Its a little old property which needs renovation at places. Staff was good, and the location is bang on the street with so many eating joints and convenience store.

Pas emporté de nouvelle serviettes, débarbouillettes, pas vider poubelle etc. Air climatisé était pas assez forte pour fournir et il ne fesait pas chaud. Lascenseur ne fonctionne pas bien. Par contre déjeuner très bon. Même si ils ont manqué doufs le dimanche. Bon service au déjeuner.

Room 335 has bed bugs , woke up itchy and with welts, we also found black hair in the sheets. There was a man trying to get into rooms in the middle of the night. Where is the security and housekeepers for this place. Its very rundown!!!!

Really falling into disrepair since I was there a few years ago. Cheaper than the other hotels for a reason. Rooms were reasonably clean.

Super hard to find, no clear markings on how to even get into the hotel. Area is super sketchy and the room is clean but the furniture is all scratched up. I didnt feel safe so I ended up leaving Rooms

I was honestly baffled at the state of the room we had. Wallpaper falling apart, full of bugs and flies and dirty. No cover was on the duvet, there was stains on the walls and lamps, the roof was collapsing by the windows. The toilet was not installed securely and the faucet in the bath leaked all over the place. There was also dirt and debris on the floor in the bathroom and in the carpet which probably hasnt been vaccumed in what seemed weeks or months. There was also a party next to my room that kept me up past 1am... This has been the worst hotel experience Ive had in Timmins.

They cancelled me without warning a month prior. And just look at the other reviews. I am NOT booking with them. Genuinely, they wont even answer emails and questions. Do NOT book this place.

Close to all amenities very convenient place to rest

Woke up to a dog fight at 1:30 am and lasted about an hour with people hollering at the top of their lungs like Pavarotti. I woke up this morning with red welts/ bites all over my arms. my ear, and my legs. Shook a bedbug off my hair before showering and there it laid comfortably in the tub. I had to say something. This place needs to get rid of bed bugs asap! Nice people but they require a health and safety inspection by qualified and certified professionals.

The hotel is smack in the middle of Timmins. 5 minutes to get anywhere. Rooms are great, staff friendly. Unfortunately this hotel is also central to crack heads and thieves and I knew that before booking. The price was right and took precautions by parking in the parking garage in front of security camera. Long story short, my truck was broken into 6 months and police still not able to close report. Rooms: Basic rooms, decent size, clean, microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, and iron and board included. Nearby activities: Dont know about activities other than music festival also walking distance, but will have to co-ordinate that. Walkability: Walking distance to theaters, restaurants, shopping outlets.

Lost my all belongings from Hotel parking from my car. Hotel should have security person in parking. Staff is not providing correct information for everything. Room are good but they are not providing enough hot water. Water ahould be hot. Not recommand anyone for this. This ia not a safe location. Hotel staffs are not reemberaing my lost. Safety: Parking is not safe.

Hotel isn t horrible, but if you can stay somewhere else I would recommend doing so. We booked this room thinking it was in a decent area and that it was a decent hotel The area is not ideal or decent by any means. There are homeless people sleeping in the garage, water/ice in the stairway, currently 1 elevator down.. in order to get to the elevator you have to walk in the horrible stairway that seems like a safety hazard. The pillows even sucked. I never leave reviews but feel this needs to be known. I am hopeful that they will be making some improvements but we will never be booking here again.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room appeared to have been recently rennovated and everything was in good order. Front desk customer service was very good. In-terms of parking, the garage did not look like it was in the best condition. The area had a lot of construction happening but it will hopefully be completed soon.

An okay place to pass the night for someone on a trip. Security might be a concern; I found a couple of guys in the parkade smoking who obviously were not guests. I had the concern guests cars could be vandalized or broken into. Improving the security around the parking area to limit access to unwanted elements would give customers some level of comfort.

