An amazing visit with waitress Bianca. From our bacon wrapped steak appetizer to the Rose Gnocci and the lobster vodka penne by far the best pasta we have had. Our waitress was so sweet and perfect at her job went and above and beyond

Thursday night is the perfect night at the Industry. There is absolutely a downtown New York vibe. Wonderful cocktails and apps. They have these amazing artists playing music. Tammy Wilson has an incredible voice. I told my wife that Thursday is the New Friday after this enchanting night. What a wonderful date night. Thank You Industry!

Ordered a Novem-burger special as Takeout, restaurant looked nice inside and had nice atmosphere, food was pretty good overall as well a recommended stop if passing through!

Food was phenomenal, service was quick, (espically for a packed house) knowledgeable, and Charismatic. We had the Novemburger, they used creative ingredients, a pastry bun (which was unbelievable) and we had Cesar salad and fries as a side which were both flawless. The atmosphere had a feel like we weren t in thunderbay anymore. Big city gastropub feel with small town charm and intimacy. Beverages were creative and fun - The margarita was among the best we ve had (sorry Nortenos haha) and the cheesecake- hands down the best in town. 10/10 we will be back.

We went for a trivia night and it was a lot of fun! We had the Novemberger and it was incredibly tasty and unique!

Hour forty five for nachos

We ate here last month. The staff member who met us at the door was delightful, helpful, and friendly. She was the only positive part of our visit. The place was not busy, but staff basically ignored us - we watched them standing at the bar talking to each other, doing nothing while we waited 20+ minutes for them to bring over our drinks. Steak tips were just gristle burnt to crisps, deep fried brussel sprouts were mushy and lukewarm. At the end I asked for the bill. Our server went back to the bar, and stood there chatting for 15 minutes. I finally got up (wearing a leg cast), grabbed my crutches, and started walking to the bar to pay. Only then did he bring the bill over. The first time he actually started showing any interest or anything other than disdain for us was when I was paying and punching in the tip. Suddenly he was all conversation and smiles. Odd timing. Thunder Bay has a wealth of excellent restaurants and bars. Dont waste your time and money here.

I ve had lunch here a couple times & found the food delicious. Especially loved their Greek Salad. Will be back.

Atmosphere, food and vibes are all great! From the waitress Alana, waiter Mike, to the kitchen staff Mack,Kev, johno and the whole crew, makes it an awesome place for good food and times!

A few weeks ago I celebrated my birthday here with a large group, and I couldn t have asked for a better experience! The staff was amazing, especially Alana, who went above and beyond to make the night extra special. The drinks were great, food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. It s such a great place for a birthday party or any celebration. Highly recommend!

Food is not good. Tried two pasta dishes (vodka penne and seafood fettuccine) and both were pretty bad. Luckily it was 30% off pasta that day so the price was not awful, but if it were full price we definitely would have sent it back. It seems like a place that serves overpriced food because they have a nice atmosphere. The service was good though.

Service was good. Atmosphere was a nice vibe. Food was terrible. Gnocchi was SO oily. Never seen so much oil on anything in my life. It was supposed to have truffle oil on it, pretty sure they forgot because it had no taste of truffle at all. Tasted like plain gnocchi with way too much oil on it with some mushrooms. I m almost certain the nachos were sitting under a heat lamp before they came out. The cheese was not stringy or hot, just a massive clump of room temperature cheese. There was a whole bag of nachos on the plate including the bottom of the bag with all the crumbs. You could lift the top layer of the nachos with the hardened cheese up and see almost half of the bag of nachos with nothing on them below. I don t like leaving negative reviews, but damn, that food needs some TLC for taste and presentation. That s what s going to bring people back.

From out of town and dropped in for lunch and stayed for hours. Food was great and the beers were cold. Service was outstanding from Katelyn. Met the owner (Tyler) who talked us through his vision and plans. Decor is modern speakeasy vibe and done very well. Would go again for sure if we are ever in Thunderbay.

