Great affordable sushi place in Timmins. The servers were friendly and quick with our orders. The robot delivering the sushi is a cool touch. We had a great experience overall!
I've been coming here for years to notice a big change in quality of food going down and prices going up. I found metal shavings in my chicken fried udon and food not tasting the freshest. The tempura crab and brocoli was my favorite thing, not the rolls or udon. When we arrived others who came in after us were given tablets and drink orders before us and no one checked on us during the meal unless we called someone over which felt unwelcoming. Yesterday I think is the last time I'll be back in for awhile.
We arrived with a party of 6 and asked to be seated in the other area and was told to sit at a crammed booth even though there were people seated at the table side. Half way through the waitress dropped a tray full of food right next to one of our guests. She never apologized and my friend beige pants were full of sauce. So was her shirt. We asked to talked to the manager and asked him to compensate her the meal price and he agreed. When she looked he instead removed the adult price and charged her a kids plate. The service sucks and the foods not much better.
Worst experience ever, never gonna try there again. First off all, train your customer service staff little more better. If I am asked to sit somewhere where your staff is comfortable of serving doesn’t make sense. I am the one coming to your restaurant and if there seat available where i feel comfortable, I should have the right to sit where ever I like, unless it is reserved. I am coming to enjoy and experience your food , and i am the one paying. Second, I get your intention of motivating customers not to waste food, but as a new customer, I may not be familiar with all your menu, so if i liked to try it, I will order, that’s what all restaurants provide. And if i don’t like it I can’t eat it. But I believe I am paying for it already. If you want more profit out of your ‘all you can eat menu’ then just increase the pricing, charging for any thing I waste, which is something that can’t even shove into my mouth, doesn’t make sense. Or better explain all the ingredients under your menu, so we might be aware of what we going to order. And ask your staff to explain these policy of your restaurant before we order something.
Food was okay today, our waitress was great and sweet. We usually get rushed in and out by the servers. When it was time to pay some other girl came and asked if we were done. I gave her cash and ended up keeping $5 without me telling her! I found that really weird and rude of her. I was going to tip my original waitress but it was a very odd way of the other on assuming that’s what i would give her! Please train your servers better Thank you I gave $40.00 and she gave me $5 back and assume the change was her’s. She obviously doesn’t know how to count and neither do you! My server was not on break, this girl came to our table twice to ask us if we were done! It was pretty rude of her to do so. You looked at the cameras 😂 The place was full so how do you even know who I am.
Its decent. I visited Timmins for business and its comparable to some of the mid-tier quality sushi restaurants in Toronto. Based off of some of the negative reviews, it sounds like those people may have expected more value in terms of food quality and service for the price they were being charged. I found it to be an average experience. The servers were diligent and the food was decent. They also have a serving robot which was fun to see rolling around serving tables. I would suggest for the restaurant to maybe try hiding away the food packaging containers and the bussing tray with the dirty dishes a bit better instead of keeping it visible/nearby the customer tables. It looks like part of what should be in the back room is being normally kept on the guest floor. But for anyone curious about this place, I would recommend giving it a try. My experience had no issues. At the end of the day, the servers work hard and the kitchen is prompt. Is it 3-star Michelin level? No. Its a sushi restaurant in Timmins and they are hard working human beings. They may have had moments with some of the other reviewers, but I think as long as you manage your expectations, you'll be okay.
I honestly can say this was the worst sushi place I've ever visited. The serving staff were friendly and fast, but the food itself was questionable. The sushi was poorly made and had a funky smell. It was slimy, lukewarm, bland and falling apart. The cups were cracked and the soy sauce bottle as well. The servings were far smaller than any place I've been too (and I've been to quite a few sushi places in Southern Ontario) and the cucumber looked like spring onions or lettuce. Overall, I'd never recommend going to this place unless you want to be worried over food poisoning.
I've had grocery store sushi better than this. Rolls were old and stale. The chicken was more of a mystery meat. I'm going to stick with eating sushi in Sudbury from now on.

