The bar was quite full with friendly locals, got to chat with a bunch of nice people. Had a few reasonable priced tasty beers.

We had my dad's celebration of life here and I want to sincerely thank all the wonderful staff. They were so nice and accommodating helping us organize things, the staff the day of were great and very helpful, we really had a nice time and are very grateful for all they did for us. Thank you so much!
I am giving this bar a five star rate. Why? Well, it is the red neck bar I grew up with in the late 70's and 80's. I recently visited the bar, it had live music and it was great. There were a few drunks, back in the day it was the same. There were fights back in the day, which was to be expected from that side of town. All in all, this bar was a good visit. Keep up the good work...to the owner. Live music is the key to this bar.
Love Nightmare on Gore! Always such a great night. Definitely want to check it out on Halloween. Decorations are fantastic, music was great, food delicious. Drinks are super affordable as well 🍺
By far one of my favourite live music venues in Thunder Bay, nestled into the core of Westfort. The best Caesar’s ever, live music every weekend no cover charge. They also take care of their bands, have an epic sound man and light show, and are always evolving and changing with the times. Sweet outdoor patio with bar as well, great hang out spot all year round. A very come as you are kind of place, people of all shapes sizes colours makes and models. Prior to Covid - the dance floor is always hopping but needless to say it’s always a good time at the Wayland.
Neat place! We went to check it out for a open mic night. Enough people out. Beers were a good price and there was a good selection. I can't get over the washroom in this bar. Super neat.

Nice deep fried foods but the service was garbage. I didnt receive a part of my order. Paid for the whole table and left early then they claimed TO MY BOSS that I hadnt paid. Real clam heads. I wont go back.

Its a dive bar youll come to love. The staff are friendly when theyre not swamped, you go to have a drink after working a hard shift

Told me to move my truck off the snow bank, made my ear drum bleed from how loud it was and the beer was cold. Its a bar what did you expect
Been there almost every night since i just bought a place on crawford, service has been great! Tonight though may 6th 2022 im sitting at bar done my beer pushed it ahead and money on bar table, wait 5 min no issues! The start a 15 min timer on my phone, new client walks in she serves him she by passes me 7 to 10 times once the timer beeper wen toff i left! And mentioned it to the decent waitress! Guess the one in the jean jacket and white shirt dont give a care about customers!

Great place for kickin back and enjoying westfort side of t.bay. Waylands brings in decent entertainment throughout week. If its karaoke during certain weekdays or bands on weekends, its always a hoot

When i call this a dive bar I say it in the cool sense. Its the kinda place you can count on cheap drinks ,good music and of course running into a few faces you havnt seen in far to long. Its been awhile but I also remembering them having some amazing food ! After a few bevy tho most food tastes amazing! I remeber in my younger years this bar being a part of going out rotation and usually wasnt a week wemt by I didnt stop in. Also for as long as I can remeber halloween was were thisbar got any of the others in tbay beat! Its in the name night mare on gore I cant tell you how most Halloweens ended but I no they started with tons of fun .Im so glad to see the family still going strong and keeping this dive relevant in todays world

Its been quite a while since I had a beer at the Wayland . Very impressed with the upgrade at the Wayland. Enjoyed very much The JB Band . The restaurant was superb !

Band is usually good and the drinks are cheap. Be wary though, had my phone stolen here. People can suck, but if youre looking for a good place to dance with pool and tables to sit at...this will be your jam.

Is the first time Ive ever been here didnt realize that an outside patio inside was actually remarkably nice they had a live band too as well bar service was very nice its a little compact but I dont like the big places anyway so this was perfect for me and it looks like they even have an outside patio for like events to as well cuz it was set up that so you could have cool drinks out there but it wasnt that type of event when I went but I think you could even have parties there too as well for pre day wedding partys
