Ordered double jack and coke with lime got a single. Ordered surf and turf garlic butter and lobster sauce upgrade. Lobster tail was a cross between rubber and obvious freezer burn. The garlic butter was a shot glass of a watery substance with parsley in it. And then the lobster sauce was very obviously simulated crab meat literally the worst meal I ve ever had there.

This is my go to place for steak. I have never had a bad experience here and we just keep coming back for more. My kids enjoy the food and atmosphere. My wife loves the menu as do I. Just totally awesome place to celebrate every occasion. Kid-friendliness: Perfect portion sizes for kids of all ages.

I really like mac and cheese and theirs is amazing. Cornbread adds a nice flavour change. Overall good food and I love drawing on the table

this is the second time i had my order from thunder bay montanas and had it screwed up last time shorted both of us one wing each 7 instead of 8 this time bill clearly says honey garlic but both had medium hot sauce

Great food great service

Went today for my mom s birthday. Walked in and we were seated right away, hostesses were very pleasant and kind. When we were brought to our table our server came by and took our drink order no issues. Seemed like a hockey team was helping serve tables. Got drinks and asked for crayons so my son could draw, had to request multiple times before we got them, that s not a problem. Issue began when we had to wait approx 45 mins until the manager came out to tell us it was going to be a longer wait. Manager offered us fries in the meantime. I requested my son s kids meal be rushed as he was hungry and hadn t eaten since lunch at school. Our food finally arrived an hour and 15 after ordering and our waitress basically disappeared, probably just let her manager take over. Waited a bit longer for our bill after eating, this is probably like 20 mins after we had finished, still no waitress in sight. We went inside to request our bill and another waitress asked us what we had ordered so she could print the bills. She messed up the bills, and had the other waitress fix them, they were messed up again. Mind you this was only two bills. Not that complicated. I ended up just paying all together and fixing it with my own cash after to sort it out. No apology for the wait, no compensation for any of the confusion. Safe to say we won t be returning.

Went for birthday dinner, had the GREATEST TIME AND DINNER EVER. I was blown away by the service and ribs were delicious, I left crying with happy tears and rosey was amazing, 1000/10 would recommend to everyone in town and beyond!

My family and I recently went to Montana s and we were absolutely blown away with the incredible service from Rosey. She went out of her way to make our experience memorable. Drinks were fast, food came out in no time and we left there with a full stomach. My kids enjoyed their meals and left happy. Thank you to rosey we will be back and wanting her as our server!

Kim was our server and is excellent in so many ways. We are from USA and passing through and decided to try this restaurant that was near our hotel. She recommended the ribs and they were fall off the bone good and the loaded baked potato and coleslaw were spot on. The food was hot and tasty. Kim also had a great sense of humor. She is the best server we had encountered. Id recommend this place.

Food was really expensive for what it was. French fries looked like theyre frozen and the cole slaw tasted bad. The ribs were bland and the sauce could do nothing to change that. For 60$, even the bloody ceasar was off.

Haven t eaten here for almost 5 yrs. It s great to be back. The service was exceptional, our waitress (Cynazia) was very helpful, and had the perfect balance of checking in back with us and leaving us to enjoy our evening. The food was amazing, the fish was some of the best I v had. So tender and flaky. The atmosphere is typical of this type of restaurant. I just wish they would not turn up the music so early in the evening. But that s a very minor thing. Overall 5 stars across the board.

Absolutely REEKS of urine inside the restaurant. it literally made me nauseated. server had a bit of a power trip and was rude. we left early. the food was COLD and it was obviously sitting out for a long time. when we asked, the server snapped at my mother. then ignored us when we reported it. thank you, ANDREW for the awful service. literally spoiled my grad celebration.

It s a beautiful place, every way you look there is a detail to amaze you. They have a lot of options for kids and adults. The ribs are OMG! They are constantly making sure everything is OK. Plenty parking space. Bus stop very close too. Outside patio option for the summer time. (In the picture, there is the large ribs plate and the cheesse cheesse pizza for kids. Overall a great place to go!

First, it took an hour to get seated. Not sure why there was lots of place. Waiter was very slow to take drink order. Took about 20 minutes to come back for food order. Food Took 40 minutes to come out. Dry, overcooked and not that tasteful. Let waiter know my steak was overcooked (didnt ask for another only wanted chef to know) and he agreed. No comp...no nothing but $220 bill. Not going back.

We eat at montanas frequently in winnipeg where were from and I get aometimes things are busy but all I wanted was to pay my bill. Took 3 servers to figure out getting me the bill to pay after getting frustrated. Was a typical experience minus the confusion at the end.

Always great food and service but that aside I wanted to acknowledge the manager Kim! She s an asset to the restaurants success and a reason why we continuously return! She is beyond kind, thoughtful and courteous to all customers and is ALWAYS smiling and cheerful.

Ordered takeout. Asked for sauce on side didn t happen. Asked & paid for extra sauce didn t get it either. Barley had any on my wings . Ribs were kinda soggy. Salad was very good & the main reason the review is so good lol. Chicken in salad was good. Not enough dressing though unfortunately. Service was decently quick.

We were blown away by the service and amazing treatment at the Thunder Bay Montanas today. We came for dinner and needed a wheelchair accessible table.....despite it being busy, they sat us right away. My special needs foster daughter ordered ribs but the she just didnt like the sauce she chose. We didnt expect anything for free as it was our fault for choosing something we were not familiar with, but they replaced the entire meal for free! They also were so accommodating, patient and friendly. Thank you Rosie and the staff at Montanas!

Food was good. Our first waitress was really nice and I liked her til the other other waitress brought in our dessert. Me and my hubby were talking, arguing. She asked whos cake is thus, didnt even wait for our answer not even 1 second. So I suggest all waiters u hire shouldnt be racist!. Sorry I love this place. This the first time I experienced.
