Well overpriced 8$ for small icecream, instant diarrhea, not good. Visit kiddies corner if you want real icecream.

Walked in for an flavoured ice cream as I do not come here as I m out of town and was turned away 15mins before close.

Not worth the price, ice cream in a cone melts right when they hand it to you, chocolate dip is a rip off basically tastes like paper.

Best ice cream in town, no doubt. Oldies themed interior with vinyls and photos of musical artists from back in the day, such as Elvis.

5 nuggets, 1 small fry Nd gravy, 1 small poutin, and one milk shake. Costs close to 45$. Thats ridiculous..... Last visit before this one one scoop of Ice cream is 6$!!!!???? And it was freezer Burt..... Crunchy ice threw out...... Went back another time, got cotton candy ice cream and bubbles gum 3 VERY small scoops 12$!!!!???? What the heck..... 1 scoop looks small enough for a small child. On top of that those ice creams are the exact same ones I use to get from Walmart! Can get 2 full icecream containers for 10$ instead of 3 small scoops for 12$. Maybe would be worth it if they gave decent scoops.

Wow...I understand inflation, but I paid 18$+ for a clubhouse sandwich...not a platter, JUST the sandwich! Thats 4,50$/quarter! Great food but way too expensive!

Please keep up the amazing tradition of pine dairy bar you have excelled and elevated the business that I knew from a kid in the 80s. Please never sell like the rest look at the drastic quality and service that happened! youre the only good food left in Timmins. The cost is worth the quality. Kid-friendliness: Safe clean environment that is educational of a lost era of original rock and roll.

A lifetime worth of flavour selection! Soft serve, frozen yogurt, ice cream, milkshakes and a massive menu of hot food, will certainly overwhelm you... to the point you find youll just need to return to try more! Be sure to get there early in the day during the summer, as it gets busy quick!

They should clean their kitchen it s disgusting like seriously rat poop in the kitchen how has the health unit not said anything also the owner/manager treats their employees like garbage. Also over heard the health unit was 34° which is way to low, also been told they make there employees peel and cut potatoes by hand for hours on end. The health u it gagged when they smelt the room they peeled potatoes in. Don t recommend supporting this business!

The ice creams here are delicious. They are however not presented very well and you gonna start licking right away or risk a collapse. Knock off one simple star for this purpose but dont let this deter you

Pistachio and Rum&Butter milkshakes were amazing! Their portion for poutine (medium) was HUGE and tasted great, but we were really disappointed with the jumbo dog. It was roughly the same size as a regular and there wasnt anything that set it apart from a normal hotdog (beside the fact they cut it down the middle). PS: The hours posted on Google are not correct, took a picture so check it out just in case! Maybe its changed because summers over? But they really should have updated. We went and it was closed and had to come back the next day. Parking: Street Parking!

I went there and they been so unprofessional to the customer they have no credit card machine and only accepting the cash for many reason (cra -using the ATM machine to get commissions from atm transition or not paying the commission for processing fees for credit card company s ). they burger was good but they French fries was not top of that they charge 20$ extra for just drink I dont find they soft drink price on they menu and even when they get money they not issue the receipt In they menu mentioned texas burger is 11.99$ But I paid for two texas burger with French fries and 2 soft drink become 42$ What i think is not worth it

The banana split was spectacular. Soft serve come was fresh and a very large portion for a medium. Only issue is we waited almost 20 minutes for onion rings (kids were already done dessert) and they tasted fishy.

The food is pretty great really. The fact they are advertising that they won t be following public health rules in the middle of a pandemic is much less good. Sadly I will have to take my patronage to more law abiding places going forward.

Used to be a great place to get classic diner food. But now that they are publicly defying public health measures it is not somewhere I would feel safe taking my family.

Got a large milkshake. It was good. But for $7 I expected the best milkshake Ive ever had (it wasnt) - and their large would be a medium anywhere else.

