This is a pretty good place to eat. The place was packed for lunch. Our food came quickly and it was good. The price was affordable and it's definitely a better choice than any of the fast food places. All in all it was a good choice to go eat for lunch
Came in to town for a short visit with family and decided to check this place out based on reviews. It lives up to expectations. Staff were all friendly and accurate while serving out party of 6. Would definitely stop in for breakfast at this location again
Service was amazing! Our waitress went over and above to tend to our requests, and make our experience the best it could be. Prices were pretty good and more than fair considering how much food we actually received (a lot). Food quality was awesome! From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but it is definitely a diamond in the rough. Recommended!

Went for breakfast with family members. Everything was good, served hot, and the portions are a good size. Services is fast, and the staff are pleasant. Pretty big portions and the coffee is good.
Service was excellent. Delicious truck stop style food. Home made and quick service. Hubby had the Everyone breakfast. Bacon was perfectly cooked. (Some places it’s fatty or too crispy) eggs came as ordered. I had hit hamburger and it was delicious.

Waited to be seated as 8 tables were not cleaned off. Waited and left as tables were not getting cleaned off and more than 2 tables were waiting for cutlery. All other tables were full. Went to Mikes instead. Got seated at a clean table within a minute.

For a restaurant at a truck stop, food quality and service are A+. Recommend for anyone whether youre traveling through on car or stopping by on a snowmachine or ATV. Amazing clubhouse sandwiches.

My son decided to try a burger with cheese on it for the first time. As he was eating it he said it tasted different. I said yes because there is cheese. He said look mom and I looked at his burger and it was RAW! Pink!

Great service very poor quality of the food will never to return. Ths is exactly what happened to me also, fries are terrible (like frozen shoestrings), burgers were served raw. Ordered again and raw again. Its too bad really, but until they get a better cook and change quality of food used I will not return..My last experience was Nov 2020
food was poorly made , eggs had egg shells, too much butter on toast, buddy found a bolt in his food , just a horrible experience, never coming back.

What a hidden gem!! Almost missed it on the Google search but were so glad we found it. Awesome breaky and they even have fried Bologna!! If were back to Timmins... well definitely stop back in to Mattis. Great service and fantastic food.