We booked through Hotwire which classified this as a 3-star. Not. even. close. There were cigarette butts, garbage and food in the lobby and hallways. Room seemed clean but based on how filthy everything else was, it seemed questionable. The building itself is very run down. There is a significant homeless population loitering around the hotel and in the parking garage. The staff could well be nice but we werent comfortable staying here. If you have other options, take them. No refund from Hotwire either so guess im done with them as well!

The staffs were very kind and Friendly especially, Joanne and Nathalie they were amazing. Me and my friends planned to stay in the hotel for two days and because of our flight cancellation, we have to extend our stay for two more weeks. During our entire stay, the staff Joanne and Nathalie have always made sure we are comfortable, they were so friendly and helpful. I have stayed in various hotels across Canada and based on that, I would give 5 stars to these two people for their hospitality. Me and my friends has decided to stay in senator every time when we come to Timmins

Unfortunately this hotel is not well maintained. Room was not clean. No room service or restaurant on Sundays. Entrance not welcoming outside. Underground parking is a bit scary. Staff were friendly although no offer of refund for dirty linen etc.

It was ok.. They definitely could use a more secure parking garage. We witnessed several situations of drug use and vagrancy. We didnt feel the safest. The rooms were ok. More than likely will spend a little more next time for better accommodations when we are in the Timmins area

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. I ve stayed in some not so nice places as my job takes me to some remote northern towns but this place is by far the worst I ve stayed at. The room had so much built up dirt around the beds I could tell it hadn t been really cleaned. My dog was eating dry macaroni noodles that were on the ground another sign it wasn t clean. The bed sheets were stained and looked as if they were just made and never washed. The location and parking are horrible and I m not surprised there s a sign on the front desk that they ve had peoples vehicles broken into in the parking garage. Overall a completely horrible place and I ll never go for the deals offered online.

Horrible experience, go to any other hotel in Timmins. I loved our stay at the Super8, they have a 5 star hotel compared to the Senetor. Last night, I arrived and the hotel announced they didn t even have running water. They told me I couldn t be refunded and had to stay the night in a crusty room, barely cleaned and with a broken bed frame. They also didn t offer any working wifi. This morning, water was suddenly working but came out brown and there wasn t any hot water, just two sides of freezing cold options. Never book this hotel. I ll still be paying for a second night here but will that the lost and go to Super8 because they won t refund me. The continental breakfast was subpar and you cannot serve yourself. A server allows only one plate and insures you only have a small plate to make sure you don t eat to much of their food. Didn t feel safe. Didn t feel clean. Didn t feel like a hotel. NEVER AGAIN!

Toxic insulation. Toxic insulation is everywhere in the parking garage and it is absolutely disgusting that immediate action is not taken where guests park. Pink toxic insulation can cause lung damage when breathed in and it is horrid that nothing was done about this. Secondly, the entire other half of the hotel is unused and it had taken my mother and I over twenty minutes to figure out where the new rooms are rather than posting a sign where the rooms already are instead. Whoever is managing this Hotel needs to take action and remove the insulation which is toxic and is quite literally begging for either workers comp, or a lawsuit of hazardous material.

Edit to add: I was never contacted about my complaints. Stay away!!! The parking garage was falling apart and was filthy. The front desk clerk had to come let us in because of the tight security. When checking in I asked if this was a safe area. I was then told to remove everything from the inside of my car and that cars have been broken into just for a water bottle. The room was clean but that was the only plus. The negative are as follows ceiling was chipping away, no cold water, toilet wouldn t flush properly, and the elevators didn t work, pool was not open, and desperately needed renovations twice over.

Okay and justified with rate card.

Looks great online but in person is extremely outdated. Horrible area with a ton of homeless people. 1 ply toilet paper, outdated rooms and an AC from what looks like the 80s. Rooms had music and parties going until 4am and staff didn t seem to care. Service was ok. Signs posted about hourly rates, showing ID and deposits. They know the clientele is most likely to ruin something. Parking is a disaster. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the lady at the front desk was extremely polite. Avoid this hotel if possible.

