Dabrowski's Smoked Meats Ltd in Timmins

I've been patroning this establishment since moving to Timmins earlier this year because they do have excellent cuts of meat, but after today's events, I will no longer be returning. I stopped in to pick up two steaks and went to complete my purchase--tap did not accept so I inserted the card to make a payment which then went through. I got home and checked my balance and, of course, it went through twice. So I called Dabrowski's to inform them, and they told me to bring in a statement for a refund. I drove back there from South Porcupine, showed them in my online banking app on my phone that I was indeed charged twice, which the man and woman at the counter both acknowledged, but whoever their boss is (who I didn't even see) refused to refund me without a physical copy of the statement. They wanted me to drive to downtown, spend time at my bank, return with a physical copy of a statement indicating a mistake that they have already acknowledged they made, just to return my money to me that they should not have taken in the first place. Needless to say, I'm pretty pissed. I ended up having to file a dispute with my bank for the transaction because their customer service is non existent at this place. Keep your eyes on your wallets at this establishment folks.

Horrible service provided from Marc. I stayed on a wait list for 4 months and I PAID someone to bring my wild game meat down to timmins because I heard they had amazing Meat and amazing service, meanwhile I could have driven it myself elsewhere (which I will from now on). Marc never answered one of my texts messages throughout the process (for flavours and updates) and the customer service that HE provided has been very poor. The staff deserve so much more then the business Marc created. I asked for jalapeño cheddar and mild sausages and due to Marc’s negligence I did not get the jalapeño cheddar sausages that I asked for (and still paid top dollar). We payed for 2 trips to timmins to get the finished product meanwhile it should of been one however Marc’s negligence made us pay for 2 (as he did not “price the meat” for the staff to let it go). We had planned on getting the bundles that they offer, in fact we recommended them to friends and family! The sad part is I've stopped them from supporting this business, I will never recommended this business and I will no longer support this business. Again, the staff did an amazing job at fulfilling our needs however Marc as a “professional” has failed in very way.

First time going in and wow was I impressed! The fact that the staff took their time to answer all of my questions about availability of certain cuts/proteins was A1! Phenomenal place to shop! Definitely will be back!

Great food, great staff, great experience. They have a fantastic lunch menu which is sure to pleased. I usually stay away from Pulled Pork Sandwiches but absolutely love Dabrowski's version!
