The lights were off in the dining area so I assumed it was closed. But the sign said open tho. Walked in and I was greeted by someone who seemed like he just woke up from the dining area. It was awkward feeling and I wasn’t sure if I should just leave. I decided to order anyways. Food was good but i found it pretty expensive for the amount I received. Wasn’t worth the money I spent.
Ordered food through Uber! The worst chicken tikka I ever had in my life. I donot recommend if you are looking for Indian food. You would just feel the heat from the chili peppers and not any taste. Naan was under cooked too. Horrible experience…
We all had food poisoning from this place. I had the root of lettuce in my shawarma which i would have ignored if the food was good. But the food had no taste, no flavour, all in all it was garbage. I never got this much sick from so many years.
Ordered butter chicken naan from Uber eats. Smallest naan ive ever seen. Seems like frozen naan from supermarket. Butter chicken is not butter chicken (no sweetness, not yellow) and chicken is crispy and not cooked, dry, pink inside. Butter chicken is supposed to be sweet. Butter chicken gravy is too watery.. hopefully won’t get sick.
The was food quality and really authentic spices/flavour. We got the beef saj shawarma wrap and chicken shawarma saj wrap. Both were really good flavour and portion wise, but there was no description of the toppings and no option to add the toppings you'd like. The chicken shawarma had minimal toppings while the beef seemed to have a bit more variety and amount. It would be nice if they offered to choose toppings, but I would recommend just asking them what you can put on it. I do recommend trying it out!
Went to the new Fusion Grill and it's a 10/10 from us. We are huge shawarma lovers and this HIT the spot. They make everything from scratch, the portions are huge and the food is seasoned to PERFECTION. We tried the chicken platter, beef platter and the cheesy beef volcano. My only recommendations are to add pickles/turnips to the platters and to have fresh tabouleh available as a salad option. Please do not change a THING I'm regards to your homemade garlic sauce and seasonings for the meat. The owner was incredibly friendly and open to answering all of my questions. Staff also very friendly and lots of smiles all around. Atmosphere was perfect, restaurant was very clean and I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK.
All I can truly say is WOW. The food here is even better than expected. The meat is marinated and seasoned so perfectly, you can taste each individual spice they used instead of just tasting "seasoning". The fries were so crispy and fluffy on the inside (my favorite kind of fry), and the house-made pink lemonade? SO GOOD! I also got a chance to talk briefly with the owner, and he was very nice and friendly which made the visit even better. I will definitely be stopping by here more often. I loved it. Chicken Shawarma - 10/10 Pink Lemonade - 10/10 Fries - 10/10 Service - 10/10 Cleanliness of Restaurant - 10/10 I definitely recommend trying this place out.
Bit salty/ briny but flavourful and one of few halal options, set up is lovely. Went twice. Chicken dishes are good. Would not recommend the beef. Poutine was great!
Worst
For a nice meal and great service, this is the place to be.
Not even 1 star. Me and 3 of my friends ate shawarma here. We all got food poisoning. We literally cant even get up since we ate here. The food was bland no flavor at all. Do not eat from here.
Thank you for the very delicious food and thank you for the very friendly behavior. You are the best shawarma
Excellent butter chicken poutine!
No sauce on the butter chicken
The price for the food is so high and the quantity and quality are not upto the level. I won t suggest personally.
Nice quiet place to eat some great tasting food! I tried a couple of the wraps on saj bread and would definately recoment them! I plan to try much more off there menu! Butter chicken is next!
Honest and tasty!
Worst food ever since last month I ordered twice. Not really recommended never received the right order i placed.
I ordered Chicken Shawarma, and I got chicken shawarma with less chicken and lots of lettuces, actually you guys can name it Chicken Veg Shawarma.
Garbage food
Very nice guy at the counter but the chicken shawarma was rock hard covered in sauce with little taste
Very cozy ambience. The location is great. It has an indigenous vibe. The food was good too
Excellent food! Friendly and prompt service! Our new go to restaurant in Timmins!! Great job!
We went tonight to celebrate our birthdays and the food was yummy
Went there on Boxing Day to have something different and the food was amazing, great service and friendly workers. Definitely a 10/10 and will be going there again.