Don t visit this hotel! The staff was nice, but thats about it. Very outdated hotel, filthy, every floor was sticky, every room/ area stunk, elevator smelled like homeless people, beds were terrible, the toiler paper was see through and the breakfast felt like we were in a soup kitchen.

The hotel is in a good location. The staff and management are good in my interactions. Online pictures dont really speak to the current condition of the hotel. Its outdated and run down. The management team maybe working on improving the hotel. Comment made by other reviewers on 1ply-toilet paper and run down rooms are true. Apart from the structure of the hotel; the Furniture, bedding, lights and tv are in current condition. The place was not horrible, but will I return for the same standard cost, I would pass.

Good as it can be

The complimentary breakfast was good. Managed by a great team that was able to handle a steady volume of patrons and still serve each with a we ll get it for you-have a seat approach. Impressive ! Rooms : 4/5

The hosts were great!! Breakfast was super welcoming and there was a great spread. We didn t have time to eat, but the ladies were insistent on us taking something for the road; and we re super thoughtful. In the process of renovating the place. Rooms were clean, a little outdated but bed was comfortable. Only downfall we found was the residence of timmins when you go outside at night. Unfortunately that s not something that can be controlled.

Gonna rate this hotel a 0, very racist towards first nation indigenous people. I asked to switch rooms because our bath tub was filthy and it would not drain. I kept asking to switch us to a room that has a working bath tub because I have kids and they still did not listen and never switched us room. They took advantage of my family and tried to charge us a whole weeks stay when we deicded to move to another hotel. Theyre scammers. They also charge 24 dollars to pull out their ATM.

We have been visiting from Australia and been on the road for over seven weeks. This was by far the best hotel we have stayed at. The room was amazing. Huge, clean and quiet being on the sixth floor. The roadworks made entry difficult but once in and registered all was good. They included a hot breakfast which is also a first. The price was much lower than some lousy hotels we have been at.

Lady at the front counter was really rude and unprofessional

The worst hotel in town, very gross, breaking in pieces, rooms are dirty, bed sheets and pillow still have hair in them, parking garage is falling apart, staff super rude to you. If you park your car in dont even think of moving it out from 11-6 staff will refuse to open there gate that they put for no reason. There is a reason why this hotel is the cheapest in town even the bon air is better than this place. Joanne the morning front desk girl doesnt care about anything and when you bring a problem up she finds every excuse possible, bugs in room oh its almost winter, Mold in room it wasnt there before you checked in, no soap in room housekeeping do there best like come on she is absolutely the worst and does not do anything to help, if you have a complaint walk away for a minute and you will hear her laugh and talk about it thinking you aint around. There is a reason why every other hotel is full and they can barely get 6 rooms a night. Not to mention that they cant even repair rooms or even change the fact they used to be a days inn on there signs its everywhere. Anyways in general do yourself a favour from getting a headache or being sick and dirty and book somewhere else even sleep in your car is better choice then this place. All the great reviews are not really people who stayed there they are people the management knows I even heard the front desk people asking there friends to do 5 star reviews. Health unit needs to go in here and inspect everything they would be shut down, dirty rooms, bugs everywhere Mold water damage, dirty bathrooms broken bathtubs gross shower heads and so much more let the pictures tell you how bad it is this is from 4 different rooms. Very disappointed in my recent visit, come back to my room after work and all my belongings were gone, they packed my stuff and was down in the lobby, if they made a phone call there would of been no problem, they through out my personal soap I bring my toothbrush, q-tips ect.. I still needed a place to stay that night and they still charged me, used to stay there quite often but lost a customer and for a dated place they should have more care about people and there belongings

I stayed there one night, worst night ever. When we first walked in, everything seemed in order & clean. I walked into the washroom, opened the shower curtain and I see the biggest clump of black hair. Im a blonde by the way!! And we had just walked in. It was late at night we just needed a place to stay, I didnt bother getting any other room if this room is that filthy i expect theyre all like this. Black hair on the ground as well and counter. I go to lay down and then realize there is BLOOD on the bed im laying on almost vomited everywhere i was so exhausted and disgusted. Luckily i got 2 beds so i end up going into the other. The next morning i do a quick check to make sure we didnt forget anything & thats when i see all the trash underneath the beds from the previous people. I show the front desk clerk all the photos he tells me to email them. I email all the photos and explain my dissapointment considering being a hotel cleanliness is the most important aspect. They tell me they will compensate but dont tell me what, i obviously requested a refund. They havent emailed me back since. Customer service is awful, cleaning services awful, dont bother wasting your money or precious vacation time at this establishment.