The place is beautiful. The servers are capable. The food is not bad. This place just has some growing pains finding out what it is best at. A great spot to take a date or large group. Patio is far from the kitchen so if you sit there expect more laid back service. The back area looked very interesting. Daniel was our server and he was an amazing mixologist. Will return in the new year to see the improvements.

Came here with my girlfriend and had brunch! The Full English Breakfast was so yummy, the portion size was great, and the hash browns are a MUST have!!! Definitely recommend.

Came to the industry again( because it is my favorite place )...., had the pizza finally. it was the best pizza I have ever tasted. Staff are wonderful . I am always welcome. Ive had the goat cheese dip and Ive had nachos and brunch, and Ive never been disappointed. I always leave here happy and full. Thank you again for a wonderful experience

Some great original selections and very tasty, but but the service was bland. The server must have been tired or been missing out on something she really wanted to do. A parking lot feel as an outdoor space was inescapable! How about a rooftop vantage?

Seafood fettuccine noodles were clumped together..Al dente and not it a good way

Went to The Industry for Sunday brunch with my softball team. We were 1 of 3 tables in the whole restaurant. Wait times for drinks and food orders were long. Service was minimal. Food started coming out slowly, 1/3 of the team ate first, then slowly the other 2/3 came out. Some members of our group never received their food until after everyone was finished. My order was eggs Benedict, breakfast potatoes + extra side of sausage. The breakfast potatoes were underdone and not good at all. They seemed to be rationing their food as the portions were small. Barely any hollandaise sauce. There was no quality check from our server, which I was waiting for in order to send back the potatoes. No communication/apologies from staff as to the chaos of our tables order. Received our bill with an automatic 18% gratuity on the bill and was charged for sausage I never received. The physical atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and would be a nice place to try drinks in the evening. It is unfortunate that the service and quality of food was so poor that I will not be going back. I enjoy trying local bars + restaurants and usually can give them the benefit of the doubt; the manager stated it was due to us being a large table, but we were the only table in The Industry by the time the food was coming out. Overall this experience can be summed up to poor management and quality control.

This place was great. Im from Alberta and like trying new places when on the road. I was very impressed. The staff was amazing, and the waygu burger was great. The owner, Tyler, was extremely nice, and his mom was an amazing person. I would most definitely come back. I can only assume any negative review from anyone would be unjust. Horrible experience.. we ordered puttanesca pasta being a vegetarian and they gave us chicken on side as it shows vegan option in their menu, we ate and realized that its not normal thing and found that it s a chicken. They break our religious, and nobody said sorry to us. It was very disappointing experience there.

Vegetarian options: We ordered vegetarian from the menu and all food were supposed to be vegetarian but they give us side order of chicken and they dont tell us ... they serve non veg without any consult .. two of my friends ate it without knowing it ... disgusting and the server never told sorry for that .. Worst disgusting wont recommend anyone ..!

Very strange experience at the bar/restaurant/club that isnt sure what it is. Poutine was way too salty, no Blue Cheese dressing which is wild for a place with wings. No blood orange soda for the drink menu which is an item that could be purchased at sleeping giant brewery 4 minute walk down the road, missed some sales there since we didnt order a different drink. Water was never refilled. Server was kind but just did the bare minimum. It seemed that the manager was training someone behind the bar but could have connected with the 3 total tables in the place. I cant imagine this place being successful without reevaluating customer experience and customer connection. Love to see the reclamation of industrial space for a medium, upscale community watering hole but somethings wrong here. Restaurant industry is a tough nut so Im sending my Good luck your way! Hope you can turn it around and find success.

Phenomenal chicken Caesar wrap! I Can t wait to try more of the menu! The lunch special was only $15- and was filling. U can t even get fast food less than $20 these days for a good meal!

This was our first visit, and we will be back again. We had a warm greeting from Danial, our server, who was great the whole night. I really liked the decor and what they have done with the place. We even really enjoyed their music playlist. Our drinks were excellent. I had a New York Sour and and my wife enjoyed the Dark and Stormy. For appetizers, I highly recommend the bacon wrapped steak bites. The entrees were very appealing and equally delicious.

