We had the pleasure of dining at Kabob Guys, and it was a delightful experience. The enticing aroma of Afghan cuisine filled the air, setting the tone for a memorable meal. Was told about this spot through a friend and it was well worth it to check out !! Service was great and the food was so fresh !! Took about 20 mins to get home and everything still stayed fresh ! Highly recommend getting extra white sauce as you will be dipping the meat with every bite ! The take out presentation is also very neat and organized. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu :)
Today, I had an order to pick up, and unfortunately, my experience with the cashier was very disappointing. I waited for almost 20 minutes for my order, and when it was finally handed to me, the cashier’s behavior was extremely unprofessional, rude, and impolite. Such conduct creates an unpleasant experience for customers, and I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure better service in the future.
Got the "Wazir Platter" ... Salad, fries, chicken, tandoori chicken, beef tikka, chaplee (hamburger type), shish kebab, basmati rice and naan. it's good amount for 5 to 6 people. $99.00 not including tax and tip. Suggestion: have water for dine in customers. Other than that awesome place to eat in Scarborough.
The service was incredible—the staff went above and beyond to recommend menu selections that suited our tastes. However, despite the positive online reviews, I was a bit disappointed with the food. The meats were rough and hard to chew, which was subpar compared to other Afghan restaurants I've visited. That said, I appreciate the service, so I’d still be willing to give them a second chance to see if it was just an off day.

Did not enjoy the bolani I got. It is literally paper thin. It’s expensive for what you get. I also do not like the taste. I usually get a thicker and bigger one from an Afghani restaurant which is literally half the price, but it’s outside of Toronto and I wanted to find somewhere closer, so I came here. This was a major disappointment. The staff/owners are not at all friendly, despite their sign claiming to be hospitable. They were not hospitable. Despite the store having a glowing sign that said open, the doors were locked. I realize it was a couple minutes before noon. When they made eye contact with me, instead of opening the doors and saying hey we’re opening soon, they just were watching me through the glass doors doing nothing. They didn't even bother to ask me what type of bolani I wanted, didn’t allow me to pay by apple pay, made me use debit and their tap doesn't work. Kept me waiting for longer than what they said—had to wait about 20 minutes for one lousy bolani. Do not recommend.
Was delicious but not my favourite because I don't like greasy food. They made rice with too much butter and oil. Their behaviour was kind and friendly

Meat was super tough and hard to chew. Kabob was dry. The rice was good and the naan. But meats were not good at all.
The food, as always, was enjoyable. Today my partner and I tried their mushroom soup for the first time. It is off the charts delicious. It has the right amount of creaminess and spice, with fresh mushrooms. Support this eatery. It is well worth it!

Ive been a customer for 2.5 years and I was very surprised they charged me $1 extra for hot sauce and garlic for my dine in. These guys know me by name, they have unparalleled hospitality written all over their board inside the restaurant but yet, they do this. These are the little things why people will never return to your place. Treat someone like a stranger despite them being your loyal customer. Not coming back here again. Not worth my monies anymore...Kate is all pretense.

Kabob Guys is hands down one of the best spots in town for delicious, authentic kebabs! The flavors are incredible, with tender, juicy meat and perfectly seasoned dishes that always hit the spot. The portions are generous, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making every visit feel like a special experience. Whether dining in or taking out, the quality is consistently excellent. Highly recommend trying their Grand Wazir! Will definitely be coming back for more!

Came into the restaurant and lady servicing told us it will take 30 minutes to prepare the food , wallah it 45-50 minutes until we got our food and when we cane at the 30 minutes point to ask for the food she gave us alot of attitude saying it has not been 30 minutes yet. Food was decent but the portions for the price was horrendous. The chicken poutine had Costco fries with no cheese no sauce or flavor, and the chicken kabobs were Ok. The washroom was the only clean thing about the spot.

It was the best experience for me to have had tandoori wazri dinner from kabob guys..the tandoori chicken and beef was Soo tasty... The atmosphere here is amazing, the customer service top notch and not mention the food: to buy for. And anyone who thinks otherwise dont even know what a gem this kabob joint is. Definitely missing out: if you dont come and try for yourself.