Love the food
Got the chicken cheesy volcano and chicken shwarma with rice. Amazing! Each meal would have been enough to split between two people to share. Everything is full of flavour.
Top notch. Will be going back!
I am absolutely delighted by this new restaurant. I had a chicken shawarma and falafel wrap, my standard order when Im trying a new shawarma spot. You can tell from the smells wafting outside that the food is going to be good, and I was not at all disappointed. Moist chicken, fresh falafel, flavorful sauces and warm fresh bread. I dont know what else to say except I will definitely be seeing them again. Vegetarian options: Falafel is maybe the king of vegetarian cuisine, and theirs is good. Kid-friendliness: Fries, chicken fingers, shakes, poutine.
This is the only place in Timmins you can get AUTHENTIC shawarma. -There are vertical rotisseries spinning and cooking chicken and beef. -You can smell cinnamon, cardamom/cloves, and coriander from the street. You get a sweet, sweet uppercut of that scent when you walk through the doors. This is an experience that I haven t had since my Ottawa days. -The garlic sauce is super thick and strong. This is the only way it should be. -veggies were fresh. The only thing that was missing was pickled turnips, which the owner said he d add. The place just opened so I think that they just didn t have them today. Finally, the owner ran out to ask us how our food was. You can tell that they really care about quality food and service.
Spectacular experience! Staff and service was amazing. Very short wait even though there were three orders ahead of us. Every bite had sensational flavour, we devoured our meals. Its a much needed restaurant for Timmins, we will definitely be returning. Vegetarian options: Decent options available Parking: Street parking, theres a lot around the block as well.
5 star for sure awesome food, great ambience, big portions.
super delicious food..love the service.
Very friendly and kind owner Mr. Vakkas Furkan Momaya. First of all very clean surrounding and environment to enjoy the delicious dishes prepared by the best chefs. Food is just yummm. Thanks and hearty congratulations to the owner as well as all the chefs and staff around.
Like another reviewer mentioned, I havent experienced shawarma like this since my Ottawa days. I got a chicken saj shawarma and my husband got a beef saj shawarma. These are our tried and true, and we both devoured them. Echoing all of the other reviews on the perfect seasoning and friendly staff. Amazing!
The restaurant is super cozy and the food is authentic and absolutely delicious. Everyone needs to try it! Love seeing it packed with people enjoying the food.
The food here is so good, I cant wait to go back. Everything we had was amazing, and cooked to perfection. Seasoned perfectly. 10/10 I ordered the chicken shawarma platter, and the cheesy beef volcano and I couldnt finish either one. Good portion sizes for the price.
Food here is amazing right after the grand opening. Everything is cooked just right with amazing flavour. Portion sizes are very good. No regrets.
This was amazing! Just enough spice and heat. Very flavourful. I ll definitely be going back
price is too high and poor food quality. Parking: No Parking
Food was so flavorful!!! I will be back!! We got the mixed family platter. While I was waiting for my order they gave me a falafel to try, it was good too! I took a look around the restaurant to see whats bee upgraded. So nice!!! Would definitely recommend.
Treated our staff to lunch today from Fusion Grill for the first time. It wont be the last time!
Excellent food and polite service. Chicken Shawarma is delicious! Asked for my wrap to be extra spicy and they definitely did not disappoint!
Amazing food, havent had shawarma like that since Ive been to Toronto
Best Lebanese food in the North by far! Weve eaten here 3x in 2 weeks. The Chicken Shawarma Platter is delicious and the amount of food is very filling. Only wish they had Lebanese roast potatoes instead of french fries and stronger, thicker Garlic sauce.
Went for lunch and ordered the chicken volcano platter (or something like that). It was delicious. This is the best meal I have had at a restaurant in a long time. The service is friendly, and the eat-in area is cozy. The portions are generous. I must say the fries are surprisingly good. A fusion poutine of some sort would be an excellent addition to their menu. I highly recommend this establishment.
Best food i ever had
I hate when people try to make chicken shawarma that dont follow the actual Lebanese style. This place is no different then our options locally. Its a very small basic underwhelming shawarma. I love seeing fresh veggies to choose from in front of face.. you have no choice here... I have to give this 1 star.
