I try it every few months and the food is always a let down unfortunately. The strawberry pie is awesome though.

Clean,fast and good

Came for dinner on Nov 11 at 8.45 pm. Ordered food. The staff was talking neither English nor French but in their native language quite loudly. There was a black girl working in the kitchen and rest of the staff was in argument with her on some activities in the kitchen. The girl who passed me my order was reluctant to give me ketchup with fries. Napkins were given like gold. Very few sheets and I had to ask again for additional napkins.

Any time Ive ever been here, I have been asked to wait 4-5 minutes for something which always turns out to be about 15 or so minutes. Like, is everything cooked fresh to order? The wait is unreal for fast food.

Ordered chicken wings, wings were very dry and not meaty. Sauce wasnt anything exciting. I got the garlic parm sauce and hoped it would be good but I was disappointed. I wouldnt order them again.

Chicken was so fresh, crispy, hot, and good, and biscuits were good as usual. But fries and onion rings were not tasting fresh. They were not warm, neither crisp. The staff was nice and trying their best to cope with the rush of orders. But more than half an hour waiting period for fast food and half of the food still doesnt taste fresh and crisp is a little disappointing. Also, the inside temperature was so hot that it was difficult to enjoy the food while sitting inside the restaurant.

Love Popeyes, just not this trash location. Fries always old, cold, and stale. Chicken is never fresh at all. When you order an 8 pieces you expect 2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 wings, and 2 legs. Literally a chicken. How hard is that to do? Half the time we end up with 1 piece of white meat if were lucky. Owner should go visit Sudbury, or literally any other location, and figure out how to run a Popeyes properly. Stop being cheap AF and throw out the old stale fries and cold chicken that didnt sell. Dont pawn it off to me at full price because Im getting my food in-between lunch and dinner. Start cooking the appropriate amount for your expected sales throughout the day. Dont sell chicken left over from lunch 4 hours later in the afternoon.

This is a NEW restaurant Here in Timmins, ON, but, I am hearing good things, so, I am very much looking forward to trying something different!

This Popeyes is a joke. I have come here several times, people at drive thru dont understand what you ordered and you need to repeat yourself several times and then you have to wait on average 10 to 15 mins for order. Just happend again and I was the only person at the resturant. Really disappointed in this place.

Low quality and Chicken Pieces are smelling bad. And in this location they are reusing the same oil for long. Need quality check!

Do NOT ORDER FROM POPEYES ONLINE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED! I placed an order today and it just spun and spun saying placing your order but never actually completed it! Check my bank account and they took $21.47 from my account! Go to popeyes and ask for my mobile order, they say they never got an order. I tell them I can prove they took my money. Buddy says not their problem, it was online so you have to call online support. So I am like ok what is the number? Buddy says I dont know so I am like look you took my money, so either you refund me or give me my order. So he is like whats your order # well good God I already explained to him and another worker the damn thing just kept spinning and never gave me an order number but it took my money! Again I get the thats not our problem call support. I am like are you f g kidding me??? You took my money, wont refund or give me what I ordered, wont give me the number to call, and basically robbed me??? Im like you know that money comes to this store, rhe money the online stole is sent to this store, and there is only one Popeyes in Timmins! So why refuse me MY money or my order when I can prove you took my money!!! Even told him I would call the owner Lorne Feldman who my ex and I gave tons of business to over the 10 yrs he operated as a Roofer, likely millions of dollars. Buddy chuckles and says you do that like he thinks I am full of it. When it is absolute truth my ex spent likely over a million dollars at Feldmans over the years!!! I hope Lorne realizes how bad for business it is to have staff that treat customers this way when they can PROVE they were charged!! The staff should at the bare minimum be able to give you an actual support number and not just laugh in your face that you were robbed by the stores online ordering. Absolutely discusting to do this to customers. The guy was absolutely rude and unhelpful. I loved Popeyes but after this experience I WILL NEVER EVER BUY A DAMNED THING FROM THERE EVER AGAIN. THEIVES!!!!!!!! Needless to say I left very angry, enough so that I had to pull over into the A&W parking lot because I was so upset I broke down crying. I am not rich, and to have my. money stolen by a restaurant you should be able to trust is not right! Not right to put a customer through this, I searched and searched for a support number...found one call it and guess what? No one answered and the message tells you to go to a web address for support...but uts in the states so it wont even let you chat with a support person cause you need to input a ZIP code not a postal code. Ffs...so I am out $21.47 and no one is eating tonight. Thanks to Popeyes stealing my money. And the horrific staff that refused to make it right. Even KFC wouldnt do this, they would of given you the order once you showed you were charged. Now I.have to spend countless time trying to get someone to help me get my money back. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS KIND OF STRESS OR HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET THEIR MONEY BACK. HORRIFIC NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Its really good but their napkins are very greasy and the gravy isnt horrible but theres a lot of spices but its really good with the biscuits

Parking lot is small, bathrooms were clean, staff was very pleasant, pop area was cleaner than most fast food, tables were not clean ( someone could have just left. Was quite busy) food was hot and prices were comparable to other fast food. Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly

Worst experience drive thru ever, had to repeat my order 6 times at the microphone, and had to repeat 3 time at the window. Couldn t get our order right at all, having to repeat ourselves multiple times was extremely frustrating. The only good service is the food itself, customer service needs a lot of work. We did end up feeling extremely ill after eating here.

