Loved the food! This quality would stand up in a big city and here we are in Timmins. Menu includes many Indian standard dishes plus some less common. Portions are generous with lots of delicious sauce. A quiet night and I was the only white dude in the place - also a sign of great food. Vegetarian options: Lots!

We ordered three plate veg pakora yesterday, it was a take out order and the girl at store told us that our order will be ready in 10 minutes. We picked up our order from store after 10-15 minutes and all the pakoras was not fresh at all. It was supposed to be hot and fresh but instead it feels like they have cooked it before and just warm it up and gave it to us. Never recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat fresh food.

I have only ordered from Mango Delight a few times and for the most part they have a good combination of spice that serves a population that doesn t often have Indian food. My only complaint is that they often burn the Masala which leads to unbalanced and bitter tasting food. A few days they ago I had ordered Biryani and you could tell the masala was burnt. So a waste of dish.

Highly recommend Indian restaurant. Probably the best in Northern Ontario. We enjoyed the food and the ambience.

Vegetarian options: I ordered panner tikka which not look like paneer Tikka from anywhere. I get just 6 to 7 pieces of paneeranxd I paid $15.99 for panneee tikka. If the quality was good I dont mind about the price but the quantity was too less.And Naan were also very very hard to eat very disappointment will never order again because today I paid total around $60 but did not get any taste

I went with work colleagues. We tried a variety of dishes everything was great but my favourite was Dal Tadka. Service was very friendly and the decor is simple but clean. Definitely rates a return visit

We love mango but have to say that the meat and shrimp dishes for delivery on skip are very skimpy on the meat . For instance 7 shrimp in the korma and maybe 6 piece of chicken in the coconut chicken. Its bad enough that the prices are inflated by skip . Never had a problem with the portions before. Definitely not cool paying more for less.

BLOWN AWAY!!! Delicious authentic Indian food just as they make in India. My friends and I went to visit Timmins, and we stopped by for lunch at Mango Delight. We ordered dal makhni, palak paneer, tandoori roti, raita, mint chutney, samosas, and tea. Everything was sooo delicious, just amazing. We just couldnt stop eating. The quantity of the food we got was more than sufficient. Not just that, we were greeted well upon entering the restaurant by Janak, who works there as a server. He was very polite and considerate. Although there was no music playing in the restaurant, our overall experience was still great. Well definitely visit again.

We have ordered from here several times for take out and are always happy with the food! We love the Kadai dishes! I would definitely recommend. We always order enough to have left overs and enjoy them the next day, great food! Vegetarian options: Gluten free options available!

Terrible experience. I placed an order for a client through Mango Delight via Skip The Dishes, and 1 hour later, I receive a call from Skip saying the driver has car trouble. They already charged my credit card and I already pre-paid the tip. I called Mango Delight and spoke with the manager, and asked for them to deliver the order to my client, but the manager refused. Im not impressed, and wont ever order from them again. Theyve lost a customer for good.

Very pleased with food quality during my recent visit and an earlier visit for take-away food. Service was so-so and the server would benefit from some additional hospitality industry training.

The only indian food place around Timmins. I ordered the chicken biryani and the lamb curry with naan and yogurt raita. Biryani was too spicey to even enjoy and only 4 pieces of chicken in the whole dish. The lamb curry consisted of a few lamb pieces, the rest was lamb fat and gravy, taste was average, and nothing special. Both items didnt seem fresh or not made the same day?! Raita had a mystery vegetable, not sure if it was cucumber or what. Also was not fresh from the taste. Spent 60$ and not impressed. If you are craving indian food, dont expect fresh indian food. Positive note was customer service was fantastic Enjoy.

Customer service was not expected to be this worst. With rude behaviour of the server a lady who was also cashier we felt humiliated in front of many people.

Great food, but the delivery time has been way too delayed and I ve never had to wait for such awhile for food. Almost two hours of waiting for a delivery which is unacceptable, I understand that they have third party companies like skip the dishes for deliveries but even they should have a schedule based appointment setting for deliveries with the restaurant in primary responsibility.

AMAZING. I had the chicken curry with basmati rice. Rice was perfect and the curry so so flavourful and the chicken was done just right, nice and juicy. Generous servings. Will be coming back again.