Excellent! Went for lunch. Literally the best bacon cheeseburger I have had in forever. Grilled bun, real cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, homemade local beef patty, and good fries too. $15 special with a soda is a hellova deal! Wife had Silder sampler, which was made with the same level of care. Super tasty. She also had a grilled pineapple daquari that was smoked infused. Very nice flavour profile. Highly recommend. We will be back. Vegetarian options: Lots of great looking salads on the menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level accessibility.

Finally stepped foot into this gorgeous place for brunch. It was such a nice environment to sit and visit with my bestie over brunch. Love the atmosphere!! Would be awesome for a large private party as well!! We were told about the awesome weekday lunch specials by our waitress so decided to do a pickup order for work the following week. The team had the large order ready right on time and everyone enjoyed their lunch. LOTS of yummy food for a great price. We ll be back!

We are from out of town. We always like to try local places. My wife and I went in and sat down. Was not busy. Waited 15 minutes and did not get waited on. 2 other couples came in well after us and were waited on. We left. Very dissatisfied with this establishment

Our server was great! She was able to make recommendations. When my husband got his fish and chips meal he didn t realize it only had 1 piece of fish. The gentleman who brought it to our table was quick to get him another piece. The only thing was the cheesecake. It tasted wonderful but for a chocolate swirl cake there was very little chocolate in it. I was expecting more. We ll definitely be back!

Dissapointing! I had high hopes for this new(ish) restuarant but it fell soooo short. The atmosphere is very dark, so much so I had to let my eyes adjust from daytime to cavetime. I ordered a long island and it was pretty stiff, they were very heavy on the tequila. Then I ordered some cosmos, loved those. I ordered the carbonara, it was -3/10 after waiting at least 40 minutes for pasta. Soooooo bland it was unacceptable. The waitress was very kind and accomadating even though I felt horrible complaining all the way through. I think this place would be better off serving bar food/pizzas/etc. I might return but I wouldnt count on it. Also a somewhat awkward location for a restaurant but overall it was 3/10

My wife and I Were excited to try this new place in Thunder Bay menu look good and the decorum is really nice. Wait staff was terrible. Food was terrible. Came out cold. Seemed like the servers were too busy talking to their friends that were there to care about the food to come out. Our food was cold, and didnt taste that great.

Horrible food. Waited almost an hour and a half for food. It was busy and a table of 20 got their food at 45 min mark so we were understandable. However, no other table came in and it was still 35 more minutes until we got our 2 over priced chicken sandwiches. Dusty, dark brown, over cooked chicken thighs. Id guess it was 1.5 ounce size - generous estimate. Tasted like dirty fryer oil and no honey dill flavour. My friend got hot honey sandwich that lacked any flavour profile and was just cabbage and bun. It was after 9 and we were starving so tried to eat them but couldnt. Fries were good so had a few but we were so annoyed at this point. No quality assurance check. Server was busy with a lot of tables and he was kind so not trying to fault him. 3 behind the bar socializing. This is definitely a management issue. (I have many years of restaurant experience) Will not waste our time going back.

Nice atmosphere. Upbeat attentive server. Food took too long and was really not good. Grilled cheese sandwich contents consisted of a piece of shaved salami (guessing) and a micro-thin slice of cheese. The bread was curiously completely dehydrated. I showed the server how it turned to dust in my hands. He said he would have words with the kitchen but just returned to the table with the complete bill and a credit card machine and went silent and didn t make eye contact, nor thank us. Too bad because we had high hopes. Unfortunately, we will not be back. Hope things improve in the kitchen regarding speed and quality.

First time Ive been to the industry, place was very clean, staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I have celiac and they took my allergy seriously. I will definitely be back next time Im in Tbay Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free bun and gluten free options for people with celiac disease.