Quality of food is great chicken is so fresh I really like the chicken sandwiches, services are very satisfying one of the best and affordable restaurant in timmins. And atmosphere of this place is amazing .

I ordered two combo packs.one is goast pepper chicken sandwich and another one is 5pc chicken tender. Sandwich was good, but the chicken tenders taste and smell was bad like using ROTTEN CHICKEN.

Are you serving chicken or fish? My wife and I both got a 5pc tender platter, ALL 10 pieces of chicken tasted like fish. My wife and I absolutely HATE fish. When phoning to let them know and ask for a replacement meal next time we are in Timmins, I am told by the on-shift manager Sanjay that they do not put the chicken in the same fryer. I told him, well it obviously happened because we couldn t even eat our meals. He then went on continuing to try and say they don t put the chicken into the fryer. Not wanting to take accountability for it. He did not even want to compensate me with free tenders the next visit. I had to continue to tell him that it TASTES LIKE FISH. NOT CHICKEN. That is NOT acceptable. Whatsoever. We have been to this location before and the chicken tasted fine. I am also a cook and I can tell you right now. It was cooked in the same fryer as the fish. That is not only against food safe regulations, but you could have also sent some people to the hospital who have sea food allergies.

The chicken is mediocre, at best. The breading had a strange sour taste to it. Comparing the tenders to Chesters, the chicken pieces were much smaller and had a lot of breading that, as mentioned, had a sour smell/taste to it. The chicken was also undercooked, compared to the rest of the chains. Great atmosphere, however. The wait was 12 minutes for a 5 piece chicken tender box.

I wait almost 30 mins in drive thru for my food. There are only 2 cars ahead of me. Food was amazing but the service is terrible.. I was going to my work and I reached late and I almost lose my Client because of that. I advise you to please train the employees because accordingly there is not more than 180 second waiting. Real Disappointment and the man who was ahead of me still waiting for his food and I can see him feeling so frustrated and done with the service.

When they first opened, the quality was 5 stars! Now it has plummeted to the bottom of the fast food chain in town. Food is always soggy, quality of the vegetables on the sandwiches seemed like they were left out for days. Seems to be an issue with this specific location as others have always been good. Needs quality control ASAP

Food is terrible. Onion rings were spicy and I didn t ask for spice so obviously some cross contamination. My mild chicken was soggy in grease and just gross. They managed not to mess up the tea biscuit good job on that. Never going back.

Prices are very comparable to other fast food places but you get more value for your dollar here. The chicken sandwiches are made from actual chicken pieces and not some highly processed patty, so it has some good substance to it. A normal person should easily feel satisfied with a combo. Fries are also very tasty.

I ordered a 3pc meal (dark) (Mild) with spicy fries. Chicken was amazing, fries were hot and fresh. It was busy and I only waited 10 Min. Great Job on a successful opening !!

Chicken was OK, better than KFC. We did not get the chicken sandwich we ordered nor did we get a recipt. Trying to call is like trying to get ahold of vet taxi.... not happening. Not impressed.

Great clean place, unfortunately they closed right at 10 for dine in so I had to go through the drive thru. Their original chicken sandwich for me was pretty fresh, I loved it. I also had their Onion Rings and Mac and Cheese which was over the food amazing! Great start for a Popeyes to finally be in Timmins, I m happy.

Went there twice so far and each time they have forgotten countless things in my meal and wouldn t forget to mention their raw chicken nuggets mmm extra protein I guess

The food itself was very good! However when we went we ordered a 3 pcs combo and an original sandwich combo. There was no where to sit because there was garbage everywhere and the table were gross had to clean our own off. When the food was ready they didn t even give us the 3 pcs and when I asked them about it they took 10 minutes debating with me wether or not I payed for it finally they gave it to us and it was only two not three then they got mad that we wanted our chicken and it wasn t even the right one it was spicy not mild. Kinda disappointed boohoooo

Best chicken in town by far!! Pricing is great ! Parking: Really tight getting in and out when drive thru is busy and theres limited room in the lot but also out of their control due to the entire lots set up. But food is great!

Chicken is chicken. Onion rings are lousy, as per other reviews. Fries are quite good. My root beer fountain drink had no root beer, only fizzy, yucky water. This I found out when we got home. Spicy chicken sandwich not so good. All in all, not such a good experience. We spent too much. Actually could not buy a sandwich by itself. Parking: Lots of hype, fast food is fast food.