Kicked out my autistic nephew bc he wouldn t eat the food . So terrible . The worst experience ever .
My gf and I have been to many sushi resteraunts around ontario and this was by far the worst experience. To start, several of the drink cups were cracked. The soya sauce lid was also cracked and spilled when you poured it. The sushi was poorly made and some were falling apart. Other sushi was not cut evenly so some places were too thick to eat. The salmon on top of the red dragon role appeared slimy. This was not worth the 30s bucks per person.

Went in with high expectations, but were sadly left quite disappointed. The edamame tasted like it had been overboiled. The udon noodles were flavourless. The rice was dry. The seaweed was stale. The fish had an odd smell to it and was extremely slimy. And to top it off the glasses were cracked, plates were chipped and the ceiling looked like a pipe had leaked. The only redeeming quality was the serving staff, who were prompt and accurate with delivering the orders to the table and were all very pleasant. Our money would have been better spent getting sushi from the grocery store

Was disappointed that the spicy tuna roll had the smallest sliver of tuna and was mostly filled with the crunchy topping. Ive never had the topping used as a filler before.

Recently I attempted dinner with five other friends, except I opted to drink a few pints rather than eat, while the rest had AYCE sushi... I was told that they would make an exception to the rule and allow me not to eat and only enjoy beer, but apparently this is not allowed? As a rule I would have to follow suit or leave... What restaurant that serves food and alcohol ANYWHERE in the Western world, prohibits customers from patronizing said business by spending money on only the alcohol portion of the menu?! Why prevent someone from having 2-3 pints (Sapporo) at approximately $10 plus tax while the rest of the party eats? A paying customer supports your business regardless of what is ordered off of the menu... I left the staff (and unfortunately my crew) to pour their pint down the sink as I stated I wont be an exception to their stupidity. Apparently COVID didnt do enough damage as they easily can turn business away...
2024 winter - last winter was my last visit at the restaurant and it was horrendous. I went in before rush hour and the place was dead. I expected to be seated on the opposite side or the restaurant were the two seaters were due to them shifting around thier front end. Instead the waiter brought me over to a single seated table with the dirty dishes right up beside it and expected me to sit down to eat by the dirty dish rack and in the way of the robot they have going back and forth with orders. I asked for another spot and pointed out the dishes. After a small back and forth with a disgusted glare from the female staff, I was then placed in the two person section were couples were sat. Again tis not busy but I was promptly ignored by the staff and my food was only delivered by the cart. I made myself small and quite with only ordering a few things while getting nasty looks from the female staff who all of a sudden couldnt speak anything but thier native lounge. So I only even got one drink and never a refill until I politely asked another guest beside me if she could draw a staffs attention over. Shame cuz I use to love this place. Also the manager never cleared up the past situation with me and I remained blacklisted by them for deliveries as every time I called the manager was suddenly gone. 2022 - Loved it till i got a order that said was suppose to come in a hour. Called after a hour and a half. The lady on the phone said she would see were they were at and call me back. Had to call back 20 mins after. She was annoyed and i was about to cancle order when it showed up. 2hr and 30 mins after placing order and 1hr and 30 mins after she said it would show. The driver was rude and said i was the last on his list. I called to order again and found out i was blacklisted from delivery after they claimed thier deliver system was broken twice. Good food but this has to be the worst experince. No manager on duty to talk to about this. Its a shame, i love the food from here as its one of the best in town. Always had a decent experince going in except for some items never showing up after order. Wish the manager had gotten ahold of me to sort this issue out. Lest it wasnt the guy who turned my meal into salad in the backseat of his car that time.
This is my all time favourite place to eat in Timmins. The food and service is always wonderful!!! Kid-friendliness: Many kid-friendly options as well!

Im unsure if there is new ownership or new cooks or new something but the last 3 times Ive had it have not been good, I used to love eating here however the service has been terrible and I dont feel welcome at all by the staff in the slightest, food has taken a steep nose dive in quality and Ive actually gotten sick the last 3 times Ive eaten there, and you know what they say 3rd times the charm. I will no longer be eating there just for my own safety. If anyone has any serious food allergies I highly recommend you reconsider going there, all of my food dishes today smelled/ tasted faintly of peanuts.

