food. I like stuff saucier than most, the staff were very accomodating. Some of the best customer service I have seen in years!!. The cajun wings are a great blend of spices with some heat. The pizza delicious. I reccomend trying Lews.
I had the Lewis special. Awesome!! Beware because of the sausage you get a bit of grease but that s what make it perfect, not to mention the crust and overall flavour. First time and it s my new go to! Worth the drive from the falls!!
1st time ordering. They made our pizza without our toppings. The solution was to place cold toppings on our hot pizza, and the compensation they provided was to not charge us the for the cold toppings. The pizza was actually really good. However, left lots to desired as the topping were cold.

The wings were small and pricey the taste was OK but once again, small and unbreaded, and as far as the pizza goes, it had a taste I think in the sauce that I couldn t place, but it was something that I didn t like and I like a cheesy gooey pizza I don t like the cheese and the sauce just melt right into them to the dough Just becomes like a colour on top as opposed to sauce and gooey cheese on top

Wings were done to perfection. Definitely not small as someone else posted. The pizza crust and sauce were perfect. Too much cheese for me though.Thats why I knocked off 1 star. Very friendly family running the place. There will definitely be a next time here and ill ask them to go light on the pizza cheese. UPDATE; I had bought the pizza at around 2pm. I ate 2 pieces right away. Closed the lid and left it on the kitchen table. Room temperature. Attacked the pizza around 9pm. No reheating. Im not joking, maybe the one of best tasting pizzas Ive ever had. Didnt seem too cheesy as I first thought. The pizza is scrumptious. No doubt a 5 star gem of a pizzeria. Very unique old time pizza.