This place is clean, the smell of the place is good which encouraged me to eat there. The sweet lady is amazing. She explained the menu in detail and prepared the food fresh along with the fellow chef inside. I would eat here again.
I was on my way to Babu for takeout and we saw this place on my right and I wanted to give it a try. The manager was patient and explained the menu, I opted for the lamb chops and paneer cheese and the food was restaurant quality. I was amazed and I struggled to finish my meal and failed. My wife ordered the chicken and beef kabobs and she loved her meal as well. I normally go to Bamiyan for Afghan food, but this is now my go to place. We have to go back for the wraps next time.
I ve been to the Spadina location and it was good, so we decided to give the Scarborough location a try. I got the double kabob Maleka and my partner got the Wakil (shish kabob and tandoori chicken). I would recommend both dishes. We came for lunch and the food was fresh. The size of the dish for the price was also worth it, I even had enough to bring home for my dinner

Had a terrible experience at this location. Drove 1.5 hours and ordered a large platter of food amongst other items. Was extremely disappointed to see that food was served to us in tin foils. No plates or actual cutlery either. We were given food tins to use as plates and plastic cutlery to cut kabobs with. The kabobs were overcooked, chewy and dry. The bolani was under cooked and soggy. One of the staff working was extremely rude and aggressive. She began shouting once I asked her why they didn t have plates. She was extremely unhinged and rude. It s a dine in location. If you intend on giving people tin foil boxes to serve their food out of then make that clear on your socials . Regret my large order and I regret my pre-service tip. I will never visit this location again.

Overpriced, small servings, interior could be a little cleaner, renovation would help. The split peas need to be soaked and cooked more, they were a little hard for my taste. The server was very friendly and welcoming, that was the only good thing about our visit.

Great food
Did an online order for pickup. It said 35-40 minutes. I reached 15 minutes prior and the order was bagged up. Went up to the cashier. Place was empty and my order was the only one sitting. I said hey, one order for *my name* . Employee says I need to see your order . I repeat my name but it wasn t good enough. I need to see your order . So a customer comes up, says the name of the only order you have. Instead of using common sense you instead make them SHOW you the order? Anyways, the food was COLD. Like fridge cold. All of it. Not a single warm order. If you set the expectation that the food will be ready in 35-40 minutes, and the person arrives in 30, and the food is cold, what are you doing? Also my meat was pink. Definitely raw in some places. Picture included.

Delicious Afgan food, a different blend of Asian recepies. Salmon is the best here. Its pity they dont sell it separately. Neat clean place to dine, service with smile. Recommend Halaal food in the area.

Was expecting the kabobs to be absolutely groundbreaking based on the high cost and unbelievably high rating this restaurant has, but alas, the rating was padded as I had suspected. The kabobs were nothing particularly special compared to other restaurants, and some of the beef skewers were dry and tough to chew. The chicken was very well cooked however, which is where I am willing to give praise. Plus, the price was incredibly steep--much more expensive than any other restaurant in Toronto. For the quality of the food that I got, it was definitely not worth the cost or recommendation.
Loved the flavours - we had the classic and tandoori chicken - both were moist and tasty! We came all the way from Oakville - can t wait to make the trip again! Food

Taste of food was good but what you expect from chicken poutine? Chicken right. Our chicken poutine was filled with french fries . Very less chicken tiny bit of yoghurt sauce. Feels like I have spent $$ for french fries for the price of chicken. This is not accepted.

We came for dinner to satisfy the craving for Afghan-style BBQ, and man this place doesnt disappoint! Friendly service and explanation of the menu for us first-timers, food came within 10 minutes as promised (restaurant was medium busy), and everything tasted freshly made; which it was as youre able to see back into the kitchen. The meat was tender and marinated well, the bread was hot, and Im not a rice person but this was good too. We got mango milkshake on the side (good), and firni (really good!) New favorite Kebab restaurant in the city

Ordered for delivery. In a nutshell, my takeout experience at was great . The food was delicious, portion sizes were good, and the packaging ensured everything arrived warm and intact. This is my new spot for Afghan food.
This place is a solid 2 stars. I had kabob at other restaurants throughout Scarborough that are of much better quality, flavor and freshness, I felt like I was eating left overs. The naan is like a reheated thick pita bread and not the usual tandoor bread that other establishments make to order. The salad was also lacking, it was 70% iceberg lettuce, 10% sauce and 30% diced tomatoes and red onions (with sumaq?). Rice is decent. It doesnt help that price is on par with others in the area that deliver a better product. A HUGE red flag is that I got diarrhea from the food here. And come to think about it, the place seemed unkept. The tables were shaky, baseboards look like they havent been cleaned in years (or at least could be repainted), and overall it doesnt seem like they put much care into things. Those impressions I gathered from the dining room has me wondering what the kitchen is like, especially after my experience.
Best Afghan food in the city
I loved the Chapli kabob it is flavourful spicy and delicious. The Tandori and Tika Kabob was very juicy and tender. Thanks Mr Jalal for the delicious food
Waited an hour and half for order on DoorDash only for the order to be cancelled. Two dashers visited the restaurant then left due to the wait time.

Delicious. Very pleasantly surprised! Excellent value for money. The portion is generous, the meat is not dry, the pancakes are fragrant and soft, and the salad is fresh and delicious. It s a small shop near home and I will definitely visit it often in the future.