Do not be misled by earlier reviews as we were utterly disappointed. Firstly, it was unclear that no a la carte option was available. (Not on website nor at door nor clarified by wait staff). The drop off of food items was as rapid as possible to avoid eye contact in fear we might ask for anything. Last order was 8:42 with the restaurant closing at 9:30. They were mopping floors as we were trying to eat to expedite their close. Food was amateur hour with sushi rolls barely holding together and flavourless. Big miss. Go to the grocery store for an overall better experience.
Im from out of town, and went here after being referred to this restaurant by a friend. I was very disappointed by the quality of my food. The bad: Carachi Don - The sashimi tasted old and looks off I hope I don t get sick. Vegetable Tempura - the squash was cut so thick that it fell apart, why so many mushrooms, the batter and dipping sauce also seemed off. The salad (specifically the dressing) and miso soup that came with also tasted off. The good: the can of Asahi beer was very cold. The server was kind and helpful. They have a robot server. Unfortunately, I would probably rate grocery store sushi better than what I got here. This is not a place to get fresh sashimi but I can t speak on their other items.
It s my first time visiting this restaurant and I have a great experience. Food was super delicious and hot specially the sashimi , sushi ,shrimp tempura , pumpkin tempura , baby enoki mushroom rolls , Phil roll, rock n roll and green tea I love that. The environment was super cool and the quantity and quality of food was super cool which I did not expect . Because in buffet it s always very small but here not like that the quantity was really enough for eating. Lastly I will say I love there robot which was very cute and I like one more thing which they charge for wastage just keeping food wastage less . All in all great experience . We ve been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years with no issues, but now it s under new ownership and new management and we will never be returning. They changed their policy now so that even if someone at your table is not eating, you still have to pay full price for them. We brought our two children as we always do ( and they already had their own dinner as they won t eat sushi or noodles ) and we were told that it goes by how many people are seated at your table now, whether they re eating or not. so we would have to pay all you can eat for four people even though only two people would be eating. They said they could wave it just this once but next time we have to pay or leave our kids at home. We said we didn t agree with that policy and felt discriminated against. The manager, then in a heated tone said that we were discriminating against her because she was Asian. What does not agreeing with a policy have to do with race?? Why is a business trying to accuse people of being Racists when they don t agree with how it s being run? We got up and left.
UPDATE 2024: I still love this restaurant but the little things are adding up. Staff were checking in on us too often. I mean, every 1-2 minutes because one would come then another would come right after. The food quality has reduced even more. ALL the rolls were loose and sloppy, mango was over ripped and mush upon any contact, chicken teriyaki was hard and crusty, ice cream had ice chunks, BBQ eel was overcooked and deep fried banana was undercooked. I got tired of addressing the issues with the dishes and left them. The atmosphere is amazing, the service is too friendly and both make it worth what the food is lacking. Please please please bring back the quality!!! Original Post 2023: I have been dinning at Osaka since 2009. I dont think I will ever stop going. However, I wish they would steer away from faux scallops and allow more than 1 mochi per customer that has the all-you-can-eat. Their quality needs to match their price. Otherwise, the service is always amazing and efficient. Whenever theres an issue (with dish, drink, or service), the rectification of whichever situation left me satisfied.

Definitely go for sushi, rolls and sashimi. We were seriously impressed with the quality - even better than some weve had in Toronto! However, we prefer to order the Party Trays to go. Eating in the service is a bit slow, some of our orders get forgotten, and the atmosphere is not as welcoming/warm as Id like.