The name is fitting. Low lighting and dark colours gives it a cigar/whiskey bar vibe. The staff is friendly and fun. Only thing I wasnt happy with is they have been open 8 months and have not figured out the beer taps

I m a regular at the industry now. The food, cocktails, and service is always fantastic. Tyler, who I believe is the owner, is always making sure things are running smoothly and we re enjoying our evening. I also hear they have a great space for private events. Can t recommend this place enough!!

A new restaurant and bar in town! Small menu of food, but what I tried was good. The atmosphere was nice. I could see this place being packed on a weekend and having a good vibe. The place has a great drink selection and makes a good cocktail. Cocktail prices were reasonable for quality. Close to Sleepy Gs Brewery, so you can bar hop from Sleepy Gs pretty easily to here. Service was great, but there was a limited number of customers when we were there. Talking with the staff and it sounds like they have a great space beside the bar for private events, too! Lots of potential here! Tip the staff well! Our waitress was attending nursing school. Menus included in the review. Cons: - wine prices could be lower to be more in line with cocktail prices - website needs completion. No contact number to call to book yet at time of review

Really nice vibe. Staff were friendly and timely. Bar manager seemed really passionate about his craft. Great place for a date or meet up with friends. Food was tasty - I had their sweet potato fries. Paloma I had was an interest take on one but didn t quite work - grapefruit syrup plus slice of grapefruit at bottom with soda water on top. Hard to mix, so mostly just got one or the other. I ll try a different drink next time. Will definitely go back :)

Was recommended by a friend , but i don t plan on returning anytime soon . Wait staff were great at beginning , told us about their drink features ordered our drinks first round was great , ordered our food only to be told they have no pizza , for a newer restaurant you think they would have their full menu disappointment number one , food was lacking luster , mussels and the flight of sliders , which took a nose dive . Is what we ordered. Second drink was an old fashioned which was ordered just as our food was brought out and not received till our food was gone after we had to ask where it was . the old fashioned had many ice cubes and really diluted the drink , a bigger single cube or spear would have been a better choice .maybe it was an off day for the place . but sadly we will not recommend or return .

Great staff and great atmosphere

Our first time at the industry last night, the sign read seat yourself, we did it was approximately 6 pm the place was empty except for 1 table of 4. The young lady brought us water and a menu then a young man came over asked us to change tables, ok no problem. 15 min later we walked out. Keep in mind the place is empty except one table of four, approximately 15 minutes go by no one asked us if we wanted a drink. No one took our order or asked us if we had any questions about the menu which we did. Then 3 people walk in take a table and the service they received seemed pretty good while we were ignored so we walked out went to the Keg and had fantastic service. We had heard good things about the industry social club and we re looking forward to a new dining experience however, in my opinion, they should pay more attention to their customers. Not quite sure if we ll return, it won t be anytime soon!

From your first step inside the industrial building it is an enjoyable experience. Great service. An appetizer, four different meals, and dessert were all very tasty. Great addition to the TB scene.

Such a great new spot. Very cool atmosphere. The food was quite good. We went for lunch and it was the first day of a new menu so we had a few small hiccups but we will be back for sure. We had the honey dill chicken, Swiss mushroom burger and the margarita pizza. All were good. They probably have the best fries in town, they have some sort of coating on them.

Wow, what an experience! Our server (Lucas) was wonderful and personable, the food was the best I ve had out in a good while, and the drinks were creative and delicious! The slider plate was so worth it; definitely going back! The cool (Steven) even brought out a pepper grinder from the kitchen for my salad bc I wanted fresh ground!

Not a great place to go for lunch. I found it to be understaffed and overpriced. The plates are completely flat, so your food falls off the edge. The lighting takes adjusting to. Would not recommend for lunch. Has more of a club vibe. Parking: Lots of parking at chiropractor time.

Had a large group reservation that was made online, but they did not receive it. Had confirmation email to confirm. We were not able to put the tables together . Food and drinks were good. The service was friendly. Billing mistake made thay was not caught by the server for drinks on multiple peoples bills. The server was quick to remedy. Overall, satisfied and hope the next experience is better.

