Food was tasty. I ordered take out to a hotel in town. The instructions were to hand to me at the door. Food was left on the floor outside my hotel room without a knock to let me know it arrived. Not appreciated but I expect that was a third party delivery service. Meal was delivered to a hotel without cutlery. It obviously wasn’t a house so I’m not sure why no cutlery was included.
While this is a franchise, I've noticed some variation in taste across different locations, including this one and the Sudbury branch. The food here was decent, but not as exceptional as I've experienced elsewhere. Overall, it was a satisfactory dining experience.
Excellent experiences both dine in and take out. The food is delicious. Most recently ordered the onion bhaji, mango chicken, rice, and naan. It was so tasty! The portions are also fair. This meal was split between 2 people and we had some leftovers to bring home. The service was attentive but also gave us space as well. Very friendly and polite.

Upon walking in, the staff and owner were very friendly and informative as it was our first time. We decided to have the buffet. For $25, it was all you can eat rice, samosa, pakora, a wonderful selection of curries and galub jamun for dessert. There was also fresh mint sauce (amazing) creamy yogurt and a tamarind dip. There was both vegetarian and meat options. Everything was fantastic! We tried the malasa lemonade (it is salty/spiced, so be prepared!) and the banana lassi (it was a deliciously spiced banana smoothie). My only criticism is that the vegetable curry was made with frozen vegetables. It was still good, but I would have preferred fresh. Overall: The food was prepared with love, staff was very friendly and attentative and we can't wait to go back. Will try ordering off of the menu next time. I recently visited sukhdev for lunch, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable, creating a perfect setting for a midday meal. The service was outstanding, with a particularly generous and attentive server who made us feel very welcome. We ordered a few items: Dahi Chat and Vindaloo Chicken with Naan. The Dahi Chat was okay—pleasant enough, but not remarkable. Unfortunately, the Vindaloo Chicken was somewhat disappointing. The flavor was lacking, and the portion size was quite small, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite the food not fully meeting our expectations, the overall experience was still positive. The lovely ambiance and exceptional service made our visit enjoyable. I would definitely consider returning, hoping for improvements in the food quality and portion sizes.
One of the best indian restaurants in town. They adapt well to your taste if informed before placing the order. Servers are the best to deal with. Food is amazing. Must try chaap and butter chicken Kizzie was the perfect host

We bought daal and paneer Daal was not good. Had a bad taste as it was sour which aint supposed to be. I served my relatives as it is. Feeling ashamed cuz these.

Best indian food in Timmins by far.
I recently traveled from the U.S. to Timmins, Ontario with my family & we were missing the Indian food back home. We went to try this restaurant and it ended up being so good. The food was fresh, we specifically loved the aloo mattar, garlic naan and chole bhature! The staff is so welcoming as well. Definitely try it out when you get the chance.
Placed order for salted lassi got charged for it, after opening package got rice in it. Also,Before picking up the parcel I was standing there for 5 mins and there was nothing on counter, then your guy came gave me a STAPLED PAPER BAG and entered each item in tab and then I paid. He didnt even mentioned that my drink has packed inside the paper bag or not.

I have tried lots of Indian restaurants around the globe and rarely ever do reviews but this new restaurant deserves it. This is the best Indian food Ive had in Canada by far! The service is great, the young lady that served us was super friendly and served us really well. The place is clean and the environment is nice. The food was amazing, the portions are perfect too. The butter chicken and cheese naan were delicious. Dont miss the amazing mango lassi and the Kheer for dessert. This is a 4h drive for us and itll be my go-to restaurant every time I come through Timmins. Thank you!
We arrange a small party over here overall experience is too great . Food we ordered there allo tikki chat, lemon tandoori chicken , rajma , Paneer lababdar everything is so tasty and over my expectations . Will surely recommend everyone to go over there

I recently visited sukhdev restaurant and when I entered , a lady came and ask , dine in or take out ? I mean no manners of welcoming customers. No hello no hi just the question with no smile. The food was very good and delicious but we were not satisfied by the way she welcomed us . They should learn the customer respect policy and basic manners.

Really enjoyed the buffet, nice variety of dishes at a reasonable price. Wasnt very clear as to what was in the dishes when relayed that my wife had intolerance to dairy, but they tried to explain as best as they could. Over all enjoyed our experience and would go again. Great dinner here tonight. Had a variety of dishes with the family and everything was delicious. I liked that we could customize our level of spice. For me a 5 was a medium heat. Highly recommend for those looking for ethnic food in Timmins.

Amazing! I have had RButter Chicken (med), Jeera rice and Butter Naan on 4 separate occasions now from here. I love it so much! I have never been to India, although I have had this meal several times in big cities, and from here in Timmins. To me, its very much authentic and tasty! Staff is polite and very nice. The restaurant, itself is clean comfortable. I am looking forward to indulge in the dinner buffet! Timmins needed this! Thank you.

Great flavors! Was on my own so only got the butter chicken, rice, and Naan, with a banana Lassi. Saddly the buffet is only thurs, Fri & Saturday so hopefully my next visit aligns better
I just had my order. It was 2 aloo pranthas. Ist time when i ordered same paranthas. They were so good but today , i donot have enough words to say , when i received my order , there was no butter . Paranthas were thick layered n half cooked . Taste was not good as they are not fully cooked n thick layered. Till now, i had great experience but today, it was extremely bad.

Food is consistently delicious, flavours are authentic. The owner and the servers are always so welcoming. I have lived in Toronto, and this Indian buffet can stand toe to toe with the best ones there. Selection is a little more limited, but everything I have tried has been excellent. Ordered today for take out and the food was great! Everything was very well seasoned and tasted so fresh. The pakoras were amazing, I highly recommend. Lots of gluten free options as well, which was appreciated. My husband and I both think our favourite dish we ordered was the lamb rogan josh.

The management is too poor as well as not well maintained and food delivery is so late I waited for my order one and half hour and after that they told me that we are closed, so whats fault of customers?

Very good vegetarian options! good portions for price. They also make it according the the spice level you want which I love . Very friendly . Will be back for sure . I tried alo matar and dal tadka with rice and naan Vegetarian options: A lot of high protein options for vegetarians (paneer, chickpeas, etc) which i love as its hard to find take out with vegetarian protein options.
Second time trying Indian cuisine and my gosh was it ever delicious!!!!! The price for the buffet and the polite and efficient service was wonderful. Would definitely recommend to any other curious gourmet that has a low tolerance for spicy food.

Enjoyed the buffet on offer this evening. They had I believe 11 dishes and 1 dessert available. The food was very good and the spice levels on the buffet were lower to medium. So if you re looking for more spicy, you may have to opt for using the menu.