I typically order takeout however some friends brought me for a dine-in experience. It was overall fun, Ive never experienced ordering from an iPad and the delivery robot was so cute! 4 stars because the booth was very small, I could barely fit and Im average sized! Otherwise, will definitely return. Good food for value, great buffet price.
Just a reference, you WIlL BE CHARGED if you finished your plate like us in the picture, be clever on your choice. While at the end of the meal, servant was carefully separating every plate and counting the food debris for left over surcharge fee was very disappointing.(since we never ever been charged in any all you can eat restaurant with finishing plate like this) When we found on receipt was no breakdown but purely based on servant s mood to decide how much to charge the left over, things looks like going to the wired direction. It s not even 1/10 of what we tipped, but ruined the entire meal, mood and overall feeling of service.(especially our servant insisted she was the temporary manager in store to decide and refuse to provide receipts or policy of how much to charge, while another servant said she will not charge anything based on her measurement.)

Really great place but would like to see bigger tables for groups. A table that seats 4 becomes very crowded with plates when there are 4 people. Parking: Small lot and not many other parking spots nearby that are free. Busy street front.

Our experience here is hit and miss. The sushi is usually always good. Many times though, the tempura and appetizers and little snacks come out cold and soggy. Other times everything comes out super fast and hot and fresh. Its not because of volume of people or days of the week because we have tried many different times and days of the week. The staff are very nice but I wish they would just bring a stack of napkins and water for the table without me having to ask three times. I dont know anyone who eats all you can eat sushi and uses only one napkin! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dishes Parking: There is a small parking lot but its usually full. There is some streey parking.
I absolutely love the food and for most of my visits I would have given 5 stars across the board. But tonight our table found the servers quite rude. If the kitchen is starting to close and you want last orders in all you have to do is say so. Tell us the kitchen is shutting down you have this much time to get your last orders in. Instead one server kept coming back and asking are you done, are you done and then another server came over and said are you ready for the bill can I take the tablet now. We did not end up being able to take advantage of the all you can eat. We did not realize the time and that the restaurant was trying to shut down. This could have been handle much better. We could have all easily left smiling. To be totally honest we felt rushed by the servers on arrival. My advice is the moment you are feeling that you need to rush the customer, stop. Tell them last orders need to be in by x time and then we just know and will watch the time ourselves.
Will not return to eat here. All the shashimi was very fishy tasting leading its clientele to believe it is not stored properly and not fresh. After returning the bad fish I was charged extra because if you cant finish you plate at this all you can eat there is a charge. Very disappointed in how they handled this and the overall experience. Seaweed salad was actually really food though...

DO NOT EAT HERE If I could leave no stars I would. Went over the holidays with my partner. There were only 2 tables being occupied at opposite ends of the restaurant and they seat us directly behind one of them. Drinks were unclear and the Sapporo size that is displayed at the counter and was pointed out by the waitress as the size to order was not what I received at all, and for $9 per can? The Service was slow, stuttered, and distracted. Like I said, there was a total of (now 3) tables occupied in the entire restaurant. Spent more time on the phone than with in-house customers who just wanted to leave. To top it all off, every single customer was only informed AFTER they had finished eating that they would be charged dinner menu prices and not lunch buffet despite all of us being there no later than 2:30PM. Spend your money elsewhere.
I am so happy this place exists. Went again Feb of 2023. Still great food, but now 37$ a head. Thats gonna lower the frequency of going for me When all said n done, taxes, and tip, (no alcohol added) expect to drop a 95-100 for 2 people eating. Parking: Limited spaces, and take out drivers park beside building, blocking a leaving patron from exiting. Youll literally have to wait til the delivery driver leaves to actually leave.

The food was okay however, the service is terrible. The severs barely came to our table unless they were bringing food, and the drinks they brought us were flat. Anytime we d ask a question they seemed like it was a terrible inconvenience. Would likely not visit again.

They say on their site that they are open till 930 however when we went at 830 they said the kitchen closes at 845.. they said everyone knows this but since its not anywhere on here I figured Id write it. When I worked at a restaurant if you were open till 10 you were expected to work till then then close afterwards. Same with retail stores etc so I am not sure when this started .. .disappointing.