Great room with a good breakfast during Covid pandemic

I stayed for work and had a great time at the Senator, clean room, comfortable bed, great breakfast, friendly staff, special mention to Natalie at front desk and The breakfast lady both went above and beyond to look after me and fellow cast and crew. Easy parking and secure elevator access were a plus

The service is hit or miss. When the ladiss who helped me where amazing but the one dude was super rude and charged an old card that was on file.without my consent. Weird. Shania Twain room is awesome. Water pressure is amazing.

Smooth check in, even though I came early. Decent sized room which was fairly clean. Upon check out I had asked the front test to call a cab, it arrived by the time I picked up my luggage and headed towards the lobby entrance. I arrived at the airport and realized I had left my airpods in the room. Arsalan was quick to check and quick to pick up the phone each time I called. I was up on the fourth floor too. I most certainly did come back for the electronic and he was superb throughout. Overall great guest services!

My room was very tired. The ventilation hole in the bathroom (see attached pic) had about half an inch of accumulated dust and dirt (the last time Id seen something that gross was at my brother-in-laws, but thats a different story). Impossible to take a bath (no plug). Rust here and there. The bed was good though, and I had no issue with the staff.

Huge room but a/c not really working well, and has seen better days (broken fan flaps etc). Breakfast included is served to you in a paper carton style plate. You get a choice of what is available: scrambled eggs, sausage, hash brown, apple or orange juice and a yogurt. Its plated up for you while you stand in line waiting even before you sit down. Why not real plates and cutlery? Why not allow guests to get own...even if its table by table? I realize its included but for a hotel of this stature it all seems very...cheap. And how about putting a locking door on the garage entrance? Its very sketchy when various local drug addicts are wandering in the underground garage. I guess the glory days of a posh hotel are gone, now. Sad to see such a landmark business so shabby.

If 0 was an option that s what is would be. Go to the Senator and get your vehicle broken into in there underground parking. Still charged full rate when you leave early because of said occurrence and safety. But remember, there were signs (there were not) that said they weren t responsible! Senator, first Mining Show in 2 years, and this is what we get. Do better! Your business relys on it!

Check in was good..Beds were comfy that is all the good I can say about this place. There was long black hair in the tub and wraped up in the towel and face cloth. No cold water from bathroom sink..Big yellow discusting stains on the sheet under my pillow and on the comforter. I address these concerns while there and no one replies. I will never stay there again a t over $200 bucks a night you would expect a little more then what we got it..DISCUSTING

Been here a few times, older building but the rooms we have been in are well maintained and kept clean.

Showed up at the hotel, had to park in a dark sketchy underground parking with random sketchy people hanging out. Signs saying about theft in your car. Doors are broken for the underground parking. Stained carpets and not very nice staff. Stay away!!!

TV didnt work, leaky air con (which I found out when I walked on the carpet.) But bed was comfortable.

Cancelled my stay because the hotel parking area was super sketchy and we were not comfortable staying there. I cant comment on the rooms because we didnt proceed and went to a different hotel. I called in advance to check to see how the parking was and was told its fine but its not.

Good: The staff is very personable, polite, and helpful; if you need anything theyre quick to jump in and assist. The rooms are spacious and clean. Not so good: The parking garage is sketchy AF. There is no restaurant on site despite what the website says, and the wifi wont let you connect for more than few seconds before making you reconnect. Impossible to get any work done.

I didn t pay the lowest price possible to stay at the ritz. It wasn t the most fancy but I sure did enjoy a cozy sleep in a king size bed and had a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The check in staff was super friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again.