A great tasting meal in Timmins. Delicious Shrimp Biriyani and Chicken dish spicy to perfection. Clean dinning room and clean washrooms. Person at the front counter was very friendly and efficient. Overall a fantastic experience and I will be back for sure.

So pleasantly surprised by this place! Got Butter Chicken, The Lamb rice dish and garlic naan bread just to try it and everything was amazing! Nothing was over powering, yet every dish had such amazing rich flavour. 1000% would recommend!

Chicken platter its not worth it to try as price wise . Naan was like you chewing rubber . Rice daal n chicken Everything was mix together.

We have ordered from here multiple times now and it is always amazing. Our favourite dish to order is the chicken korma with basmati rice and garlic naan with the mango lassi and it is sooooo delicious. We don t order take out often but when we do it is Mango Delight. Cannot wait to place our order for today as soon as they open! Mmmmmm their chicken korma is the best!! Mix it with an order of the Basmati rice and eat it with some garlic naan and sip a mango lassi after every few bites, you will never regret that!

I echo the sentiments of a previous post. While I will say the naan bread was good and the rice was decent, the butter chicken reminded me exactly of eating some canned good, either overly sweet canned tomato soup or alphagettis or something. I have eaten butter chicken all over, including in Toronto and out west, and I have never tasted anything like this. It was extremely disappointing, particularly because of the price. Here the meat is separate and then you have to pay extra to add on the rice and naan. I do not mind paying for good food but at $30 for a one person take out lunch, I expect it not to taste like canned food.

Great food in very low prices. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

Having tasted biriyani of different kinds, never had a biriyani like this . Felt like rice was added to chicken curry , orange food colour and sprikled briyani masala . The chicken was cooked so much that it felt like paneer. The tandoori naan was alright. chicken tikka was like tomato soup with sugar and chilly. The price compared to the quality of food served was very high. I have a suggestion- please dont mix your dishes to make so much variety of food . Keep ur menu simple . Keep specials for different days . And dont use dishes that a cooked over and over again . Especially chicken cos they taste bland .

Food is good but expensive for how much chicken you get in one order of butter chicken. One time there were 8 small chunks when ordering a full order to feed a family and the last time I ordered I got the lunch special and there were only 3 small chunks of chicken. Its basically just a butter chicken sauce to dip your Naan bread..

Went here for my boyfriends birthday lunch! A bit pricey but for the portion size it s worth it! Super tasty as well and great service from the staff

Shared the Lamb Korma and Chicken Biryani w/ my Boyfriend the last time I was in Timmins and it was wonderful! We also got the garlic naan and samosas, we didnt mind them but the Korma was definitely the star! Just be mindful of the prices, they seem to differ from where you look, theyve gone up. So we got that surpise at pickup

First time eating at mango the delight. I had the lamb curry, vegetarian rice, the mango delight and two free samosas (promo for ordering $35.00+) The lamb curry was delicious but for the price of $22, there was only about 4 small peices of lamb. The vegetarian rice was very good, but frozen vegetables and potatoes were used. The butter roti was pretty good, and the samosas were delightful. The yogurt sauce and chutney were good also. The mango delight was just canned pears in a mango coulis sauce. My total meal cost was $58 for two small dishes, 2 roti, and the mango delight. Over all the food was tasty but unfortunately the portion size was very small and the frozen veggies were a turn off. In my opinion the price heavily outweighed the quality.

Awesome food! The garlic naan is to die for! I asked for heat with my palak paneer and they delivered. We did find the butter chicken to be a bit on the sweet side, but not a deal breaker. The chicken Kadai s flavours were well developed. Will be returning next time we are in Timmins.

I bought a lamb vindaloo from there yesterday(10/13/2022). Sad to say that there were no lamb pieces in it. All I could see was just dark-colored curry with potatoes. I would say its a bit expensive too.

Passing through Timmins on my way further North, I found this gem. Excellent food and really great service. Would highly recommend.

Easy to find, was not busy for dine-in so my group had the restaurant to ourselves. Seemed very busy for take-out. The restaurant area was spotlessly clean and the serving staff was very helpful. We ordered several dishes to share including butter chicken, palak paneer and coconut shrimp. We started with samosas which looked very appealing when first brought out but were still frozen solid in the middle so we sent them back. They replaced the first order with a new batch that were heated through nicely and delicious. Sadly the main dishes brought out to us were mainly sauce with very few pieces of meat which is very off-putting when paying nearly $20 per dish. The coconut shrimp had 4 pieces in it which was not even enough to share amongst our group of 5. The flavours were good but I felt the dishes were just too skimpy to justify the price. We wont be going back.