I open my order. I was like what!?? -The Mochis are prepackaged!!!!! - They call that Takoyaki!! So small, but the taste and texture is alright. - Deep fried scallop, bland no taste I like the roll, shasimi is alright, can be thicker. Ha Gao!! Not bad, the skin is a little thick.

Ordered take out for the first time, never had an issue with dining in. The food was DISGUSTING for costing over 100$ Everything was soggy, the rice tastes sour, not a single thing was even edible. What a waste of money. Can t say I would recommend their take out, it was just so god awful. Supper was absolutely ruined by the poor quality of food, very disappointed

We ordered to bring. The general tao chicken did not live up to my expectations. Rather sticky rice and I wasnt able to drink my soup. Disappointing as a dining experience based on the high price of the food.

Visited from Toronto and it was one of the worse restaurants I ve ever been. We waited over 30 mins for some of the items we ordered and had to kindly ask our servers multiple times to ask if it s ready otherwise we d order again to resubmit the order. They also kept bringing us plates full of food we did not order (2 large plates full of rolls was one of the times they brought it) and the server had to stand there for 5 mins reviewing our tablet to confirm, had no issues about that since we wouldn t be able to finish. They also didn t take back any finished plates and we had to literally grab the attention of them because it was about to fall off the table. They d love to keep bringing food but not taking them away once we finished. This place charges you $4 even with 2 pieces of sashimi left on your plate and it all makes sense as to why they kept bringing us so much food we didn t order especially after reading the reviews that the owner calls the cops on so many of their dine in guests. Not impressed, even restaurants in Toronto aren t this rude to us. Management needs to change their attitude, sucks that they re power tripping because they re the only sushi restaurant in the area.

Food was good a few months ago, the must have made a kitchen change because the food took a massive nose dive. Very disappointed, and very disgusting. The service has never been good. Although I am glad to see that this sushi restaurant continues to have staying power in Timmins, it could use some work. Hopefully, I was just there on an off day. The rice was not prepared properly, leading to many of the rolls and sushi falling apart and making a mess (which thoroughly entertained my partner and I but was annoying for eating purposes). General Tao also never got promoted here. At best, Private Tao at his chicken without spice and an oddly burnt flavour in his sauce. The (accidentally ordered) Rock and Roll special roll contained an exorbitant amount of molten cream cheese without much else to help ground the flavour. This led to the first time I had to spit out a parcel of food since I was 9 (or chocking). We will not speak of the overcooked monstrosity they called calamari. Do not lose hope, though! Not all is lost. The restaurant itself is cute (quaint?) while the service was good. The sashimi was well prepared, the wait staff checked in on us regularly, and the food came out at a fairly consistent pace. If you are craving sushi, they will meet your needs. I hope the next time I visit Timmins, they will prove me wrong so I can update this review and give them a 5 star.

This was my first meal entering north land to visit family. Our waitress wasn t the nicest and was rough with dropping our food on the table. She was very short with us and didn t seem friendly. We would remind her the food was very delicious and made us full. When we asked for the bill (yes we clicked on the iPad for it) she told us we have to do it on the iPad . Which we did. I m not one to complain, but I didn t find her personality very nice that night. It s almost like she didn t want to be there I hope it was just an off night and it s not usually like this
I have been there like twice and thrice but a love how well they serve you and the best thing about it is the food. I love Chinese and I can probably say it is the best Chinese restaurant in whole northern Ontario
My Favourite restaurant of all time here in Timmins Ontario. Friendly, clean, comfortable, and delicious fresh food. Whether I dine in, take out or have delivery, their food is heavenly every time. Every bite a savouring delight. Although it s definitely a place for a once and a while treat on my budget. Since my first visit I have fallen in love with Sushi!

Service is quick most days with great portion sizes. Price for all you can eat is higher than average but this is the only real dine-in place in Timmins. Ordering is done on a tablet with pictures and a description of each item. Overall very satisfying with no regrets unless you choose to overdo it. Parking: Lots of parking if you show up before the rush.
Good food prices have went up quite a bit in the recent years. Go with an appetite so you get your moneys worth.