The checking in was smooth, front desk was very professional and friendly. room was very clean and the location was close to everything. Only issue was in the parking lot, always had weird people hanging around , found out someone slept in my car .Dont know how they got in . Dont leave anything in the vehicle.

Terrible customer service. I reserved a king room and was given two queens without being told, I just had to discover it on my own. I was told there was nothing that could be done and no other room available which I find hard to believe on a Wednesday night. Parking garage is terrible and you could not access the elevator but had to walk the stairs to get back to the lobby to then get to your room . Not very safe when they are warning you at the front desk about the bad neighborhood and crimes . The room is dirty and smells and the toilet runs non stop. The rating on hotwire does not reflect this actual hotels amenities and clearly they are offering rooms they cannot provide. Will not be back and will not be recommending this place for sure!! Stay away !!

The rooms themselves are very nice, but I stayed here for four nights and my vehicle was broken into on the first and last night, their security cameras dont work and the thieves know it, stay somewhere else in town until they sort this out or you might end up needing to replace a broken window.

The parking garage alone was a non-starter. It is in abmysal shape and looks like a hangout for homeless. Feces on the garage floor. I asked to park in front and was allowed to. If you can find somewhere else DO IT. The hotel has seen better days the rooms were fine but could do with a face lift. The front desk clerk was new but she was accommodating. I gave it 3 stars but it would be a 1 or 2 if it wasnt for the nice front desk clerk

Hotel is ok..my vegicle was broken into and the front desk receptionist response was to call the Timmins Police. No concern that a criminal activity occurred on their property. I will not be returning to this location again.

I would give this place 0/5 stars if I could we were a bit scared to stay here, a lot of sketchy people walking around and in the parking garage. Did not feel safe at all. As previous reviews said, the security cameras in the parking area do not work. We also had a hard time looking for the entrance. The building looks very run down. We were unable to get a refund. Do not stay at this hotel!

We came to timmins for medical reasons when entering parking garage we noticed few homeless which is fine but we parked and saw a man scoping out cars for 15min and had something in his hand to open them I was with my son his pregnant gf and 4 yrs old son. We were nervous to get out I called front desk and she called police they were fast and arrest the man as the night progressed I am asmoker and avoided parking garage I was approached multiple times for money and witnessed another sketchy man get violent where another guest called police as a family I would not recommend this hotel we were told by police here are breaking nightly into cars I realize its not hotel fault but there can be more effort made for the parking garage security aswell as locking the garage and having card access possiably the camera do not work in the gargae aswell then in the morning waking uo witnessed cips in front lobby woth more homelss people ts unfortunate this happens with the area hotel is located but this will discourage guest from not coming we will not be staying here ever again they need to protect guest better

The hotel as such is correct but you must not forget to lock the vehicles in the underground parking lot, it is full of crack heads and pay the fees!!

My brother got stuck in a snow storm on his way to Timmins. Unfortunately he could not stay in his room we booked. While I understand it was last minute to cancel, it blows my mind that he could not be refunded under such circumstances.

Quiet, good bed and pillows, but man, does it need an overhaul.

My fiancé stayed there for ONE NIGHT. He came back with bed bugs. Luckily I found only one on me and we put everything in the wash and disinfected everything. Be careful.

This hotel has seen better days but still an okay stay especially for the $. Breakfasts were good. Staff were amazing, super friendly. Nice lobby. The attached restaurant was closed. The parking garage was open but monitored (concierge was waiting and holding the door when we parked). Rooms were clean, bed comfy, but hands down, the worst hard pillows. Weirdly, you get hot water from the cold taps (you have to run them about 15 mins to get cold). Its not in the best section of an already depressed town but for reference the holiday Inn was kitty corner for 2x the price. Saw a bald eagle right out front. All in all, not a bad stay. The owner needs to invest some money and the excellent staff will do the rest. I read other reviews and the pillows and hot water have been an issue for 3years. Your customers are telling you...listen to them. Tbf, our stay was during stage 3 so things were more reserved than usual and I did see upgrades happening around the hotel. I would stay again but bring my own pillow lol. It was a good base to adventure from.