We had the butter chicken and chicken biryani rice and we really enjoyed everything! It all tasted amazing. The only thing we were disappointed with was that the butter chicken didn t come with a side of rice or even nann. You had to purchase it separately, which makes the total cost of the meal on the expensive side. I m hoping management of the Resturant can consider adding a side with the entree. Really hoping this place does well! We need more variety and good quality restaurants such as Mango Delight.

Delicious fresh homemade indian food with fast and friendly service , neat and clean environment for employees and customers. The vegetable pakoras were really good. The butter chicken was extremely sweet. Almost like cream of tomato soup with about a cup of added sugar. Not edible. Im sure some of the other food is great, but definitely do not get the butter chicken.

According to quantity everything is expensive. They should do something about it otherwise people gonna ignore this place preety soon.

Good food but long waiting time and limited hours.

Ive been twice now. Both times had the chicken platter in order to get some variety. So far uve had chana masala, butter chicken, chicken kadai, and indian curry (which wasnt on the menu but really should be, its great). So far everything has had great flavour. Was really glad to see a new style of food come to Timmins. Food has been high quality and huge portions for the price. Tastes less spicy than my experience with kadai chicken in the past, so for those who are expecting spicy, its quite tame. But the flavours are very vibrant and tasteful. Super impressed. Especially for how fast the service is. Will be returning in the future.

I ordered takeout Panner tikka masala and dal tadka with rice. They taste amazing with a good portion. The Dal Tadka was exceptional. Best Indian food in Timmins.

I am so happy such a great Indian cuisine restaurant has opened here in Timmins! It has always been one of my favourite ethnic foods. Having had the pleasure of tasting this type of cuisine in many different cities I can honestly say that Mango Delight does not disappoint. The food is delicious and of great quality. Very friendly and fast service. It was my second time ordering last night for myself and my son. We will definitely be regular customers. Great service at the counter and it was ready within 15 to 20 minutes Shahi Paneer Lamb Vindaloo Garlic Naan Basmati Rice Mango Delight desert Mango Lassi Masala Chai Tea OH MY GOD! Look out Timmins! I wish I could rate more than 5 stars! The food was enough to full 2 adults and enough to have the exact amount for tomorrows left over. The order came with taxes to around $63. For all those that complain about costs ...... where can you eat @ $15 bucks and enjoy the flavours of traditional indian food. Good Luck and I will be back to order from your menu again! AWESOME!

Not impressed at all, I love butter chicken its one of my favorite dishes. Ive experienced it a various restaurants in a variety of cities and I was so excited to try mango delight. I was HIGHLY disappointed basically tasted like canned tomato soup with sugar.. I couldnt eat it, Ive never had butter chicken that tasted like this. Spent basically $100 to eat rice and burnt Nann bread as my husband couldnt stomach his supper either. Never again.

Amazing food, and such kind staff. Always so welcoming! The flavours and spices are delicious, and so authentic. Timmins is lucky to have such delicious Indian food in town.

I work downtown and Mango Delight is one of my go-to places for a delicious lunch. The portions are so big you generally get two meals out of it. I love their Chicken Platters. I also love their butter chicken. I had a sweet tooth so to me its perfect! Delicious and will be returning for more!

Worst shrimp tandoori ever, insulting India.

I have ordered 3 times from your restaurant. I find that butter chicken is sweet compared too Indian food in Toronto not bad just different. Your naan is hit and miss I ve had 1 bad order , 1 okay one , 1 Amazing one. Your portions are great size but the price is too high I find that naan should be included in order butter chicken. I ordered 2 naan portions , 1 butter chicken , 1 baryani rice and it s 45$. My parents live in GTA same order bigger portions 30 dollars if that. You are only Indian restaurants in town so charge what you like. I will continue come and eat friendly staff. :) always happy come eat here.

I love the quality and authentic flavors here. The vegetable biryani is absolutely fabulous. The lamb curry is fabulous as well. The staff and very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend.
