Yesterday me and my family went here to eat and we really enjoyed the udon soup because they have a huge quantity of udon soup. We also ordered sushi, sushi was really good but the seaweed was a little chewy and was not that good but everything else about the sushi was great.
I enjoy the experience everytime I am there. I like the food and the amazing services. I will be coming back
Very reasonable size portions. Rolls were made with high quality ingredients. My appetite was satisfied after a couple rolls. I spent over $50 on my takeout order and I was offered a free order of tempura. They also have rolls of the day at a discounted price. I would easily consider going back.
We weren’t sure where to eat dinner when we stopped in thunder Bay for the night. We decided to check out Osaka sushi. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was fantastic and lovely. I would definitely eat here again. If I lived in the area, I think this would be a regular dinner spot for me.
As I noticed most restaurants lose their flare and quality over time, But not Osaka, Just like our first time going there a couple yrs ago we were yet again greeted with fast service, friendly staff, excellent quality food, affordable prices which is almost unheard of these days but they some how did it and best part is that it's Authentic and not rushed being put together like other places. HIGHLY recommend going there if you fancy a deal on amazing food
Absolutely amazing food and service! Staff is super friendly and accommodating for allergies. Definitely going to be a favorite date night place 😀 will recommend to others!
Do yourself a faviur & eat here! The best meal in Thunder Bay! Salmon poké was amazing, but I saw the assorted Poké too and my dinner mates loved it. The tea is the best green tea, the kind you find in traditional sushi placea. I cannot wait to go back here and get more poké! The sushi looked fabulius also. And rhe service was superb! We showed up 20 minutea before closing and the food was ready quickly. No one asked us to leave. They just told us to take our time and enjoy our meal and tea.
Great start! I love my poke bowls and I've been missing them since leaving Toronto. Osaka is now my go to whenever I have a poke bowl craving. If you're looking for them, they don't even have a sign up yet. Look for the building where Outlaw Burgers is. They are sharing half of the building.
This place is NOT all you can eat. The pricing is very expensive. $3.25 for a miso soup! Anyways the quality of the food is very low. Nothing special unfortunately.
I love how accommodating they are with our plant-based diet. Food is excellent!!! Vegetarian options: They have tofu and are very accommodating
so good, i am not a sushi fan but i will 100% eat here. so many different options. definitely try the gyoza or shouga beef, or a chicken teriyaki roll!

Shasimi is fresh, the food I order is tasty, staff are friendly and overall the shusi place to go back to.

Ordered a few rolls for pick up and really liked what I got.. for the price I couldnt believe the quality! Good chance my next few sushi orders will be placed here. Could become my preferred place to order sushi in town! cant wait to get hungry again so I can eat more of my order lol.

The service was excellent for a take-out order. However, I was a bit disappointed in the food. The sushi rice was not sweetened and the soya sauce was also just regular soya sauce. However, the fish was fresh! I also got the fried wontons, those were yummy!

Wish I took a pic before I ate it all up. Absolutely amazing, tasty, fresh food. I had the Las Vegas 8pc sushi for dinner & an order of cheese wontons. Perfection. I would say an affordable price for quality sushi. Hoping this place remains affordable and upholds the quality they are operating at now. I will continue to be a repeat customer for as long as they do. 5 stars for Osaka!!! New fav for sure.

Tried out Osaka for the first time tonight and was very impressed with their food. I had the assorted (chef inspiration) poke bowl and was delicious! The sushi rice bowl was toppled with dried and fresh seaweed, a blend of cucumbers, onions and bits of seasoned salmon, tuna, clams, mixed in a sweet salty and spicy dressing. I loved it. It was so good I forgot to take a picture of it.
Incredible food. Came here last week for the first time and I plan on ordering once a week from here. Incredible food. Justin is very friendly and helpful. 10/10 service and friendliness. I reconmend their Poke bowls and sashimi.

Really good. Fresh. Rolls are large. Only complaint was that they mixed up my order and instead of giving me a side of tempura vegetables they gave me a tempura vegetable roll. Wasnt a big deal but I ended up with too many rolls for one.

This is the best Sushi in Thunder Bay, HANDS down ! ! ! ! The staff are friendly, helpful, and go over and above to satisfy their customers. The food is fantastic! All the ingredients are super fresh and seasoned perfect. I had the Dynamite roll, California roll and the Assorted poke bowl. JUST AWESOME ! ! Oh . . . .the best part of it all, the price was reasonable. My new go to sushi restaurant in Thunder Bay Additionally, they catered a large party for me at camp. They were AWESOME. The staff/owner was flexible and helpful, the food was fresh and most importantly . . . It tasted even better by the lake. Thanks Osaka Great job . . . I will defiantly do this again