The hotel is old, but clean, the location in the middle of the city is strategic, the downside is that the view is not beautiful.. The value for money is okay, but I expected better when I booked! Im giving it a 4 star because the price was quite low and the hotel was clean. The value for money is correct!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in the King suite on the 4th floor, room was beautiful and the views were amazing. Breakfast was great. Amazing value, would definitely stay here again!

Excellent service and very clean rooms! Beds are comfy and a great breakfast is included. The lady serving the breakfast was super sweet.

Room was cold when we got in late at night. Other then having to turn the heat on the staff were accommodating. Complimentary breakfast wasnt the greatest but the eggs were decent. The 4* is for the friendly staff.

The staff are disrespectful and demeaning to me as a person and I didn t check in because the staff insinuated that I would steal something just because of what I was wearing and the colour of my skin I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone based off this experience

Ill admit I was sceptical when arriving at this hotel because I had read reviews. Other than the odd way getting from our car to the lobby, and had been looking forward to having a dinner at the jewel of the north restaurant which isnt opened, there are more positives than negatives. Staff at front desk and check in was great. Rooms were clean and the heater works. As well, zero problems with the water which worried me the most because it seemed most said the taps didnt work. Lots of hot water coming out of the right tap. Person at breakfast was very nice and the hot breakfast was above my expectations for this hotel. Scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns, beans and hot coffee. Overall, I give this place a 4/5. Only downside is getting from underground parking to lobby and major disappointment that the restaurant was closed. We were very happy to find other restaurants who wanted our money.

Stayed in November. Hotel was very understaffed. Room was clean and the bed was comfy but the microwave wasnt cleaned; it was full of pizza sauce or something. Cold water taps were warm, hot water taps were crazy hot. Washroom fan had a lot of dust stuck in it. Walls are paper thin! Hope you dont have anyone staying next door who likes to party! Oh, and the pool doesnt exist & no matter what time of day it is, couldnt get into the gym so Im guessing it doesnt exist either

Mother and child were placed in front of the 24hr gym. House keeping started at 7am. I was sent on a wild goose chase for ice. No one who works here seems to know where the ice machine is located. Pet friendly facilities that charges $30/night for a pet should provide at least a bowl for water, a place to take my pet to use the washroom and hey for $30/night they should definitely have their own bed/blanket! I wouldnt travel with my dog if I didnt have too. If you are a pet friendly hotel, include it in the price in the room similar to the rest of Ontario! Ive stayed in better hotels all over Ontario and never been charged for my dog. This information should be posted with prices at the very least! They also double charged me! When I called to ask about it, they told me I was wrong. Finally, I got a call back and I was informed they had made a mistake. Im still waiting for the charges to be reversed 4days later. Something about Timmins and the surrounding area, they like to gouge you where ever they can! They definitely saw me coming... hahaaa

Nice stay. Nice room. Awesome breakfast. Terrible decision making by management. You can be on your death bed but you still get charged because you didnt call 24 hrs ahead. Very nice.

Nice and clean and respectable place

Have always stayed at the Senator in the past and always had a good experience. This time my visit started in a Thursday, walked in and tried to open the door to the elevator from the parking garage and the handle cane off in my hand. Went and tried the stairs only to have my cards not working to get anywhere into the building so did the long trek down the street to the main lobby. Cards got fixed and front service (Joanne) was very apologetic! Brushed my teeth only to have the sink fill up and not drain. Checked out the next morning. Sunday night checked back in. Too tired to do much! Had a great sleep. Woke up in the AM to shower, only to find that the shower spewed nothing but extremely hot water and the drain was clogged! Called the front desk to be offered a key to shower in the gym. That was not happening! Finally got a key to the room across from me after I had to go get it from the front lobby. Returned to my room to gather my things to shower to find out my key to my room had been deactivated. No problem, hubby was still inside and he let me in. Got my things only to find out that the key to the room across didn t work! Needless to say it was at that point that I completely lost it! No discount on the room was offered because apparently my room was already discounted because I had done a two night stay! Will not be using the Senator if I travel to Timmins again!

