Just stopped in to a Pita Pit in downtown Timmins for a late lunch with my wife. I haven't been there in a while since fall of last year and it was a nice meal. The food was made right in front of me like Subway although the staff looked very tired. I attribute this to air conditioning units not working, which made it very warm inside the building. They need to get that fixed.
I absolutly love Pita Pit! The food is always good. The only downfall the last few trips in was that there was no available customer bathroom to use and the last trip the bathroom was available but not supplied with toiletries, this is a quick fix for them though :)
No washroom use. All staff were not useing hair nets. Yes hair was up but it was fully exposed to the food. A pony tail dose not stop hair from getting into the food. Staff were uninterested and just wanted us out. Food is bland and dry for such a expensive price.
Rajdeep was beyond amazing! Ordered a chicken shawarma that came out very freshly grilled and properly edible and tasty 😊😊😊 She was very professional and interpersonal with her service and it was the best amongst workers I’ve ever seen in awhile, someone promote her or make her the manager!!! She helped me with an issue I had and was still able to serve me at this restaurant, please give her credit where it’s due!
Totally disgusted on an old woman 60 years old. I came in to order 2 wraps. Could not use the bathroom and I have just driven 3 and a 1/2 hours from Sudbury to come here and I could not hold my pee. I had to pee my pants. They wouldn't let me even use the washroom. Disgusting place and the woman is very mean.and I even spent 30 dollars to buy sandwiches I'm calling heath dept as with dine in there to have a working washroom .I was treated like they do the homeless sad they can never use the washrooms anywhere. Then she punched in the wrong order and then told my daughter that she ordered the wrong thing which she didn't three times the woman said you ordered the other thing like arguing with us I know what my daughter ordered I heard and she was very snarly with a miserable face I don't
Wrong stop to explore my first visit to Timmins. The young guy who attended to me behaved like I was a disturbance. The expression on his face is no fit for a hungry customer!! Requested for chicken shawama, so lucky i requested for the small size. My first and second bite with no taste of chicken aside the taste of pepper and veggies I selected. I decided to open the flatbread and found just 4 diced chicken. Inside the restaurant was hot and floors untidy. I paid $17 to get the poorest service I have experienced in Canada 🇨🇦 😑
Weird that they're one place that doesn't have any indoor seating at least as of my last time there. They were at least utilizing the outdoor pop up patio that was set up for them. The food however has always been good for what it is, very simple but tasty. Some downtown establishments haven't even been putting tables or chairs out for the patios they were given. Or have been doing so only very sporadically. A very nice clear day and no tables on the patio. An overcast dreary day and they did have tables outside lol. Ú
Great first experience!! The food was good and customer service was excellent. I specially asked the staffs name (her name is Ann). She was very friendly and helpful. We asked for veg food and she asked if we were vegan or vegetarian. She asked us if we wanted her to clean the grill because they cook chicken on the same grill too. I've been to a lot of other restaurants and all of them offer veg and non veg food but hardly anyone offers this. I would definitely return to this location because of the service we received. The food was good too. Felafel sandwich was really good. We bought a rice bowl as well but the rice tasted a bit undercooked but overall amazing experience! 👍

Placed my order only to wait while employee sweeps the restaurant floor, employee almost messed my order up had I not spoke up. Some serious training needs to be done on customer service and performance.
Everything was great.
I was there for chicken shawarma bowl. I ordered regular chicken shawarma bowl but I got almost veg salad bowl not even full only half. She put chicken hardy 2, 3 pieces that was left over from the previous customers order. I am big fan of chicken shawarma and I usually eat shawarma everywhere I go but never have seen anywhere like this before. Half of Veg salad bowl while ordering chicken shawarma bowl. Insane.. never ever go there again and do not recomend you if you are fan of chicken shawarma.

Food is good staff is friendly the only complaint I have is that 6 or so out of the last 10 orders Ive placed(all ten for rice bowls) I recieved a call saying they were out of rice. GET MORE RICE!!! It doesnt go bad and its cheap!
Ive been to many pita pits around Canada, and this one was definitely the worst one Ive experienced. I ordered off of skip (which btw took forever for them to prepare the order), and for some reason there wasnt the option to add avocado, or to add in grilled veggies (which at ever other pita pit they ask you if you want peppers, onion, and mushrooms on the grill). I requested for my peppers and onions to be grilled in the comments, this request was ignored. I got the falafel which came in dry crumbs. Usually when I get the falafel elsewhere it isnt dry and is in bigger chunks. Not to mention, a few toppings I asked for werent added, and it was the tiniest pita Ive ever gotten. Not happy with this location, needs some improvement.

First off, we walk in and there s nobody there to receive us. So my partner and I went to the toilets figuring by the time we re out there will be someone. Still no one. 5 minutes of waiting later, 2 young men come out from the back. The young man with the hat apologized and took our order kindly. But the one making our pitas was rude & careless. I ordered the spicy Greek pita, as I get to the ingredients he just looks at me and says what do you want so I mention I ordered the spicy Greek which already has all the ingredients to it. He replies with yeah and still just waits for me. So I had to ask well what s in the spicy Greek pita that I ordered? For him to finally proceed putting the ingredients on. I asked if he put spicy sauce, he says yes. There was no spicy sauce, barely any chicken at all and barely any tzaziki. Was very disappointed, not my first time at a pita pit and this one was my worst experience. the guy with the hat at the cash was chill tho, no hate on him

Worst experience ever. Place is disgusting, employees dont care. As a fan of pita Pit this place should be shut down for obvious health and safety standards. Would not recommend this location to my worst enemies. Considering calling the health unit.
Chicken Souvlaki pita was good, but the employee was not very generous with the vegetables and the restaurant appeared to be under renovations
Chicken Caesar is always awesome! Look forward to my lunch! Just wish they had a better location!! Parking is sometimes hard to find. So worth it! Great customer service and food is always hot and fresh and of course made the way I like it! Thank you and God Bless!

Many mistakes and issues, they did not even cook the cookies all the way they were raw after giving me the wrong cookies lol. My Pita was ok my friends broke apart and had to eat it out of a bowl.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Store is still open for an hour and doors are closed. Employee just looked at us though window and ignored us. Could atleast turn your sign off that says open. Never even have had a chance to try them out.

I shouldnt have to explain how to make a chicken shawarma when I order one. I have no clue how to make a shawarma and clearly neither do these people. So I ended up with a half decent chicken wrap. But it was no shawarma.

Popular in southern ontario, this is a healthy fast food place. Great tasting pitas and salads. Choose your own toppings like subway and has nice smoothies too. Definitely give it a try