Food was delicious. Service was ok .Good atmosphere. But waiting an hour and a half for food not so great

Went a month ago and it was partially closed as there was a wedding rehearsal. We happily sat at the bar, but unfortunately had to witness the way the bartender spoke to the young female waitstaff - his impatience and the tone he took with them made us uncomfortable. We decided to give them another shot because the food was good. Knowing that they do events, we checked their Facebook to make sure they were open and that nothing was recently posted. When we got there and went in, we discovered that they were actually closed for an event. Next time we ll just skip it altogether.

Went last week and everything was dry and overcooked; even the wagyu burger was dry as a bone how i have no idea, asked for a chicken caesar and a small uncut chicken breast was just tossed on the side of the salad which was also like jerky; so dry. Got wings which were 20$ and received 4 uncut entire wings (flat and drumstick attached) which is 8 wings for 20$ Ive had better meals from gas stations travelling do not recommend

Didnt know this place existed until I saw them on the Novemburger list. Decided to stop by after the remembrance day service. The Novemburger was delicious, and the sweet potato fries were crispy. The manager saw I was in uniform and paid for my meal and all my drinks. The server/bartender Mylee managed the entire bar by herself efficiently and made sure my group was looked after. Will be back in the future.

Great food, nice place but the service is really slow. I went for lunch and it took nearly an hour to be served a few sandwiches and a burger and Id say 80% of the tables were empty, so it was not busy by any means. Not a good option if youre on a lunch break.

The best burger and fries Ive had. I rarely eat fries, maybe 5 or 6 with my meal if I have to have them. Luke, Im sure that was his name, sold all 3 of us on the fries. His description made me want to try them and I ate almost all of them. The wagyu novemburger was amazing, we could hardly move when we left. Perfect service and food.

Wow I would give this place a 0 if i could. The service was shocking horrible, never ever have I had a server be so rude. Brad was terrible. We planned on staying for a while and buying food and multiple rounds but left promtly. Would never ever go here again!

Bad, bad, bad. I cannot believe the service at this place. We were the ONLY table in the place (minus a few at the bar), well before closing might I add, and the server seemed almost annoyed to have to serve a table. I requested a different alcohol in my drink and instead was called boring .. as well as asking for a simple addition/modification to my drink and being told NOPE. This is a signature drink we don t make modifications! The server was almost shouting at us the entire time we were there, we quickly asked for our bill after receiving drinks because the service was horrendous. I have been a server for many years.. this is not how you treat customers!! Very sad considering I was quite excited to try this newer establishment. Will NOT be returning. I believe our servers name was Brad as per the chit at the end. Would not recommend to anyone and would rate a 0 if I could. Customer service is everything in these scenarios and you did not meet the mark industry.

Cool atmosphere and we had a really great server. Nachos were large portions and stocked full, really good. The other food we ordered wasnt edible but the server was lovely about it and made it right. A good place to go for fun cocktails and cool ambience. Parking: We went at 530 p.m. and there was no parking spots in the lot.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. As someone who works in food service, the way Brad treated my friends and I was unacceptable. for being the only table in there, I expected so much more. Brad judged us for having a deathly Gin allergy and made fun of the drink my friend ordered. We planed to get food and stay awhile but left after just one drink. So rude, and I will not be returning.

The food was average and took forever. However, the servers were on point and very attentive.

Such a warm and inviting atmosphere! My work Christmas party was held here and everything was so amazing! The food was a beautiful spread buffet style meal. The salads and roast were so great! The bar tenders were attentive and gave the same amount of energy from one person to the next all night long! The wait staff were very clean and attentive as well! I dont think we had 2 rounds of drinks before they would come around and clear empties away. Kept a very clean setting table. The bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. All around a very amazing evening! I definitely suggest anyone thinking of holding a group event that the industry social house is a very nice place to hold it! Thank you everyone!