Great food, wonderful owner and staff. Really enjoyed our lunch. Nice eat-in area.
Some padding on the benches would be nice.
I had there chicken saj Sa Hawarama wrap, its really nice. Food
I ordered a chicken shawarma. I was not given a choice of toppings. There was very little to the fillings. The flavour was good.
Best in town, if you havent tried i suggest you do! Great employees good food awesome atmosphere
Very delicious food
Loved their Chicken Shawarma! Authentic and tasty! Definitely recommend this place!
The food is fantastic. Highly recommend checking this place out. Food is fresh and full of flavor.
Today we ordered food using a delivery service. We ordered 1 roll with chicken and 1 with beef and a bottle of Ayran each. We received everything pretty quickly. The rolls were quite large and very tasty. I have tried similar dishes in different countries, such as Turkey, Ukraine, Belgium, Hungary and I can say that the food in this establishment is of good quality. I recommend. Food was delicious, friendly staff that clearly care about the customer. Love the food. So
Simply, the BEST! Try the lamb/beef shawarma with Ayran! Delicious!
Delicious food, friendly staff, affordable and so filling! What more can you ask for. We were offered some chicken and their homemade garlic sauce while we waited for our order. Will definitely be a regular customer!
The shawarma saj is good but the platter is pretty good. The quantity is good.
More Indian than Lebanese. Didnt appreciate the curry. No hummus, meat was overcooked. Kind of small considering prices and comparing to other Lebanese places down south. Didnt like not being able see what toppings were available or even get to choose them. Didnt taste any tumeric or paprika either, no garlic. But the pickled turnips were spot on.
Love the beef shawarma platter
First off the worker who took my order was super polite and friendly 5 star to him. I ordered a saj chicken shawarma. The shawarma size was perfect but I personally think its lacking in vegetables, (onions pickles lettuce) and the meat has a different kick and different spices possibly? than authentic shawarma spices. Not sure what it was but very powerful.
Awful experience. Fried chicken platter DID NOT have fried chicken or fries. Rude, condescending staff. Absolutely not receptive to feedback. Total rip off.
Awful and misleading menu. Fried chicken platter does not actually have fried chicken. They said we dont fry it with oil lol. And did not have a side of fries as advertised. Very rude and defensive staff when feedback was provided. Absolute rip off. Avoid at all costs.
Food is awesome and service is good and fast!!!
Great food! Just the right amount of spices and texture. Portions were good too.
When they first opened and only focused on Lebanese food it was amazing. Since switching to more Indian food the quality has declined. It tastes like bad mall food. Will never return, worst $35 spent.
The food was exceptional when they first opened. Unfortunately, theyve introduced a new menu that strays further from the Lebanese roots and dives more into Indian cuisine. The quality and flavor has seemingly also gone downhill. Beef shawarma is now off the menu, so we ordered chicken shawarma which had unusual hints of Indian spice, especially in the rice. Mediterranean and Indian makes for an odd combo and the resulting flavour profile is lackluster at best. There was an authentic home cooked flavour to the dishes before, but now it tastes like cheaper takeout. Their sign proclaims its an indolebanese restaurant, but its really just another Indian restaurant with a sad few Lebanese and North American offerings. Sadly, a skip now.
I don t think this is worth $19. This is not even enough for one person. And naan is also not fresh and the chicken is super chewy. Never ordering from here again.
Go flavor in the chicken volcano but it was really mushy and messy. Ordering on the phone was very difficult. also, could not finish the milkshake as it had a strange taste. Old owners had better food in my opinion.
I recently dined at The Fusion Grill in Timmins and ordered their Chicken Shawarma Platter. I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant had a warm and inviting ambiance, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. The Chicken Shawarma Platter itself was fantastic. The chicken was tender and flavorful, perfectly seasoned with a blend of aromatic spices. It was accompanied by a generous portion of fluffy rice and a side of fresh, crisp salad. The combination of flavors was absolutely mouthwatering. The service at The Fusion Grill was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that all my needs were met. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend The Fusion Grill for anyone looking for a delicious meal in Timmins. Whether youre in the mood for flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine or simply want to enjoy a cozy dining experience, this restaurant has it all. I will definitely be returning to try more of their delectable dishes.