Its my first time visiting at osaka shushi. And I have a great experience. Everything was perfect like food, drinks and specially there new sitting arrangements, which is very comfortable. And I really love the robot. Their service was very friendly like very quick and staff was cooperative and polite by nature.

Its a little dark and the outside is pretty Shaddy but the food is better then the place looks. Its not 5 star but its not a 2. Kid-friendliness: I take my grandkids and even though they are well-behaved in restaurants they are very accommodating.
I went there today and i ordered thai spicy noodles. They were delicious. I suggest its the best place to go with your friends and family.
Not bad, but not the best experience. Food was ordinary, tasted better. Even if I tried lots of things. Service was bland but it is made to be like that with the little robot going around and ordering with a tablet. Almost no human interactions, not my preferred thing. Atmosphere-wise? Ordinary. Asian place. Price? Fairly expensive -1 star for the bad comfort of the chairs and benches and the little table space you have for all the plates and extras they bring to you. I dont think I will come back
Charged me $44.05 for two items, I don t eat a lot and was my first time there (will be my last). Asking if I could get another bill, lack of communication and service was horrible. All you can eat option is garbage, put prices on your menu.
Ive continued to visit Osaka Sushi every couple of weeks with my girlfriend and they continue to serve delicious food. The staff are friendly and the service is timely. The space is simply decorated and scent free aside from what they serve. Theyve recently updated their ordering system from paper to electronic which is also convenient and environmentally friendly. I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant, 5/5 Edit: Ive continued to come to this restaurant as often as I can and they continue to serve the most delicious food in Timmins. Theyve recently redid their seating with new comfortable booths with more space so you can better enjoy the atmosphere and your meal. Curious, I spoke to a team member and it was done by the restaurant alone instead of hiring a contractor, which was very impressive.

Unreal....paid 154$... Shrimps overcooked.... Meat over cooked.... Fish over cooked and burnt..... Every fried items over fried..... We told the server.... Nondiscount nothing much was done else than sorry mam tell us next time lol.... Not going back there for sure!
Food is good and but price is much higher than similar restaurant I went to in NorthBay a couple days ago with better food. Went there with my wife and other friends for a birthday. The bill for my wife and I was like $93.00 but they automatically added a $14.00 tip in the bill. I do not like to be told how much I have to tip and I would have left a tip without it being added onto my bill automatcally. I will not go back because of that. I noticed the restaurant was not as busy as it was on Friday nights when I went in there past. Good luck with the business.

Really good. A little pricey, but you do get what you pay for. We are visiting from London ON, and we found this place on maps. Thought we would try them out. 10/10 recommend. It is not Toronto grade sushi.... We arent in Toronto lol... BUT it comes close to it!
I never do this, but I want to openly say that this restaurant lacks humane ethics. My husband and his friend often drive to Timmins for business, and last year they went there to eat after a long drive. The waiter gave my husband the wrong order and when he asked nicely to change it for the one he wanted they rudely denied him to correct the food and told him to eat that. After trying to explain to the manager nothing got solved and they left the place without eating the food. The restaurant called the cops and followed my husband to the hotel and they didnt care about confirming twice the story. They had to pay the food and they didnt even got it to go. Honeslty this is the worst Ive ever heard about a restaurant doing to a customer. Never gonna come here.

Ate sushi at Vancouver. Same price and the sashimi was very nice. Didnt like the sashimi at Osaka. Sushi were OK!