Our experience there was not the best . Service was impatient! Over priced. The ice cream wasnt the best either. Although we didnt try there soft serve ice cream or shakes. We only tried there hard ice cream .

Delicious Food!!!

I went over the lunch hour, and was surprised to find that they charged you for the meal before you were served. They also charge you the fee for the debit machine, which is not something I saw advertised before hand. The receipt was not itemized, so I do not know if I was charged extra for cheese curds instead of gratted cheese. The portions were generous, and I was served rather quickly, but the ceasar chicken wrap was low on chicken, and the gracy in the poutine was so bland as to be tasteless. The waitress spent the majority of her time sitting at a table with customers that she appeared to know, and not once did anyone check on me during the meal.

High in prices, but thats what you pay for excellent tasting food, not to mention the plethora of desserts and the way they are presented. So colorful and sweet.

Its been years, and never was able to find deep fried pickles as good as theirs. Despite the fact that I was living in Ottawa too. So you know I HAD to come grab some, once we got into town. Cravings satisfied. Still the best~ order two more orders to go tehe Also their portions are huge ! We couldnt finish our 2 scooped ice creams, as delicious as they are.

Great selection of ice cream, and soft serve ice cream. Real Iced Cream. Not iced milk knock off junk. Fairly priced, CLEAN, and consistent. Good looking, and tasting burgers. Daily specials like 2-4-1 burger platters, hot hamburger, etc.

You want cheap food for a good price? Go elsewhere. Ive gone to Pine Dairy Bar for many years. I live nearby and its quick, cheap, and ok-ish tasting food the majority of the time. I went there one afternoon this week and the place was dead. Thats fine, its the middle of the afternoon - its not exactly the lunch rush. I ordered myself the daily special and sat down to eat. The owner comes in and checks the receipt, he decides I havent paid enough for my special and tells me I need to pay 3 dollars more. The thing is, I had already begun eating my meal. I was 10 bites into my order when I was told I had to pay more. I was furious at being nickle and dimed for something. Accidents happen but its not like it was my fault the person entering my order didnt charge me right. If I had got it to-go would he have looked at the video footage, tracked me down, and decided that I needed to pay him 3$ in the street or the next time I was there? This is just one of the many stories people have of Mr Owner being greedy or rude to his customers. Ask around town yourself. Its no wonder the place is dead.

Fast service, they didnt get my sons order right but we questioned it and my son said it was ok. After we left my son confirmed that he did ask for another flavour but it was my sons fault for not correcting the server.

Came here during a visit based on the reference of a friend. My colleague enjoyed his burger but I was less than pleased with the Black Forest Ham and Swiss panini. Generally paninis are served with focacia bread or better. My only option was white - not even brown bread. The ham slices were thin. Not worth the $8 especially when it didnt come with any sides. They also dont take credit cards, which was unfortunate since I was in town for business purposes. Otherwise, the atmosphere was great with an old school diner vibe. Service was quick.

Horrible! There gravy is to watery. Things like egg sandwiches are plain and flavorless. Bread is often dry. Owner slacks on buying equipment like potato tumbler. Pays the guy to peal potatoes by hand for hours wich could be painful. Instead of buying equipment he buys himself a new truck. The kitchen is often dirty and smelly. Health unit should do more inspections. It needs an actual chef. And committed employees. Not a bunch of students who dont care about there job. Might save money in Labour, but hes lost so much business already compared to the last owner! Mr levis

Asked staff what was gluten free. If beef or icecream had any filler. None of the staff had a clue what was in ANY of the food. Unheard of and illigal. We had to go else where that knew what was in the food. Questionable street meat place I assume. Would avoid of you have any alergies, staff is clueless.

Got a bacon cheese burger with Quebec poutine and ended up only being able to eat most of the poutine. Sent the burger to work with my hubby. Good portion sizes but I was just too full to eat it all! Friendly staff and yummy food.