Stay was absolutely amazing. Staff was super friendly and filled our stay with laughter and smiles, room was super clean and the vie was amazing and our breakfast was nicely packed so we can have it in our room because of covid! Highly recommend

Nice and cool

I checked in today to a dirty room, was woken up this evening around 8pm to the room next door with loud music. I would give this 0 stars if there was an option, however, the guest service agent was extremely polite and moved us to a quiet room only to find out there was no hand towels, face cloths and no shower curtain. I paid for 8 days worth of stay and I am extremely unimpressed. Beware when staying at this hotel. Make sure your patience are in check because youre going to need them for sure.

Timmins City Center

The first room hadnt been cleaned. Got upgraded but that room had no heat. Finally got a decent room and an offer of chocolate bar from the commissary for the inconvenience

Its a nice place very comfortable beds. They have parking spaces 3 floors. Nice service. You wont be disappointed. Enjoy your stay. I sure did.

Not a very good stay this time. Had to stand in water up to my ankles when showering. When I complained there was no maintenance staff on duty over the weekend. Hot water coming out of the cold water tap in the sink. Wet carpet around the window leaking in from the roof.

A member of the staff was very rude, racist kinda.

The rooms are very clean and quiet non smoking as well which is nice, fridge provided good size TV bathroom had nice size tub, staff i friendly always smiling , parking was very difficult if you have a large truck

I was in town for a conference and I understand that means hotels charge more but these rates were really high. What made it worse is the condition of the rooms, for the nightly rate they want to charge they need to clean up the rooms. It s a window air conditioner with insulation sticking out everywhere and blowing right beside the desk I was trying to work at. The towels are thin, the paint is chipping off the bathroom doors. I was in the east wing and was told the elevator was broke so had to either take two flights of stairs with my suitcase or one elevator, walk to the east wing on that floor and then take one flight with my suitcase...no one offered to help carry my bag since their elevator wasn t working. Just very disappointing, if you want to charge the rates step up your game so it s not just gouging.

My overnight stay was good. Check-in was easy and the front desk staff very friendly and welcoming. The front desk followed up an hour later to ensure everything was ok which was appreciated. They also were very accommodating and allowed me a late checkout. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bathroom clean and filled with exactly what you require for an overnight stay. The TV and A/C - heating unit worked well with no surprises. But the hotel feels and appears dated and does not have the vibe it most likely had at one time. And unfortunately, the amenities advertised on Expedia: Bar, restaurant, pool table were closed (and appeared to be for quite some time) which was disappointing. I would stay again as my room was perfect for an overnight stay BUT im not sure this is the place for a longer term stay.

Good location and in total it was a ok experience. The hotel building is a bit old.

Went for the annual Halloween party, had a blast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Did not spend the night in the rooms.

it was okay they had bugs in the carpets which i was informed in the summer they get bettles .. our check out time said 12 on confirmation and room seevice was rude and unprofessional knocking on door stating it was 11

Loved the hotel. Location is great. Everything about this place is great, room, food, service, staff etc. Enjoyed breakfast buffet. Lots of options for Lunch and dinner and great taste.

Beautiful place

BEWARE of this place, I booked this hotel for one of my co-workers because it looked good online, when he got in the room there was blood on the sheets under the covers, and Were not talking 2-3 drops were talking 30-50 big drops, they then moved him to a suite with NO HEAT, then at 4:30 am the fire alarm was going off for 3 hours, so needless to say NOT A GOOD PLACE to stay, and to top it all off they wouldn t refund any money and just said that those things happen. Very poor service. Think twice before you give your credit card info to this hotel. Its 2 times in a row they charged me double. You have to struggle to get the manager on line to talk to about the issue.