I have never done this. Went in around 4:30 pm for dinner. Was greeted and service was good for about the first 30 mins after it got busy due to it being a Friday night. We got our appetizers and drinks within the thirty minute. AND now it goes DOWNHILL FAST. We waited an hour between the appetizers and to get our sushi rolls. In this hour we saw everyone else get theirs. We originally thought it was taking long because of how busy it was .. NOPE. They gave our 4 rolls away. Still waiting we finally got someone and we asked what was taking so long and she went to the kitchen and checked she said there was no order placed. During this hour in between NO One checked on us to for anything even to offer us more tea. When they did come back they asked if we were done. We didn t even get our rolls left. When we got our rolls we only got 3/4 rolls. We waved them done and asked for the check because we had to leave. She brought the card machine and we wanted to pay debt but . THEY said NO DEBT and there was no sign anywhere that said that thankfully one of us had credit to pay. And when she brought the receipt she thunked it on the table and left. We were there from 4:30 to 6:20 Awful service ih and they gave away our 4th roll as well to another table. Food was good but AWFUL service.
Once we figured out how to order it was a breeze.

The least thing to do when a customer gives a negative rating is to try to understand why and not deny everything. I say it and I repeat it, we did not receive any explanation about the waste policy. Besides, Im not for wasting food and its not the extra $2 that I missed neither. What I am trying to make you understand is respect for customers. Cordially.

Food was over hyped. Not great. If you know sushi, you will understand. The rice was okay. They said I was going to be charged extra for not finishing two chicken strips. Sushi came, fish tasted terrible.Would not recommend, respectfully. They charged me a extra $9 for not finishing my food I didn t enjoy.

Worse customer service I have ever seen. Anytime I asked what anything was that they brought out, they just ignored me, put the plate down and left.
Rediculous that we couldnt eat inside the restaurant if we ordered from the menu. I got my order to go, went to the store for drinks and came back to wait in the entrance, after a while I approached the counter and turns out our food was ready this whole time. All the staff were just standing around chatting, no one came to see us.
Not amazing but good quality sushi. Lunch has more limited options. We go cause its the best one in the area. Kid-friendliness: I mean its sushi so its your choice if you let your kids eat it. We do. They have high chairs and they made space for us on the far side so the kids could roam a little without bothering other patrons.

Great food and quick service. The only complaint I would have is that sashimi slices are sliced too thick sashimi means thinly sliced fish but what is served is sliced chunks of fish. If this was improved, I would give 5/5.
Wasnt a pleasant experience.
Went here for lunch, sushi was mediocre at best. Dynamite roll tasted just like mayo and nothing else. Sesame chicken had a very off taste and was heavily battered. I wont be returning as it cost my family of 3 $80 to eat and we left still hungry due to low quality eats.

Absolutely love this place, come here for special occasions, or whenever Im in town. Thai mushroom soup and everything on the sushi, sushimi, rolls, exc. Is my favorite. Especially the baby mushroom rolls.
Fast service, impressive food
I always enjoy going out for sushi here. Its the best. The service is awesome there extremely nice people. I always get delicious food hot and great quality. Its the best all you can eat place. I want to go there soon I have a big craving.
I rarely leave a poor review, but I feel that I have to due to my exceptionally poor experience at this restaurant. I purchased a $35 take-out order and added a 15% tip. I asked if I could have a glass or cup of water prior to leaving the restaurant. I was told that they only had bottle water. The restaurant has water that isn t bottled, so their response was dishonest. In addition, I gave a generous tip given the order was takeout and they couldn t even offer water. I m disappointed with this poor service and lack of integrity.

If I can rate this place it would be zero stars. I use to take clients here on a weekly basis and spend roughly $100 to $200 a week on food and beer, I go there today with a client and I want to sit down and order lunch for myself and a beer while he has a beer and discuss business amongst each other for our next upcoming project and the waitress states it s policy everyone must eat. Never again will I eat here, you lost my business. Best of luck in the future!
Awesome Sushi shop. Will be back again next time I come through Timmins. Price os very reasonable and the atmosphere is perfect. Seems everyone comes for their birthdays here.. I would too if I lived here. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options.
I have been working north for the past month coming from the southern Ontario we have many ayce restaurants and a la Carta the thing is up north you cant be picky since there are no other options , their service needs to be improved, we ordered and the empty plates were piling up on the table we had to stand and actually look for the waitress since they never look at us even tho we were 2 tables able and I didnt want to yell for attention .
